Thank you so much to our cashier who help my mother and I as we picked up lunch. Leo was so helpful, they knew the menu so well and was very kind. Made our day!
Staff was great assisting me with a very large order, and it was prepared in a timely manner.
So my daughter called me asked me did I want chicken noodle soup from Panera Bread I said sure so she got me a chicken noodle soup and bread from here it was tasty I really enjoyed the soup & bread! Soup had great tasting broth and veggies and noodles it was hot and tasty , definitely will try other food on the menu when i visit the restaurant
The food is great everything great. It's hard to choose what you want. The macaroni and cheese with bacon is just delicious, I mean the mac and cheese alone is just great. Their bacon turkey Bravo is great it's on this tomato basil bread so so good. Definitely my new place to eat.
You guys gotta try every item on the menu, everything is good. Also become a member to get free drinks only if your there often. Recommend Panera to newbies 👍
Fresh food. Good service. I took my 82 year old grandma and she said the broccoli cheddar soup was delicious as well as her grilled turkey avocado sandwich. She especially was happy to take the pastry home to have with coffee the next morning at home.
I love Panera and I go to several locations but this location is the friendliest. The managers create a fun place for their employees to be and that spills over to the customers. It's like walking in to Cheers- everyone knows everyone else. I love it.
Came in w/ no appetite. I only have had the salads & I needed to eat more for dinner. I got a sweet young lady to give ideas, Mariah . She knows the menu & gives great advice. I got the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It was all delicious. I'll come back for it again.
Wonderful welcome display when you enter this restaurant to greet the guests. You can see how committed this Panera Bread location is in West Covina is to serve the community with fundraising. Restaurant is very clean inside and the food show cases are visually appealing. The GM came by our table to greet and welcome us to his restaurant. Love the personal touch and customer service. I will share my positive experience with my friends & family. Thank you!
The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. I suggest you wear a sweater, it was a little chilly after awhile. I would still go again.
If you visit in the daytime on a weekday, you'll find quite a few students that are all studying, alone and in groups. The wifi is free and like Starbucks, you really don't have to order anything to take advantage of it. I've used this location for more than a few client meetings over the years mainly because I enjoy the food. I do wish the menu was expanded a bit but I'm always happy with my choice in the end. The bowl meals are my go to choice and this is one of the few restaurants that I don't order the same thing every time. You really can't go wrong here. Their order and we'll bring it to you concept is the most efficient I've seen anywhere.
They always go above and beyond at this location - food is always great, and I love the fact that if you go often enough, sometimes you get an extra treat every once in a while. They are short staffed sometimes, especially in the morning, but probably because there is a rush of people coming in at the same time. I love how they still don't rush you though, even if there's a line. Nothing irks me more than being hurried along.
I really enjoy that there are kiosk to order and the ease of rapid pickup. I enjoy all the bagels here and even if they are with the butter. The service is on time and wonderful. The tables are clean and the restrooms as well. Great place to dine.
Great food and great service! The staff especially one named Toni, was super helpful towards my 6 kids and pregnant wife for her bday dinner! She was super nice and made sure we were well taken care by cleaning up our dirty dishes while eating and checking in on us ! Will come back
Every time I visit this Panera Bread, I’m impressed with the consistent quality of service. The team is friendly and always makes sure I’m taken care of. I had the chicken Caesar salad today, which was fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance—clean, cozy, and perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. Whether you’re here for a quick bite or to enjoy a leisurely lunch, the atmosphere makes it a pleasant experience every time.
I’ve been coming to this Panera Bread for a while now, and the service is always outstanding. The staff is courteous, efficient, and ensures your meal is just right. I had the signature Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a bread bowl today, and it was the perfect comfort food—rich, creamy, and satisfying. The ambiance is lovely with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seating. Whether I’m in a hurry or enjoying a leisurely meal, this Panera Bread is always a great choice!
Never a disappointment. The staff is always friendly. The food is consistent. They even caught themselves messing up an order as I walked out with my item and called me to go back in for the correct order. Even gave an item for my inconvenience. I respect the integrity. Thank you!
