Stunning tap room with views. Very industrial location which isn't unusual for breweries and there are a few other places nearby that you could also stop off. Friendly staff and good beer with views. Don't hesitate to take a visit...music great too!!

This place is an awesome brewery! 🍻 Strong 💪 Rope 🪢 in Red Hook 🪝 Brooklyn offers an endless selection of beer 🍺 alongside of beautiful 🤩 view 🪟 of the water 🌊 and the Statue of Liberty! 🗽 This spot has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.🪑 I wish I knew about this place earlier!

Awesome brewery with awesome views of lady liberty! And pirogies. Very cool space out at the end of a dock on red hook. Right on the water. Plenty of outside and inside seating. Free water. The food is by an outside pirogie provider. Didn’t have one. But they looked great. Parking will be tough unless you get here early. Board games.

Came here for a first date and somehow stayed for four hours—laughing, a little drunk, and grinning like idiots the whole time. Fast forward two years and I’m married to that man. So yes, the beer is great, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the place clearly has magical matchmaking powers. Forever grateful to this brewery for being the backdrop to the beginning of our love story. Will always come back for the nostalgia (and the beer).

Great place with lots of fun seating and a bookshop on an honor system, tasty beers, insiders, and dogs are allowed and not just service animals, and they had a pop-up for Korean kimchi barbecue meat on skewers. This is a great area. This is a beautiful place in red Hook right off the water and you can see views of the Statue of Liberty and you'll see boats going around and you'll feel the breeze and there are lots of wineries and insider places and Even a glass making store. You'll see old historic buildings where it looks like you have a carriage house and barn doors, which are very beautiful and characteristic and coupled with modern windows. It has a really nice feel to it. The chef for the Asian pop up Olivia was great and his food yummy! The kimchi was better than what I could make…The kimchi ($3) with galbi ($6) and pork belly ($5) on a stick along w the flight of beer for 4 ($18) was very good. Great hangout spot w bathroom and charging stations.

Really enjoyed my experience here. The beer was good quality, made on site, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was enjoyable - very lively and right near the water. Workers were helpful and friendly. (Also, the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, despite how many people the venue hosts.)

This was a solid brewery with a nice selection of quality beers, but they could serve almost anything here and I’d still enjoy it! Outstanding location in Red Hook right on the water, with hard to beat views and an even better general vibe. This place should be on your list if you’re a brewery fan.

This place is amazing. The views are unbelievable. 🍺beer is excellent. I am sure it gets very busy, but on Monday night it was not crowded. Our group had excellent time. Everyone loved the place.

This place is excellent. Beer is great and super fresh. Food truck has amazing burgers and lobster rolls. Spectacular view of Statue of Liberty. Cool out door seating and indoor seating as well. The vibe here is really chill. Absolutely 5 stars.

Only stumbled across this because I wanted to have a drink with a friend who was sailing on the Queen Mary 2 the next day. There's nothing fancy about it, but, as a brewery, they actually have a good craft beer list and the bartender was happy to tell you about the offerings. The Storyteller Imperial Stout was excellent, and I'm admittedly hard to please. Even better than the beer is the view from the tables outdoors, which features the Statue of Liberty. Worth a visit by itself.

Red Hook has the best sunsets in all of NYC, no question, and Strong Rope has the best sunsets in Red Hook. Great vide - very chill, nice counter service. Can be quite busy on a nice Friday, Saturday or Sunday but you can always find a seat inside if you can't find one outside. Doors are always open so great breeze and fresh air. (Watch out for people hogging 2 or 3 tables waiting for their friends to show up. Not cool - do not be those people. Also, be nice - clean up after yourself.) Pick up a pizza at Hoek (nearby) and you're set! Be careful though. Sometimes they close for 'events'. Not a fan of that.

I absolutely love this place. The interior is rustic and spacious. The outdoor seating area has beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. It’s fun to just sit outside and watch the boats go by.

What a cute hidden place to sit with friends/family and relax! A great view of the Statue of Liberty. The DJ was playing some jams! Loved that touch! There was also food being served. Not sure how regular this is… this past weekend was my first time here. Dog friendly! Come here and have a drink!

Enjoy local brew with a view of Statue of Liberty! In Brooklyn, it’s a great brewery. Perfect to sit outside and enjoy the views while sipping great beer. You can bring your dog as well as outside food is allowed.

Great brewery, hidden by the water. direct view to the statue of liberty. indoor and out door seating. Good beer, small selection. No flights on weekends. Some food on premises but outside food is allowed. had a great time on a Sunny April day in the 50s, we sat outside in the sun felt great. definitely will come back for a sunset.

A hidden gem and tranquil setting. I stumbled upon this location and was pleasantly surprised at how gracious the staff were. The beer selection is great for a beginner. I’ll definitely explore more of their options to increase my palette. The views are second to none, I’m a regular in the RH area but their set up is top notch. Chill way to end your summer and I look forward to see how they transition into the fall/winter.

Very cool beer spot with view of Statue of Liberty. They have a very good beer selection and tons of seating of your choice. You can also bring your own food to enjoy with their beer, which is super cool. We ordered food from United Sandwiches of America and enjoyed it with beer and a nice view with some breeze on a hot summer day.

Rated for the cider. Sorry not a beer drinker. Though, those who did drink beer seemed to enjoy it. The cider was nice and refreshing. The acoustics aren't great. When a band is playing its difficult to hold a conversation and it's hard to find a place away where you can talk that isn't in smoke or a bathroom. This is a great place for sunsets. Also this us not a place to walk around drunk. Get a taxi or drive here and wait till you're sober but don't walk around alone.

I’m glad people love this place, but unfortunately I can’t say I do. I tried two of their IPA’s (and I love IPA’s), however I really didn’t like them. The space is really big and open and I suggest visiting on a warmer day (not in the winter). The view of the Statue of Liberty was great and relaxing in general (there is lots of outside seating). I do hope everyone’s experience is better than mine.
