The place is great and the service is outstanding. I had recently organised a party for my wife's birthday with 15 people and the waiter took great care of our every need. The friendly service, great food and great vibe definitely will bring us back again.

One of my favorites in Frankfurt! The food and drinks are really good, just today I had chilaquiles for breakfast and they tasted just like in Mexico. The staff are all really wonderful and the ambiente and decoration is my favorite in all of Frankfurt, you can see how much love went into this place.

I can't recommend this place enough. Great food, amazing cocktails. It's in a very quiet corner of town and the ambience is lovely. The staff is unimaginably friendly and cheerful. I celebrated my birthday there (paid around 320€ for eight people, but we had lots of cocktails), so we got free tequila and all the food and drinks was just fantastic. 100% would recommend, best place to eat in the entirety of FfM.

Really tasty Mexican food! They use many ingredients imported from Mexico, so the taste is original. NEW! They now have chilaquiles -tortilla chips with red or green sauce, cream and cheese with fried beans- a traditional breakfast dish, for weekend breakfast starting at 10:30. (Plus other delicious options). You must ask for “café de olla” which is coffee with a slight cinnamon taste and sweetened with “piloncillo” (comes from sugar cane).

Yummy food with good but a bit slow service which they mention even in the menu. If all the tables are full, it could take 1 hour to get your main dish. I’m Mexican and have been living in Frankfurt for over 7 years. I recently went with my family, and while the food was good before, now it is OUTSTANDING—just like being in a very good restaurant in Mexico City! We also received excellent service from Ernesto Dunn, who is actually the chef. He explained the recipes to us in great detail, and his salsa picante is super good! 👏👏👏 Fully recommended! 👍🏻

Pretty good Mexican food (saying a lot for a girl from Texas) & nice handmade corn tortillas, which is hard to find in Germany. A bit expensive for what you get, but good food & ambience overall :) Would definitely go back & would also definitely recommend the ceviche. 👌

The restaurant it's nice with great outdoor sitting and the food is good, great mexican food. The tacos 🌮 cochinilla pibil were delicious and the salsa verde and totopos con guacamole aswell. We could sit later than usual, I guess because the Berger straßenfest, but our table was a bit unattended. I'll give five stars anyway because we enjoyed anyway. The servers were nice and it look like they make nice cocktails 🍸

One of the best restaurant I've ever been! Food is great, we had nachos to share then some burritos and fajitas it was perfect, the meat, seasoning, etc. Cocktails are veeeery good, we had the mojito, the cosmo and the Chapo, Chapo was the winner ! The service was also amazing, we didn't understand everything on the menu and the staff was very helpful and good advice. The ambiance is nice, the place is colorful and well presented.

Wow! Guys I am Hispanic and let me tell you. The ambiance the service the people were all on point! I have been in Frankfurt for 2 weeks home sick and the food brought me back home Back to my wife’s cooking! The cooks are from Mexico this is as authentic as it gets! I just came and tried their new brunch menu and I am very pleasantly surprised. The chilaquiles are as authentic as they can be, totally recommend! I had a chai latte which was nice and the cafe de olla was also praised. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I have a good experience at this place. First of all, I have to mention that the service young lady was super friendly. We had Flautas as a starter and Fajitas Pollo for two people served with 8 pieces with warm tortillas (of course, you can order extra). Lemonade was fresh and cocktail was great. I will surely visit there again.