There was a like but the line workers were taking orders and being courteous to every person. I went back for my drink because it wasn't with my order, and Leo was so nice and took care of it right away for me. These people work hard and with good attitudes. I really appreciate them
Very good but super expensive
Good for group. Feel better in Health, My goodness.
Great food, staff is pretty nice. Overall atmosphere is positive & clean. Will be going back.
I placed a pickup order for creamy tomato soup, and it was good, not better or worse than other Paneras I’ve been to
The sandwiches and pastries are good. Good social distancing & everyone was wearing masks. It's very quiet inside. There is some outside dining, but it's not crowded. I felt safe going inside to pick up my order. They have tablets set up so you can order inside without talking to anyone, and there's also online ordering. They have hand sanitizers.
This place apparently has been here over 10 + years, and I wouldn't have come in here until my associate wanted to come in here. The first day I was here, my impression was wow, like Starbucks but soup, bread and salad. And then the sip club, buffet of self served drink, and coffee. Now I visit almost every day cause where else can you get this kind of deal. I've been here for 4 months and loving it.
It is a busy location, they have a option where you can use an ipad and order everything on your own. Good amount of seating.
The staff was kind and attentive. I arrived early to a meeting and was looking for somewhere to get work done and have lunch. I was hesitant at first to come here after reading the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised of the opposite. I will definitely will be back the next time I’m in the area.
I absolutely love visiting this cozy spot for tea or coffee, especially because of their wonderful “Sip Club.” It's such a great deal—membership is just $15 a month, giving you unlimited access to fountain drinks, coffee, and tea. Plus, they often waive the membership fee or just charge $3 for new members, which is really generous! And I must say, their pastries are delicious too. It's a comforting place to unwind and enjoy some tasty treats.
Early morning catering order was ready! Staff was friendly and helpful! They loaded the order in my car quickly and wished me well!
The Panera Bread location in West Covina always has friendly, attentive staff. I love eating here because the staff has a sense of humor. There are plenty of places to sit in, and there is free wifi. I have never had a problem with the food, and they have a great menu. I love their chili. The music that is played in this location is nicely eclectic and reminds me of when I was in college in the eighties. It's like eating in a time machine. I highly recommend Panera Bread West Covina, CA.
Food is excellent. I used the app in order to avoid the line as stated on the app. I arrived at specified ready time and I still had to wait 45 more minutes for a simple combo order. I brought it to the attention of the service staff, but all she said was "when your name shows up on the screen it'll be ready".
Delicious menu options, fast and courteous service. LOVE the salad combos. Specials on bagels on TUESDAYS. It does get really busy in the evening, sometimes hard to get a table as lots of people linger around for the wifi.
food is good and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The only real complaint would be that the girl bathrooms are very inconvenient. One stall is way too small and the other is ridiculously large. please work on that Panera. . it's time
Good spot for cyber cafe. Lots of power outlets. AC was cold. Outside seating available if so desired with umbrella covering. Plenty of parking. Food is standard fare. My fork did come with extra dried food on it but it can happen anywhere. Something everyone should be aware every time at a diner. Update Oct-2022: now the masks are off, the place lively up a bit with bigger crowds. Service is adequate just need to ask(response is immediate).
I've been coming to this Panera for years. The staff has always been nice. Today Leo was my cashier. He is friendly, fast and knowledegable. He seems very confortable with the register, menu, and ingredients. He was able to suggest items and tell us how ordeing one thing that we wanted or another would save a dollar here or there. In that short amt of time we ordered, he was to establish a connection with me and my family because he was funny, he smiled and even told us stories. Hes excellent at the front. Good job Panera for putting happy employees at the front to greet you as you first enter. The food is always good. I've never had an issue with the food or getting my order mixed up. The only reason why I'm giving Panera in West Covina 4 stars is due to the restrooms. The ladies restroom makes me think I'm at a gas station. It's somewhat dirty but even if they were clean, they need work. They are just ran down. The toilets, sink, soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser still work but just looks ugly. Leo and the staff are awesome!!!
