To my surprise the pizza was really good. They are using a good mozerella cheese. The Greek salad was made fresh and was delicious and I didn't use any dressing ( they forgot it) but it wasn't missed. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area..very good and reasonably priced.

Absolutely love their pizzas. Its hard to find a place that makes pizzas that my wife can enjoy as its not particularly her cup of tea. Whats also hard to find is a place that gives marinara dipping sauce for your garlic knots.

I’ve been to just about every location they have if not all of them and they never let me down. The pizza is amazing, but don’t miss out on their Caesar Salad as well as their garlic knots! Also try their mozzarella sticks because you will be in heaven!

Best family owned franchise in NYC. Slices are big and sousy. Crust was crispy and delicious. They will satisfy you, unlike the thin crust shops with no cheese and overpriced pizza. You will never go wrong with Rosa Pizza.

Rosa's pizza is my new pizza spot 😋 the servers are super nice and the place is always clean! The pizza tastes pretty good and the beef pattie too 👍 😋 my go to here is a pepperoni slice 1 beef pattie and a snapped apple or a coke 👌

Ordered a 2 liter large ginger aie and six cokes and large Hawaiian and medium pepperoni but received both large pizzas. bill was $72 gave driver $80 expecting change but he just waited so I just gave him another $20 bill still expecting change but he said thanks and left. The food was DELICIOUS but it’s literally 1 block away didn’t deserve $28 tip. Great place but won’t be calling for delivery again. Hire honest drivers and allow customers to choose the tip im not into them deciding the tip especially when order was wrong. I may go again but there’s another pizza Place across the street so be forewarned.

I’ve only ordered through delivery services so can only say it’s as classic NY pizza as you can get- absolutely delicious. Only challenge is that delivery services usually end up delivering on bicycle which doesn’t work out that great. But fantastic pizza.

Rosa’s in Astoria has some of the best (if not the best) pizza in NYC! I usually go for a slice of the margherita and grandma pies. The sauce and cheese are in perfect harmony, the crust doughy and crunchy at the same time. This place is always clean and service always great.

My favorite pizza place in Astoria. Been coming here since they first opened here. Love their white slices and chicken rolls. Also had their bacon chicken ranch slices, beef patties with cheese and ravioli slices. They have other locations as well. Also try their Sicilian slices.

Great clean and bright open space inside for dining. Tons of specialty pies available by thr slice! You can even smell the intoxicating aroma of the pizzas cooking from a block out. Slices are sturdy enough to hold all their toppings. Definitely check it out!

Some of the best food I’ve had at a “quick slice” type of pizzeria. All the different rolls and sandwiches that they also had were fantastic.

Really love their Grandma’s Pizza. A perfectly cooked crust with super tasty red sauce and a very nicely salty cheese. So yummy. And plenty to eat for two meals for two people.

Came in on a random Thursday late night. The staff was really friendly and attentive. I was coming from a funeral where I was having a rough night, and coming into Rosa’s really brought my spirits up. Not to mention that the pizza was delicious. Really good siscilian & grandma slices. Not such a fan of the chicken Caesar pizza. Lasagna was tasty and very large. Friendly staff, nice seating area. Plus they're pretty busy so everything's always pretty fresh out of the oven. Overall a very solid option.

Pizza is very delicious. Would give 5-stars if upcharge for using a credit card wasn't so significant. Payment method should not affect price so drastically. You are doing business in 2021 in a gentrifying neighborhood. If this cost of doing business needs to be passed on to the customer, just increase the price of your items. Don't tell customers one price and then sneakily add a credit card fee. This is dishonest.

Rosa's Pizza is a great neighborhood pizzeria. Their slices are wide (six slices per pie), they have an excellent variety of toppings, and their staff is always friendly. I took a star away because they don't usually have grated cheese out, and I'm tired of every pizzeria in the city acting like grated cheese is some optional extra you need to beg for. But their pizza is great, and the other pizzerias nearby don't have grated cheese either 🤷‍♂️

Very good pizza. The staff was very nice. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that they told us 10 minutes for food and waited probably double that to get the food. Listen I understand having to wait for food. But don't say one time and then double that and make us wait. If we were waiting for the food knowing we would only be there 10 minutes and it was more than that, we could be late to somewhere else. This is not a huge factor, just a small thing to mention. It is great pizza, just give yourself some extra time.

As far as food goes, you definitely get your money's worth for $3. Ample cheese and ample sauce. With a thin crust just thick enough to stop it from collapsing under its own weight. The sauce has a good flavor, but when there is this much cheese you have to increase the seasoning (excluding salt) otherwise it dilutes the flavor of the sauce, and tastes bland. Crust flavor is pretty much neutral. 4.3 Stars.

