Cosa dicono i clienti di Heritage Restaurant & Bar
Heritage Restaurant & Bar is a popular spot known for its fresh, flavorful food and friendly service. Standout dishes include the hush puppies, mac and cheese, and salads. Some found it pricey for the portion size, and a few had issues with specific dishes like the Ruben or steak.

LOVE this restaurant!!! Came to Woodinville for a work retreat and ended our day with a delicious lunch at Heritage Restaurant. When our group went to search for an Uber back to Seattle, we found that there were no cars available due to the snow. The employees immediately offered us a ride to the nearest bus stop and comforted me with complimentary coffee while I waited for my eventual ride home. Amazing service, thank you!!!!
Incredible experience. The food is absolutely top-notch. You can tell that everything is made in-house with the freshest ingredients. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The patio seating is wonderful, and the interior is beautifully updated and chic! Can’t wait to visit again soon!
Finally found the place I’d like to dine in whenever I eat out. Food is amazing whatever you get, and the service is a stellar. Reuben sandwich is my favorite. Their salad is full of textures and so refreshing too. You’d definitely get more than you pay. Highly recommended!
Heritage Restaurant | Bar is an absolute gem in our community. The food is always impeccable—thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and consistently delicious. The service is kind, quick, and welcoming, making every visit a wonderful experience. Chef Bre, the owner, is the epitome of community. Her dedication to supporting local, uplifting others, and creating a space where everyone feels at home is truly inspiring. We’re lucky to have her and Heritage here in Woodinville!
We have been here several times. This is a place you know that you will always get a great meal. It never disappoints, the staff is great, and it just feels like home in the way you feel that warmth of good food. They have an excellent wine selection! We have tried: the burger, wedge, beet salad, hush puppies, scallops, steak, sorbet, key lime pie in a jar.
Visited this gem for dinner with a friend. Brand new in Woodinville and already getting great reviews and I agree with every one of them. The staff here is first class across the board. The food was absolutely amazing and you can tell the chef and cooking staff put a lot of time and energy into providing the best ingredients and experience possible. The personality of this place sets it apart and I will absolutely be returning again!
From the moment Heritage graced Woodinville with its presence, it has been my go-to spot for both family dinners and date nights. Chef Breanna has truly outdone herself, curating a menu that dazzles with every dish. Each visit, I'm compelled to start with the crab hushpuppies; their dill crème fraîche is a stroke of genius on the palate. When it comes to cocktails, the Woodinville Barbie is my top pick—a testament to their creative mixology. The Wedge salad, with its robust buttermilk blue cheese dressing, is a must-try. But the star of the show recently for me is the Wild Boar Gnocchi. At $36, not only is it exquisitely flavorful, but the generous portion means I'm savoring it the next day for lunch, too. Heritage strikes a rare balance—it's not your typical "fancy" establishment, yet it maintains a classiness that elevates any occasion. It's a warm, unpretentious haven that offers both heartiness and finesse in its offerings. Heritage isn't just a restaurant; it's a cornerstone of our community dining experience. It's a place that consistently impresses without trying too hard, and that's why it has earned a special place in my heart and my dining routine. Thank you, Chef Breanna, for bringing your vision to our tables. Here's to many more memorable meals at Heritage!
1st time visiting this restaurant. Great service. Wonderful staff. Only reason for 4 star on food was because nothing to compare.
My husband and I had dinner, Sunday evening. The staff were welcoming and made our visit fun and relaxed. I enjoyed both a cocktail and glass of wine from nicely curated menu offerings. We started with the Spicy Steamed Manilla Clams. So flavorful, and that broth! We soaked it up with the toasted baguette that came with it, and spooned up the rest! Not a drop to spare! My husband had a Philly and I had the Steake Frites. Nice portions and prepared well. Thank you Adrieanne and Nicole for making us feel right at home and providing a wonderful dinner experience!
The everyday fish fry was amazing, best I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, had Ahi appetizer also delicious, definitely on the list next time in town for a concert.