Panera is usually a good experience, even through the pandemic. 4 stars because of a confusing dining experience. My wife's order was given to us immediately on a plate. My order came a few minutes later in a to-go bag for a toasted bagel and cream cheese. This even though we said we would eat in the dining area. * Updated 12/22 quality is still good service is good, but they are still short handed coffee was out when I arrived and was filled after a few minutes. Same issue again when I went for a refill a half hour later. All coffee containers were empty plus the hot water. If they are going to offer a coffee club for unlimited drinks, they need to put out bigger pots of coffee. Also ran into a homeless person inside drinking half and half. He had a legitimate new cup for coffee but I don't think they intended the half and half to be a drink. Unintended consequences of unlimited drink program.
I went to the West Covina Panera Bread last night to pick up dinner for my family. In my opinion, Panera Bread is way overpriced for what it is, but this is only a review this particular location. The food was ordered online so I just went and picked it up. After getting back home with the food, I realized the half Steak and Arugula sandwich was not in the bag. I had to go all the way back to get it. They ended up giving me a full sandwich and two pastries for free, which I believe are pretty good compensation for my troubles. All in all, a pretty good experience with the West Covina Panera Bread. I would recommend this location.
Busier than most, but it was similar to most other locations.
The sandwich had to much bread and not enough meat for me
Looking for a healthy option for dinner. Panera always come through with the salads! Always full of flavor and we feel full after finishing our meals. Its quiet, friendly, and a nice place to relax after a long days work. Definitely a good go to spot for a peaceful and healthy end to the day.
Normally a quick place to grab coffee a bagel and out the door. But that was not the case on my last visit. Set aside at least 20min to go through this place. Took 7min to even get my order in, I'm not trying to be late over coffee. So I left without anything and went somewhere else.
Im not a huge fan of Panera. My wife loves the food here. Im not real big on salad. There are 3 items I order here. Flatbread pizza, wild rice soup, and grilled cheese. The problem is the "grilled" cheese. I put these quotes because they no longer grill the sandwich. They no longer have the panini press. So, the grilled cheese is toasted and not grilled. So I no longer get this. Their baked goods are great. Their bread is great and the bagels are great. We will keep coming here because my wife loves it.
Food was good but I had left over you need to pack your food they don't do it for you and prices are expensive not affordable
Food is always good, soup was not very warm. Girl at register was nice but didn't ask about utensils, butter or give us a buzzer. So lots of trips back and forth. Food side wasn't very helpful.
Fewer soups to choose from. This coffee shop is conveniently located right off the West Covina Parkway. It is also behind the West Covina Plaza. Parking is usually easy. It also opens early at 6 am, so if you want to have an early coffee and breakfast, then you can get some fresh bread and other delicious pastries. I looked at the Manu and I realized that there were less soups to choose from. Plus, they canceled the bread choice for the soup, but an apple and chips to choose one. I feel disappointed about this. Plus, there were too many sweet pastries to choose from, instead of mild ones. If you try to loose weight, then this place is certainly not for you.
Haven't been to a Panera in years, we thought we would give it a try. The fellow that took our order was trying to be helpful, but the menu was extremely confusing to all 3 of us. We did make our selections, and then we were shocked at how expensive the lunch was, and this was with no drinks. Our food took a while to make, but it was lunch time. It was perfectly fine, but not at all worth the price
The food is generally healthy and tasty. I enjoy going here often. I love the salad with strawberries, but it's only available in the summer. The following is the reason for a 3 star rating. Something that happened to me was, and is, quite disturbing. One night, I was eating unusually late. They closed at 10:00. I ordered a few minutes before that. As I was eating at 10:07, an employee came to my table and said in a rather unfriendly, cold way, "I just want you to know that we are closed." In other words, get the *!×*😬 out of here! In any other restaurant that I have visited, they NEVER do that. They allow you to finish in peace. Something similar happened to me at the same Panera a couple of years ago. I filed an online complaint, but nothing changed. If you go just before closing, get it to go!