I’m hesitant to post how much I enjoyed this place only because I don’t want to compete for reservations. But truth be told if you’re in Frankfurt and you’re craving Mexican food this is the place to go. The staff is friendly & the delicious food reminds you of sitting on a beach in Mexico. 🇲🇽

After a lot of recommendations, we finally went for dinner over here last evening. Situated near the Zoo station, this restaurant is very much noticeable. We were served by Clemente and I must say he is amazing at his work. Super friendly, helpful, amazing food recommendations….he definitely topped our experience at the restaurant. They have good options for vegan and vegetarians too. Loved my experience at this place and would definitely recommend for anyone who is visiting Frankfurt. P.s: make a prior reservation through google. The restaurant gets pretty full (even on a weekday)

I'm not a fan of Mexican cuisine, but I would make an exception at this restaurant. Not only does everything taste delicious, it's also visually inviting. The choice on the menu is very large - both in terms of dishes and drinks. Everything is highly original and inviting to try. I would definitely recommend booking a seat in advance via the website - you can now pay by card, although there is a cash-only warning at the time of booking.

I used to love Mexican food back in NYC. With El Pacifico, I finally found a good Mexican restaurant in Germany. Definitely the best Mexican food I have had so far in Germany. I finally made it to their restaurant. The people who work there were really nice and friendly. Everything tasted really good. I will definitely come back.

Well this place was on my list from really long time because I had heard so much about this place from my friends. I finally visited this place and I must say that this is a beautiful place to visit on a weekend! I tried their specialty cocktails “Maracuja con capirinha” and “Sinaloa”. Both of them were bang on and especially Sinaloa. I never knew there could be a cocktail made of coriander. I also had their fajitas and the quantity was massive ( Buuuurp!!!). No doubt they all tasted good. I’m also a dessert person which means I also had their “Churros & Eis”. They were good as well 🤤🤤🤤 All in all it was a good experience with friendly staffs and good atmosphere but somewhere I feel this place is a little pricey for what they have to offer!! But good job guys!! Keep it up.

Food was good. It was OK. For the food I would come back, but drinks are overpriced. Specially the strawberry Limonade. Water with some kind of flavour, not really strawberry flavour more than the half strawberry in the glass and we were expecting something else for 6,20€. Service was very good. Super nice easy going place at the Berger Straße! Love the food they serve even if it sometimes takes a while. Make sure to reserve some seats as this will almost always be fully booked! Other than this it is nice to sit on their outside terrace as it gets pretty loud inside...

Their food is ok but their drinks are great. I really think they should reorganize the menu because every time I went it was very hard to follow/understand. The structure was confusing for all of us. the atmosphere is nice and the service is good too.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The atmosphere was great and our server was very polite, helping us choose our menu for the night. Cocktails were good.. The only downside for me was I found it was a bit pricey, but I guess the amount of food on each plate made up for that.

Came here on a recommendation of a few people. The margaritas are seriously lacking tequila. I got the frozen Mango and as an avid tequila and margarita drinker, this is a total fail. Couldn't taste any alcohol. The "spicy" margarita also lacked the same. The topos appetizer had a lot of toppings but lacked good flavor. To end, I got the cochinita pibil tacos, this saved my dining experience. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, tortillas were warm, Guacamole was good.

As a loyal customer of El Pacífico for the past two years since moving to Frankfurt, I feel compelled to share both my appreciation and my concerns. Being Mexican, born and raised, I’m always on the lookout for a place that feels like home, somewhere with authentic flavors, a warm atmosphere, and good spicy drinks. El Pacífico has been just that for me, I visit almost every weekend. However, one issue has consistently stood out to me: the high turnover of staff. I understand that the food service industry is demanding and fast-paced, but over time, I’ve observed what I believe to be part of the problem. On multiple occasions, I’ve witnessed members of the management team treating new employees, particularly during training, with a lack of patience and, at times, outright rudeness, even in front of customers! It’s disheartening to see promising waitstaff disappear after just a short time, likely discouraged by the environment. As a regular, I believe that good service is just as important as good food. The staff members, when supported, contribute greatly to the welcoming, home-like atmosphere that makes this place special. I truly believe that if management focused more on cultivating a respectful and supportive work environment, they would retain their employees longer, which would only improve the overall dining experience. I say this with respect and care, as someone who has genuinely enjoyed El Pacífico for years, and with the goal of helping a great restaurant become even better.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, a bit tight though, but I really loved the colorful walls. The food was ok, I was expecting a bit more, for example the taco toppings, but the taste was good. If I ever need a Sombrero I know where to buy one 😁

