We are a Celiac Gluten Free family of 6 and our server Miles was amazing. He listened to our dietary needs, was careful to communicate our GF order to the kitchen and he was also efficient, kind, caring and humorous. The food was delicious - GF Spinach & Artichoke Parmesan warm dip with tortilla chips is a perfect starter to share. GF pizzas, Salads, and we usually make time for the Famous GF Pizzookie with ice cream which is beyond yummy. We have been contaminated here in the past so it's taken a few years to trust enough to come back here. Thank you Miles & BJs.

Matt H. is an excellent server! He remembers your order after you have dined at BJ’s a couple of times. He is very personable and attentive. There are five Matt’s working at this BJ’s. So if you go to that location ask for Matt H’s station! You will not be disappointed!!!

After performing a magic show we went to BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse for steak and ordered it to go. The food was delicious and the staff were nice! Hester’s Theatre of Magic will be back!

Good food, I had one of the $13 meals the Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina with a chocolate pizookie. My friends had the ribs and they were good. The service was great and prices were as expected.

Troy was awesome about it and he and his manager took it off the bill which was kind of them as we didn't expect that. The pizzookie was delicious, we got the triple chocolate.

We went for my brother in-laws birthday and we had about 12 people in our party. They sat us with just one server and I was concerned that he would struggle to take care of us. Well, I was totally wrong!! He was fantastic and our drinks were never empty!! The food was amazing, i got the fish and chips and was floored with how perfect the fish was! The batter was flaky and crunchy, and the fish was so tender and flaky. It was absolutely perfect!!

Scrumptious good, great atmosphere, and exemplary service from Cody, our server today, made an early lunch with my sister & stepmom a memorable experience! 5 stars and all the thanks! Especially recommend the Pizookie Trio, as they are mini so each person cave one and you can try several of the 6 or so different flavors they have of them.

Wonderful and quiet atmosphere for a late night pizookie run. The restaurant was clean and quick to greet us. Our server Scarlett was the absolute best. Little quirky but it’s nothing we can’t look past. Will definitely be coming back and requesting her section.

Food was great per usual but Jamie the new girl one of the worst experiences ever she was off in her own little world never brought plates for the apps went off to ask questions never came back to answer and only came to the table 3 times. Not to mention got 3 of our orders wrong. Had to seach for her like jeez new shouldn't mean no common sense.

I had such a great experience at BJ’s thanks to Scarlet! She is truly one of the nicest and friendliest servers I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely taken care of. BJ’s never disappoints! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The appetizer sampler was perfect for sharing — the chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful, the mozzarella sticks were golden and cheesy, and the chips with queso and salsa were spot-on. Everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked! And that dessert? Wow. The spooky Pazooki 👻 was pure happiness in a bowl! Trendy bar/grill with good drinks and mediocre but decent food. You probably will not remember what you had to eat there 24 hours later. It gets rather crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Prices are slightly high for the quality. Deep dish pizza was equivalent to pizza hut. Fish and chips were very greasy. Chili tasted very close to Wolf Brand chili. Other items where about the same. Restrooms where clean. Sorta Recommend

We were here on December 22nd. and I had the New Orleans Jambalaya. Initially I was a bit disappointed because the picture on the menu shows a very full bowl and what I received looked like a lot less. Flavor wise it was pretty good. A little spicier than I expected, but that was fine. The biggest disappointment was it took forever to get our food, while I believe other tables got their orders sooner. They were not busy so I'm not sure why it took so long for us. Sarah was our server and she was great.

We come to BJ’s for the comfort food and while sometimes the food isn’t always consistent, we just like the easy vibe when the bar area is full. But what really makes our night even better is to have Scarlett as your person. She’s attentive without being overwhelming. She’s so good at handling many tables and always has you in her sights. What a great asset to have BJ’s! Treat her right so she stays as long as possible 👌🏻

BJs is a solid spot for casual dining with something for everyone on the menu. The food was consistently good, portions were generous, and service was friendly and attentive. While it can get a bit busy at peak hours, the overall experience was enjoyable and worth the visit. Pizookie — hands down the highlight of the meal! Served warm with ice cream on top, it was the perfect balance of gooey, rich, and indulgent. Definitely a must-try and a great way to end the meal.

