I have always liked this location. It's kind of by itself (no gas station or etc nearby) so any riffraff stays away. The drive-thru is a bit squeezy and tough to enter when it's busy.

Good food. If you haven't yet, try their Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger. It's about $7 but you will enjoy this burger. Try it for yourself because " if it doesnt get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face!"

This restaurant has a new "Beyond Meat" veggie burger that tastes really good! The hamburger meat patty in the "Star" hamburger is substituted with the veggie patty. First time I tried it, I had a regular bread bun & it tasted good. Tonight I had the "protein wrap" which is just wrapped with lettuce. Taste really great, but super messy! 👍👍☺

Consistently fresh burgers made well with their famous charbroil grill flavor. My go to is the famous star while my husband's tends to be the breakfast burger and son's the California burger. Yum, Yum! Fries are just okay.

The beyond burger is delicious! This location is always really good about giving us hot and fresh food. However, we have only been here 6 times total and 2 out of those 6 times, they got my husband's order wrong. He always gets the beyond western bbq burger with no cheese but instead they gave us the beyond famous star with no cheese twice now. It's not that big of a deal, he still ate it but it's not what we ordered and he doesn't like to eat mayonnaise which comes on the beyond famous star if you don't ask them not to put it. They have gotten my order right every time so far though. The crisscut fries are always delicious! And the lady that does the speaker for the drive thru is always thorough and knows the menu well. I'm giving them 4 stars because the food is always hot and fresh even though they messed up our order a couple of times.

It's Carl's, how much can you say? Convenient location, quick drive through, they get our order correct. The "Local Deal" (advertised on their door facing Live Oak Canyon Rd) is a good purchase.

Carl's is one of those franchises where every store usually delivers product consistency. My wife and I tried their fried chicken sandwich, using a discount coupon for two... sauce on the side. Mine was great. Hers was noticeably more salty and a little too much for her. I'll have to try another at some future date, to see if it happens again. I tried the sauce, and could go either without or sparingly.

Their char-broiled burgers are delicious.. Except for the beyond meat patties. I was initially unaware that it was a vegan option and immediately regret accepting the cashier's recommendation on my first bite. Jalapeno poppers are quite delectable. Always fast, friendly service in my experience.

It's Carl's Jr. The menu is standard issue and lives up to its corporate standards. Nothing to get excited about . Parking is good, bathroom need a good scrub , lighting needs to be freshend up, but over all good for a cup of coffee. One day these fast food chains may become no longer standard issue because of places like Chipotle.

This CJs location is really hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, other times not great. The food generally tastes OK, but I've had a lot of mistakes on my orders over the years. I think what bothers me the most is the pricing game they play. If you don't pay attention, you end up paying more for your food based on how you say it. With 1-2 exceptions, I've had to instruct the cashier on how I want to order to get the lower price, even though the food I get is exactly the same. This difference can be up to 30-40%. Pay attention.

The slowest drove through always and not very pleasant employees. I usually avoid Carls because of this. Over 20 minutes to get chicken stars for my daughter. Ridiculous! Especially since only one car was ahead of us. Empty drive though and way too long to wait with a drive through you can’t get out of

Hit and miss when it comes to food coming out right and timely , regardless yesterday was the first time I experienced a rude employee over having to use the restroom , I DoorDash frequently and used to buy snacks there easy to grab and go continue on with deliveries I understand company policies as it's restrooms for customers only , I would have been fine purchasing a drink to use restroom but the lady was so rude just made it unpleasant (my apologies for asking) this was around 6:40 yesterday and I was waiting on an order to be done to be delivered for Doordash the lady did not have a name tag on but was Latin/Hispanic , I will not be asking to use restroom again nor purchasing my food to go , they are being paid for customer service not to be rude , I have always been polite at the store even when food is running late for delivery for Doordash which by way interrupts my pay as I get paid per delivery not hr. 3 stars are for the other employees there and hopefully she's work nicer with them .

The computer taking the order has to go!!! Since the employees can't hear the order being taken they cannot start the food until the computer tells them what to make, and when I was there it took the computer 3 minutes AFTER we pulled up to the second window to finally spit out our order. The computer not only got half the order wrong, but it slowed the entire process down by at least 5 minutes. I've been coming to this location since it opened, and never had a less that 5 star experience until they started using a computer to take the place of an actual human. The only reason I scored my experience as high as I did, is because every team member stepped it up to compensate for how messed up an experience the computer made things from the very beginning. To the owners: if you don't go back to an entirely human staff, you are going to drive away every one of your customers. And we won't come back

It's hard to believe someone wants$15.00 an hour and can't put 4 burgers 2 fries and a chicken finger in a bag when you're the only customer there. Worst yet didn't even apologise when I had to go back for my cold fries. If I ever go back I will go to Calimesa.😤😠😡🤬

Update: Absolutely do NOT like the automated speaker box to order in the drive thru. It takes forever to respond when asking questions and half the time it is wrong. It's frustrating and not necessary, when I get to the window the workers are just standing around. Why is there an automated system if that is the case?!?! Not sure what it is, but the breakfast here I never have an issue with my order. Ordering lunch or dinner, last visit I had to go back to the restaurant 3 times! By the time it was corrected my food that was initially correct was cold and they did nothing to compensate for their multiple errors. Will not being going back. Rather go to the one in Calimesa!