I get it gets busy but it is no reason to be rude to the customers, especially when you won't even let them explain that they are picking up an order your app said was ready 10 minutes ago. Food always bomb but employees could be nicer.
To be fair I used the app just to claim a deal. Ordered the Baja Bowl with chicken. The app explained to me that they were out of tomatoes but I could replace them with something else. (Yes. For an extra charge. I could always add items weather or not they have tomatoes.) The food was ready when I arrived but I took the bowl out and it was the smallest portion of food. You could see the empty space where the tomatoes were supposed to be. At first I thought they forgot to add the chicken but I finally found a couple pieces. They must've ran out of chicken as well. This next comment has more to do with the app then it does with this particular location. There's too many in app offers that pop up. It's a bit deceiving in telling you you can replace items when really it's just telling you you can add extra items for extra charge. I like tipping... no... I LOVE to Tip people for their Good Service. If a waiter is very attentive and friendly I'll give a 30 or 35% tip. What I don't like is a program that asks how much I'd like to tip before I've even received my service. While checking out the app asks how much I'd like to tip. $2 $4 $6 or other amount. It doesn't even give a ,(no tip option). If I love my service I'd rather just leave a cash tip at the location. Now I'm imagining that the reason my portion was so stingy is because I chose the (other amount) option and only gave a dollar for a service I hadn't received yet. Had I tipped more and received the amount of food I received I'd have felt even more disappointed. The food Tasted pretty good and I even enjoyed the slice of baguette that they give with your order but I guess inflation has really affected this location as well because it seemed like they were rationing their bowls. Or maybe they were just running out of more ingredients. It's just too expensive for the amount of food.
I only go there once every 2 to 3 months to see why I dont go there more often. The food was good once we got it but it took a long time for just a salad. There was only one out of 5 cash registers in operation and the line was at least 6 to 8 deep. We had to take the cleanest of the tables because they all needed bussing. The crew was friendly and trying but too few to keep up with the amount of people in the store ! So it will be a while before we return if ever. There's no excuse for this kind of service !
This was my third time visiting this place. I had a sandwich and soup which weren't great but not bad either...just a little bland. The cashier was very nice and helpful. I didn't care for the atmosphere. They play some weird, no-name artist music, at unusually loud levels which made for a poor experience.
Food is good and consistent from restaurant to restaurant. However, the service at this particular Panera is barely polite. I am not saying they have to kiss my behind, but a thank you served without the exasperation wouldn't be remiss. And then there's the food service manager filling a large to-go/catering order of teas and lemonade at our self-service station, taking most of these up with not even an excuse me for making me wait while she took all the tea. We went here a number of times because my mom likes the orange scones and this was my experience every time. Left to my choice, I wouldn't have returned.
It would have been a great experience if it wasn't for the person who took my order. I know we all go through something every now and then but I think we should learn to NOT bring it to our workplace. From the moment she took my order till we finished the transaction, no friendliness whatsoever. She did not say "Good morning". No greeting at all. She was rushing my order. Other crew would usually ask "Would you like to try _____" but not her. Not even a "Thank you" once we finished the order. And what is sad about this is that she's a Team Lead. If she has this type of attitude, what would she teach her subordinates. Anyways, I hope that people learn the true meaning of customer service. Panera's menu prices is not cheap. We spend a good amount of money every time we visit this place. I really hope we experience better customer service in the future.
Largely, this is a location with well trained customer service, amenities, and a variety of fares. Parking is mostly not an issue, it is conveniently located at an intersection with multiple entrances to the lot, which is shared by a variety of shops. However, for some reason, the toilet paper dispenser has been broken for a while, and causing the supposedly sanitary item inside keeps dropping to the floor. With this souped-up bakery, boasting thousands of locations, surely having all the resources to fix it in no time!
