Haven’t been here in awhile but I was glad to be back. We started with the new Twisted Cheese Sticks. These were great. Good seasoning on the crust, served hot,melty and plentiful. These were my favorite part of the meal. I went for the Grilled Chicken Salad. It was good, chicken was cooked very well and had good flavor. The veggies were pretty fresh but the lettuce had some bad brown spots that were off putting. My wife had the fish and chips. It was really good, moist meaty fish fried well and not over seasoned. The fries were disappointing. First , they didn’t taste like the Onion Rings we ordered, them they were cold and soggy. We asked for replacements and they brought a different basket of cold and soggy fries. I didn’t penalize them much for that. I have been here a lot and I know it’s not the norm. Just a bad day, and we all have those.

Great service (even when i spilled my root beer float). The food was excellent though everyone at my table received cold french fries with their meals. They quickly and courteously fixed the issue and brought new , hot fries out for everyone at my table. It wasnt as loud this time as i remember it being loud. I'll be going back.

The menu shows what it should look like. In the second is what I received. I had to ask where the burnt ends were and why there was no bacon. There were maybe 5 small pieces of brisket not really burnt ends. I forgot to ask that the burger not be cooked to well done. It's was and it was dry and tasteless. The first fries has been under a warmer. I requested fresh and they were good and hot. An over priced meal but the service was pretty good.

We came around 8 on a Friday and it was pretty empty so maybe that's why our fries and broccoli were pretty cold. The broccoli was so dry I didn't eat it. The burnt end burger and sweet potato fries were really tasty.

Bottomless sides? Was never asked if we wanted more. Was 4pm... not crowded. Burger was smaller than the bun. Asked for a side of coleslaw, received it in a small cup the size of a dressing cup. Will never go back.

Our waitress, Maria or Marie ( not sure of the name), brought drinks around. She couldn’t remember which drinks were which so she had my friend taste it. He proceeded to taste it, give it back to her, and she gave him the other drink. She brought the drink that he had tasted to the other end of the table and proceeded to give it to someone else to drink.

I ordered the dinner salad and a chicken burger. The salad was full of yellow and pink lettuce and tasted awful. Even asked for a replacement and it was the same. The chicken burger has dark grease on top of the cheese. Service was horrible. Had to keep flagging down the server because she would not ask me how my meal was.

My girlfriend and I came in to eat at about 5pm on a Tuesday. The server was nice and took our order, I had ordered the fish and chips and my girlfriend had a salad, a little later I was told they were cleaning the fryer and there was a 20 minute wait for fish, I asked if she had just a grilled chicken sandwich and fries and she said yes. A little later she brought our food and my grilled chicken sandwich was crispy, I asked for grilled because I can't eat crispy chicken due to mouth problems. She said they don't have grilled chicken and asked me to order something else, my girlfriend was almost done eating and I didn't want to order a third time so I declined and ate a few fries, I was still charged for the crispy chicken sandwich that I didn't order and couldn't eat. To sum it up the total paid was $45 and no effort was made to make it right and I left hungry, it was my first and last visit to Red Robin in Abilene.

To the best of my knowledge, it is always been self seating in the bar area. Blue hair boy that works there was very rude. Told us that we’re not allowed to sit wherever we want to in the bar or anywhere in the restaurant so we decided that was not gonna be a good place for us to do our afternoon dining and we came to blue sky where it is self-seating and nicer waitresses

The Drive

Food was all right and service was amazing thank you kayla!!! That being said I gave a low grade because of one woman and one woman only. She had absolutely no regard for sanitation. She came in for her shift went right up to a table and used the tablet screen as a mirror while brushing and playing with her hair for a good few minutes until she decided to put it up. Then she walked off. She didnt clean the table or anything. And the worst part was she didnt even check to see if anyone was seated around her before doing that. Thank god they weren't but still. What if her hair got into someone's food? Disgusting and she needs to be spoken to about that. Other than that though over all good.