Today, we went out for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Woodinville. I’ve been living here for four years, and for four years, I’ve been a loyal customer of this place. While the decor isn’t exactly impressive, the food is absolutely exquisite, and the service is always outstanding. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, but tonight, they truly earned it. There were four of us dining, and we ordered two of their unbeatable burgers and two plates of tagliatelle. As always, I ordered my burger medium well, but when it arrived, it was completely charred. I called the waiter over, showed him the burger, and he immediately acknowledged that it wasn’t what I had requested. He took it back and let me know that the replacement would take about 15 minutes. By the time I received my correctly cooked burger, the rest of my family had already finished their meals. However, they apologized multiple times and made sure—at least three times—that I was fully satisfied with my second burger. Even though I had to eat after everyone else, I still enjoyed my burger just as much as I always do. But the real highlight of the evening? When we got the check, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had taken responsibility for the mistake and didn’t charge me for the burger. It’s not about the price—it’s actually one of the more affordable items on the menu—but rather the fact that they owned up to the error and made a genuine effort to make it right. As always, a great experience at Heritage. Will I be back? Absolutely!
Ist time here and I loved everything about this place....location, ambience, food and beer selection! The vegetable soup and turkey grill cheese had great flavor and IPA offerings showed someone takes pride on offering the best. Waiter and bussers all helped out too in making my visit perfect. Can't wait for my next bicycle ride pit stop:)
Heritage restaurant is a unicorn. The food is an exquisite compilation of complex flavors without the heaviness of many fine restaurants. Every detail of the meal is orchestrated with much thought and passion. I had an outstanding beet salad dressed in a subtle vinaigrette which walked me through my meal. I ordered an outstanding Pu erh tea fresh brewed and for desert I had the most simply outstanding olive oil cake with creme fraiche and fruit compote with a mildly candied delicate orange slice. The service was on par with the food and the atmosphere is like west coast Nantucket.
A nice menu of options for everyone. Great spot for a small group or family gathering, also. Tasty food and drinks.
My girlfriend and I came here for date night while we’re in town and we were thoroughly impressed. We started with a couple oysters, which came with a balsamic, cocktail sauce, and shaved horseradish. The flavors all went together perfectly. We also had the hush puppies which were fried perfectly. The creme fraiche spread was light and airy and a great substitute for butter or another spread. I had the heritage burger with bacon, which was cooked exactly as I requested, and was juicy with a horseradish spread My girlfriend had the scallops which were in a curried Apple sauce. The flavor pairings were great and the scallops were not chewy or rubbery at all. The seasonal fruit crumble was my favorite thing of the night. The assortment of fruits was a nice mix, but the streusel was cooked perfectly
What a beautiful meal! We came in for my husband’s birthday. Reservations were easy to get using the online system. Parking was a little difficult (we ended up parking along the side road), but our table was ready for us when we walked in, outside and facing the valley. The menu is not extensive, but everything we tried was so fresh and so delicious. I would have appreciated more non-alcoholic drink options, but it’s wine country- what are you gonna do?! The sofas we ordered were unique and tasty. We ordered the crab hush puppies, two kinds of fresh oysters, beet salad, black cod with cous cous, burrata with tomatoes and toast, and finished off with salted caramel gelato over a hot brownie. Everything was plated beautifully and absolutely delicious. We will be back! Wonderful spot for a laid back celebration meal.
I strolled in here ahead of 'The Odd Couple' a show at the local theater. Marissa the bartender was jamming and serving everyone with a smile at the bar.. I was thoroughly impressed by the operations of this place. I asked who the woman that served me wings at the bar and said "You're in for a real treat' was. The waiter said it was the owner. You wouldn't even know it cause she was so chill and cool. The staff really like her. This is a special little place with an incredibly warm atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. In an area filled with wineries...if you live great service, tasty cocktails and great ambience...this is the place to go! Next time im at a show...I will be back!!!