Just had dinner here and I have to say very good. Delicious Mexican food, very tasty. Prices are reasonable considering how big are the portions. Would suggest more Mexican beers, not only Corona. We had to wait a little bit for the food, but of course was quite crowded too. Still enjoyed it lot. I’m Mexican American. Ok food. Not incredibly authentic. Lack of spice (even when asking for the spiciest sauce). Some of the margaritas included a salt rim, some didn’t. A bit of inconsistencies. Service fair. A bit pricey. They were out of gusano salt for the mezcal. Room for improvement but over all, an “ok” place to visit.

Well, it was walk in and we thought to give it a try. Everything went well, food was delicious, as well as beverages. We loved decoration inside and we loved it outside too. Vibes were great. However, it took way too long for food and drinks to come. I’m not sure why, no one told us. :)) but we got shots as “apology” for delay. Delay is the only reason that could damage experience. I loved it and will be back in summer!

I go to Pacifico about once every 1-2 years for the past 15 years. The food changes considerably each time I visit and has varied from average to outstanding. On my most recent visit this month (July 2019) we were pretty happy overall. Portions were huge and everything tasted fresh. They have the best homemade nacho chips in Frankfurt by far. The salsa variety is also nice but lacking any really spicy options. The only frustrating part of our experience is the sloooooooow service. Like most restaurants in Germany, they don't hire enough staff to properly take care of the number of tables they have. We would have easily ordered twice as many drinks if we could have. Maybe offering pitchers of margaritas could be a solution to this problem.

This restaurant provides a tasty and fairly authentic Mexican food experience overall, making it a good option in Frankfurt. However, two elements require significant improvement: the Tres Leches dessert is not it, and the Michelada mix itself is poor. For the Michelada, allowing customers to choose their preferred Mexican bottled beer instead of the standard draft would be already and improvement, but the main focus should be fixing and improving the flavor of the mix.

El Pacifico is a nice place to enjoy Mexican food with tasty dishes and good service. The atmosphere is lively, but it’s often so crowded that it can be difficult to relax and chat with friends. It would be a great spot for a night out or a nightclub, but for dining, it can feel a bit too busy. Perhaps finding a way to manage the number of guests or tables could improve the experience. Nonetheless, the food and service are still very good.

Good experience, food was very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He did accommodate to our request to change a drinks recipe to our liking. We tried most of the food in the menu. We will go back again for that good experience.

We visited the restaurant after approximately 5-6 years again. It looks like there is a new owner with the effect that the restaurant developed not in a good direction: The food is not so “authentic” anymore (beside the nachos and the tortilla dough). They even don’t have sangrita - THE traditional Mexican aperitif together with a tequila shot. Salsa roja was something red-ish with a strange mixture of several spices which actually taste more Indian (but not good Indian ☝️). Salsa verde was green but I couldn’t taste green tomatoes and jalapeños - no spice. I am really wondering what they put in. In total a complete disappointment for someone who had the chance to ate real Mexican food. However it is difficult to find a good Mexican restaurant in the Frankfurt region generally speaking. Last but not least: The old interior is also slightly changed. They are using not dimmed energy lamps now which create an atmosphere of an old station waiting room from the seventies with these famous “neon glow lamps”…😵‍💫.

Place is nice enough but after I was told that cheese and beans are extra when ordering nachos I mentally decided not to come back again. This is not extra guac or extra chips that you can charge for, but ingredients that are part of the recipe. It's like charging more for mozzarella on pizza, ridiculous. The waiter was very nice but overall wouldn't come back, too expensive and definitely not a real Mexican restaurant. Cute and colorful though!