March 28, 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time at this BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse location! 🍕🍹 We had a great time overall, but there were a couple of hiccups. I tried The Lucky Ducky cocktail 🦆🍹— super cool presentation with a tiny bathtub glass and a floating rubber ducky! 🛁🐤 Not just fun to look at, but tasty too! For food, I got a half BBQ chicken / half Buffalo pizza 🍕🔥— solid choice! We also had the house-made root beer 🥤, which is always a favorite of ours. My wife ordered the wedge salad, but they were out 😩— kind of a letdown. She went with the mozzarella & tomato salad 🍅🧀 instead. It was okay, but not what we really wanted. She did get the White Macadamia Pizookie 🍪🤍 for dessert, which was delicious! Shoutout to Abby 🏆— our server was super busy handling three tables of teenagers plus ours, but she still managed to do a great job! 👏 Would have been 5 stars if they had the wedge salad, but overall, we’d come back! 👍✨

I’ve been to BJ’s a few times, and I have to say, they’ve really turned things around! A few visits ago, I left disappointed with the food quality, but this time, they won me back over. We started with the lemon pepper wings as an appetizer, and they were cooked to perfection—crispy, perfectly flash-fried, and seasoned with just the right amount of dry rub. For my entrée, I had the protein power bowl with salmon, and it was fantastic—flavorful, filling, and exactly what I was craving.

We made a reservation for 6 pm Christmas Eve. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy, which i was surprised at. We ordered drinks, a couple of really fun holiday drinks. We ordered 2 appetizers. One came to the table quickly, and we had to ask about the second before it was brought to the table. Our food was OK, but to be fair, it was Christmas Eve, and I'd bet no one really wanted to be working that night. We waited for the food for a long time. One steak came to the table medium well instead of medium rare . Another steak was reversed as well. Hubbs broccoli was cold. Most of the other dishes were good with little complaint. Our server was friendly and worked with us through the issues. I am thankful they were open and able to serve us, but probably won't revisit this location.

A year has passed since my last review and I’ve got to say that it hasn’t gotten any better. About the only thing left for a to vegetarian order is the Powerbowl and the brussels sprouts. I didn’t care for the Powerbowl because the buffalo cauliflower dominated the dish and it made it too spicy. The waiter put chicken on it even though I had asked for a vegetarian menu and had made a pretty clear I don’t eat meat. So the dish came out with a big old chicken breast sitting on it. Then we ordered the ice cream dessert because it’s half off on Tuesdays and the bill came with it fully charged. Hubby like his chicken wing so that was good. Got to take this restaurant off our list.

Good food ! Average service. Food was awesome but service was just ok. Fish n chips were crispy & juicy . Honey crisp chicken salad was good. Fried calamari was ok , could have been better. Desserts were awesome. Loved the salted caramel pizookie. Service needs improvement. Cutlery needs to be clean. We got dirty spoons and had to get them changed. Restaurant was half empty but Service was slow .

This place’s weakest link by far is their floor staff(managers included) customer service, attention to detail, and their work ethics. They also constantly leave tables dirty, a lot of tables. Staff is making continual laps with their hands empty each way, passing table after table after table that has been dirty for 20+min. It’s y’all job that’ll be affected, not mine. I’m just a paying customer. Oh I sat in the bar. Turned around from my table and asked the bartender to make a drink (my waitress had been nonexistent). Bartender only had one customer nursing a beer. Bartender told me I needed to tell my waitress. Had to wait a while again till I saw her. Great job.

Our sever was great. However, they charged us for the wrong food item and then argued with us about the 10 dollar overcharge. After arguing with the manager got it resolved. Food was unimpressive and overpriced. Gluten free pizza was like chuckee cheese pizza, california club was small and plain for 17 bucks. Portions small. Think you can do better at Texas roadhouse for same food items and better prices and quality and portions. Coffee was good though!

The server was too busy to cover too many tables and even forgot our desert. After reminding him, he has brought it out but it was already cold with ice cream melted half way. But he just left it on table without any word or apology. The desert was indeed ready for quite sometime but no one in the kitchen nor hall cared about it. As we left the restaurant, we also saw a restaurant employee smoking right in front of the restaurant. A great restaurant, it a very bad management. It has ruined our family dinner. I will never go back to this restaurant.

