A friend of mine turn me on to Mario's about a year ago have ordered at least once a week and the food is fantastic the service is unreal we really appreciate the the service and thank you so much for the great food

We moved to Greentree a little over a year ago and Mario’s quickly became our favorite local pizza, salad & hoagie shop. The consistently amazing food is what originally hooked us, but the great people that work there are what keep us coming back. I will always recommend Mario’s to anyone coming through or staying near the Greentree area.

i work at 2 pizza shops and have eaten at a lot of places in the area. dont ask me how but they're pizza is just great. dough is so soft but not too soft, not greasy either and always cooked perfectly. very generous toppings. but all of their other food is awesome too, like their salads and stuff! i dont order pizza anywhere else now

The best pizza! Not to mention the best gluten free pizza as well. My husband has a super sensitive allergy to gluten and Mario’s is always a safe option for us, We love Mario’s so much we had them deliver pizza as a late night snack for our wedding guests!

Order the buffalo chicken pizza 🍕 and mild hot wings 🍗.. The wings were cooked prefect, i asked for the pizza to be cooked lightly with extra cheese and it was prefect but it could have a lil more chicken but overall THE BEST BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!! I generally don’t write reviews but this place deserves one. There is on gentleman that works there that time and time again has been so kind when picking up food. We order steak salads, strombolis, pizza, breadsticks and as my friends would say THE BEST CALZONE EVER and we can’t help but to get them all each time because they are that good. The Google rating at this date is undeservedly low. The individual operating the phone and register was polite, kind, and professional. The food was made promptly. The pizza, delicious. Fair pricing. I'll certainly be returning to try out different items on their menu.

We just enjoyed a medium pizza, pepperoni and sausage a dozen of wings with wing dust and a Greek salad with chicken. This food was simply delicious, well prepared, and very appetizing. The price of the food for the quantity and quality was amazing. I would recommend ordering from Mario’s Greentree location.

I'm not sure what is up with these recent negative reviews, but they do not at all reflect my experience with Mario's Pizza. I've been ordering from this place since I was in middle school, and it has ruined all other pizza places for me because of how delicious it is. I always get a Big Mario Pepperoni, and it's always, consistently, the best pizza I have ever had. Mario's is delicious, and it will forever be my favorite pizza shop.

I ordered from Mario’s thru the Slice App; the worker at the front desk recommended them and OMG did they live up to their recommendation!! I had a Calzone that was H.U.G.E. !!! This place has no business being so good. It almost makes me angry how good they are. Fries? To DIE for. Chicken tenders? Perfectly breaded and fried. Chicken ranchero hoagie? 12inches is too small. Everything I've tried has been amazing! Pizza is fresh tasting and always generous with toppings. My favorite is their Italian hoagie! Boneless chicken is yummy! Ordered 3 times in about 2 weeks. And will go back. Sad they won't deliver to my new place though!

Had a reunion of 35, ordered 4 XL Mario Special Pizzas, Appetizers, Chicken Tenders, Wings, Chicken Broccoli Alfredo and Salad. Everything was delivered on time, everything was hot and delicious, and Tyler was awesome in helping to order just the right amount of everything to accommodate all our guests and put it it all in the right size serving pans. Everyone is still complementing me on the pizza and food choices. Would I do it again? You better believe it!!

I was in town on business, got to the Hampton Inn nearby and was too tired to be in the mood to go out to eat. Hotel had Marios menu on desk and I figured I'd give it a shot. Super fast delivery right to the room, hot food, great taste and flavor. I will be calling again.

Listen all of these negative reviews need to go somewhere for real. One thing you can ALWAYS count on, is Mario’s pizza being On point. I consistently tell all my friends to order from here, and I honestly don’t know how they didn’t make #1 pizza in Pa. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was awesome! Probably by far the best one I've had. The load the pizza with real chunks of chicken instead of that cheap fake meat that every other place uses. I also loved that their mobile ordering app which mobile friendly, was very modern and easy to use. I love ordering from Mario's! You won't be disappointed!

We ordered take out delivered to the Greentree Hilton Double Tree and let me tell you from the moment we called until we ate our dinner our experience was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!! The person that took our order was kind and professional! Our delivery person was extremely polite and grateful! Our hot pepper cheese balls, side salad (huge-easily fed 2ppl) our breadsticks, Stromboli and calzone were huge and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would! I've had a few hiccups with these guys but all in all they are So Solid. Absolutely 5/5 stars. Delivery is almost too fast. I've had piping hot food at my door in under 20 minutes on a slow night. Food is CLASSIC Pittsburgh pizza shop. Chicken parm is a stand out. Best pizza is just a simple pepperoni pie. Sweet doe, savory sauce, tons of cheese. ONLY complaint I have is they dont chop up the cheesesteak. But honestly they've been so cool, I wouldn't doubt for a second they would do it if you asked. We ordered a medium pizza with two toppings, and three half hoagies which cost about $40 bucks before tax and tip. The delivery fee was $2, which is lower than most nowadays. The app estimated it would take 45 minutes but they were with in 20. The food was good. I thought the pizza was very good,and my daughter loved the steak hoagie. I was very happy with the experience.