New favorites with every bite!!! I can’t say enough good things about the Heritage, from the staff upon entering, to our server, we were treated like long lost friends ❤️ After listening to a few recommendations we couldn’t wait to dive in. We ordered starters, a few to share, and couldn’t have been more pleased. For me, each new bite became my next favorite thing! Highly recommend the clams, the hush puppies, and the charcuterie board! Their signature cocktails were phenomenal and I absolutely loved the blueberry lemon. ❤️ The desserts were absolutely mouthwatering, sorbets and gelatos… You can’t go wrong ordering any flavor. The salted caramel brownie was absolutely phenomenal and tasted almost like an almond roca dessert with the slivered almonds on top 🔥 so good! Cannot recommend enough and am so excited for our next visit at the end of the month! 🎊
Cozy, stylish place with super welcoming staff. I wish every restaurants had staff like this. The food was amazing, we got oysters, foie gras, scallops, and a burger. Everything was prepped with care and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Each bite was so heavenly that I didn't want to swallow them! Highly recommend!
Amazing birthday dinner featuring champagne, crab and cheese hush puppies, citrus fennel salad with grapefruit, pistachios and Spanish olives, an incredible salmon entree from the daily special sheet, and their delicious Key Lime Pie in a Jar! Highly recommend this place - my heart and tummy are happy and full! <3
This place is out of this world! Had to order the hush puppies and for good measure the clams! A lot of food but ate it all... along with entrees and desert :-) The head chef(and bottle washer) ran some of the items to our table and was so nice!!! Great selection of wines and craft cocktails looked amazing(didn’t take part in them though). A welcome addition to Woodinville Wine Country. Please get there as soon as you can... you couldn’t possibly be disappointed! Go... NOW!!
Amazing restaurant!!! We tried for the first time a few weeks ago & absolutely loved it. Their Dungeness crab hushpuppies are to die for! Their burrata & beet salad was also delicious- you get an entire ball of burrata! Everything else we got was so yummy & beautifully presented! We will definitely be back!!
I hesitate to leave reviews as everyone has become judgemental critics these days. This place deserves a stellar review. We really enjoyed our evening here. The Service was really great with a personable waiter who saw to all our needs and beyond. The food was plated beautifully. I am looking forward to bringing other friends here.
We worked with Elise at Heritage to plan our catered July wedding dinner. It was an intimate dinner for 36 at Darby Winery (a few doors down). The dinner and service could not have been more perfect! Elise has a great communication style. She worked tirelessly on the menu and the chefs prepared excellent food. They worked around my family’s onion allergy and made a few ‘special’ dietary plates. They delivered better food than we could have imagined. I only wish we had ordered more scallops, but only because I selfishly wanted more! Every guest agreed that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. That’s saying something thing because a few of us are wedding officiants, so we have a lot of meals to compare to! If you’re looking for a truly special dinner to add to your perfect day, call Elise at Heritage, you will be so happy you did!
Heritage Restaurant and Bar in Woodinville is a must try if you live in or are just visiting the area! The recipes are unique and include quality, organic ingredients. The staff are very experienced and tight knit. The ambience is lively, energetic, light, airy. A full bar if that’s your thing. And if you are a wine enthusiast, it’s a great place to end your day of tasting. You’re gonna have to soak it up somehow anyways! Might as well be at Heritage! Five stars!
Heritage has always been one of our favorite dinner spots since moving to the PNW. Their menu, albeit small, contains some of the most delicious meals we have come across. We usually lean towards the scallops or fish entrees but on this stop we all opted for their famed burger. As expected, it didn’t disappoint. Stacked high and with accompanying amazing fries, our party of three could have easily shared a single serving. One suggestion of improvement for Heritage is how the burger is served. So much food is presented on a personal cutting board we each struggled to keep our burgers from sliding off and onto the table. That aside, service was awesome and the drinks on point. Note: Heritage books up quickly so plan ahead and make reservations. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers!
We hosted a dinner here over the weekend, rented their private room and had a great meal experience. Elise was easy to work with and quick to respond to emails for coordinating. My entire group loved it. Food and wine choices were amazing. Our favorite was the jar of pie! Strongly recommend. Only negative was they charge $100 to rent the room which with a contracted food and beverage minimum seemed slightly odd. Otherwise-strongly recommend.
We came to town for a concert and had family who recommended Heritage as a delicious spot for dinner so we joined them! From the time we walked in, the service above and beyond. The staff was highly attentive, engaged with us and committed to making our experience there the very best! The food was absolutely delicious! The pork shank with hominy and veg, hush puppies, and fresh egg pasta with house made meatballs is worth making another trip over the mountains for! I was only sad because we did not have time for dessert! We look forward to making another trip back!