Came here on 3/31. Everything was nice. Our waitress was sweet and very friendly. To the person who did the steak… count your days buddy! Lol My husband asked for it to be well done! When he cut into it, it was not what he asked for and you could see the blood. The waitress took the steak back twice for them to fix it and after having her take the steak back through the restaurants in the air for a third time he decided not to eat it since you could still see the blood. I did not like how his steak was going back and forth and thought they could’ve given him a fresh one done the way he asked for it. So he never was able to try the steak even though that’s what he really went there for.

Long, super long waits for food. It took too long, food was cold when served, and there was no one even asking for a refill of water. Generally BJs are quite good in service and food, but today was terrible

I love this place. I really do. The service just has to be better. We got sat and took forever to get our drink menu. Got drinks with no straws. Some time passes, we place our appetizer order. It arrives, no silverware. We place our food order. TOO much time passes. The adults are served, the kids food is no where to be found. Minutes later, the kids food arrives. The plates and silverware from the appetizers is all over the table. Drinks are empty. I'm not excepting a red carpet service but it totally ruins the desire to eat out. So the simple things, it's not hard.

We use to be frequent visitors of this location and let’s just say it has gone severely down hill. The fact that other places were busy and this place had plenty of parking should have been the clue. This establishment was dirty and filthy - I’ve seen cleaner West Texas gas station bathrooms. Our poor waiter was slammed and did his best but clearly the management was failing him. When we got our food almost an hour later my son’s pasta look like it had been sitting under a heat lamp too long and was dried out. A salad we ordered had spoiled lettuce. My husband’s pizza was cold. It seemed like our food had been waiting under a heat lamp for that hour wait. The manager apologized but it looked like she was having to do that to half the tables in the restaurant. Looking back on it now and how dirty the front of house was - I fear to think what their back of the house looks like (kitchen). Needless to say I hope that poor waiter finds a better job that doesn’t saddle him with 12 tables and the manager be retrained or fired. I will not be returning to this location anytime soon. It’s sad to see what was a very fun place become filthy restaurant with tables that cannot be adequately served.

To Go here is a nightmare. Food is good if they get the order right. Then you tell them your missing items from order and they never come back to fix. You ask for a manager who looks in direction and never comes. We wont be doing that again.

It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been to BJ’s Brewhouse and it will be even longer before returning. Everyone in my party of 4 received cold food but I was the only one who was annoyed enough to say something. Besides being cold it was missing ingredients.. we were in the restaurant for more than 2 hours the service was slow and was it busy yes but not anymore busy than many other restaurants where we could be in and out in the half the time. Very disappointing when trying to have a nice dinner with family before the holidays ..

Sadly this location is one of the worst I've ate in at. Took 15+ minutes for our drinks to be placed with a server, who wasn't even our server, meet us and said herself saying our actual server was "busy" there where a total of 15 sat tables and bar individuals in the place total. Also had 5 servers around your restroom computer for 10+ minutes. Finally had to go up to the group and ask who was my actual, waiter who we saw twice. Once after I asked for him to show up and once at the very end 30+ minutes later. Honestly the limited food that was actually placed correctly to the kitchen was okay but I would never eat here again from the terrible staff and inability to place my food order correctly. Manager who we asked to speak with didn't even provide his name. My advice to anyone would be to avoid this location, not the brand as it unfortunately comes down to a sevice issue and a clear management issue. April 20, 2024 from 1:50pm to around 2:55pm. Also still have yet to recieve a bill, but had time to write an essay. Looks like the food that never came out or came out incorrectly got comped by the Manger we complained to but frankly it doesn't change my opinion I will never be back to this location until a management and sever change has been implemented and even then I would be hesitant.

They over microwaved the rice, over microwaved the mashed potatoes and undercooked the salmon. First time ever coming to a BJ's Restaurant, and I think the last time. Good customer service, but not worthy food for the prices paid. Unfortunate...

Was disappointed with the service. We were told to wait 30 min, but ended waiting over an hour, just to see everyone else get seated and my family still waiting in the lobby. I was asking one of the staff how long it would take for us to get seated, but instead she responded with attitude, which made me and my family feel uncomfortable, so we left. Don’t know if we will come back to this location… I went to ask the lady how long the wait would be, but the lady said “IM SORRY I CANT CONTROL HOW FAST PEOPLE CHEW” i love BJs but i would avoid this location 🫥

