Very excellent service. Blizzards were awesome, and the patty melt I had was gud too, but onions need to be sautéed in butter til they turn a translucent color and they'll be perfect. As a prior fast food employee, i know things have to b speedy, but quality over quatity brings customers back time after time. Worked up to chef in a Las Vegas Casino, n I have to give constructive criticism like I received, so hopefully some will become chefs n run their own kitchen. Practice makes perfect n it never hurts to have onions constantly sautéing on the grill according to volume needed. I love the patty melt bcuz for pepl without teeth, the onions would be soft enough to chew. Best melt I've had in a while tho. Thanks.

Great big dq with more variety menu. It has tacos and nachos even! My favorite though is their cheese bites! Tons of seating room and options for big and small groups. It’s also right by a gas station and the local roller rink! Excellent area for all ages to hang out and enjoy the food and a skate nearby. Excellent customer service whenever we go and it definitely can get very busy. There’s multiple dq locations in the Abilene area but I think this one is our favorite of all.

They make me a Chocolate Covered Cherry Blizzard even though its not on the menu anymore. If the Store is slow you will find the ladies sweeping and mopping the floor. The place is clean , I like that. Great service and a cheerful Staff. Thumbs up .

Dairy Queen has always tried to do it's best. The quality of the food depends on the cook. In recent years the managers have done an exceptional job of employing good cooks. I love the ice cream, blizzards and shakes. The food is better than Burger King and McDonald's. Now that prices have gone up I would say it's still on the higher side. I give five stats because everyone who works there is trying their best. I was greeted with smiles and professionalism.

Just had the Josh Abbott meal. It's great! The steak fingers were crispy and tasty. Toast and fries were also good. Of course the blizzard was great! Well worth the price. Was a little hiccup on ringing up our order but it was corrected. Service was great 😃!

Usually come in for Blizzards only but tonight ordered burgers too. Tonight, best service in 4 years!! They were busy, turned the orders out very quick and no long drive through line when we left. 4 star vs 5 star rating was because new employee taking orders input the wrong dessert, she asked 2 coworkers for assist, they offered little assist and she did the best she could.

Went today and had a much better experience than times before! The male manger on duty seemed to really be helping his staff and moved things along really nicely! This was around 1:20pm! The staff is always nice but usually everything takes FOREVER and everyone usually seems super overwhelmed. Today was MUCH better!

We like the burgers and Blizzards. Also the Brownie Oreo Cupfection. Whoever made my last Cupfection however, didn't chop my brownie up. Hmm. Left it sitting on top which looked nice but I like it mixed In my ice cream.

This is one of my favorite fast food stops. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make your order right. The inside is always clean and inviting. The drive thru is fast and efficient. They make the best Blizzards. Another unknown fact is their Tex-Mex offerings are good, especially the nachos and the Carolina Reaper tacos.

The New York Cheesecake Blizzard is the best thing on the menu. Loved every bite! Might take 10 min to make you an ice cream, 40 min for a grilled chicken sandwich. They do accept military discount. Chocolate brownie extreme is awesome

Monday night. 30 min before closing. Made a ice cream run!! Unlike other places, their ice cream machine was fully operational near closing time!! Cheerful and friendly counter staff and quick service!! This location can get slammed at times and the Karen's will let you know about it. Tonight was GREAT SERVICE & ICE CREAM!!

The service is slow, got to drive thru window and the employee was complaining of being nauseous, took 3 employees to get a coupon honored. I ordered two cones...mind you I was by myself and I was given them before my food was done. Was scared of them melting before I got our two sandwiches, fries and onion rings.

I went to lunch with a friend. I goty order quickly, and it was pretty good. However he never got his order. When he went and asked about it they really didn't seem to care too much. He asked for his money back, and the manager came out, and didn't seem concerned either. Probably will never go back.

The burger that my friend ordered had a mutilated looking patty on it. It was stringy looking or partially eaten. The cashier had the cook replace the entire burger. Everything in both of our orders was less than warm, including the burger that was replaced. It wasn't a good experience.

