OMG, we were waiting for our train at Amtrak and ordered takeout on a whim before we went home to NYC. Not even kidding, this was probably the BEST General Taos's we've ever had! It tasted fresh and crunchy and spicy! It wasn't swimming in sauce either and tasted like someone's grandma made it homemade. We were blown away and so pleasantly surprised:) The delivery came within 35 minutes too! The pork fried was delicious as well. I wish this place existed in Manhattan.

This place is definitely my favorite in the Capital Area. Everytime I order the food is amazing and so fresh! You have to try their General Tso's chicken and the pork egg rolls! Highly recommended. 5 stars!

One of the best Chinese food restaurants in Albany. Nestled under the Times Union Center, Lam's serves up great food everyday but Sunday. The only negative of this place is that it isnt open more often. The general tsos is great, the dumplings are great, the crab Rangoon cannot be missed. Give it a shot it'll be come one of your favorites.

My go to place for chinese food.....I order from there every week, always hot, good and delivered on time.

Second time ordering from here during lunch time (~1pm). I got to General Tso lunch special and substituted the fried rice for plain lo mein for $2 more. It was good. Better than the first time I got it. I ordered online and from my experience I would give them about 20 mins from ordering to pick up your food (weekdays during lunch time). I always see people in there picking up food or eating there when I order. Very affordable pricing. For lunch you can get a decent helping for under $10.

This Chinese food is damn delicious! It is not greasy or makes my stomach hurt like other Chinese food I have had. The food tastes very fresh. The driver is very nice and they always get my order right. I only order Chinese from here.

I change my review as they have gotten a lot better with service. The food was very good and tasted fresh. I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce which was excellent. Crab Rangoon and scallops were on point. Read my reviews you will see I don’t give many good ones. I however would highly recommend.

I got the general tso chicken, and it was a lot spicier than other restaurants tend to be, but was still really good. My partner complained that there was a lot more sesame chicken than there was lo mien but that it still was good. Also, the delivery was fast. It got here quickly.

I have been in Albany for 12yrs and I claim two of the best Chinese restaurants which one is in Watervliet (freaking delicious). After 12yrs I have added Lam’s Kitchen as my third Chinese spot of good eats! Being a New York City Native it is extremely difficult to find wonderful authentic tasting food so take my word for it when I say this place hits good for a decent price.

The food was good and awesome portions. It was just a tad too salty. Good service though and the place looks reasonably clean. Because of covid the place was a bit cluttered but I understand that.

Standard Chinese fare. Tastes like you'd expect. Chicken is actually chicken, rather than just breading. Way better than Golden Dragon, which is around the corner and is practically inedible. I'll likely be back when I'm in the mood for standard American Chinese food.

Tasty and well-priced ($6) lunch. I ordered the twice-cooked pork and was impressed with the variety of vegetables. Would visit again!

The sesame chicken was perfect, from the meat quality to the chunk size to the crispness of the coating. You couldn't ask for more from a short order chinese spot. A+, will order again!

I was so hungry and wanted to eat the food sooo bad but my 5th bite in I keep tasting gooey texture in the rice and then got hit with a spoonful of cold food. Threw the whole thang away! UpSET! Something was telling me don't eat it something wrong. Bill was $40-down the drain. Never again!

Egg rolls were fine. Ordered Sesame Chicken. Got Sweet and Sour Chicken. Also, they charge for credit card transactions, so if you go and don't care about getting what you order, use cash. It's cheaper.

House special lomien noodles were great! Nice smokey flavor from the wok. Szechuan spicy chicken wasn’t flavorful or spicy…too much green bell peppers, onions and oil. Cold noodles with sesame sauce was tasty, but could do without the veggies.

Place is filthy, department of health really needs to do a surprise inspection. Also if you're a regular you get treated awesome if you just walk in off the street not so much. Food was decent not the best or worst I've had.

Order my food and DID NOT receive my whole order . I call the store to let them know I didn’t receive my whole order and the manger was arguing with me back and forth for 20 mins . I order from them all the time but this will be my last time giving them my money since they refuse to fix my order!

Ordered food from GrubHub and somehow the address I'm at gets mixed up (apparently there are two 124 Washington Avenues in Albany). Then someone from the restaurant calls me telling me they need to get their money back and how I put in the wrong address and I'm wasting their food. She yelling at me that she is going to call GrubHub to get her money back and in the middle of me talking to her she hangs up. So I call back, she starts yelling not to call her and that she needs to get her money back from GrubHub, again I attempt to talk to her trying to find out why she is so pissed at me about this and she starts pressing the buttons on her phone while I'm talking. Terrible, terrible customer service. The food may be delicious though, but I'll never know. Haha (UPDATE: The address I am at has a "EXT" after it, so my fault for not catching the difference between the two, but still poor customer service on this restaurants part.)

I ordered shrimp and broccoli with fried tofu it came with 6 tiny shrimp, broccoli and tofu with s dash of brown sauce. Crab Rangoon was more cream cheese then crab and it was limp and warm close to cold .I will not order from them ever again . Bill was almost $20 dollars

Don't order from this Chinese restaurant a delivery driver assaulted me by punching me in my eye because I didn't want to tip $5 He brought the amount of change he wanted to when I told the order taker I had a one hundred dollar bill and to sent change and he took it upon himself to try to force me to give him a $5 dollar tip on top of a $2 delivery fee the police are on the way so I can file assault charges

General Tso's was all red sauce with try chunks of whatever that was! Instead of lobster lo main they gave us shrimp- paid for lobster!😡 At least the soups were hot, that's why 1star! STAY AWAY!!
