Such a great dinner at The Yellow Deli in Coxsackie! Everything we ordered was really well made and absolutely delicious. The service was amazing — super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of good vibes. Just an all-around lovely experience. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

Stopped here after a quick Google search about halfway home driving from VT to PA. What a lucky find!! Fantastic food, nice service, and wonderful view out to the Hudson. Saved this one to stop again on future trips like this one that we do annually.

I first saw the yellow deli as a reel on social media describing it as a good experience "even though it's a cult." Regardless of its beliefs, I was captivated by the aesthetics and mood of the restaurant. We were visiting a neighboring town and made it a point to stop here. It did not disappoint. The first thing you'll notice at the beginning, through the duration, and we'll after the meal is done is the friendliness. From beginning to end, these people were far too kind in every way. And it wasn't an annoying level of positivity; it was genuine enthusiasm for their workplace. Next it the look of the joint. It's consistent all throughout, including the bathroom. It started in the 70s and really maintains the style of that era. Simple, clean, warm, and brown (and yellow). Very comforting. Lastly, the food. It's simple and done well. We went for breakfast and ordered several items, delighted by all of it. When we got the bill, we were happy to see how incredibly affordable all of it was. Lots of places will have the bill up around $50. Our bill was a very friendly $25. We bought a mug on the way out. Mugs are unique to each location. We look forward to visiting other locations in the future.

Extremely charming spot by riverside park. The owners are so welcoming that I felt like I was personally invited to eat there. Prices are very reasonable. It is well worth a special trip just for the views, but the food was tasty too, and they made me feel special, so 5 stars all around!

Coxsackie has the most charming people in all the world and several of them work here! Came here on a recommendation and the food was deeply scrumptious and the back porch was a dream. Just how good can a sandwich be? Come here and find out!

We came here for lunch today and we're warmly welcomed with such hospitality. Such a relaxing and laid back crowd, and atmosphere! The food was delicious as well as their coffee. We'll definitely be back when in the area, definitely recommend for anyone passing through, the whole nostalgia of the place is enough for 5 stars. Thank you for such a relaxing experience!

We sat by the wood stove and ate delicious sandwiches with delicious hot drinks. I took my bestie for her birthday and they even sang & brought a cherry almond muffin with a candle. We can't wait to go back. We bought baked goods to go when we left and enjoyed them the next day.

The staff was very friendly and informative. When we told them we had never been there before, we were given samples of their different teas/mattes. I had never tried this before and ended up ordering a mango matte. I also ordered the spinwhich. It was great. We were seated on the back covered patio with great views.

Hands down THE BEST FOOD, PLACE & PEOPLE. It was lovely chatting with them and learning so much about them & from them. I’ve never had such amazing fresh, natural food like that in years! The entire family & staff are the kindest and they are so happy with what they do and it really shows through their smiles and food. I will be coming back again very soon & can’t wait to tell everyone about this place !! Still drooling over that veggie burger 😍

Everything was wonderful! The service was great. I loved chatting. The Yerba mate tea! I could have sat and drank twenty more. They had lots of different flavors and all the ones I tried were delicious! They have a back area to sit and look at the water too! Will be back!

This place is THE BEST. Hands down. It’s so small and cozy inside. They are so very kind. The food is homemade and fresh. The apple cider is SO GOOD! They are very genuine. Check out the paintings on the walls.

I don't get to come to yellow deli often but when I do the food is always fresh and delicious. My server was so sweet and I appreciated all her help. I sadly forgot her name but she was wonderful and made sure I had everything I need. I will definitely visit one more time before the winter season begins 😊😊😊

So much more than a deli - at least when compared to NYC delis! The Yellow Deli is more like a visit to a time long before… fresh, ‘farm to table’ food without the high price tag! Everyone who greeted us or served us did so with a smile. We enjoyed every second we spent there and the food was absolutely top notch! The soup of the day was Butternut Squash - and when I asked if it was homemade they said ‘yes and we grew the squash ourselves!’ The pride in what they’re doing shines thru every morsel! I will be back - again and again!!

Wow! This place is a must visit when you're in town. I forgot to ask if this place is family owned. The food was absolutely delicious & you can tell they put their hearts in to it! We enjoyed everything. The sandwiches, the smoothies, carrot cake, the waffle was all perfect! Oh, they are super clean. They sanitized & wiped the table, the chairs, the condiments after the customers leaves, ready for the next one! The bathroom smells great & well kept. Glad we found this place! The view of the Hudson River is amazing! Keep up the good work! God bless you & keep you all safe!

Beautiful interior, friendly staff, delicious healthy reasonably priced food. Gift section with herbal and medicinal teas, handmade soaps. Our favorite place to eat and gather with friends and family. Love the folk music that greats you as you enter the front door. Pics of my mother enjoying a bottle of root beer and beautiful flowers growing next to the parking area this summer.

What a find, took a red eye out and these folks welcomed me in and didn’t bat an eye as I ordered breakfast and lunch. They welcomed me to join them again and I found this group to be super friendly with great hand crafted food. This quaint cafe is at times the only place to get a breakfast or lunch in the historic section of Coxackie, It was very busy when I visited and -30 minute wait for sandwiches. It was a long wait but staff was gracious, I also enjoyed the folk music and rustic decor. I dine out frequently and have to say that this was one of the best pastrami sandwiches that I have had in a long time.