Went into store to make an order women behind counter had headphones and was yelling into the mouth piece. We went ahead and ordered and women was still Talking way to loud - talk to some of the customers and they had been there 45 minutes. The girl that took our order came out and locked the front door. Everyone wanted to know what was going on. No one would tell us. Come to find out the cook had had a medical emergency. Everyone asked to get their money back The girl gave everyone’s money back and if you had ice cream, she went ahead and filled their order. All of these people took their money or their ice cream and left. but she looked at us and told us that she could cook what we ordered. An emergency team came and carried the cook to the ambulance. We got our food and we started eating. Lady with the phone with mouth piece came out and sit down, they brought her water, she fanned her face, she held her hands to her chest. Let’s just say you had to notice her. In between doing all of this she would answer the phone and tell the caller that they were not taking orders. All of a sudden she spoke out and told us that we needed to leave. She was not even looking at us when she said it - we were talking among our selves and had to ask her if she was talking to us. We were half way through our meal and we told her that we would have left long time ago, but the staff told us that they could accommodate us. She then turned to the lady that was sitting with her and mumbled something about people not being considerate. The food was good, the other staff was super nice , calm, cool and was trying to keep things as normal as possible. We had no other problems except the drama queen . She just could have handled the whole situation differently. We probably will not be be back. Just call me a Karen

Wow Richeson FAMILY!! U recently acquired this location and I was happy. But ur PRICES have soared up . The same burger I’ve ate for awhile went up $.54 . I’d like to ask at what point do u THE OWNERS decide to absorb a little of this inflation? I’d bet ur profit margin STAYS THE same if not more. As a TRUE small business owner of over 40 yrs here in Abilene. Please ANSWER MY QUESTION!!

The Chicken and Dumplings that made it home with me. Burnt, dry, and very nasty. Made the rest of the meal (fries) unpalatable, So a wasted $9 or so. I usually have a good experience at this store, and the Chicken and Dumplings are usually very good. Not tonight. I emailed Corporate; they apologized, said they'd forward the complaint back to the store. Never heard anything from the store. Never was offered anything to make it right. Maybe next time I'll go to Arby's. UPDATE: After a bit of back-and-forth with Corporate, and a visit back to this DQ, the manager at the DQ made everything right. (She was very pleasant to work with.) I also learned that one of the employees that was instrumental in not making my visit that night pleasant was no longer working there; apparently she wasn't meeting the standards required. I'm raising my review from one-star to three-star.

The food and/or deserts are always good. Unfortunately I believe the sloths at the DMV in zootopia are faster. Took an hour to get through the drive through for a medium dipped cone that was no where near a medium. Very disappointing.

I called more than once to order, seeing as the app is NOT supported for online ordering in Abilene, TX. Finally got through to be treated with less than professional customer service or any respect. No thank you from customer representative and then she hung up rudely before I could finish…all because she didn’t know how to spell a name? Food was as expected but this will definitely be my last order with the Abilene DQ stores.

Waited 23 minutes for cold fries and a cold burger that was wrong. Ordered lettuce tomato and mayo only on my burger got mayo and onions. Both burgers were cold as well as both fries. Came in for the $7 deal advertised but was told no we ain’t doing that!

Food 4 stars, service 0 stars, atmosphere 1. You can tell employees are not joyful here. Anyways, we are visiting the area and should have looked at reviews first!! Ordered 2 Heath Brownie confections....obviously the gal doing our order was new. She started making blizzards for us instead of what we ordered. Someone corrected her, but she looked SO lost at what she was doing and receiving very little to no help. It took forever, and it was not that busy. It was obviously the management at fault here, cuz it's obvious she has not been properly trained or receiving proper training. Our DQ treats did not end up looking like they should have!! This DQ REALLY NEEDS SOME ONE OF HIGHER AUTHORITY to step in and observe the operation of daily going on's here!!!

So we rolled in about 7pm ordered a blizzard and a double cheeseburger. It was not busy at that time. We got the Blizzard in about 5 minutes. 40 minutes later we got the cheeseburger. Other people that came in afterwards received there orders before we did, and I mean several other people. Staff is too young and irresponsible for me. I won't be back.