Love the type of pizzas they make. The dough and toppings have a good flavor and crispness. Nice to have onion rings and jalapeno poppers to go on the side as well of course! Everyone's been friendly whenever I've been there. The one time they got a topping wrong they offered to remake the pizza 🙌 They didn't ask me to review the place, I just left one since I'm pretty regular here 😁. The bad reviews mainly seem to be from a long time ago but good experiences for me over the last year.

Being a Buffalo native, I'm always searching for good pizza places around my new home in Pittsburgh. Mario's pizza ranks up there on my list of favorite pizzas in the burgh. Crust was fluffy, sauce tasted home made and very flavorful, they sure don't go light on the cheese, and pepperonis were good too. Even though I was stuffed I couldn't help but have another slice! Service was simple, down to the point but not bad. I think the people who get treated "bad" there are probably being bad customers. If you act like a reasonable person, you'll get treated like one.

We ordered two small specialty pizzas; Steak pizza and BBQ Chicken pizza; and they were great. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and the ingredients balanced each other great! Definitely worth ordering again!

I rarely take the time to do this, but the salad I just received provoked me. Super big and loaded up with more than just lettuce. I got the tuscan chicken salad and it was practically overflowing when I opened the container. A+, would order again. Ordering in the past was also great, I love the pizza as well!

Mario’s offers great value deals - we got 12 mild wings and large cheese pizza for $25. They deliver locally for only $2 charge! Delivery was also very quick. The mild sauce for the wings was thin and buttery. The pizza had a nice soft crust, taste almost reminds me of Fox’s pizza.

We have ordered from Mario's a few times and their food is actually pretty good. But after our last experience there we will not be ordering from there again. First off they got our order wrong and gave us the wrong hoagie and did not give us the dressing on the side as we requested. We contacted the shop and explained to them that the order was wrong. I was told by the manager that they would deliver the correct hoagie to our house. After waiting an hour they finally delivered the second sandwich. The delivery guy asked for the first hoagie back after I had eaten half of it. Within 15 minutes I received a call from the manager asking why I gave him a half eaten hoagie back and that we were supposed to be swapping out hoagies. The manager was very rude and actually hung up on me. We were never told my the manager that we were swapping out hoagies. I would be leary of ordering anything from this place, since they asked for the hoagie back, were they going to resell it????? The customer service was horrible and on both orders I never received my dressing, the manager's answer "Never order from us again then", my response was if you are a new company trying to start a business you will never succeed if you treat all your customers like us..

Their food is fantastic. But customer service is terrible. Constantly take well over an hour to deliver, never bring change, expecting a large tip and if you call and complain, they just cancel your order.

We ordered an extra large pizza with pepperoni and onion. The pizza could have been good IF IT WAS COOKED! The dough was raw on half the pizza. It’s like it was in a section of the oven where the heat only hit a spot and the pizza was never rotated. We had to throw it back into the oven to finish cooking. We called and they offered to remake our pizza which is generous but would have liked it to be cooked the first time. Will update review after the 2nd pie arrives. So 2nd pizza was better, but still slightly overcooked. I wouldn't order from here again.

Mario sausage rolls were sooo good! Do not reccomend the calzone. Hardly any cheese, soggy, and dough was still raw on the inside. Really disappointed :(

I ordered a pizza and a large garden salad. The pizza was good. The salad was wilted and the tomatoes were like bricks. Not ripe and not edible. Certainly not worth $9.00. I called to ask for a new salad. They replaced the salad. This time the lettuce was still wilted. I got two slices of tomato and no cucumbers.! What a joke. I will never order from them again. What a shame because the pizza really was good.

Usually their pizza is great, tonight it was cold and felt like it had been sitting out. Ordered bbq wings and they were disgusting! First off they are plain and they just throw bbq sauce on them, they aren’t rolled so they’re splotchy with flavor. The skin itself looked old and wrinkly. We ordered a dozen and ate 3! I will say that they are always really nice, but doesn’t help that their food wasn’t great tonight.

Apparently staff makes own hours?……called at 2345 on a Saturday night….like other weekends…young guy answers phone and say sorry we’re closing to which I said what is Saturday you guys always close at 1am. To which he said “Yeaaaa…but we’re closing now”..literally loved this spot because I live basically across the street for simple pickup orders. The order was late about approximately thirty minutes. I called and requested a discount and they shaved about three bucks off. When I checked on the food, the fries were definitely cooling and chewy. The driver tried to insist that they had to be hot because he just picked up the food despite the restaurant telling me that he had left a while ago. I refused to give the full amount and was very unhappy with both the service and the food. I would not recommend.

We have always ordered through Slice app. This time order never came even though Mario’s acknowledged it through Slice. Not so pleasant to have no dinner. Pizza is decent quality for delivery, if it actually arrives.