Not the most refined Panera location I have been to but the nice customer service makes up for the edgy environment. The food was what you may expect from Panera. Ordered the soup yet there was no option for bread bowl so they paired it with a small baguette. I also ordered a Bear Claw and I overlooked the fact that it might have sat there the entire morning and day yet it looked very appetizing. I have seen much larger pastries at other locations. The big need for improvement here is the dining experience. The restrooms were a mess. The trash over flowed and there wasn't any paper towels. There was no napkins available at the pickup bar. I noticed at least 3 patrons ask for napkins. The trash recepticals in the dining area also needed plenty of attention as plates continued to be stacked as patrons left. Lastly, I feel the posters that present certain Panera food deals diminish the classiness of the cafe. In addition, the ipad for quick ordering also negatively affects the dining experience. These two factors makes it feel more like a fastfood eatery. This location also has a rather large outdoor dining.
What a disappointment, I had my son pick up and chicken noodles soup for my Mom, and all I got was broth. Why even bother selling it if all you were gonna give me was broth! Your soups ain't cheap! So wrong, panera! Next time, just say you are out of soup! Don't be fricken cheap!!!
Poor value for the price. Sandwich was dry, salad had poor presentation. Broccoli-cheddar soup looked and tasted like gruel. Very disappointing, especially because it was so expensive considering the size of the portions.
I ordered through mobile and after I picked up my order was wrong. I got one wrong sandwich and one of my half salads was missing toppings. I'm very disappointed because I'm a regular rewards customer and I like ordering from west covina panera, but I also tried calling to let a manager know and as I was waiting on the phone it hung up on me. So I'm unhappy with that.
Not very good, my chicken soup lacked! Mostly broth. Tasted good, it's just that if you're going to charge people so much, give them there monies worth! It's the norm now, charge high! And skimp on the amount you give.
I always do not have good experience at this particular Panera. One time, they closed the place down (They said it's due to computer system down.) without notifying the customers that ordered ahead. We all lined up in front and waited and waited until finally, someone came out and told us. If they can email us about our order, why couldn't they do the same? Just do email blast. Another time, we ordered 4-5 different kinds of bagels. When we received our order, all were plain bagels. They asked us to come back and they would replace it. Why should we do that? They finally refunded us. Another time, we received only 10 bagels instead of 13 for our baker's dozen. They missed one bagel, may be, but 3? Yesterday, we were going to order the Baker's dozen. We ordered Monday for Tuesday delivery, one whole day ahead, and yet, most every bagels were not available. This is holidays season; they should know better and stock up more ingredients.
So, if you're going to order on the app, and do Rapid Pickup...BEWARE! You see, the app is going to notify you when you're order is ready to go to the Rapid Pickup Area. Additionally, a flat screen TV in the store is going to tell you the same thing. The problem is, this is not where you're supposed to pick up your food. You're supposed to go to the food counter at the back of the store and one of the team members will hand it to you. You see, there's apparently a lot of theft of the orders on the Rapid Pickup Area shelves. In fact the manager on duty on the night of 5/21/24 said there is theft "24/7" (her words). Not sure how that can happen when the place closes around 9pm, but apparently there it does. Anyhow, when I talk to the manager about it, she tells me to go to the counter to get my order. A suggested a simple sign at the Rapid Pickup area to redirect the the customer, who BTW has no idea that thus change at this store is in play, but it seemed like she would only take that suggestion "under advisement". Hope this helps someone from having their food get stone cold while they wait for their food at a place where it's never gonna show up.
This Panera location has an unclean feeling whenever you walk in, which reflects that they don't often clean the tables. Staff service and attitude is pretty poor as well. Either ignore you or give you the feeling like you are asking them to go out of their way to help you with a simple request like can I get a large cup because you guys ran out of them by the check in kiosks. I will be taking my business and sip club membership to other Panera locations.
Ordered grilled cheese on chibatta bread. Easy right, not here. When I received my order I left got home and opened sandwich, where's the cheese???? Had an almost burnt what looked like cheddar cheese. Cheese was so thin you couldn't even taste it. $9.99 for sandwich, at least use some cheese. If u want a decent sandwich do not order from this location. Too bad u can't post pics.