Yesterday in early morning decided to hunt for mexican restaurant and was surprised that there is quite a few in frankfurt, find "El Pacifico" by the name i thought they probably have pacifico beer otherwise why would they call them selves like that, Went to get one of my favourite drink from Mexico Michilada! Remember with pacifico it's muy ricoo! What I get there was shocked... Decided to give another shot and order food, Tacos El pastor ! Noone can go wrong with tacos , but not this time... I'm not mexican myself but been a few times in mexico and know that these tacos have to be with pork meat... gues what I get? Sliced chicken breast 😁😅 tortillas was not fresh as well... anyway giving 3 stars becouse the staff who works there are really friendly they deserve more than 5 stars, but food and my michilada was nothing close to authentic 😕

We came to El Pacifico on national margarita day and ordered a pitcher of margarita and some dinner. The pitcher wasn’t on the menu, we didn’t ask for the price because how much could a pitcher cost. Big mistake, it ended up being €80! I’ve never paid that much for a pitcher, and the worst part was they told us they use 1800 tequila (a €25 bottle). We made friends with the locals at the table next to us and they told us that the waiter warned them that it is cheaper to buy the margaritas individually. He didn’t say a word to us. The owner was there and offered us an additional 2 margaritas on the house and he was kind about the situation but still it wasn’t the best experience. Food was good and margaritas were tasty, but not for €80.

Guys, you can't serve tortillas like that! Tortillas are the heart of Mexican cuisine. Dry, cracked tortillas are impossible to make a good taco.

I rate this Place 3 star because of 2 things. First I made a reservation at 6pm and due to traffic could not make it on time tried to call the restaurant to tell them but no one pick up. Ok that’s understandable maybe it is busy, when we arrived the place was not that packed but they were only 2 waiters and we waited for 3 mins then a server came and ask if we do have a reservation without saying hi or hello, and to answer him I said yes and I was about to tell him that I tried to call to let them know, but he cut me off telling me that our table is available until 8 pm. (I find it rude the way he deliver the message and he was not friendly at all) that’s a minus point, first impression counts. The table that we sat, was a little discomfort, because of the set up of the chair. I was facing the bathroom which I could see people coming in and out( this really bothers me wherever I go) then my friend facing the wall, it was fine but on her left side she could see what is happening in the food service area. Maybe if the set up of the chair is other way around or move the portable wall closed to the wall, ( rearrange the chair) anyway her sight is better than mine after all. That’s the second minus point there for me. The food was good and plated well( I would go for the round plates though instead of rectangular, but that’s preference after all it was tasty) our server was friendly and the Margaritas is delectable, a must try. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated as well as the table and the bar. Above all it was a great evening, definitely will come back, until then!

I came here for the third time over a few years. Ordered the nachos with cheese and enchiladas. The nachos [~9€】were wonderful, very delicious with a cheesy sauce. The enchilada【~15€】 was only 'decent'. The tortilla had a very unusual taste to it, which made the dish hard to enjoy, even though the filling and the sides were alright.

I came here a few weeks ago and the service and food were amazing so I came back with some friends and the experience was disappointing. The told us upon arrival on a Friday night that they did not have frozen margaritas. We order one round of drinks that arrived after 10 minutes or so. The food was really good, but we ate it without anything to drink because we ordered another round of drinks that did not arrive after 30 mins. We asked many times what was wrong and they told us that the bar was quite busy, but we were seated next to the bar and could see everyone else getting drinks except for us. After 45 mins we asked again and it turned out that the drinks were not even ordered. They then apologize profusely and finally the drinks arrived but they were the wrong ones and also tasted awful (mezcalita with Hibiskus I believe), which were given for free, so I guess that could be a plus point. Overall no consistency in the service makes me never want to come back there. What a shame..

Never in my life i have paid 14€ for a burrito before. I also need to admit it must have been of the best tough - we waited around 45 min for our food. It seems to be a recurrent issue here as i read this in some other comments. The place gets really crowded so i guess they can not be much faster with the food anyways. I would come back to try a different thing. I believe its overpriced but i would definitely repeat, however i will do it only when i am not hungry as i had a hard time waiting for my food for so long...