It was our first time to dine in this restaurant for dinner in the mid-week. The restaurant provides a homey atmosphere even though 90's pop-rock was playing in the background. The food was all good and well prepared. They made a mistake on one of my kids orders and X-wing drink was too much lemon. Oysters were fresh and meaty. We'd like to come back again for brunch or dinner.
Chef Breanna has truly caught lightning in a bottle with The Heritage in Woodinville. The consistent excellence is what really stands out. Every single thing we ordered immediately became our new favorite thing. Where do I even begin? The Dungeness crab hush puppies are to die for. These are the best hush puppies I’ve had outside of the South…and not to get too heretical, but I think they could easily stand their ground against the best the South has to offer. But I’ll leave that debate to the professionals. Don’t pass on the charcuterie board, you will thank me. The crostini sesame bread with the white bean hummus is amazing. And all those homemade pickled veggies…yum! There’s a reason The Heritage is famous for their Manila clams - because they are awesome. We could have stopped there and been so happy, but then we saw the dessert menu!!! We had a flight of sorbets, and each one popped in its own way. The coconut sorbet was phenomenal (we stole some of the brownie from the sundae we ordered to pair with the coconut sorbet and were so glad we did!). The lemon sorbet was something and creamy, and goes so well with the tart sweetness of the raspberry sorbet. I can’t say enough about the raspberry sorbet. It’s like eating a spoonful of sweet summer freezer jam. And then there’s the piping hot brownie that is fudgy and decadently chocolatey, topped with salted caramel ice cream. Sweet and savory…. Sign me up! Never one to give up, we also went for the key lime pie that was served in the cutest mason jar! I feel like all pies need to be served in jars from now on! 🤣 After having eaten there, we’ve decided to come back until we’ve tried everything on the menu at least once (and the desserts will definitely get some welcome repeat performances). Oh, and did I mention they are opening a bake shop where you can pick up sweet treats to go, plus some fresh baked bread!?! I can’t wait!!! My only regret is that I didn’t have more room in my stomach to order more food. I can’t wait to come back! Update 11/3/22 - came back to Heritage for dinner and it was as amazing as I remembered. Started dinner with my favorite app, the Dungeness crab hush puppies. They were so tasty, and my only regret was that I only ordered one batch! Had the house made egg noodle pasta with the most flavorful Italian sausage I’ve ever had the privilege of tasting. Everyone else at the table was raving about the braised pork shank, which I was lucky enough to snag a taste of, and that too was delicious. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter’s description of some of the other dishes had us absolutely drooling. I can’t wait to go back (again and again and again)!
Anytime I see a menu with a half chicken, I always order it. This was by far the best one I have ever had. Scallops were also delicious. We sat on the patio with our little dog. They turned on the heaters for us and it was a wonderful experience. The Old Fashioned is top notch. I would highly recommend this place.
I came in just after lunchtime on a Friday afternoon. The happy hour menu is wonderful. I had the Heritage burger with French fries. The saffron aioli is great with the fries. The burger was dressed in a way that was delicious without having to add anything. The first bite is a flavor explosion of awesomeness. The menu items were all reasonably priced. One of the gems of Woodinville for sure.
