truly one of my favorite bars in astoria. its got that small neighborhoody feeling to it, drinks are great & the bartenders are always so friendly ❤️

I honestly don’t know where to begin . A New York City bar with it all . The bartender/owner , probably hard to come by one of the most energetic bartenders and customer friendly man I have met in many years behind the stick . This is what New York City bartending one was. This is everything you would want to have and see in a bar. He sets a vibe second to none. He’s a master of the craft and most important of all he knows how to speak to people something that is long forgotten within the trade. I think there are a lot of bartenders and our owners could take a lesson from this man. This is how you work and run a bar. I strongly recommend stopping in to this place an absolute gem.

My girlfriend recently held her birthday party in the back patio area of the bar and the experience was better than we could have asked for. Our friends couldn’t stop raving about the place when they arrived and the staff was professional and polite from the front end to the back. This place fits right in with Astoria’s vibes and I will definitely be coming back for more enjoyable nights.

We had our engagement party here and we had such an amazing time!! Aaron and John are literally the best and helped us so much and made sure we had an amazing experience. We had 50 people and everyone’s been talking about how amazing they both were, how cute of a bar it was, how nice the backyard area was, and how good of mixed drinks (particular the old fashioned and the raspberry lemon drop martinis) and beer selection they had. Can’t recommend Rosalie’s enough!

This bar is so cool. You’re not going to get anything like it in the neighborhood. Fun, high quality cocktails and the bartenders are killer. They could be charging way more tbh. Backyard is a huge flex, and sometimes they have popups serving food! I was there for Bell & Ruth’s sandwich pop up, so delicious.

My friend and I stopped in for a quick drink to start off our night. We both ordered “Jill’s Favorite” which is a brown butter espresso martini. This is by far one of the better espresso martinis that I’ve had! We went around 9pm and the bar was super crowded and it was pretty loud inside - we love that, but keep that in mind if that’s not your thing.

Broadway needed Rosalie's. Gorgeous, sleek bar with great cocktails and solid draft list. Always a great crowd and nice vibe no matter what day of the week/weeekend. Staff is great, all neighborhood locals. 10/10

If you haven't been yet you need to go! The prices are amazing. The HH is one of the best in the neighborhood. The crew is amazing, friendly, informative, and all around, just great. Delcious drinks. Great beer selection. This is by far the best addition to the neighborhood! Added to the rotation of the usual bars without hesitation. Come here, enjoy it, and you will not regret it. I absolutely love this place. Cheers, I can't wait to go back.

Nice new bar with a sweet lil cocktail menu and decent selection of cans, wines and drafts. Staff is a whole bunch of swell standup people who've worked at bars across the neighborhood, so this really is a great new addition to the avenue/neighborhood. Best of luck!

Not sure the point of this bar. Doesn't really fill a niche in the neighborhood. Volume level was good for conversation which was nice. But they don't even have coffee for their coffee based drinks, and that kinda feels like a reasonable expectation for a cocktail bar. Generic beer menu. Really no reason to go here if it's not your closest bar as far as I can see. Hopefully they improve and find their draw

Unfortunately, this cocktail bar was a big disappointment. The drinks were overly sweet, syrupy, and barely drinkable—definitely not worth the price. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. The bartender on January 26 around 9 PM was incredibly rude to customers, showing no regard for basic hospitality. While the bar may have a decent vibe, it’s not enough to make up for the poor quality drinks and unprofessional staff. Would not recommend.

I came here with my girlfriend from an event and she wasn't feeling well. We were having water, she used the bathroom for some time and even had some air in the back patio (where no one else was occupying, as it was raining at the time) I understand they dont want liabilities, but one man working here, with a mustache and cap with ponytail, was incredibly rude and pushing us out of the bar and pushing for us to pay and leave asap. Even though we were paying customers, tipped well, and tried to be as understanding as possible, and without a doubt did not bother any other patrons, he still was extremely rude and pushy very unnecessarily. It may be too much to ask for compassion for the situation, but he showed no understanding for something that didnt bother anyone else, especially for a girl who was just trying to feel better. Shame on that guy... he was a jerk 100% and reflects extremely poorly on the business practices here. I would not be surprised if they dont make others welcome in similar circumstances.

Mediocre cocktails and not a great selection of drinks. Been living in this neighborhood for over 10 years and never had such rude service. I’m surprised that it is rated so high on google because it was not worth it. I do not recommend coming here. Plenty of other great bars in the area to go to!

The atmosphere of the bar is genuinely great but the staff member working tonight is doing a real disservice to the place and to the job itself. I walked in around 12:20 to wait for a friend. I greeted the bartender politely and waited a bit. Later I asked, “How are you?” but instead of any response, he just looked at me and said, “What do you want?” I was a bit thrown off but I calmly replied and asked what beers they had. Without saying a word he just pointed vaguely and said “These” without naming any of them. Feeling a bit uncomfortable I decided to just get a cocktail instead but again he immediately said “no.” His tone and body language were clearly dismissive and then with just a look and a head gesture he made me feel like I should leave. I didn’t argue I just quietly walked out. But honestly, if it had been someone else they might have responded to that kind of disrespect in a very different way. It was extremely upsetting to be treated like that especially in a place with such a nice vibe. I hope the management takes this seriously because one person’s attitude can ruin the entire experience. This is the first time in my life that I’m leaving a negative review for a business because it was truly terrible…