This place is on the struggle bus with employee control. While we were at the counter placing our order you can hear another employee LOUDLY cursing about her job or her disdain for another employee. The lack of staff is one thing and I appreciate the employees that came in to assist, but that exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus my blizzard had water in the cup. Not tasty at all. I pray they work it out.

Went through the drive-through. I thought the one person in front of me must have had a big order because I waited 10 minutes for them to get their order. Turns out all they got were two dipped cones. When I paid, I verbalized giving the girl $20.40 for an order that was $5.40. When she gave me my change, she gave me $14.99. I questioned it, and the girl said I had only given her $20.39. Why didn’t she say something when she discovered the amount I gave her did not match what I said having given her? I gave her change because....I didn’t want a bunch of change. Anyways, the medium blizzard came out 2/3 full and was incorrectly made despite clarifying the order with the girl just prior to it being made. Basically paid medium price for a small blizzard that had the wrong syrup in it. The blizzard still tasted fine, but I definitely recommend the north location over this one! One and done for me at this location!

Food was cold, girl taking order was beyond rude. Bathroom was absolutely FILTHY!! There was no ice in the ice dispenser in dining room. They were not busy and looked like they had just opened for the day. I will NOT be going back to this particular Dairy Queen.

Food was not good. Steak fingers and chicken tenders were dry and hard and overcooked. Appear to have been sitting around for awhile. French fries were just as bad. Requested replacement fries only to receive more of the same. They were hot but still dry and hard and overcooked. Ordered a salad only to find out they do not have salad dressing. But only dipping sauce for the chicken tenders they give you to put on your salad which is too thick to be poured over the salad. No one but teenagers running the place who were poorly trained. The ice cream may be fine but do not order food here

Horrible staff. Tried this location twice in two/three months. Both times had to repeat my order 3 times before they understand I have said sandwich each time and not combo and not ordering a drink. This time, after repeating regular onion rings 3 times, I get charged for a Texas size order. I will not return and I suggested you avoid as well.

So went through the drive thru don’t get me wrong probably the fastest I’ve ever been through there like 5-7 mins got a med cookie blizzard which was 2/3 full and like 10 pieces of cookie dough. 6 piece chicken strip basket and fries which was like a handful and a half of fries. I know this brand very well managing one many years ago but I would never send that out my window to a customer. I just hope you reconsider customer service and yes I have pictures of what I was given.

It was terrible. My sister and I ordered our food we were told to pull up to the right we had two meals we sat in my jeep that I do not have heat in for around thirty minutes and then a young lady came outside and said what did you have to bring it back never came back out so I finally pulled around when inside. I was asked three more times what we had and if we had our receipt mind you they already did give us our drinks which were the wrong size. After about roughly 5 to 10 more minutes we got our food another gentleman came in very very upset they had not received his Burger yet and of course I did not lug our drinks in with us and I asked the lady for a water cup or something we could not get a cold drink with our food there were quite a few people that were upset and the one thing that was really upsetting was I didn't really see one of them offer any kind of extra compensation for time or effort or patients from any of the people which I'm so proud to say that no one got cursed out no one got really angry. Where there were people angry but they kept their selves and their composure thank you Jesus!

Very disappointing is really how to sum up my experience at this location. Not just once, but multiple times they've either messed up our order or it's taken over 45 minutes to receive it. The past couple of times we've been, our blizzards have not been mixed entirely; Treats on top, and then vanilla completely all the way down. So this time I specified that I wanted it mixed correctly. Gave us a perfectly mixed blizzard but it was NOT what we ordered....what the hell? So then, we get the correct blizzard and what was supposed to be a medium was a cup will a little bit of ice cream in the bottom. My sundae was also almost completely melted. I just gave up and drove away. Will not be returning to this particular location, and sadly, it's the closest one. Just poor all around.

This is hands down the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. Every time I come here it takes over an hour to get your food- even when it’s not busy. This last time just left without ordering and went to McDonald’s.