The food here is great and wings are perfect, but customer service was extremely rude. I went in the store to pick up and order with my grandfather. I was greeted by someone sitting on their phone with their vape very obviously displayed on the counter. My grandfather started making small talk about the small business owners next door while waiting for the pizza, and I was thrown a back when the person sitting at the front desk asked my grandfather if he wanted to keep on taking to himself while the cashier was sitting on her phone. This experience was extremely disrespectful, and honestly makes me think if other people have been treated the same or even worse at this facility.

Got food on Saturday evening 12/26/20 -son’s wings were not only burnt but also the chicken itself was rancid. As a chef I know when chicken is bad and that was it -wife’s calzone was bunt on the outside but very cold on the inside Here is a tip to help: Please change your fryer oil it needs boiled out as well Could complain but to who?? No email address. Oh well I guess time to call ACHD I wish I could give them negative stars that would be more suitable

I called and ordered a pizza (which I do frequently). When I went to pick it up I went to the counter. No one was at the counter but there was about 6 employees in the back. About 3 we’re cooking and the others were standing there talking. At least THREE of them looked up at me and saw me standing there and not one of them acknowledged me. Pick up price for pizza is 11.99. Ordered 2 one with pepporoni. Should of been 25.99 plus tax. Was charged 32.99. Brought it up. Yhey looked up the price showing the lower price. Me and a bunch of friends ordered pizza to be delivered and it never showed up. We paid immediately upfront but never received anything. Days later we finally got to speak to someone named Tyler and he told me to "JUST DEAD IT"

Anybody that knows good Italian Pizza knows it is all about the sauce and cheese! So we ordered a cheese pizza while in town and to my dismay I see what appears to be black olives on my pizza. I hate olives! So I go to pick it off and put it to the side when I realized this was NOT an olive. This was a cockroach!!!! A nasty cockroach!!!!! I should of taken a pic but I forgot. I also heard they are terrible with online orders. They deliver what they want, when they want. Disgusting and the little bald owner is full of lies. One thing to find a roach, another thing to act like one!

I have ordered a few times before for delivery. Their food can range from 1-5 stars easily roll the dice. However, the last time I ordered delivery (07/08) they stated they dropped it off and knocked. No one knocked as I live in a small apartment that makes it impossible not to hear the door and no food was left. To make it worse when I called 1.5 hours later from the time I ordered to check the status of my food they chose to argue with me over the phone. I will never order from there again.

First the put a medium pizza in a large box and call it and large awful right well I paid for extra cheese and didn’t even get the normal amount of cheese this place is not clean no one had on hair nets or even hats just taking money and going right to cook just awful

Posting this now before I lose service; told Tyler (the owner) that I would pay for my 5 pizzas once I got my cards. He insisted he would make things right. It’s been 5 months. Take your business elsewhere. I’ve had better food from domino’s.

If I could give this a negative rating I would. I ordered two pizzas. Both were cut with what looked to be a knife. Neither were fully cooked. When I called the manager for a refund I was told I had to bring the pizzas back for verification before he would refund me. Why would I waste more time and energy?

I ordered a Medium Vegetable pizza that looked like a small and the small pizza looks like a personal pan. The menu stated 8 slices but they were cut terribly. I disputed the size and they didn’t offer a refund. They were only willing to recut the pie.

Zero friendliness,,,,got 1/2 of a steak hoagie and it's terrible. Sloppy and messy. No taste at all. 2 bites and through it in the trash. The worst hoagie I've ever had. First and last time buying food here. Nothing looked appealing, very nasty smell coming from the chicken wings that are old, hence the smell and taste. Fries were not good, and the calzone was cold on the inside and water logged. Everything ended up in the trad outside. Waste of money, definitely will not be going back.

ANOTHER PROBLEM TO WATCH OUT FOR AT THIS PLACE, today October 11,2022 went to get bacon pizza for a friend who asked me to get one for her, she loves their bacon pizza but likes double bacon. Special had 1topping pizza for $12.99. Total they said for extra bacon is $20. I asked why and told the menu on the counter were old menus and and ordering extra bacon disqualified the price of "special price" and now had to pay regular price on whole thing, which turns out to be $6.35 for little more bacon, which is what they would of gave me. SOOO, be careful when ordering from here and CHECK PRICE if adding anything on to " coupons item's " , you may lose deal and be paying full price, which is ridiculously high. I told her she will need to test other places double bacon pizza since I WILL NOT order from this place again

Witnessed the owner charge ppl for pizza’s and not deliver them. I also ordered a slice of pizza at the counter and was waiting for it then I asked where it was and they told me they had no record of me purchasing a slice. Seems like a pizza Ponzi scheme is going on. Attached is the slice of pizza I got 3 weeks later when the owner told me he finally got back from a cruise and could fulfill my order. Walked in and saw the owner counting stacks of 20’s and what looked like trading cards of some sort. All while making pizza dough next to it. Prob one of the worst pizza’s I’ve ever had. Would rather eat Tostino’s than come here. Attached is the picture of the pizza I received. He definitely didn’t look like a “Mario” either. Wish I could give 0 stars.
