This place is pretty good . A little high for people with kids, on a budget. But worth the money. And the guys that run the place are so nice. Drop in and see them... You won't be sorry...

Fresh chicken l, served us at the table, great set up for condiments, paper plates, napkins, drinks full access for refills, where was this gem? We pass Winnie to go to Galveston and passed a diamond in the rough. Even has the option of a salad bar! Great experience. We we’re hungry with elderly great grandparents and grandchildren

Awesome all around. We've ate their buffet to take out orders. Chicken tenders and the gizzard are to die for. Always friendly atmosphere, they couple that runs it is amazing, always checking on you and very polite.. Must visit

I came here all the time sometimes during lunchtime and some in the evenings. The employees were very friendly. If y’all come in at the right time, especially during lunchtime, they will have everything coming out fresh for you. For those folk out there who like gizzards/liver just like me, whenever you come in here and you feel like the gizzard /liver were not fresh then you can feel free to request they to cook it fresh for you it probably takes about 7min to get everything fresh for you like those fish, gizzard, liver, chicken tender. Don’t forget to come to check this place out!!!

Good people and good prices make it a good place to eat sum chicken,. We stopped by for dinner and I must admit that we had a good experience, place was clean and a bit quiet, the restrooms were in good shape at the time of our visit, what else can you expect for that price Only bad thing about it is that there were no lights on the parking lot and it made the place hard to spot from the road, for someone new/driving by the area it appears to be closed since we couldn't really see it from the road, but other than that I honestly believe that it is a good place to eat.

Picked up 12 piece meal to go. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Good crispy chicken. Tasty coleslaw and the yummy rolls were excellent.

It's a self-serve buffet with all you can eat homemade food. The food is pretty decent for the cost and the buffet includes a drink free refills. It's $8.99 plus tax for the buffet including drink. I didn't have to really wait when I went in.

I always love harts. If they dont habe what you want on the buffet the manager normally will make you what your looking for. #1 chicken tenders around. Sorry kfc. If you havent had harts i highly suggest you try it at least once

Price was good, I only ordered fried gizzards and livers. They were hot and fresh but no flavor definitely needed the dipping sauces

Been to several other Hartz locations and been satisfied, but not this location. Asked lady behind the counter before ordering the buffet how much a 5 year old and 7 year old would be, an was told $4.99 and $5.99, but was charged $6.99 each when the young man rang us up. Went to register to get clean buffet plates and was ignored by the young man behind the counter. He had ear buds in his ears, and was busy on his phone, and totally ignored me. Another employee finally came to the register and handed me clean plates. Food was decent, but except for one female employee who was friendly and helpful, service from most of the others was awful.

This was not like the other Hartz I’ve gone to. This buffet was not good it was over cooked and tasted like all the fried stuff was cooked in very old grease. I definitely would not recommend was not worth the money spent.

Employees were great!!! Wish I could say the same about the food. They had murder crime scenes on the TV while we ate. Crackers smelt terrible.

Went in ,the first thing we see behind counter is an employee with his flip flop off picking his toes. As far as I could see(believe me I watched his every move)he only operated the soft serve machine

Came from out of town. Ate at this restaurant and it was the worst food I've ever tasted. They fry their fish and chicken in the same oil everything including the rolls tasted like fish. Horrible service waited 15 mins for my food in the drive through. The guy couldnt hardly speak english he couldnt understand what I was asking for. Never again!

No star if I could. The cashier and cook acts retarded and wasn't rushing to take our order after we been standing for 5 mins already. Tried to give me mashed potatoes with old gravy that was sticking to the pan and crusty looking and the jalapeno looked like a pickle

WORST BUFFET EVER!!!THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE... Chiken wasn't done, liver was very hard and dry. And when i asked him for dessert he said they didn't have anymore. Kids with any type of customer skills is so bad for business. Someone please do something about it.

What a dive. Food was very lack luster. Employees seemed upset we interrupted their youtube watching. Had to ask to have food from the buffet replaced because there was none left. The catfish was cold the chicken was hot but had no flavor it was deep fried chicken with flour batter no seasoning in the batter that we could taste. The rice was dried up into a ball the potatoes had a dried crust on top of them. The worst was there were 4 or 5 dirty tables and the staff had their noses deep in their phones or laptop. I was disgusted. A manager is desperately needed in the winnie location along with a deep deep scrubbing of the restaurant. I would not be suprised if this location is closed within a year.

Semi truck driver parked at JP truck/Gulf stop. Walk in the door and 🐀 ran across in front of the Buffet I'm GOOD!!! Goggle you can take this review down if you want however you'd be doing people a disservice.

They so cheap with everything. Ask for extra butter because i order extra rolls gave me exactly 2 butter. With no ketchup with my 3 piece chicken. Its ridiculous

If I could give it a negative star I would. I witnessed first hand the guy working there pouring returned gravy from a costumer back into the buffet dish. There food is the worst. All watered down and hormone chicken wholesale. I bet anything the Hart’s chain doesn’t know what there doing in this GOD forsaken restaurant. Do yourself a favor and pass it by.

I found many pieces of long black hair in my food. There has been no dessert every time I went for months. No drink menu. They got my order wrong. Absolutely the worst place ever in town.

When I asked why they are so small, they said it was their normal buffet catfish, I have been going in ever since they opened, so I know that is not the way it used to be. It used to be strips about the same size as the chicken tenders. The milk gravy was all milk and no gravy. I was so disappointed I would have walked out if I had not already paid. When I asked to talk to the manager or owner I was treated very rudely. I asked for a phone number and the only one offered was for the store and they told me the could not give me any other number. Finally after much discussion the wrote down a number and gave it to me. I've called and left a message. If they call back and things change, I will update my review. Otherwise I will not be back and the $700 per year will go to other places that actually care.

I believe the health dept really needs to investigate this location. We won’t be going back ever, and hope to be fully refunded. They are welcome to have their food back. I would NOT recommend this Hartz Chicken buffet location to anyone.