They took forever for no reason. Gave several people their food before us and the girl taking orders walked around laughing and throwing trash on the floor. When she handed us our food she shoved it at us with no words. Ending time for waiting on TWO ICE CREAMS: 42 minutes. I do not recommend to anyone. Shout out to the cook that finally came out of the kitchen to help the people on ice cream duty because the three of them couldn’t handle it on their own.

why we still choose dairy queen is honestly my fault… after sitting an hour in the drive through like (4 cars in front of me) yes we timed it! for two small blizzards i’m calling this experience my last with the whole franchise. sonic is at least had priced after 7 pm lol

Got off work, wanted to get my son and me some food. Pulled up, only 2 cars before me. Awesome, they're not busy. Service was ridiculously slow. If your wait time is going to be over 30mins, it would be nice to get a heads up. That wasn't the worst part. I finally did get my food (2 burgers, fries, frito pie and a drink,) they were all cold. I waited around 45 mins for the food. Got there around 415 and left with cold food at 5. Burger was cold and bread was dry. Fries were stale. Frito pie was cold and no onions. Im surprised the drink tasted fine. Ended up throwing food out. Only decent person was the guy/cashier who gave me the food. He caught I was missing a burger and was polite. Not coming back here.. especially after reading some of these reviews.

06/30/23 approx 8:00. Drive thru speaker was broke. We were in a truck which sits higher than most cars. Didn't notice the sign that was posted under speaker noting "Out Of Order'. After several minutes we pulled up to window to order. Dude combo, steak finger basker, a small fry, 2 chocolate dip ice-creams one of them on a cone and the other in a cup for the toddler. The young man that took our order at the window was nice. The young girl with glasses tries hands us the ice-cream cone and cup. I told her we ordered both of them dipped. She looks upset, takes them both and only dips the cone. When she hands them to us I again tell her that they were both supposed to be dip. She leaves us with the undipped cup of ice-cream no spoon, and shuts the window while I am still talking to her. I see her venting to the other workers. I see the manager hand her a small cup with a little bit of the chocolate dip. She opens the window and hands it to us, a little angry. They ask us to pull up and they will bring us our food. We waited about 15 min, on top of the 10 min at the window. A young man brings out our food, calls out what is in the bag. I ask if the small fry is in there and he says yes. We drive off I open the bag. The food is not hot, a little warm. No small fry. No spoon, no condiments, no napkins. Fries that came with Dude combo and steak finger basket were old and burnt. I have a pic but not sure this review allows uploads. I called the Dairy Queen 8 times within the past hour, and no one answers. It rings several times before goes to busy signal. I guess they don't take any phone orders.

Screwed my food up . Made promises then lied to my face and they acted like they had no idea . After reading some reviews. I can see it’s nothing new . Remodeled the outside a few years ago , should do the same with your management . Pitiful . Do better DQ . Not hard to make things right when your customers get burned . And your management lie in front of the customers and upper (lol) management .

15 minutes before closing they shut the door in our faces. Line of cars waiting to be served before 15 till close. So rude!!! No information posted on the speaker. No one was there to tell us about the closure on the speaker. They just completely GHOSTED US. No one to direct traffic. Teenager running the place had an attitude she should be Indefinitely terminated from this establishment. Go back to school and learn how to properly address customers appropriately. All of their staff should at least have some education on how to run a business this was pathetic. Here's some advice for management don't hire high school students to run the night shift.

The would’ve been incredible if she hadn’t repeated back my order correctly and then give me two fries instead of three when I called up there I got hung up on. The nachos were horrible as for some jalapeños in the girl looked at me and said, do you want me to go back inside and ask them for some jalapeñosI was like no it’s fine when you have to walk all the way back in there

Each time I come here, the wait is extremely long...all I get is a blizzard. Today, there was 3 cars in drive-thru and 2 customers ahead of me on the inside. Something really bothered me on this visit, I'm actually glad that I decided to go inside. One of the employees that wasn't cooking, he just took the orders and handed them out. He unwrapped a burger and opened it with his bare hands to check for something then wrapped it back up and put it in the bag to give to a customer! Noone that handles the food wears gloves, masks, that's disgusting especially in the days we're in right now. I won't return The blizzard was good, though

The third time waiting over 20 minutes in the drive-thru. My husband was there for an hour plus. Finally got home and they forgot our chili fries and I ordered a chicken strip basket and got a steak nugget basket. Called to report this and get a refund and the line is busy 🙄 I will be calling corporate and going up there again tomorrow. This is extremely unacceptable and I will not be back.