I paid $10 for a "pick 2 deal". Got the Modern Caprese Pannini, and Greek Salad. The salad came with no dressing (not sure if it comes with it, as well) the salad had all of 2 olives and 3 big quartered chunks of tomato and some onion and onion skin, the sandwich was really greasy as well. They were out of the roll I asked for so the girl kept mumbling if I wanted... (Mumbling here) had to ask her 3x to repeat it. -_-. Wouldn't return. I definitely had higher hopes for this today. Lesson Learned.
Girls infront the cashiers not very welcoming . They look like they hate there job
Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. I took a bite of my half sandwich and surprise it tasted like pure bread with lettuce. To my surprise they had put just a little of the chicken salad. The soup was a small cup (fine) but half way filled. If you are looking for customers to keep coming back, good luck, your standards are terrible. It was a simple order to make, how do you explain the poor presentation? This location is a nono to me. I'll drive to Alhambra or South Gate instead.
I had the smokehouse BBQ Chicken sandwich. It was very underwhelming. The bread to meat ratio was way off. Not nearly enough meat. Also, from the name, I was expecting some sort of pulled chicken sandwich. What I got was a little chicken, not enough BBQ sauce, and a lot of bread. Service was great either. I noticed people who ordered after me were getting their food before me. I guess they weren't processing the orders in a first come first serve order.
Waste of time is the experience I had. I think it’s sort of odd that the business will be Open for dining however when I asked if I can use the restroom they didn’t allow. & this is following the fact that they asked if I can cancel my order I placed online because they couldn’t see it on their system as incoming or placed order. Despite my confirmation as well as my card being charged. On top of that I went in uniform(bus driver) & was allowed to use the restroom last week when dining was closed. So Covid restrictions are applied some days except today? As a past manager in the food industry this manager could’ve been a lil more empathetic considering I asked to use restroom after the whole order issue . End rant I guess.
My husband & I attempted to purchase lunch, the girl at the counter didn't want to take our order, she sent us the the kiosk, no one tried to assist a couple seniors!! Would've been much faster since NO one was there) except we subjected to scroll thru the menu while she just stood there / didnt ask if we needed help! So we left we'll eat elsewhere. Worse then the DMV!! ,🤬🤬🤬🤬
Worst place ever. I got there at 635am I was the first one there and the only person they had working in the front was busy with on line orders was told to place order on my own BIG MISTAKE!! 6 people came and left and my order still hasn't been done. I asked how much longer and the answer i got was idk depends Edgar they are doing at 655 am 10 people later i had to cancel my order because they still hadn't started it because they were doing online orders first. Ridiculous..
Extremely rude staff! This location was out of the Autumn squash soup and did not let us know until after the order was placed. My niece went to get our order while I sat at the table. She came back and asked me to go up and ask for a different soup because Autumn squash was out. There was a mix up with the order and they gave me a bag that had a receipt with Autumn squash on it. The girl from behind the counter came out and rudely said I took someone's order. It was quite humiliating and embarrassing that she announced in getting off everyone in the restaurant that I took the order when she gave it to me telling me it was mine. She rolled her eyes and went back behind the counter. Shortly after, another member of the staff came out and told me I took someone else's order. I told him I had no need to steal and took out nothing other than the soup from the bag. I didn't like what they were implying in front of EVERYONE in the restaurant. I told him to take the bag and let him know this was their mistake, NOT mine. I can NOT belive they would accuse their customers of taking an order. I was sitting down sharing lunch with my niece who has bad anxiety issues and this did not help. This is the WORST behavior I have ever recieved from staff.
Took 30 mins to get NY food, then a woman around her 20's was VERY RUDE and made a comment, " why don't you come back and help us then?" Then 2 people laughed at my comment. What ever happened to Customer Service. Took me 15 mins to order, 1 person at register , then took 20 to 30 mins to get food. Won't be back because of Service and them being VERY Rude where you receive food
Last time coming here. Wanted to go somewhere to eat and relax after daughters soccer game. Here st 830 they walked around telling guest 10 min before closing that they will be closing in 10 minutes. So had to rush and eat. People waste their money only to be rushed to eat. SMH. They should be glad they got customers coming in.
