Sometimes I will order the pork Spare ribs which are always delicious if a bit sweet. I have only had one experience of receiving mushy lo mein but that was a highly rare outlier. I certainly have never once become ill from the food. My experience with East Wok has typically been highly satisfactory.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant in Albany.

They went through a rough patch where the food was inconsistent, but more recently have definitely improved. The last several times I have ordered food from them it has had good flavor and I will continue to frequent them.

I have no idea why people would call a Chinese food place expecting perfect English and like, American social interactions. Who cares if they're rude or short on the phone? English is their second language, come on now. Either way, I always get my Chinese take out here, and I am never disappointed.

Delicious above average standard American Chinese food. Eggrolls are always fresh-tasting and hot! Recommended: roast pork with mushrooms, sesame beef, shrimp fried rice.

This is a very good take out place. The food is good with reasonable prices and the turn around time for orders is usually very fast.

Overall good, ready when I ordered it. The lo mein and BBQ pork were dry, needed more sauce. Rice was good, egg rolls crispy and fresh tasting. Reasonably priced. Overall would try other places before going back unless they fix the sauce issue.

Of all the locations willing to deliver to my area, this one is the best of all of them. Not the best Chinese I've ever had, but good enough for a quick lunch and good enough for what I'd expect. I enjoy their sesame dishes and soups. Never any major quality issues. I continue to order from them whenever I fail at feeding myself at work.

Not great. Chicken was overdone and worst General Tso’s sauce I’ve had.

Decent food quick service... consistent

They do in a pinch. Just don't expect a warm greeting or hospitality. They don't have green beans, is what they told me. And the General Tso's is extremely hot, to hot to taste the food even. The chicken n broccoli is mushy chicken n hard broccoli. My boys like the lo mein....but then thats a fatty carb, so who wouldn't. Fried rice sometimes is hard or almost white. Have given them many chances. Over it, save your money....until the shape up and let the community know.

This shrimp is large but doesn't seem natural. It's chewy and no shrimp taste (/ It used to be better. Smaller but good flavor used to be. Not worth the money.

Food made us sick, credit card machine wouldn't take 3 cards and we had to pay a fee to get cash. Totally not worth it, I won't return.

ordered 5 wings, white rice, and 3 egg rolls today, the worst chinese food.. egg rolls were horrible, chicken rubbery, rice was the only decent thing about it very disapointed wont go back unfortunely

The food is simply abysmal. It's not chinese food. The King Pao Chicken was old stale General Tsos chicken pieces thrown together with vegetables and peanuts in a random sauce. Chicken wasn't chewable and the flavor was the worst thing I've ever eaten from a chinese food restaurant. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place shouldn't be making food. Does this picture look like any Kung pao chicken you've ever seen?

Trust the reviews! Spent $70 and wasn’t impressed with the food at all. Ordered beef fried rice, spring roll, bourbon chicken, sesame chicken , chicken on a stick, crab Rangoon and lo mein. The sesame chicken tasted off, cold though I had just ordered, no flavor, ended up in the trash. Spring roll was dry and tasted weird. Over fried the chicken on a stick, had me chewing for days. The bourbon chicken was thick pieces of cold dry chicken no flavor , no sauce, tasted old and also ended up in the trash. Lo mein was super thick and dry, no flavor. Everything was just bland and tasted the same . Crab Rangoon and beef fried rice was just okay. Beef could’ve used some flavor though. Very disappointing.

I ate here once and wouldn't again, I have a family member who works at Hannaford and caught 2 of there employees in Hannaford green compost bin taking produce out, that's called stealing, the bins are enclosed in a fenced in area and marked no trespassing, it makes you wonder about what's going in your good from there yuck they are dishonest dirty people, don't give this dump your money, the health inspector will be notified and cameras will be rolling

The food in the pictures on the menu did not look like Chinese food I was used to. I don't know if it is a different style of cooking. I also thought the prices were high in comparison to other like restaurants.

Some of the WORST Chinese food that I've ever had. The noodles in the shrimp lo mein were the thickest, most over cooked, dry, and clumpy noodles that I've ever had the displeasure to experience. And to top it off, it was completely flavorless. I've had food from here before and it was nothing like this, same dish mind you. But this time is a culinary disaster. Tried the hot and sour soup hoping that that would improve the experience, unfortunately it didn't help at all completely flavorless colored water with tofu and crushed red pepper seeds, totally tasteless. Overall a very disappointing experience and one that I never want to experience again.

Then they want to nickel and dime you for every substitution. Customer service was just as ridiculous as the people that can’t speak English there. Save your money.

I caution anyone who reads this, maybe it was the brown rice because it doesn't get ordered as often, but that doesn't explain the chicken, perhapse it was the sauce, either way they shouldn't be serving mildew laced food. The food at this place is that disgusting so order at your own risk.

I do not usually write reviews. But this place deserves to be exposed. It’s plain awful. I ordered from the “Chef’s Specialties” column. Item 4 Crispy Orange Flavor beef, and item 16 Crispy Shrimp. To keep this short , I’ll just say the Crispy beef was disgusting in appearance , taste and quality. Nasty. The crispy shrimp was not crispy and the abundance of batter concealed the baby shrimp inside which was supposed to be JUMBO. Deceitful and not even close. And, hardly any of the vegetables described were in the order.

First of all, the customer service is brusque and unfriendly. Secondly, the place is unsanitary. (I saw a guy picking his ears near the cooking area.) Third, the food is bad -- and that is saying something. This is Chinese takeout after all, not rocket science. But the General Tso's Chicken here was syrupy, not spicy at all, and lacked any vegetables (usually it comes with carrots or baby corn). Anyways, this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I've ever had the displeasure of visiting and will never be coming back again. Thanks. edit: forgot to mention, you'll be thirsty for a long time after eating here.
