Finally, a Proper Burger Spot in St. Albans! So glad to see a decent burger place open up in St. Albans, and it does not disappoint. The beef patties are absolutely amazing — juicy, flavourful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. We haven’t tried the other options yet, so can’t comment on those, but the beef alone is worth the visit. Service was friendly, albeit a little slow on our first visit, but to be fair, they had just opened. By our second visit, things had already improved noticeably. We’ve only ordered takeaway so can’t speak much for the dine-in atmosphere, but the setup seems like a standard café-style layout. All in all, we’re really impressed with the quality of the food. And trust us, we know a good burger when we taste one!

Used this restaurant a few times and really like the food and staff, great quality every time. I had a problem with Uber taking massively too long to deliver resulting in cold food being delivered. Uber had no interest in resolving the problem however Nandini in the restaurant was an absolute star, a bit of inconvenience but I have to say the dealt with my complaint efficiently and politely, well done Nandini, a credit to the business.

The place is in the heart of St Albans food heaven, Hatfield Road, next to the Fleetville park I had their special Big Juicy one and loved it Interior is nice simple and specious Car park is always available in surrounding areas recommended

The serious cheese burger is serious. You better be hungry enough. They are maintaining the same standards at least. A must visit beef stop.

tldr: decent but reserving final judgement for round 2. Now for the deets: long wait for delivery. Could have been Just Eats fault. Either way it dampened the experience. Burger was actually average, granted I went for a cheese burger but I like to compare Burgz with Burgz. Will defo patty up next time. Bun was heavy in comparison to regular cheese burger ratio. Chips were genuinely great and chicken tenders were up there with best I’ve had in local area.

Asked and paid for extra cheese and was not delivered Decoration - bare minimum, ok I guess No toilets nor anywhere to wash your hands after eating burgers. In a time when there are so many excellent smash burgers out there, this one just doesn’t make the cut. There’s definitely room for improvement.

I was deeply upset by the anti-social behaviour during this shop’s opening. I’m relieved the police got involved. Despite what they claim, it’s clear to everyone that the owner invited the bikers and organised those dangerous stunts. It was completely disrespectful to the local community.

Bad. Don't order from here - at least if u eat in u can complain but when its an order its terrible. They miss toppings, charge u for out of date extras and scimp on it at the same time.

Honestly I have to say I'm quite disappointed with my first try of the local STA branch & personally don't recommend the food. I ordered a variety of items from burgers, different types of fries & tots in order to leave a genuine review of the food. Firstly the burgers (which have been way too hyped up by people) were very bland couldn't taste the salt at all & the premium beef they apparently use was very dry so the moisture & flavours were lacking big time. Chips (with all the different sauces & cheeses) were Honestly so basic especially for the price you're paying literally a box of chips with some sauces on top, if you're charging a lot for chips at least give people their moneys worth of toppings & not just sauces on the chips. Tots were very basic & again just covered jn sauces but just bland in taste. Overall, I'm disappointed in the quality of the food & for those who claim it's the best burger you've ever had i would highly recommend you travel out of St Albans & try smash burgers from other places & then you'll truly appreciate this honest review. The staff were very polite so that's one positive. Price doesn't justify the food it's as simple as that, I'm happy to pay whatever the set price is but expect quality food in return & unfortunately Big Juicy Burger just didn't deliver.