It was my first time going to panera in west covina. I was highly disappointed and disgusted. My bread was stale as can be . The pickle was all chupada ,There specialty drinks all needed to be refilled and was so extremely sweet we had to put half water . The tomatoes in the sandwiches were soggy and the peel of it was like plastic I had to keep pulling it out of my mouth since chewing wasn't helping break it down my . The mac and cheese was half filled in the cup and wasn't even warm. The whole restaurant was extremely filthy! Wads of hair all over ! There was trash under majority of the tables and the tables were dirty so I had to clean a table off. There was only teenagers working so maybe that's the issue . Seem like no kind of structure or pride in that store. My family and I will definitely not be returning nobody enjoyed their food and definitely not the environment.
I'm not happy with this place at all, we had a 5 sandwich and 2 salad and 2 soups order, we ordered 2 hours ahead for a 11:15am pick up when we got there we had to wait until 12pm and when we got our order we were short a salad our soups and sandwiches were cold. I've never had such a bad experience with panera bread. I'm very disappointed
They lost my business, today I went in happy to order my favorite Napa Chicken salad sandwich and they told me it was discontinued!!! Was best sandwich and only place I could find it!!! So so disappointing!!!
Tables were dirty. I asked an waitress if the teas and soft drinks were the same price and she said no and explained they were different but the same price. When we ordered we weren't given a electric number. So when our food was ready the same waitress walked around with our food and then returned it back to the counter. A waiter then picked up the same food walked around and called the name on the receipt. He was able to find us. Also, they have no crackers for the soup and I had to ask if they had chips. For 2 cups of soup, 2 half sandwiches and 2 small drinks it came out to $27. Soup was good but sandwich could have been better. Not returning.
The worse Panera I been to. I made my order at 10:44 Am and got to the restaurant around 11:02. I go to pick up my order but was informed by an employee with a pink shirt and a single tattoo on his right arm that they were backed up and I was third on his list. Not a problem, I understand how difficult the food industry is. I decided to just stand and wait near the pickup shelf so I won’t get in their way. I waited for 30 more minutes as I hear him call out the name of every single order. I then decided to ask another employee about my order as a total of 50 mins had gone by since I made it. The employee was kind and goes to look for my order. He finds it on the back shelf. For some strange reason the employee in the pink shirt had put my ready order in the back and it was the only one where he did not call out the name. I don’t understand his motivation for doing this when he saw me there waiting for the entirety of this time and knew my name and order.
I love Panera, just not my experience today! I was eager and looking forward to enjoying my Mac & cheese sandwich. And while doing my order I asked "is that 4 sandwiches?" (In assurance) This girl answered back with an attitude and a smart mouth. All she had to answer was yes or no. Wait, That's not all. My Mac & cheese sandwich was missing. Not happy. I been cooking and making tamales for 2 days after long hours of work and 2 hour traffic. Can i just get break with good customer service and my right order please. . Who ever did her wrong before me thank you. I took the punch for you. Life is though. I know. But learn to appreciate what you have know. We are in a pandemic. Appreciation to one and other is the minimum we can do. Unless you want robots.
My sister and I had lunch yesterday, we both ordered the same meal Asian salad and bowl of broccoli soap. After we left we both started to fell sick, diarrhea and throwing up. Never again Panera.
The workers act like it’s their first day on earth and constantly get my order wrong.
Do NOT buy cookies from Panera Bread. The are not fresh and are getting smaller in size for the same price. They always tell us the cookies are fresh when we ask. They are not. Just bought some and they were hard and stale. These people are not honest. This has happened many times. Will shop somewhere else.
