Avis sur Empanada & Co. Winter Garden
The staff and food are top notch. I’m always greeted with a smile and the team goes out of their way to make sure my experience is the best. I love the Cuban, Picadillo and Chicken Cheese Empanadas. I also noticed the size portion of the food has gotten bigger for the same price and I love that.
One of the cheapest and quickest eats inside the Plant St Market, Empanada & Co. offers a few varieties of fresh made empanadas with 3 optional sauces: hot, mild, and cilantro/garlic. I tried two empanadas: the cheese and shredded chicken and the plantains and chicken with the cilantro side sauce. The plantain/chicken empanada was not my cup of tea - I'm not a fan of sweet main foods, but it was definitely different and worth a try. The cheese and chicken was delicious - stuffed with shredded chicken and paired well with the cilantro sauce for a nice meal. I also love that you can grab a table and scan the QR code on the table top to put in an order here. You will receive a text when it's ready to be picked up at the counter.
Juan delivers an exceptional empanada straight from the heart to your mouth!! Delicious every time! If you are in Winter Garden hit Empanada and Company! The Cuban is the best ever! The empanada shell is baked perfect. The blend of ham, pork, cheese pickle is off the charts! The sweet plantain and cheese leaves you asking how can anyone else compete!
Really good freshly made Empanadas. A must stop when visiting Plant St Market. Juan is just an enthusiastic, passionate owner that shines through his business.
Came to the Plant Street Market a little bit ago to explore and see what was good. One of the things in this world I rarely ever turn down is a glass case full of scrumptious looking empanadas. I saw them and instantly went in for one. It was so long ago, and I don't remember what fillings were in mine, but that's not what matters! What matters is that it was a very good empanada. It was a decent size, about the size of a hand. It was super crisp, and not made soggy by the fillings within. It was stuffed to the brim. Sometimes, you bite into one, and it's mostly air, like the inside of a chip bag, but not these. You get the bang for your buck here. And I remember that I had no complaints with the seasoning or flavor of the fillings. Overall, very good. I would come back to this empanada if I came back to this market, that's for sure.
Freshly baked empanadas, tasty flavorful and wonderfully prepared. Take a gander over to Plant Street and make sure to stop by for an empanada!
This is my daughter’s favorite place in all of winter garden ! They make their food fresh and are so friendly !! The Cuban empanadas are the absolute best !! You need to eat here !
If you do anything at all downtown Winter Garden it should be stopping HERE for the most delicious empanadas! They have me in a chokehold!!! Simply the best. You won’t be disappointed! Props to Manuel!! Thank you!!!
I enjoy supporting local business they bring back the meaning of community. The sales person Cearo, had a great personality. The beef & pico de gallo, Cheese & sweet plantain, cheese and chicken was all good.
Can’t say enough about this amazing place. The staff is always so friendly and inviting. They always have freshly made product. The best part about it is that they’re always hand made and fresh. They’re a great addition to winter gardens food scene.
To die for! These were some of the best empanadas I’ve ever had! I ordered the Cubano (absolute must try) and the beef. I wish they had more to try but by the time I got there only 3 flavors were available. They came with an option of 3 sauces, unfortunately I can’t remember their names but the whiteish yellow one is the best.
By far the best empanadas around. The Cuban empanadas are ridiculously good. The green sauce they come with could be eaten by itself- it’s that good.
Yum! Beef Picadillo, plain, because it tasted so delicious on its own! Served hot and with a smile. Thank you!

Juan was amazing! Customer service A1 and the food even better!
The Cuban empanadas were amazing! Having eaten in a lot of good Cuban spots from Miami to Union City, NJ, I highly recommend them!!!
Very light and crispy. Different than heavier dough people might be used to. I couldn't make up my mind and the young lady helping me (I think her name is Ana) gave great recommendations. My husband loved the cilantro sauce with the Picadillo filling that she said paired well. Such a good experience with friendly staff and great food.

Limited on what they make, and BEWARE the beef empanada has vegetables inside. The chicken and cheese was a better and only option
Chicken empanadas are delicious! They are cheesy and well seasoned. The beef empanada was not our favorite, it needed more seasoning and not too sure what’s mixed with the beef. We had to try them but we will stick with the chicken next time. Very friendly staff member, multitasking and still smiling and acknowledging the customer!

Went last week. Tried almost all the empanadas. Coming from an empanada lover:they are “ok”. I have had better. They are baked, and to my personal preference when you fry empanadas the dough tastes better and is crispier. The guava and cheese was totally not something I will eat, I couldn’t even try it, by smelling it, it smelled like cream cheese and a little bit of guava. My husband and son tried it and they didn’t like it. Plus, it’s not that attractive to the eyes. The ground beef one is over seasoned. Too much cumin or something too strong I couldn’t pin point what it was. The Cuban one, didn’t taste like anything in particular. I could t tell what was ham and what was pork, never saw a pickle in mine, Although my son says he did. I’m Cuban, this is far from a Cuban sandwich. No flavor. The chicken one was ok. Not anything I would go back for because I’m craving. The guy at the counter was nice, giving 5 stars for service and atmosphere as the market is cute to walk around, and the food options are good.

Super good food, but the cashier stole a dollar from me when I paid cash. She said the system wouldn't let her give me correct change. I was going to tip anyway so I let it slide rather than argue. Pisses me off tho.

Expensive and not good. Really bad, actually. At almost $6 an empanada, I was expecting something a little better and the raving reviews must be from people who can't cook and/or don't know what good food tastes like. The dough is dry and the picadillo filling was the worst one - tasted and smelled of pet food. We also tried their chicken, and the cheese-guava which were also not good. It's like they mix a tiny bit of guava flavor with a strange pasty textured cheese filling and it's an unpleasant mouth-feel. And after spending over $32 on the empanadas, I was still charged for the 2 mediocre sauces that I thought the girl was offering when she asked "any sauces?" during my purchase. That's just business I guess, but very bad business if you ask me. It was just an overall bad experience regarding the food not meeting realistic expectations when purchasing food. If you know good empanadas, definitely don't waste your money on this.

Walked in excited to try from.previous reviews. Walked up to the counter looking in the glass for empanada options and flavors. There was a gentleman behind the counter whom did not speak or even acknowledge our presence! He went to the register and stood there. We spoke first and was returned a "very dry" hello back! We asked questions and were given 1 word answers. Needless to say he didn't seem too happy with the color of our skin. I'll leave it at that!