I've tried to eat here several times but they can't seem to decide which hours they will use I've shown up 30 minutes before closing and they are always closed. The other night (Thursday) I got there at 10:30 and the two ladies in the restaurant just kept staring over at the drive-thru. I assumed they were working their way over but after 5 minutes - nothing. How about just walking over to say they closed early? They should just post that they close between 10:20 - 10:35 instead of 11.

Lastly, management decided that the ($4.50) onion rings should be cooked in oil that had previously cooked fish. I have noticed that as prices have skyrocketed, staffing has been drastically reduced. And as a result of that, quality has plummeted. This experience is not limited to this store. It evident in every Carl's store I've visited post-Covid. I've kept returning, hoping that each experience would bring back the original delight in the Bacon Western Cheeseburger experience. I give up.

This is the worst Carl's Jr I've ever been to. Never receive my complete order in the drive thru. Either my burger will have 2 bottom buns or the buns are hard. The burger is never put together right, everything is always coming out of it. I'll drive to Redlands or Beaumont to get Carl's Jr which is horrible since there's one here

This is a great place to eat if you aren't sure on what you want to eat because you won't get what you wanted in the first place. Between put in wanted stuff on the burger or leaving stuff out of your order completely. Definitely a bag of surprises with this place. And then they are rude about it too.

Seems every other time I get food through your drive-thru. I never received my complete order. The receipt doesn't even outline what you charged me for. I called the phone number provided and cannot get an answer after 50 calls. so tired of your substandard service and thievery

This is the 4th time in 2 months that we go to this Carl's and come home with the wrong order. I am definitely writing a letter to your corporate office. I stopped going 6 months ago for the same reason, I am just wondering if your employees know how to reed or enter orders? Worst part of it, is if you dare to go back, watch out from the people in charge, they will fight you tooth and nail. I even dissected my hamburger in front of the manager, showing her there was no buffalo, nor blue cheeses, and she still didn't want to refund me my money. This place is the type that will spit in your food, watch out. Next time I will drive the distance to go somewhere else. RIDICULOUS!!!! I should have listened to all the people that warned me about them.

BEWARE! If you are going to use a coupon at the drive thru do NOT tell them til you get to the window. The BOGO on breakfast burritos will be a HUGE rip off. They have two sizes. The bogos are half the size, so you get exactly the same quantity of food either way. NOT A DEAL if you tell them at the order board. Both burritos combined were way smaller than one the Epic at Del Taco

Ordered a western bacon cheeseburger. Came all the way home to Redlands to find out they gave me a Santa Fe chicken sandwich. Is it really that hard to get a single order right?

This place sucks. Got my order wrong and then gave me attitude. Worker just grabbed the sandwich and threw it hard into the trash. Dont go to this place. Spent $30 and they treat you like garbage.

This location has gone down hill fast. Last two times I have visited this location I tried to order their new advertised promo items (coupons were sent in mail) I was told through the drive thru speaker I could not use the physical coupon because I was supposed to order first on their app.... whick sucked because I was now stuck in the drive thru with other customers waiting behind me. The 2nd time I was all set or so I thought. I created an account in their app and received the coupon code. I was told that because I didn't have a physical coupon I would be unable to receive that promo discount. The point of marketing with promotional literature is to get more customers to come into your store or drive thru to patronize the business. I was astonished that both times I visited I was unable to use their physical or digital promo coupons. The icing on the cake is that their excuses weren't even consistent. I used to love eating at this Carl's Jr.

Very poor. Ordered a number 2 superstar combo and received a cold burger and soggy pre cooked fries. I went right back and told them this was not acceptable only to receive another burger with semi warm pre cooked patties and more reheated pre cooked fries. Terrible. I will never eat here again and hope that if you do, you are not met with the same incompetence. Ugh

My wife was intending on buying something to snack on but she really needed to use the bathroom first. But they told her she can't use the bathroom, cause she has to buy something first... I don't like this idea and they or any restaurant shouldn't have a restroom if they don't offer it to customers. I should've have to buy 1st to use the bathroom.

Worst Carl’s Jr I’ve been too ,I ordered off of Uber eats,somebody stole the food so I went in showed them proof and everything waited for an hour just for them to make me pay for it again it was a 40$ order and I had so much proof and they were being rude about it and everything ew .