AbsoLUTELY wonderful quaint little spot! A+++ for sure!!! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the ambiance is excellent for either a date night or a family dinner. I loved the upscale, modern rustic and open airy feel. The real flowers on the table were a wonderful touch and shows how much the owner cares about the customer experience. Visited here with my entire family, who don't normally care to eat out, but I love trying new places and I was visiting home so they all decided to come along. I found this place on, where else but here?! :P Went to the website for the menu and the pictures really hit that nail into the coffin for my mom to say ooohhhhh yes let's go here! Beautiful and upscale pictures of the food on the website, which really gave us a visual of what to expect! We drove out from Bellevue on a Saturday to get seated right when they opened at 4:30pm. Perfect timing because people quickly trickled in. We were there for about an hour and a half so got to beat traffic there and back! We started with the crab hush puppies, DELISH! Nice and fluffy! We also started with the wild prawns, super fresh!!! I had the sea scallops, grandma had the bacon & gouda mac n' cheese, dad has the burger, brother had the prawn gnocchi, mom had a pasta... I can't remember what she got and I don't see it on the online menu but I know she got a pasta. Every single one of us loved our meals. Dad is the pickiest and usually finds something he doesn't love about his meals when we go out but ... NOT THIS TIME!!! He actually said that was the best burger he has had in a longgggggg time! I really love that the presentation of the food was just as beautiful as the online pictures. I meant to a T! Gorgeous and very appealing! We finished by sharing the home made chocolate ice cream, the tiramisu and the key lime pie in a jar. Ohhhh myyy gawwwwwwwwsh! SO glad we did! The key lime pie actually had fluffy and creamy singed merengue on top, not whip cream like some places try to get away with. I was also very pleased with the generous portion sizes. That being said, for the quality and portion sizes the prices are fair!!! Spend a good couple hundred bucks here and very glad to do so and will be back!!! If you haven't patroned here yet, put it on your list of must tries!!!
I had the cheese burger with egg & bacon 🥓. We order the oysters, which were amazing. As an appetizer we also ordered the crabcake balls. A little too much filler. Other than that, everything was awesome! Definitely would head back. Son got steak, cooked perfectly.
Our waitress was Sasha K and we so enjoyed our time here. She was funny, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. Great food...we had the french toast and Heritage burger which were excellent. Even shared a corned beef dish she said eas really good. She was right! Thanks Sasha!!
I got the lamb chop, it was soooooo tasty! I was so frustrated to be so full because i wanted to try more. WE WILL BE COMING BACK! Nicole was a delight and very good with my FOUR kiddos! So thankful for the staff and grateful for the experience.
We had an amazing dining experience at Heritage. Truly recommend them from a casual dinner to celebrating a special birthday. Of course, we had to order their famous hush puppies. We ordered the 12 ounce steak frites. For dessert, we had the ice cream special and pot of key lime that was amazing. The service was impeccable and even the ladies bathroom was a lovely experience.
We had a fantastic meal here the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The baked dip with artisan bread was comforting and indulgent, the salad was crisp and well-balanced with great textures and citrus notes, and the drinks were spot on smooth, well-crafted, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was warm, attentive, and never rushed. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, which really elevated the experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively ideal for a casual lunch, brunch, or even a relaxed dinner with family and friends. Overall, great food, great service, and a great vibe. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to, and one I’d happily recommend to anyone in the Kirkland area. 👏🍽️🍹
We enjoyed a private dinner in a separate room from the main dining room. Our group had well attentive service and the food was attractive and flavorful. The atmosphere is a bit industrial but I believe that matches the surrounding areas. We ate the Caesar salad, chicken and ice cream and shortbread cookie. I was surprised at how tender and moist the chicken was!! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Woodinville. Caution though- it was a bit loud here because of how it was constructed so maybe consider not bringing loud kids or having a quiet business meeting here. It's casual formal here.
Really appreciate the quick feedback! As I said the service has always been excellent and it also shown that they do care about customer feedback. Good job! I am bumping it from 4 to 5 stars ⭐️ We have been here several times and majority of the time the food is above standard. The quality of food is highly depend on who is the chef that day as we have ordered the same dish on the menu but it came out completely different. Service has always been excellent and really love the neighborhood restaurant feel.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here. It was our first time visits and we all really enjoyed the evening. We had made a reservation and the restaurant was packed. Our table was in a room off the main room. It was quieter -- which we appreciated -- with one other birthday party and a table of 3. Kyle was our attentive server and creator of the absinthe cocktail but my drinking friends (I was designated driver) chose the barbie cocktail. We started with the crab and corn hush puppies which were tasty and a good appetizer to share. I had the tomahawk pork chop which was excellent with plenty of vegetables. The birthday girl had the king salmon which was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent on a bed of flageolet ("flatulence") beans and mushrooms. Our other friend had the clams with chorizo which were spicy. Everyone enjoyed their food. We finished with the pie in a jar (?) which was undercooked but edible and an apple bread pudding with caramel which was pretty good. Our friend's dessert included a birthday candle which was brought, unprompted, by the restaurant and is appreciated. Very buzzy atmosphere, a decent menu and friendly staff made this an enjoyable evening and somewhere I'd happily return.
