Original Tommy's Hamburgers

My favorite Burger Place since HS 40 years ago. Tommy's is a Classic LA Icon. For me, No burger beats a Tommy's Cheeseburger with Extra Chile, Onions Grilled, Everything and Chili Fries. Free Chili Peppers (I like to stick in the burger)! The Chili Dogs are big Dodger Dog size and Tamales are also amazing. Just Wed, I had a Double Chili Cheeseburger and Chili Cheese Dog (both with Extra Chili, Onions Grilled, Huge Tomato Slice, Pickles, Ketchup, Chili Peppers with its juice) plus Fries for $10 ($2.99ea special for burger & hot dog). Best Burger Deals in LA! And I and my friends say it's better than In & Out. 1 employee has been working there for nearly a Half Century. Amazing Dedication and Friendly "Amigo"! A Must LA Eatery to Visit!!

Very fast service, food is nice and hot, very easy transaction, all utensils were received, good customer service, and nice employees. I always come here and I just love there their chili fries.

This place reminds me of growing up. Late nights and stopping by for a quick bite. Those chili cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries are so iconic. They just put me right in my place.

Been going to the original Tommy's world famous burgers since I was a kid. Now that I live in North Carolina I miss this place. So every time I visit Glendale I come to here. Great burgers.

We are 3 minutes away from Tommy's but I never try. Last week, they had a promotion and they told us to check their social media when they announced the promotion some other time. It is delicious 😋

Reps were very nice and attentive to my order. I love Tommy’s!! Been going to the original Tommy’s on Rampart in Los Angeles since the early 1970’s. We stop in Eagle Rock when we take Chili Cheese Hot Dogs to my brother in Big Bear, CA.

Went for National Chili Dog Day. Eagle Rock location has the best fries!

Prices have gone up but still delicious.

The food is good, but man, I'm struggling to finish both the chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. The chili is heavy, but in a good way. Pick one or the other, but not both at once. I think the staff is friendly, but both I and the staff had a hard time hearing each other through the window. I don't count that against them, though; they're doing what they can.

They serve awesome burgers with chili and chili cheese fries. They even have soft serve ice cream for dessert. It's really decadent. I've been going there since the 80s.

The Tuesday afternoon no better place to go for a quick lunch. The sun, the air, a serendipity experience when sitting here, and for the early memories around LA in my college years visited Tommy’s as well.

Visiting from out of state, my uncle took us for dinner here at original Tommy's. We all had a double chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. I thought the meal was very good, especially the chili cheese fries. Everything was very tasty, and if I was in the area I would come back again.

What I expected from a Tommy's. Chili burger and fries were great and hit the spot. Didnt take AMEX was the only issue I had at this location.

The woman who took my order sounded and actually was very nice, sweet and thoughtful. As well as professional. The food was fresh and tasted great!

Still very good I think they changed hot dog brand because the chili dog I ordered tasted really good it held it's own even with the chili, chili burger also very good!!!!

Great customer service. The guy who took the order made sure I was aware of the current deals so I could maximize my purchase which was extremely helpful and appreciated! The cooks also made some of the best Tommy's food I've had!

Don't get me wrong used to be excellent taste years ago. Todays is gone but still Ingo.once a year to eat the delicious hamburgers. Sadly, only in cities close by Manhattan the real taste is there. Where is the money better better things

Because its the only place open right now for something fast and filling. Go count your calories somewhere else. This is my Tommy fix.lol .That dedicated worker right there has served me for at least the last 25yrs maybe more.

It's been a minute (more like 40 years) since I've had a Tommy burger! Somehow, this time, I just wasn't feeling it. The burger seemed less beefy, the chili less flavorful, and the experience a bit diluted. I seem to recall a more enthusiastic response the last time to a better burger. Anyone else have a similar experience? It just did not feel as authentic as it once did. Perhaps the experience at the Beverly location is different? Not impressed, but not disappointed, just meh.

They didn't listen. Be clear & concise, in drive-thru. I asked for a chili dog with a relish and mustard only all I got was a dog with mustard and relish only like really what do they think I came to get

Great, only 10 miles out of my way. So off I was. Couldn't wait. Made my order and received it quickly. Wow. This is the world famous Tommy's. Lmao. What a disappointment. They may be world famous from being in many movies, it definitely isn't due to their food. If you haven't gone, don't waste your time. If you look hard enough. There is a burger in there.