I feel like time and time again I expect the food to be good and time and time again I'm disappointed. My bacon avocado burger was so soggy. It came with just one leaf of lettuce, my bacon was limp and felt uncooked and my onion rings were undercooked as well. I grew up with the belief that when you make every bit of your job with pride it not only helps you as a person but everyone else as well. Good luck to the workers, the customers, and the people who stop by when they travel through Yucaipa.

My Big Carl only had 1 patty and the BBQ Chicken sandwich was so rubbery we had to give it to the dog. The computer that took my order kept interupting me as well.

Ordered the #14, Santa Fe chicken sandwich combo and the chicken was literally too tough to bite into. I informed (politely) the lady behind the counter of this and she accepts the sandwich only to come back five minutes later and tell me that the manager (presumably) says they will all be the same if I wanted to order something else. So I ordered the western bacon cheeseburger with bacon extra crispy (much cheaper menu item with zero mention of correcting the price offset from the staff) and the bacon was barely cooked as well as there being BBQ sauce all over the outside of the bun. I ate it without the bacon, left and will never return to this sorry excuse of a restaurant again.

We stopped by today around 12:15 pm, on our way into town, asked to use the bathroom and got denied. We normally stop and pick up fries, a burger and soda first but this time my husband really needed to use the bathroom first.. the Hispanic female emoyee was extremely rude and then sarcastically said "have a nice day". I get that the policy is meant to prevent abuse of the bathrooms by homeless people.. but my husband is very clean cut and an older gentleman.. I guess we'll never go there again.. ignorance of customer service will lose you customers.

The Manager Cindy was taking drive through orders while I was ordering my food at the counter. She was saying rude things about the people that were ordering food. It is not professional to talk negatively about customers in front of other customers. Or at all for that matter. This location has gone down hill in customer service. The Calimesa location is by far better.

I understand this is fast food but this is ridiculous. I have been going to this Carl’s Jr. for 15 years and I have never had such a bad experience as I’ve had in this 2 weeks. Two separate days I order a cheese burger only to have them not give me cheese. I returned the food twice. Only to be greeted by some of the most grumpy staff I’ve ever seen in fast food. Today I gave them another chance I asked for a cheese burger with only mustard and pickles. I got a cheeseburger COMPLETELY SOAKED in mustard I’m talking I could ring mustard out of the bun. The staff lately has been incredibly rude and the food has been terrible. My medium coke was the only thing that was good about tonight’s meal. Carl’s needs to have a talk to there employees and teach them what cheese is and also how to talk to people.

I ordered my food from DoorDash and from my understanding, she was very rude to the DoorDash guy who picked up the food. she said there was ranch already in there, she made it such a huge deal for just a one more extra ranch, that the nice man had bought another ranch for me. they usually don’t put any in there.,just like I thought there was only one ranch for two 9 piece chicken stars & stale criss cut fries and fried zucchini. I’m really disappointed.

I ordered a whole list of stuff at this location. Only to find out. The kids meal wasn’t inside. Returned back only to be greeted by a very rude person. Questioning me about it. Then I proceed to get home. Only to discover a long piece of hair sticking out my burger. It still had the hair bulb at the end. Never again will I attend this location. Customers beware.

food tasted bland and fries cold, i didnt wanna use this ai thing they got people sounded like they had an aditude doing there job taking orders , sat in the drive through line for way to long with only one person infront of me who been here so long they shut off there car waiting . this place is just horrible and needs news staff that actually do there job

After dealing with a stupid AI assistant (your order isn't taken by a human), I'm finally able to order an El Diablo with NO SAUCE. I get to the window and ask for BBQ sauce. They say "got it!" And confirm no sauce on the burger. They confirm a second time I want BBQ after ringing me up and giving me my card. I get home. No BBQ. Extra sauce on burger. I try again next week, SAME EXACT THING. I got no BBQ on the side and Extra sauce on the burger. SMH

This Carl's sucks. Sad the dining area is practically just for looks. There's only one person taking orders for drive thru. Rude and slow. Back in the day Carl's would hire special needs employees and they were friendly and would take the food to your table and clear the table after eating.

I had to ask for my $4.78 change back and he then he asked me for the receipt back so he could get it. Then he came and handed out my drink and burger which i said "thank you" and he mumbled "no problem". Come to find out there was no straw for the drink and no napkins. Burger looked like someone had a death grip on it when putting it together. To top it all off I did call the restaurant to speak to the manager about my experience and had to leave a voicemail. No call back. I figure no call back = no return to this location for me.

Then we told the lady who came to help us after the other worker rudely stormed off and she ignored us. Overall rude staff and AI ruins your orders.
