Super nice service and great food! We came in for dinner and ordered a bunch of dishes to get to taste as much as possible. Dishes that stood out: The surprise of the night was the Cactus Salad -very light and the cactus gives it a nice kick . Mole chicken enchiladas were delicious and the mole had nice heat to it. We got one of the specials- Jalapeno cheesy steak enchiladas,the sauce was heaven on a plate , spicy and creamy. The steak was a bit tough for my taste but the seasoning was ON POINT. For dessert we got churros with chocolate ice cream and tress leches filling, a great way to finish the meal. Washed it all down with virgin and regular Margaritas 🍹🍹🍹

I would come here even if they only served chips/salsa and margaritas. Seriously, they're that good. Atmosphere is super casual and family friendly and tex-mex dishes are on point. Service is always attentive and staff are very friendly.

The only Mexican spot in NYC I’ve found that brings you chips and salsa without you asking (for free!). Food was great and service was fast. $15 or so per plate. Only downside is it’s cash only. I’ll be back for sure.

Food is pretty good, the Fajitas are the best on the menu. The outdoor area is beautiful. Overall, pretty good, not too expensive, and easy.

Atmosphere is cool, nice bar area. I was not wowed by the takeout food. It was nice that each dish came as a platter with either rice and beans or a salad. Pulled pork tacos were underwhelming plain pork and pico. Chimichangas were small and did not seem deep fried or crispy.

The food was fresh, but it didn't wow me, and it's not inexpensive. Service was quick, and the waiters were very friendly. The backyard patio is nice, and the interior has a nice "tex-mex vibe" that's atypical in NYC.

Great infused margaritas and bean/queso dip. Chicken in the mole enchiladas was a little dry and the portobello chimichangas were just alright though. Would prefer they be served with rice and beans rather than a bland salad. There's better tex mex in NYC.

The place has nice decor, really cozy. Outside patio area as well, which is a plus. Got greeted by the hostess and bartender as soon as I walked in. Although, the waiters were sitting at a table on their phones half the time. Drinks were given to us right away, Texas Tea was tasty. Appetizer came almost instantly. Chicken quesadilla was great. I order the enchilada and two taco combo. It was good but my chicken tacos had hidden bones in them. The refried beans were very obviously spoiled and smelled rotten. The waitress just believed "I didn't like them". Hopefully no one else ordered them! I would have much rather been offered another side dish, rather than just getting a side plate to "scoop" off the beans myself. And still having rotten remnants on my plate.

I went in excited by the reviews and menu and left really disappointed by the whole experience. Chimichangas were bland and served with a salad that takes away from the dish. No chips rice or beans without paying extra. All overpriced for what is essentially mismatched cafeteria food. 2 stars for the margarita if you just want drinks.

There was this mean lady who apparently was the owner who felt it necessary to tell our group of 10 to lower our volumes when we were upstairs on a Friday at 8pm with maybe two other tables that were also talking at a normal volume. The lady was unnecessarily mean while the server who was polite apologized on her behalf. The food was also not authentic Mexican. It tasted as if I ordered Mexican at a typical American bar which we know doesn’t taste the best.