Regrettably, I must express my discontent by leaving a 1 Star review due to the treatment we received. The encounter with the manager, Tony, left much to be desired. Our request for a modified drink was met with unnecessary resistance. Despite our willingness to pay the full price, excluding the alcohol for a Shirley Temple was a simple ask. The server, though pleasant, relayed the manager's strict stance on this matter. Politely, we insisted on speaking directly with Tony. His initial demeanor was confrontational as he elaborated on the limited availability of the bathtub for the drinks. He said it’s for people that want the drink. We emphasized our status as paying customers, highlighting the impracticality of wasting alcohol and still wanting to pay the full price. Finally, after recognizing the absurdity of the situation, he relented. It seems as though he should focus more on customer service over being right. In my opinion more focus should be put on the cleanliness of the restaurant. There are too many restaurants in the area to waste your time or money at places that try to make you feel like you are an inconvenience. I do have to note, the server was a really kind young man who was really attentive- the only redeeming quality of this location..

We didn’t eat this time because we couldn’t get a server to come to our table for over 10 minutes. No acknowledgement whatsoever that we were even there. When she finally did come to the table, she asked what we would like to drink. I told her we were ready to order. She then asked “you don’t want anything to drink?” That was it. I said we were leaving. She was very happy. I told her she should not wait over 10 minutes to acknowledge a table. No wonder the restaurant didn’t have many tables at noon

I wasn’t going to post anything, but I just opened up my leftovers that we took to-go because they messed up the order and took ages to get us the correct thing. It started with the server getting my drink wrong (he gave me unsweetened tea when I ordered sweet). Really not a big deal, but when we ordered our food it took a really long time to get to us. One item my husband ordered was missing (he ordered a soup and we never got that) and another was just flat out wrong. We had ordered an extra side of Mac and cheese and we were brought loaded mashed potatoes. Normally, I would have just eaten the potatoes, but I am pregnant and just really wanted the Mac and cheese. So we asked for the Mac and cheese and didn’t see the server again for another 30 minutes. By the time he came back around to us we just wanted the check and he offered to give us the Mac n cheese to-go. I still wanted it, so we waited another 10mins for that to come out. I just opened it and even ate a little, but definitely not Mac n cheese lol

This has been one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had. The takeout team always seems dismissive, and I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for my order. It was incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this location. You’re better off going to the BJ’s in Plano or McKinney.

We ordered the BJs classic pizza with no mushrooms (like we always do). It came back with mushrooms. No big deal, we pointed that out and they bought out another one, bit it was the same pizza.. they picked off a few of the mushrooms and brought it back. Service was extremely slow. I dunno what happened. We've eaten here many times, but they have gone downhill.

Yesterday for my friends birthday we went out to go get desert, we were seated and not seen by a singular waiter for 45 minutes. Keep in mind we had asked to be seen multiple times. Then we ordered online and when we asked to speak to the manager we were told he is making the food in the back. Genuinely unacceptable, there were countless waiters serving others there food but we weren't even seen.

First time going yesterday, very disappointed after hearing it was good. Food took over 1 1/2 then when it arrived, food was not hot and felt like it was sitting out a while. Server was more worried about following around his female servers joking around vs checking on our food. We had one person come to apologize for the wait but didn’t check up after that . Never going back.

For one, never checked in with us, menus , trash were not taken ,kept ignoring each and every one of us, when trying to ask for napkins and as you see none are on the table even after eating. I felt like an animal and thought I change my mind and eat but ordered to go , simply not right I’m a paying customer !

I was excited to go to BJs as this was one of my favorite places in Las Vegas. But this time….By far the worst food I’ve ever had. I ordered the sirloin and grilled chicken. The sirloin was a chunk of meat not a typical flat steak, no seasoning. The chicken was so white it looked like fish and also no seasoning and mushy. The waiter did replace it with the chicken club that was then served with the same terrible chicken and bacon that wasn’t cooked. Service was mediocre at best. I should note that I’m not a picky eater. I’ve maybe sent back food twice in my life. This was just not even edible. I overheard the table next to me and someone else also sending their food back.

if i could rate this location -5 stars I would. 1 star is being generous. we sent back our spinach artichoke dip 2 times because it was still cold. The last time it came back it was still cold and I was too annoyed. we got the salmon and steak. the salmon was very fish and the pilaf was undercooked. Steak had a weird gamey taste to it too. the Spooky Pizookie also was only 1 scoop of ice cream vs the 2 scoops advertised. I was clocked out and pissed about the food. our tab came out for $70+ even with the comped appetizer. never coming back again. waste of my time and money.