I have been a loyal customer for 15 years I have seen 5 GM come and go this new GM has a long beard hair that he does not cover when he is handling food Jewish practice all ways cover their head and beard hair when handling food and one of his staff members made a decision to say that I said something to her that was inappropriate which is false I only said to her to check out my Tik Tok page because I was proud of her work she got promoted I was going to post on my page her with her approval she took it the wrong way
Bad experience 09/01. Went there to try this location for my very first time at around 8pm. The register clerk was not welcoming, in fact, she seems exhausted and annoyed helping customers. I didn’t want to eat an entire loaf of bread so she offered to sell me two slices, so I ordered that and cream cheese. She sighed in frustration with a mouth gesture added to it. I also ordered coffee, she gave me the cup. Out of 6-7 coffee dispensers, only one had COLD coffee. I asked an employee in the lobby, he said he’ll refill it, that never happened. Waited for a while on a dirty table for my order. Then got called by the associate behind the order dispatch counter, whose supervisor was next to her, to pick up my bread order. I asked her if she could warm up my coffee or provide me with new hot coffee. She being next to her supervisor told me she was too busy to help me. I asked for a refund and left to never come back again. Not a big expensive order is true but still got very disappointed with their service and attitude from the moment I walked in.
They always toast my bagels when I ask them not to when ordering online. The bagel always come out too hard and dry to eat. I’m already home or work when I realize it and can’t drive back. I will no longer be spending my money here.
This has to be one of the worst restaurants and establishments I’ve ever been to. Over the course of 4 months of attending the restaurant, I’ve seen how degrading that building and the service as become towards the customers. Here are some of the issues wrong with this Panera location: -Unsanitary Conditions: It’s apparent that the building is several years old with how the carpet inside being completely filthy. On top of this the management inside isn’t on top of keeping the building clean with regular sights of dirt, food, crumbs, napkins and more all seen in the ground. At multiple tables on the ground these types of trash are common. -Long waiting times for food: Another common trend found is the long waiting times for food. I’ve witnessed first hand of how some customers have waited up um 30 minutes for a single soup or sandwich. What makes this worse is when you ask one of the employees about your food, they respond back with an aggressive and disrespectful manner back to you. On top of the waiting time, the food is overpriced for what you get. An entire meal that includes a sandwich, soup and a drink costs as much as 2 whole sandwiches from Porto’s that can feed up to 4 people. -Dirty Bathrooms: the bathrooms inside are always filthy. The floors are covered with black stain marks from customer but from homeless people especially. There can be paper towels on the ground, toilet paper, sink water, toilet water, even hairs (as seen in the sink photo) and more. And the bathrooms are like this the entire day until when the restaurant closes at 9 where employees lazily dragged an old mop to “clean” the floors. -Homeless People: a number of homeless people roam around inside of the Panera location. This includes a gentleman who lives inside of 2 cars that are regularly parked within the parking lot of the Panera. He has a goatee and long white hair on top of always wearing sunglasses while also always sitting in the sitting area past the self serve drinks area inside. What makes this individual stand out more is how he sprouts out conspiracy theories on COVID-19 and Donald Trump while also having been kicked out the restaurant before in the past (although the next day, he easily comes back in with no involvement from the staff whatsoever). Then there’s a Asian American homeless woman who brings her entire cart inside of the building and spend large days on end inside of the building. There have been at times where she has fallen asleep at one of the tables with no saying from the manager John or any of the employees (even though this is supposed to be a family restaurant and not a homeless shelter). Her cart is in one of the photos included in the review. Another thing that these homeless people do inside is that there have been cases where they’ve have stolen other customers food !!! They wait for when Jon (the MANAGER) is distracted along with other employees and they take the food right off the counter inside. They also take the plastic cups that are reserved for laying customers inside without any intervention from the employees inside. Overall I would highly recommend going to a different restaurant for any types of meals in the surrounding areas or cities. Not only is this restaurant riddled with homeless people that make eating inside uncomfortable but goes against the image of family friendly that Panera strives for. Long waiting times for food, overpriced food, dirty bathrooms, dirty floors, and more all await if you plan on visiting this Panera location. If you ever want to file a complaint against management, look for the manager named John. He has a black bread and typically wears flannel style shirts inside.