Great restaurant! The service was quick, but not too quick. Each server and host was polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was busy, but not loud, and you could still talk. They have a beautiful inside and outside. The food was very good! My favorite was the salmon dip, then the risotto and sausage balls (red pepper gravy is bomb). The crab hushpuppies were pretty good. You tasted the crab, but pretty normal after that. The big surprise were the french fries. Homemade and the perfect amount of salt seasoning. So good! Drinks were creative and delicious.
This was the best meal of our trip. Absolutely everything we ate from the beet and pomegranate salad to the mac and cheese to the chicken and pasta dishes and finally with Creme Brulee and tiramisu, we're all amazing! I've been thinking about the salad and mac and cheese for 2 days now lol the service was equally as good and we definitely will go back here next time we are in town
This is my go-to restaurant in Woodinville with friends or solo. The bakery next door is as wonderful as the restaurant. Food is always made with quality ingredients and a well balanced flavors in reasonable pricing. I was especially surprised by their selection of old loose tea leaves. It was smooth and fragrant. As a tea drinker, I appreciate the care and thoughts behind the menu. Thank you. A side note about their afternoon tea set, I would love to try it but the menu is just huge with the amount of food. I would frequent for this service if a more manageable portion is available. Support local business Support women’s businesses Cheers!
Stopped by for a happy hour on sunday. They have 2 tables and a bar top which they serve happy hour at. It was relatively quite except the 2 tables. From my order: Hush puppies are amazing, very delicious and satisfying. I rarely enjoy sauces/condiments but this one came with a great fluffy cream which was a great combination. Nice oysters although although the happy hour price is not particularly a great deal and they were sold out for second order. Tasty seasonal cocktail (some lemon drop variant). Their music was a weird shuffle of styles but I forgive them as overall very satisfied with food and drink.
We headed to Heritage Restaurant for Sunday brunch and were thankfully seated inside during the mini heatwave. Although they do have several outside tables, we were glad to be inside, with the sun shades drawn when the temperature soared to 95 degrees. I had made reservations ahead of time for our party of three so we were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant has several tables comfortably spaced, with a full bar and private dining room. Wood furniture and a thoughtful decor added an upscale yet relaxed vibe. The Brunch menu offers tasty breakfast and lunch options with selections for all palates. I selected the Brie and Brussel Sprout Scramble. I loved the combination and appreciated the clean preparation. My guests had the turkey grilled cheese and homemade minestrone soup with Heritage salad. Everything was fresh, delicious and made with care. Service was wonderful: friendly and responsive. This is definitely not a greasy spoon diner. Added photo: I stopped for lunch on another day and ordered the Roasted Tomato & Bell Pepper Sammie with a side of house-cut fries. Tasty and delicious! When you’re in the area and are looking for a nice place to stop with an approachable menu and ambiance, Heritage is a great option. It was my first time trying brunch and we enjoyed our experience. Parking is limited so you may want to plan ahead and book earlier reservations to find a spot in this popular complex. I’m looking forward to visiting for dinner and wine sometime in the near future! Updated Oct 2024: Teatime at Heritage was a blissful experience. Three levels of tasty treats, butternut squash bisque, Regal English Breakfast tea, live music and a nice ambiance with wonderful service. A win for sure!
One of the best restaurants I've been to in Washington. The wedge salad was insanely refreshing. Whatever they do to the bacon on the salad is amazing. I haven't stopped thinking about the crab hushpuppies. They are perfectly crispy ...and the whipped lemon dill butter is out of this world. The peach flatbread was a bit dry, but full of flavor. The steak was probably my least favorite thing. The veggie medley was not the best, and the flavor of the steak reminded me of chicken drumsticks glazed with BBQ. . nostalgic, but not in the best way. The steak was cooked well though! Overall, very excited to try more dishes.