You don't get to mess with peoples food like its cute and you should have management that holds disgusting employees accountable rather than complain about having to do their job and tossing bags of food on the counter... don't go here if you value your health..

Can't give a review of the ice cream because we never even got it. Waited 20 minutes for our order and they prioritized the drive thru window and ignored not just me and my husband but three other groups. They were dropped food on the floor and ignoring it ; along with that they threw orders in the trash when left out for at least ten minutes. If there was a manager, I wouldn't know from their lack of attention and cleanliness. Along with this the employees would keep looking at is and scoffing and rolling their eyes. Never seen such rudeness from an ice cream shop.

Always slow, orders are almost always wrong. I have eaten here 4 times, and each time something on my order was wrong or it took half an hour for my food to be prepared. The lack of speed and general friendly service is certainly enough for me to eat here only if I had absolutely no other option in the area, and only if I had the ability to waste half an hour of my life sitting in the drive-thru.

If I could give a negative review, I would. This location is the worst in Abilene. The staff is rude, especially the female night manager. I’ve tried multiple different times with this place and it only seems to get worse. From burnt and over cooked food to refusing to honor the app coupon. I really should’ve learned my lesson and stopped coming to this branch a while ago. All I can say is TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Good luck hope your service is better than ours was.

If I could give a zero star I would. This particular DQ is this absolute worse I have ever been. I tried calling for 15 minutes to give my order, no one ever answered the BUSINESS line. Ok sure, they must be busy. I arrived in the line at 3:50 PM, there were a few cars in the parking lot, and either 6-7 cars in front of me, fine, I figured there would be a wait. When I got to the speaker, never once did the operator come on to get my order. I was in front on speaker menu at least 10-15 minutes, not to mention the 4 vehicles ahead of me at this time. By the time I reached the window, the young lady said it would be a minute and she would be back. Well it was another 15 minutes, not sure if it was shift change or not. It was 4:48 PM. When she finally got to me she said you have a drink and ice cream? I replied no, no one ever took my order. She then went on to tell me that if the order wasn’t taken over the speaker she couldn’t take my order. So I asked for the number to her corporate manger. Another girl came back and told me she didn’t have the number (which I know is lies, I’ve worked in franchise restaurants before) but would take my name and have them call me. I then replied, basically I’ve been in this line an hour and you can’t take my order? She straight up called me a liar and told me I hadn’t been in line an hour. So I drove to the DQ on Mockingbird, got very nice service and the number to the manger of the DQ on 14th. The manager on Mockingbird also validated what I already knew, all stores have to have Corporates number. They will be receiving a call from me. I will never go this DQ again and I definitely would never recommend it!! Drive to the one on Mockingbird, it’s worth the extra miles and very friendly customer service.

I took my daughter to this location after soccer practice. We went inside to order food to go. After we ordered we went to sit down and there was a cockroach running across the floor. The lady sitting at another table went to tell the lady taking orders. The worker stepped on it and picked it up. There was no apology, nothing. Then my daughter looked up and there was a HUGE cockroach crawling on the wall. Told the lady taking orders she sends someone else out who brushes it on the floor and steps on it. Once again no apology, nothing. And to top it off, there was a worker eating her food, yelling at her coworker “come here!” she yells back “in a minute!” Such a shame this happened. I don’t see myself going back to any Dairy Queen and that’s a shame because I really like the vanilla ice cream. I would love a response to this review. Thank you

Pulled up to the drive thru tonight at a few minutes until 10 PM. Say the behind another car for 15 minutes. No one ever came to the speaker. We pulled around to the window and the employee looked at us, then turned and left. No one told us they were closed, so we had sat there for fifteen minutes, only to find out they were. Looks like someone needs to train their employees better.

Ordered ahead. Got there. They couldn't figure out how to get to our order. Took them 30 minutes to figure out where it was and that one of the workers had already made it, and our order was waiting in the fridge. When we finally got our order, it was wrong. I asked to speak to the manager. An employee told me that she was the manager instead of getting the manager. I asked for a refund so that we could go on. None was given. Returned our messed up order. Left. Will not ever go back.

