I have been in Albany for 12yrs and I claim two of the best Chinese restaurants which one is in Watervliet (freaking delicious). After 12yrs I have added Lam’s Kitchen as my third Chinese spot of good eats! Being a New York City Native it is extremely difficult to find wonderful authentic tasting food so take my word for it when I say this place hits good for a decent price.

I go here regularly because I eat rice everyday and I cannot use my rice cooker momentarily. The rice is fresh and hot every time I go there. And the rice is affordable $4 for a large white 🍚 yummy! The crab ragoon and rice there is smack

I change my review as they have gotten a lot better with service. The food was very good and tasted fresh. I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce which was excellent. Crab Rangoon and scallops were on point. Read my reviews you will see I don’t give many good ones. I however would highly recommend.

Surprised by the low stars, the food was really good for take-out chinese. Ordered beef and broccoli in garlic sauce and asked them to make it more spicy, it was excellent. The broccoli was very fresh. Steamed pork dumplings had a lot of meat inside, the filling could have had more flavor but overall a solid dumpling. A great option for take out chinese food in the area.

I got the general tso chicken, and it was a lot spicier than other restaurants tend to be, but was still really good. My partner complained that there was a lot more sesame chicken than there was lo mien but that it still was good. Also, the delivery was fast. It got here quickly.

If you are looking for fast and good take-out style Chinese food, this place is one of the best in town. The food is well prepared, spiced to taste, and the staff is friendly. The hot and sour soup is very good, and the Mongolian beef is one of my favorites.

Ordered food to go today, while we were in town for the PBR at the MVP ARENA. Friendly Staff ,very reasonable prices ( if you pay cash) does not look great inside to eat in there. Had thw Sesame Chicken,Beef Lo-mein, Crab Ragoons & Fried Wontons. Food was amazing great flavor.

Edit: Ordered 6/6/23 8:45pm- Was raving so much about this place, so I ordered for 4 of us. I ordered Beef and Broccoli Combo pork fried rice. NASTY! I was so hungry and wanted to eat the food sooo bad but my 5th bite in I keep tasting gooey texture in the rice and then got hit with a spoonful of cold food. Threw the whole thang away! UpSET! Something was telling me don't eat it something wrong. Bill was $40-down the drain. Never again!

Food was real good but delivery fee was more than one of the items I ordered. I won't be getting food delivered again fee was 5.75

Not expecting 5 star dining but I am expecting to eat something that isn't refried. It's hit or miss with this place. The fries are definitely refried.

Egg rolls were fine. Ordered Sesame Chicken. Got Sweet and Sour Chicken. Also, they charge for credit card transactions, so if you go and don't care about getting what you order, use cash. It's cheaper.

House special lomien noodles were great! Nice smokey flavor from the wok. Szechuan spicy chicken wasn’t flavorful or spicy…too much green bell peppers, onions and oil. Cold noodles with sesame sauce was tasty, but could do without the veggies.

I used to love Lams kitchen back in the day, but there quality has gone entirely down the drain....I didn't pay $13 for a bowl of fat pieces

⚠️ WARNING!! They cheated us on food- got two instead of 4 pork rolls AND added an extra to the bill😡 so basically we paid for 5!! Noodles were mushy! Rice was dry as if it was out for a week. General Tso's was all red sauce with try chunks of whatever that was! Instead of lobster lo main they gave us shrimp- paid for lobster!😡 At least the soups were hot, that's why 1star! STAY AWAY!!

I had to use a debit card as I had no cash on me and could not give a tip unusual for me and now all of a sudden when I try to order tonight, you won't deliver in this area? Yeah right! You have truly lost a great customer. I will never order from your restaurant again.

Was given the wrong order, and given food that I cannot eat due to people around having strong allergic reactions to the meal's ingredients. Tried calling back to let them know but they weren't having it and rudely hung up. First and last time ordering from here

I had to use a debit card as I had no cash on me and could not give a tip unusual for me and now all of a sudden when I try to order tonight, you won't deliver in this area? Yeah right! You have truly lost a great customer. I will never order from your restaurant again.
