My co-worker kept coming here and getting food that smelled absolutely AMAZING, so I just had to go today to try it out for myself! I got the combo platter, and it was delicious! Staff is friendly. Food tastes fresh. Pricing is reasonable. I will be back!

I could smell the irresistible food a block away and couldn't pass up the opportunity. Mohammed was super friendly and great to chat with while the food was being prepared. I had the lamb gyro and it was superb. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. I would highly recommend the lamb gyro if you aren't very adventurous with your food but want to dip your toes in. I don't frequent downtown, but if I ever pass by again, I am for sure going to try more of the menu!

Friendly, quick, and affordable. The best part is everything had great taste and was the first of 5 or so places i've tried in Pittsburgh that execute the platters as good as the best carts in NYC.

All the food was so amazing, the meat was so flavorful and the pita was soft but had a great amount of char and cook. And, as someone who makes baklava for my family, it was one of my favorites I’ve had! If you’re not downtown, come visit outside Lolev brewery in Lawrenceville

Followed the address as listed at 414 Grant St. I don't know if that is exact, but it's definitely the 400 block of Grant (even side) for anyone who is looking. I went around 11:45. The lady before said he is popular during the lunch hour. Good service, good portions, and good food. I had the lamb on rice plate. Looks like basmati rice. Lettuce with chunks of fresh tomato. Cucumber sauce (tzatziki? ). Spicey sauce was a little too spicey for me. I only got a little to try. Lamb was tasty and well cooked. I will return again.

I walked from one end of downtown Pgh. to the other end. Headed to the City County Bldg. for business. I saw the Barbirou Greek truck. I was reluctant to purchase from a truck. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I'VE MADE IN A LONG TIME. OMG, THE LAMB GYRO WAS TO DIE FOR, AND THE SAUCE WAS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER TASTED. The walk across town was totally worth it. I got the phone # from my receipt, and called him, to give gave him a compliment. I'll be walking from one end of town, to the other, more frequently to get my gyro. :)

Everything is good here. My personal favorites are the Chicken and/or Falafel over rice! Sauces are top tier!! this is a "no-frills" food truck, with perfect portion sizes, good service, and its absolutely freakin delicious!! As a matter of fact, I'm headed over there right now, since I work in The Grant Building and it's right around the corner!!

My coworkers have all been trying it - it's soon to take over as everyone's preferred office lunch. And extremely affordable for the amount of food you get. I'll certainly be back!

I am a student at Duquesne just up the street and walk by this place all the time. I decided to finally try them last year and was amazed. I just got it again today and it was just so amazing for only $12 that I had to give these people an awesome review. I got the Lamb and Rice platter and the flavor is just beyond impeccable. The Lamb is to tender and flavorful. The rice is soft and super fragrant. Their sauces are also amazing. I will also say it's an amazingly generous portion for $12!!! I always look for deals around to save money and this place is about to become my weekly staple on the way to the grocery store. Next time I go, I plan to try their desserts as they looked absolutely delicious. The people who work/own it are also always so friendly. I've never had a problem with anyone on the streets there either, as it's right next to the court house and the city county building, so most people are gov't or county workers on those streets!

Honest opinion: service was very friendly and accommodating, guy also moved as quickly as he could without taking away from his friendly service. The food was tasty, would definitely recommend to a friend. My only two complaints is the price & portion size. Gyro is $12 and there isn’t much to it. Prices aren’t posted either or I probably would have went elsewhere to eat. Food again was very good, and I recommend you try it. For me when I can go to somewhere like a Mike & Tony’s and get double the food with similar quality plus a couple beers for the same price as 2 menu items and not still be hungry when I’m done I would make that decision next time. Again food is very good and the service is top notch. I definitely recommend trying it if you haven’t. I would happily send friends who have never been here to try it. Just go in knowing it’s ala carte style and will cost more than most places. But definitely somewhere I would recommend trying.