Waited 45 minutes in drive through expecting good food. When drive through window opened it smelled like vomit. Blizzard wasn’t full, melty, and had nuts in it…. Not by my request. Tacos only half full, tiny stale shell, and room temperature. I won’t be back to s.14th location!! Gross!!

Absolutely worst fast food experience in my 33 years of life. Ordered through Uber for pick up so I didn’t have to wait in the drive through for 20 mins. Have an 8 month old just easier to pre order and pick up. Get there and the order didn’t go though. Didn’t even offer to get it figured out or anything. I show her receipt, show her proof of the order on Uber. Instead of taking the time to call Uber and figure out why their orders are not coming through, she just takes picture and proceeds to make the order. Of course, it was made wrong but didn’t even complain about so that we didn’t have to wait to remake two of the meals. But the kids meal was left out. My kiddo was like I’ll run and let them know. Well of course she was rude about it. He was too scared to even go back in there. Waited another 20 mins and finally got the order. While having to wait our $10 blizzards completely melted. Absolutely the worst experience and it could have been okay and forgiven had the customer service been better but it was far from that. Will absolutely NEVER return to this location. The previous reviews speak for themselves. Too bad zero stars is not an option.

We order and got to the window. They had our order all wrong. We thought they fixed it. Made us pull for our order. They forgot something. We had to go back through the drive through to get something else. When we got to the window they had our order all wrong again. The lady read it back to us and we said that is wrong. And told her the correct order. She then charged us for the wrong order and gave us the wrong order. When we told her it was wrong again they had to do a partial refund because they had already charged our card. The milk shake we ordered the second time way the consistency of milk, not ice cream. Waste of time and money.

Stood at the counter for 30mins listening to all the non professional comments coming from the back… Finally made my order only to wait for another 20mins… I asked for my money back got so flustered it was also hot I don’t think the A/C wasn’t working the place was so dirty sooo I just left without my money never to return to any DQ anywhere then went to Sonic and got a Blast took 10min from the time Sonic took my order till I got my order.

so I ordered a dip cone and a health caramel brownie cupfection , there is one person in front of us and 3 families came after us . we ordered at 8:26 and received two of our items @ 8:49 because they decided to serve everybody else before us, and we had to go back up to the counter and ask for our dip cone and the a health caramel brownie cupfection after 20 minutes of waiting. There was a young female that kept on bringing out orders that she kept on getting wrong and when she would turn her back, she would roll her eyes. And you can hear the manager yelling at the coworkers there was a man that was not wearing gloves when he was making peoples food and his hands was very dirty. And it was time for him to dip my ice cream cone dip, not he sprinkled chocolate on top of the so-called dip cone. Then proceeds to ask me if that was OK with his fingers inside of the ice cream that I was supposed to eat I looked at him and I Can keep it and walked out because if I would’ve stayed, I would’ve went off on this person so I had to leave without purchase without getting a refund in the managers, sat there and started taking Watching the whole situation go down. None of the tables clean, and the floor disgusting in the dining area. and I was a food service worker so I know how a restaurant is supposed to be run and this was not it.

Absolutely terrible, we got the Josh abbot meal (3 of them at $15 a piece) they gave us the blizzards BEFORE the meal came out it took 30 minutes for the meal to come out (mean while the staff was yelling and screaming where everyone can hear them cussing and everything) we got our meals and it was okay till you opened the gravy and it looked like jello I then took it to the ladies at the counter and they had an attitude and seeming inconvenienced because we had and issue with the gravy looking like jello and couldn’t even use it. Once I sat back down the lady came back and said “this is all we have it’s going to take 15 minutes to make more, do you want to wait” I said no that’s fine I’ll take my family home and make my own. We will NOT be back here.

Horrible experience at this location, we waited 20 minutes at speaker before anyone took our order, and then on top of that when we pulled up to the window the car in front of us took off because they where tired of waiting so then they charged me for their order… and to end it they didn’t even give me the correct blizzard i asked for.

Came in and ordered at 7:18 pm. At 8:00 I asked about my food the guy behind the counter said they were waiting on my gravy. At 8:15 the same guy comes and tells me they are out of gravy. They are more worried about giving a box of ice cream bars and food away than worry about paying customers. Will not go back to this dq!

