Avis sur Amarone Kitchen & Wine West Hollywood
The ambience is refined and inviting. The owner is very welcoming toward guests and makes sure everyone is enjoying their meal. This is an ideal spot for a peaceful and enjoyable dinner with loved ones. The Gnochi alla Sorrentina was quite exquisite and grows on the palette the more you bite into it. The cheese on it is the most notable. The tiramisu is good as well.
Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with my brother and niece. It was our first visit to Amarone and we were so pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly service we received from our waitress Mia and also the management who stopped by to check in with us during our meal. The food was delicious and the experience even better 😊 🍕 🇮🇹 ❤️
If you are anywhere in Los Angeles or on a vacation this is a must stop and a hidden gem in West Hollywood. You will have the best Italian food in all of Hollywood and maybe the City. There is not one thing wrong with this place. It is perfect. You will be in heaven. You will be calm and relaxed while served by the best staff and the owner is cute as a button, and Italian. It was concert night for Buddy, my grandson, and I and we were in search of a new fine dining restaurant. We were driving down Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and Buddy sees this little tiny Brown building and says let's look. He sure knows how to pick them. Turns out to be an Italian restaurant with everything made from scratch, no preservatives, no sugar, just amazing food. They even make their own bread. We walked in, parking is on the street and they might have valet at night, I don't know. We were the first ones there. They were not even open yet, but we did not know and we walked in. The sweetest, most adorable young man asked us where we would like to sit. The place is so pretty, but small. We told him to put us where ever he wanted. We were starting to realize the place was just about to open. The waiter took us upstairs to the most wonderful table near a window. He asked what we might want to drink and gave us menus. Their menu is not huge. Again, they make everything from scratch. We were brought warm Italian bread and it was so great. I asked about it and they make it right there as they do everything. It was amazing. For entrees we had ravioli and a wonderful pasta filled with shrimp, clams and mussels in a red sauce. It was so great, my grandson was "sharing" my food. Again, all made there, to order, by scratch. For dessert we had the best Tiramisu I have ever had in my life. As the place began to fill I could see wonderful dishes going by. The waiter was kind to my grandson and gave us all the time we wanted. It was just a wow experience and I have been to most of the Italian places in Hollywood. I can't wait to bring my husband. He is going to love it. On the way down the stairs an adorable man took my check and card. It turned out he is the owner. He is Italian and all of these receipts are his. I think he might have "borrowed" a little from his grandmother and mother and added some of his own. I could tell he loved his little fine dinning place. He was so sweet--photo attached. You must go there. You just must.
Perfect for date night! The food was amazing, drinks were good and dessert was out of the world Surprisingly they don't have any chicken option so that was a bummer but nonetheless they have enough option to still enjoy Their tiramisu is best I have had so far, definitely worth trying
Cozy and intimate. Very nice place. Heaters to keep warm and it was all very tasty. I had a great time and would definitely go back
Little, cozy Italian on Sunset Blvd. We got arugula salad, beef carpaccio, bolognese, and shrimp spaghetti. Everything tasted really good, including the bread!
Best meal I've had in years. Superb wine. Jovial intimate atmosphere, like being at a friend's house, whose wife is a 5 star chef. It's pretty small so reservations are highly encouraged. Pro Tip: For an even more intimate feeling ask to sit upstairs. Buon appetito!

Had a wonderful dinner here with my husband. All the good food, drinks, and wonderful service.
Solid 5 stars! It's definitely got a friendly neighborhood vibe with fabulous food and excellent service. The owner (Sandro) popped by the table a few times and made sure everything was perfect for us. Prices are reasonable for that area, especially given how good the food was. We will definitely be back again!
A calm and quiet place for a special occasion, but also for a peaceful meal with someone special. 11/22/25 My second visit and it was just as calm, delicious and pleasant as the first. Sandro, the owner, gave my friend and I some of his time to talk, just as he had on our first visit. My friend dropped their knife and immediately she was brought a clean one. This attention to the customer is what makes Amarone a restaurant of note. I'm sure I will be back.
Everything was amazing from the bread and olive oil at the start, to the caprese salad. I had the panna cotta for dessert and it was the best dessert I’ve ever had I can’t recommend it enough. The prices were amazing for the quality of food you got. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Delicious Italian food! Highly recommend this gem. Menu is well priced and a great experience all around. Restaurant is well suited for date night or family night out. Gnocchi Pesto was delicious! Can I rave about a salad??? The Pear Gorgonzola salad was so satisfying. We ended with the Flourless Chocolate cake. OMG! I have never had a Flourless cake that was this light. Kudos to Sandros (owner)! Definitely warrants a return visit the next time we are in West Hollywood!
First time visit and wasn't sure what to expect. Cozy environment with a helpful staff. AMAZING tiramisu with some amazing pasta. Overall, had a great experience for a very decent price. I will be returning for date night.
My friends and I recently visited Amarone Kitchen and Bar and it, as always, exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant which is perfect for both a casual diner and a special occasion. The menu had a lot of choice and the food was absolutely delicious, especially port milanese and a seafood appetizer. The owner, Sandro, was there to greet everyone. He is very friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The prices were very affordable as well. Overall, Amarone is a true gem. Whether you are looking for a romantic event, a family gathering, or just a great mea, this place delivers on every level. I can't wait to come back!
Vibe of a family restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty, being coocked with a touch of the chef. Main dishes are not big, so don't count on sharing.

An absolutely outstanding dinner. The service here is top notch from busser to server to bartender, the food is to die for, & the atmosphere is very nice while still feeling comfortable. We celebrated my boyfriends 29th here and had calamari, pear salad, & two pasta dishes. Before we left 3 staff checked in with us to ask how everything was. Traditional italian - you wont regret stopping here! Thank you for making our night so special.
The owner greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home in the small, cozy atmosphere. The dessert was fantastic and I highly recommend trying it.

I visited Amarone expecting a nice evening, but the server was incredibly rude. It's hard to enjoy your meal when the staff treats you poorly
I am baffled by the 5-star reviews. The owner/manager was condescending, brusque, and rude; the food was mediocre. It was fine -- not good, not bad (which is pretty damning) -- just your average red pasta sauce that could have been from a bottle with pasta (that mercifully was not overcooked). Take that theme and add sausage, eggplant, shrimp, whatever -- there you have a big chunk of the menu. It was noisy; pounding from the kitchen was heard throughout dinner. I was being "treated" to this place as a birthday dinner, but we all were eager to get out as soon as possible. We didn't want to bother with any kind of celebratory dessert because it was so unpleasant to be there. (Happy Birthday to me -- ha.) I certainly will never go back because once was more than enough.
Went last night with my girlfriend. Food was not terrible but way overpriced. The owner, however, was a nightmare! He kept coming to our table and trying to push expensive bottles of wine on us and had a very creepy vibe. The worst part was that he was super disrespectful with his employees and even berated them in front of the diners when they seemed to be doing a great job. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.
The food at Amarone wasn't bad, but the server's disrespectful attitude ruined the experience. I won't be returning