We stopped by this wine country on Saturday night not realizing it was going to be as busy as it was. After scrambling to find parking across the street, we walked over to this restaurant and found that seating was available immediately. The hostess staff was super friendly and gave us a seat at the bar. The Dungeness crab hush puppies and the Parmesan garlic potatoes were absolutely scrumptious .The bartenders were friendly and overall you could tell the service was good at this restaurant. We snacked on multiple appetizers that were really good and we definitely would make it a point to come back here again should we ever visit this area. The only downside that we found is that most of the restaurants in this area already charge 20 to 22% gratuity so if you were to get bad service, you already are tipping at a high rate. It’s a good thing that the overall experience here was a positive one.
Outstanding service. Went for a Birthday dinner and the service staff was Amazing. Only reason for the 4 stars is because of the half chicken we ordered. Seemed under cooked just a bit. Other than that the soup desserts were great. Just wait till you get to taste the heart shaped cookies at the end. They are DELICIOUS!
The acoustics made it very loud inside & as I've noticed in a couple other restaurants here they're a little lacking in the seasoning of their food. But with a little salt & pepper, the food was incredible. I had their harvest Benedict w Fingerling Potatoes. Amazing! I'd sooo do that again.
Plenty of outdoor seating for a summer day out with the doggo! No frills here: some solid American cuisine located right next to some Wine tasting rooms. Depending on the day, parking may be tough since it shares the lot with a couple of said tasting rooms. Nontheless, as mentioned before solid food! Highlight Dish: Wild Mushroom Bisque
Quite close to the Sammamish River trail. We went there for brunch after a nice bike ride. Nice food! Loved the atmosphere and vibe. The server was very sweet and gave us option to park our bike right outside. The food was good! Sandwich did get a bit messy and I thought the mussel broth had a bit more wine than what I would have preferred but still was good food and we liked it! Would visit again!
First time visiting. Food was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The scallops and beet salad both tasted great! My only suggestion is to eliminate the thyme leaves from the G&T cocktail's ice cubes. When the cubes melt, as you sip, it's not very pleasant to have the tiny, raw thyme stems and leaves on your tongue. I'm not accustomed to drinking cocktails with a straw from a wine glass. Despite that, we'd return and stick to wine. Parking lot is extremely busy on a Friday (as it should be!) as this is located adjacent to several wineries. Free parking. Friendly, efficient staff. Will return!
Took one star off because of the process of getting our table. Bar area was crowded, so we decided to put our name down for a table. Host said it would take ~45min, so we walked couple doors down to get a drink at bar. 5-10min later we got our drink and Heritage texted us table was ready! So we ditched our drink and ran back :( when we got there they said there were two small tables opening up at bar area and said we can have them. So we stood in bar area and ordered drink. when tables were cleared, a couple just sat right down so we told host and waiter we were told to wait for those two tables put together for 3 of us. But waiter said he couldn’t ask them to move :( so we had to wait at least another 20 -30 minutes for a table in dining area. Sigh we could have finished our drink in the other bar. Anyway food was yummy and our waitress was nice so I will give them 4 stars.
Pretty good food. The Crab cakes were tasty. The scallops were cooked perfectly, but too much salt; the sauce and veggies that comes with it were delicious. The clams were my least favorite. The chorizo in it didn't really add anything to the dish. The peach salad has a nice light dressing on an otherwise ordinary salad. The lemon meringue as fairly good.
Very lovely atmosphere and wait staff. The cocktails are yummy. I had a spicy bloody mary and the special blueberry French 75. Was super stoked to see they have a vegan option that wasn't impossible or beyond. I had the cauliflower "steak" and it was kinda bland at $26 for some beans, artichoke hearts and a slice of cauliflower I was left wanting something else. I would go back for the drinks if in the area again.
We have visited twice and both times were good. Solid brunch options. Burger was good, the patty felt a little over for my liking but the hand cut and perfectly crispy, deliciously seasoned fries and sauces more than made-up for it, the taste is definitely there. The scallop dish blew my socks off. The cocktails didn't disappoint either, I had the empress gin and tonic--very beautiful and tasty and the second visit I tried the house Manhattan and it was expertly mixed.