Over 45 minutes in the drive through for 2 blizzards. Seriously?! Whataburger doesn't even take that long. This is our last time choosing DQ for an after dinner treat. Kids are late to bed, husband is pissed because of the lack of service & we wasted more in gas than our order cost!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Drug test your employees and get rid of the ones that are too high to work in FAST food, maybe then you'd have a decent business.

Took a long time for the young lady to take the order...two fountain drinks and two blizzards. Store was not busy. Filled our own drinks and then waited over 20 minutes for the blizzards. That was going back to the counter twice to find out why they had not made the blizzards. Manager was messing with the menu board and said they just had kids working and we would get the order when they made it. Manager was quite rude. Asked for our money back on the blizzards. Manager wouldn't do it. When the blizzards were brought to the table...they hit the table and with a rude...how a nice day and the worker walked away. You would expect an "I'm sorry it took so long." That did not happen. Needless to say....not a good experience.

They are not Full stars just a 1/4 star. We went Wednesday April 11, 2024 at around 7:00pm to get two blizzards at the S14th location in Abilene tx. They stated that the strawberries were frozen that it will take a few minutes. It was a few minutes so We agreed to wait. 20 mins later, we were still waiting so I got up to get my money back. A cook came around and asked me what was the problem. I stated that I wanted to get my money back and the managers name. He took my receipt and then He too had me waiting until a manager by the name of Michelle came. She stated that the strawberries were frozen. At the same time the cook appeared with the strawberries. The manager Michelle said they are ready and walked back to the drive through station, but nobody took care of us. After waiting for almost 40mins we decided to get our money back. So I told a young lady who was at the register taking care you everyone but us. She too had to go get the manager. When Michelle heard this. She started to yell at the employee and us. She begin yelling “ we’re busy, they just have to wait!” I stated we’ve been waiting for almost 40 mins. She yelled “ we’re busy we have a lot of customers. Yelling at us she demanded our receipt. I explained I handed over to the cook and the cook gave it to her. Then she yelled very loud. at the cook for the receipt stating these people want their money back. She continued yelling at us pretending to be the victim. We will never go back to this restaurant. WE ASUMED THAT THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE MINORITIES THERE. Just your money.

The lady taking the order forgot to give me a cup for my drink so I had to stand there and wait while she went to the back. Looking around I noticed the ice cream area was a mess. My jalitos burger and fries were cold. The jalitos were chewy sign that they were old. I wanted Texas size. I got a large drink but not many fries but since they were cold anyways would have been a waste. Don't plan to return here in the near future.

I am reminded why I never go here. Took 30 minutes to get my food and I was the only one there. They said they were waiting on fries. The fries I got were old and soggy. You can literally squeeze grease out of them. The bread was hard and stale. The patties were burned and hard to chew. Asked for no veggies and got all the veggies. The drink was wierd tasting... Almost flat tasting. 14 dollar lunch right in the trash can

This is one of the slowest Dairy Queens I have ever seen and it's consistently like that. The food tastes good, but when there isn't anyone there and it takes 20 minutes to get your food it isn't worth it. Edit.. I dropped my review from 2 stars to 1 star. Why is it that I have to wait 20 minutes every time I come here and this time my food wasn't even hot and fresh. Inside of the restaurant was dirty looking.

I used to love Dairy Queen and this store has killed it for me. Multiple occasions ordering Moolattes the machine is either broke, not working or the order is made without the signature coffee syrup that makes it a Moolatte. Today I received a caramel Moolatte without the coffee syrup in it and caramel dumped on top of whipped cream. My 6pc chicken strip was more like random pieces of over cooked nugget. I won't be going to that specific store anymore, waste of money and the employees don't seem to care about their job.