Started with a great experience. Walked into a great atmosphere and music. Ordered our drinks and food. Mango margarita was a great size but tasted like there was no alcohol, but the tamarindo had a nice kick. Flautas came and then we ordered an additional lemonade. Sad to say the lemonade never came. Even after trying to get a waitress’s attention only to be ignored 4 different times. Then our tacos came, We ended up being shorted one tortilla and asked the waitress but she said the “menu” was changed even though it clearly stated 4 tacos on each (wouldn’t let me post the screenshot due to criteria) and she even said she’d go to the kitchen to double check but never came back. Additional I’d be aware of the different roles of the people working there. We asked a different waitress for our check but apparently there is only 1 person to take orders and hand out the checks. I will say the payment process was cool/easy though. Also be aware of the time cause it became very busy very quick while we were there and parking is hard to find.

Since the place has a lot of demand, I finally went their for lunch. Service is friendly, ambiente is good and so is the food. The only surprising thing was the portion size, which, in my opinion, is very small. I first thought that I got the wrong order, but no. 21 Euros for a small bowl of pork, 4 tiny tacos and a spoonful of guacamole and salsa, plus a glass of beer, is a lot.

Maybe therefore the staff is very busy and I’m you get them one time to take your order and then when they bring it, after that it will be very difficult to get them is something si missing or you would like to have anything else, even for paying it takes a long time to get them, nevertheless they are very friendly and they speak different languages. The food is very close to a traditional Mexican food, taste and quality are good. The menu is big enough to find something you would like to try and if you are not sure the staff can help you to decide. The prices are fair and the parking will be a bit difficult if you want to party on any street near ti the restaurant, better to use the parking house near to the restaurant.

I have had mexican food around the world, this was not spectacular. Let me be more direct 70% of menus with fajitas have at least beef, at this place only chicken and shrimp. 25% of the world wants chicken, less than 10% wants shrimp and a massive 70% want beef. Skirt/flank steak is available in Germany you just have to ask the butcher for it. Now even though skirt steak in Germany is considered a junk cut, this does not stop all other nations from using it in 5 star places to eat. Though the atmosphere and location were ok the food minus the smaller portions it was just so so. I have had much much better mexican food in my life and consider myself somewhat of an expert on this subject having eaten mexican food in at least 20 different nations.

I’m giving this 2 stars because it’s a “Mexican” restaurant in Frankfurt Germany. Otherwise it would have been a solid 1 star. I ordered a “Michelada” to quench my thirst, instead I received a beer in a slender glass with a single tear drop of tomato juice and half a bottle of tapatio (hot sauce). There was enough salt in this drink to season the rest of my food. The tortilla chips taste like someone is back there licking all the seasoning off Doritos and then baking them with a dash of salt. The quesadilla looked promising, but unfortunately not to my surprise was bland. I was going to get a burrito, but after being informed that “burritos are 80% rice” I got a quinoa bowl instead because “they can’t mess up a bowl right?” Boy was I wrong. The chipotle overpowered all other flavors. The cherry tomatoes did nothing for the dish and the bay leaves left in the dish were unpleasant. I ordered a soft drink and typically the waiter brings a can so that the customer can pour the drink but that wasn’t the case here which was odd. The space itself was cringe. It felt like whoever made the design decisions went shopping at the Mexico City airport and quickly grabbed discounted stereotypical Mexican souvenirs to decorate every little corner of the interior. Service was ok. The waitress was kind but looked like she could use some help. All that being said, I’m fully aware I am currently IN Germany. However, that shouldn’t be an excuse to give people food that not only is over priced, but under or over seasoned. If you’re going to do something, do it right. Otherwise, don’t do it. This is my honest review, as a Mexican, with a culinary and architectural background. Respectfully, please, do better not only for my culture, but for your customers. Gracias.