Almost perfect, had a nice date date here and ordered the harvest salad, top notch, followed by the Calamari which was superb. Then my burger arrived which looked and tasted bland, and juiceless. On the plus side, the Egg Pasta my date ordered was the complete opposite. Pulsing with full flavor, and a great tasting item. Will skip the burger next time and maybe avoid the key lime desert and go for the salted chocolate brownie. Will have to come back and try the Autumn Farro if it's anything like their Fresh Egg Pasta. Not a good place for kids, kids are kids and tend to ruin a pseudo fine dinning experience. I could not hear myself think half the time bc of a family with a couple of young girls that were sat next to us.
Arrived and it took them quite some time to find our reservation. Ordered 2 of same cocktail. They only had ingredients to make one. Ordered meal and they did have ingredients for one of two orders. Second choice was disappointing substitute.
Went here on Friday night for dinner. The place got very loud and hard to enjoy eating in the loudness. We had 12oz NY strip steak and fish fry. The steak had alot of gristle so that disappointing. The cod was over cooked so the food was not special. The drinks were ok. It was not worth the 200.00 we paid for dinner. The service was really good!
Update upon Owner Response You follow-up is a positive - shows real care for the business. Fair enough that we could have at least referenced my primary complaint re portion of fish - though not sure how to have handled the bland sauce for the salmon. Your servers have always been great. Original Review I have been to Heritage 3 times. I typically enjoy myself - the staff has been good to very good - including Eric the manager. HOWEVER, I have become somewhat disappointed by the food - including the portions. Specifically the last "fish and chips" for $30 - well, the tartar was great, the fries good - BUT merely two pieces of modest sized fish??? for $30?? Come on!! That is ridiculous - toss on a 3rd piece of decent sized - NOT over-fried pieces. The king salmon for $43 - okay, sort of a normal price in Seattle (with outliers) - but expecting a bit more of a portion - AND a sauce that actually had flavor - instead of the completely flavorless sauce provided. So despite having enjoyed the bartender and his custom Paper Plane, etc. - and the ambiance at the bar (much "cozier" than the front room), I doubt I will be back anytime soon - there are just too many good options to review.
The scallops were over sauce. The portobello mushroom sandwich was fairly good. The beet with pesto dressing salad was OK. Nothing really blew our socks off and was a pain to have our parking validated would be nicer to just walk in and be able to go to dinner then have to do all that our waiter was fabulous though what a great server!!!!
Decent service, not particularly attentive, but not particularly inattentive. However, ordered a burger well done, emphasizing that i wanted no pink. I got a disgusting, undercooked burger. See pic. No staff around to ask to cook it longer, but the time the wait staff came by it was too late and i had to get back to work. Rest of meal was good, but would go to other places that are more affordable and actually cook their food in the future. Nice try, the dog thanks you for the leftovers...
The place has potential to be a good restaurant, drinks were tasty, salad menu was diverse and innovative, brunch menu included the usual eggs benedict, huevos rancheros, french toast and biscuits… minor observation: the Hollandaise in our benedicts was a bit bland for my taste, lack of salt and barely any zesty flavour. That being said, host service needs a major upgrade, we had to wait 25 minutes to get a table since our reservation time, I had to ask 3 times to the host for it since walk-ins were getting sited and we were still waiting…
Love the location and ambiance — that’s what keeps bringing us back. Unfortunately, on our fourth visit, the food quality and overall experience fell well short of expectations. We ordered the brie appetizer, which arrived cold in the center. When it was “remade,” it appeared to be the same piece of brie, simply cut open and repositioned with jam added on top. It was still cold and congealed when served again. The salad portion was also surprisingly small, especially compared to nearby restaurants like The Shed across the street. To add to the frustration, I sampled a beer before ordering a full glass and was charged $8 for the sample — something that was neither communicated nor expected. Taken together — repeated service mistakes, declining food quality, and unexpected charges — the experience was disappointing. Given the price point, it’s hard to recommend, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
Went there once before and the food and service were exceptional. Especially the scallops. Went there last night and my husband had the tasting menu. Instead of New York steak in the Steak Frites, they served an inedible Sirloin. Tough and hardly tasted like advertised chimichurri. The service was so slow and took forever to get anything. They also took their best dish, Scallops, off the menu. So disappointed when a bill for four people is $291.00. Will never be back.