Definitely tell this location is aged and is slightly run down. Nothing wrong with that as long as things are clean and the service is good. Unfortunately this is not the case which is a shame. Updated to one star. This service is easily the worst. I'm shocked....straight out a gas station has more attentive staff that give actual care about working. Never have I seen people work so slow in my life. This place needs a reorganization and management to set straight. I ordered one small blizzard and waited 25 some minutes. 25 Minutes for a blizzard! Like what even is that Edit for owner: No thank you, I have no desire to go to this location. Maybe your North locations, but seriously, you guys need to clean this place

I hope by some miracle 0 stars can be an option for reviews, because this Dairy Queen is definitely deserving of it.. I will never go to a Dairy Queen in this city again. Ordered just a pasty melt sandwich and waited almost 30 minutes with no customers inside or ahead of me.. still don’t know to this day how it takes a staff of 5-30 minutes to put a patty with cheese between toast

Absolutely ridiculous. We came here to celebrate a small ice cream treat as a family for my son's birthday. Boy, did we pick the wrong place. We are understanding when places are packed and full. This place was NOT when we arrived. We orders 4 ice creams to enjoy together as a family. It took this establishment 30 minutes to bring out 1 banana split and 1 blizzard! Then another 15 minutes to bring out the last 2 blizzards. We couldn't even wait for each other to enjoy our ice creams together because they were already melting. Absolutely terrible customer service. Had to go up to the cashier after 30 minutes just to ask where the other 2 items were and they hadn't even made them yet! We don't like causing a scene but not even an apology or even a manager in sight for us to address the situation. Money terribly spent and definitely going elsewhere. What a joke.

Waited in line 35 minutes for this nastiness. I seriously threw this in the trash when i got home. Smh I would have got more fries in a McDonald's happy meal versus this smh and yes I will gladly go there over this place next time. Waste of time and money. Breakers a bar next door that isnt even a restaurant does chili cheese fries way better btw Smh I had a reward for a free blizzard and I guess their system was down for that too because she had to take my phone and write down the code and ask me what kind of blizzard three times. This place is struggling and it shows as well with the food. Smh

I probably got to DQ once a year if even that because the service is so horrible. Was told to wait at the speaker, no problem. Not a long wait but when she said go ahead and order I did and no response. I gave her a couple minutes and asked if she heard me, no response so I just drove off. This has got to be the worst DQ I've been too. The service is slow and unprofessional. Employees arguing in the back and the kids working here are rude. You can hear the manager talking bad about the other employees.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. We just moved here a few months ago, our first order they didn't blend either mine or my wife's blizzard, all of the toppings were at the top and it was just vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Whatever, things happen and it's no big deal so we ordered again and both my wife's and my blizzards were completely wrong and our order was just two medium blizzards. I can forgive a fluke but this place consistently drops the ball.

While i like many Texans LOVE dairy queen. The one off south 14. My husband and i got burger combos tonight, Little to no vegetables..and upon eating some of my fries. .there was a hair fried to them. Instant turn off. HAIR NETS PEOPLE!!! Will never go back to that one.

Disappointed. Went and got a strawberry New York cheesecake blizzard and it legit appears that they put ice cream on the bottom and put the cheesecake bites and strawberry puree and put more ice cream on top and let it swirl once and then proceeded to not even do the flip upside down thing. So it wasn’t mixed at all.

The lady in drive thru was really rude. She asked us what size of drink we would like and we said large and we paid for a large. She gave us a medium and then wanted to up charge us again for a large. We also asked her for the receipt and she gave us attitude and said no.

Everytime my wife an I come to the 277 store through the drive thru we always have to wait for at least 15 minutes to even get our order taken then we have to wait another 10 minutes to even get our order to us. It always seems like they are to busy to get to the drive thru when they aren't even busy. It took so long for us to get our ice cream that are ice creams are melted.

My husband just went through the drive thru to get blizzards for the whole family. They did NOT turn them upside which is part of their policy. But more importantly why are there no lids on 4 blizzards that need to travel? One of the blizzards sipped everywhere. This is the mess he brought home. I'm not pleased... Also, the bottom half of our blizzards were just vanilla soft serve. They did not mix them properly. We will not be back!

This place is always filled with filthy tables, flies, and disgusting floors every time I come in. The service is prompt as you walk in but overall is half baked in effort and listening to orders. The blizzards are melty and not even made correctly being blended with vanilla being over half the cup. When brought to the staff we received an apathetic “What do you want me to do about it?”