It wasn’t crowed for the holiday season however this is the second time we’ve eaten at a BJ’s and gotten the $34 ribeye and will NEVER get it again IF we eat at a BJ’s again. The steak is a horrible cut of steak, it has absolutely no flavor and was overcooked. Not even the A1 sauce was able to make it better! My roasted vegetables which was a few pieces of broccoli and cauliflower and some mushrooms were burnt. My daughter got a Blue Raspberry Candy Rush (kids drink) that was supposed to have whipped cream and sprinkles…it did not and we had to send it back. We only saw our waitress a couple times and mot long enough to say anything to her about our food. BJs will definitely not be on my list of restaurants to go to again.

I ordered a alfredo pasta with shrimp, i asked for the shrimp to be well done. My shrimp was not well done, the sauce for the pasta tasted like white cheddar velveta cheese, the pasta was cold and my silverware was dirty. The service was great, music and ambient was 10/10, the food was not it though.

Our visit was ruined by the horrible food and service. After spending $120 on 5 meals, only 1 of my family members actually liked their food. The chicken club sandwich tasted like grocery store lunch meat, the veggie hamburger was so awful I could only eat the bread, the fries were cold and my son barely touched his bacon cheeseburger as it was undercooked and not flavorful. Lastly, the service was friendly but extremely slow and it took 15 minutes each time for the server to reappear. I never got a refill and had to drink watered down soda. We wanted dessert but unfortunately had to place an order with the To-Go pickup area because our waiter took too long to come back. Sad to say, that will be our last visit.

We visited this BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse on Thursday, January 15th. We were originally planning to go to In-N-Out, but when we saw BJ’s, we remembered that one of our friends had mentioned their pizza was good. So my wife and I decided to give it a try. We ordered a large chicken and bacon pizza and a broccoli soup since we were very hungry. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The pizza had a very strong and unpleasant smell, and it was obvious that the chicken was not fresh. We only managed to eat two slices and didn’t even want to take the rest to go because of the smell and taste. The broccoli soup was just as bad. It didn’t taste like broccoli at all, there were no visible pieces of broccoli, and it was extremely overheated, clearly not fresh. The restaurant was almost empty, yet the service was poor. We didn’t enjoy anything — not the pizza, not the soup, and not the overall experience. The smell of old food, especially the chicken, completely ruined the meal. I do not recommend this location at all.

We specifically choose BJ’s for a special occasion tonight. We were seated then that’s where the trouble started. We sat at our table and watched other parties that came in after us receive service. 17 minutes went by and I finally asked the hostess to send over a server. 26 minute mark and we finally were greeted by a server. By this time we all knew what we wanted and ordered appetizers, dinner and drinks. They brought out my wife’s dinner side salad before appetizers. It was just a horrible experience. I spoke with a manager and all they could say was that the server was overloaded with other tables. (There were several empty tables in the restaurant). It was not a busy night. Anyway, they only offered excuses and the service was terrible. Our server only stopped by the table to bring food, never to ask for refills or how we were doing. It’s going to be a long while before I come back. Huge disappointment! Do better BJ’s!

My ahi tuna salad for >$24 was a total joke…. Shaved ahi. I got maybe 2 ozs of protein on my salad. Very disappointing.

I very rarely leave reviews but this was a bit ridiculous. We arrived at dinner time about 6:30 pm. Plenty of tables available and plenty of servers (they were not short staffed). We waited 10 minutes for a waiter to come by our table - no waters, no order, no greeting except for from the hostess. Finally, I flagged someone down and the waitress just smiled and kept walking past us but did not even stop with me trying to get her attention. After 15 minutes of zero attention (again, not even a water or hello) - we left. There were plenty of servers just standing around and looking into the restaurant. We just couldn’t get anyone to come to us. Very poor management.

We attempted to eat here 11-25-25. We arrived at 7:05 and was told it would be a 15-20min wait. At 30 mins we were told the kitchen was backed up. At 45 mins we were still waiting. The hostess was less than kind. When I asked to speak to a manager, she refused. She really didn’t care. When we finally decided to leave we said good. Clearly you could care less and we could care less about ever returning. We walked next door to Uncle Julio’s and had the best experience and great food. Most BJ’s food has been sub par lately anyway and the service is always bad. We only tried because it was where my son had wanted to go for his birthday. Uncle Julio’s took better care and made sure his dinner was special. We won’t be choosing this place ever again. There are too many other good options to choose in Allen.