Pizza with toppings to the max. The price and quality were alright and worth it, but I wouldn't say anything blew me away while eating here. Service was on point as well when ordering for a pickup. I feel like this place does alright and gets the job done if you are looking for some local pizza.

Tried a variety; Regular Pizza Slice, Vegetable, Buffalo Chicken, and Salad Pizza Slice. It was pretty good! Little hard to keep all of the toppings on but that just means they were pretty generous with them.

As slices go, some are better than others. Thicker crust slices seem to be the best option here. Overall, solid choice though not necessarily amazing.

I'm still going to give them a 3 so as to not tank the rating (and would consider changing based on how this is handled), but a recent transaction has me considering other options after being a customer for 15+ years at various locations. We ordered via Door dash (at the Astoria location) a salad slice for my girlfriend who is extremely allergic to dairy. She has had this slice many times at Rosa's with no problem but we have never ordered delivery. The salad slice (dairy free) was an option on DoorDash, but when it showed up, it was instead the "Chicken Caesar" slice with dairy smothered all over it. We called Rosa's and the guy who answered says "we don't make that anymore" to which we respond "well it was an option on DoorDash???" to which he responds "I don't know how to help you." Really? That's the response? No apology? No confessing they should have been on top of things and updated their DoorDash menu? Rather than offering a comp or offering an alternative to be delivered, they leave it at that? Making us pay for something we absolutely did not ask for and offering no viable solution to someone who now cannot eat the dinner we ordered? Amazing how the lack of foresight on the business's end ends up being the customer's problem.

The pizza slices are large, but they are sitting out and get reheated in front of you. It depends on the kind of pizza you like.. we liked the chicken Caesar and buffalo chicken slices, but the margarita and ravioli slices were so bad we threw them away. We got these 4 slices to go and the service was just okay. No interest in returning.

Delicious! I had the ham with pineapples slice. It was very good, and a good size too. They have plenty of tables and a restroom. Parking is a little tough, there's metered parking, but you need to get lucky and find one. I'll definitely be going back! The crew is very fast and my slice was very good! I'll be back!

I have been going to this place for a few years now and as good as the pizza is, the experience is usually unpleasant due to the staff. The man at the register is RUDE. The white looking guy making the pizzas is also very rude, and was arguing with the only nice person (a Latino man taking orders) about the quantity of my order as if I wasn’t bringing them business. Overall a strange vibe and energy in the place. Dude at the register truly needs some customer service training. Smiling could help :)

The pizza is good enough- it's the weirdly rude and curt staff member I have prob with. Honestly, the service used to always be consistently great - nice folks. Like most of these locations, Astoria just rides on the good name of Rosa’s Maspeth. Pizza not nearly as good as Rosa’s Maspeth, but not as bad as Great Neck Rosa’s (thank god). Why is half the place is a beverage warehouse- who knows? Do Astoria yuppies even care? Better off driving to Maspeth to get a proper slice in a proper pizzeria. Peace

Liked the pizza from here. Ordered 3 times, but on 4th order my freshly delivered pie had ants crawling all over the inside of the pizza box. I couldn't understand, but figured that maybe where the pizza boxes are stacked in the restaurant could have an ant issue in the area. Either way I had to throw out the pizza. The gentleman who answered the phone didn't seem to care one way or the other when I called to let the restaurant know.

I would 1st start out saying that I have been eating at this location since it opened. I was in the city for surgery from Hudson Valley, so I convinced my wife to go since I haven't eaten there in about 4 years or so & would love to get 1 of there famous Sicilian pies...my wife also got a ravioli slice for the road home. We both were very put off & disappointed 😞 with the flavor & taste. If I had to describe the taste, it would be like opening a can of chef boy R D burger meat and pouring it onto the pizza dough and spreading mozzarella all over it 🤢...I had to apologize repeatedly to my wife because it's not the same as you guys used to be with the taste...what happened?! Are you under new management or new cooks?? I'm sorry but whatever you guys did. You fell off the wagon way off!! I'M SORRY TO SAY THAT YOU LOST A LONG TIME, CUSTOMER. Ordered a regular cheese pie. In the options they have “1st half toppings” and “2nd half toppings.” We chose half one thing, half another. The pie came and it was all over instead of half and half. When we called to complain, they told us we didn’t specify half and half, which we absolutely did. They did not offer a refund or any way to make it right for us. This place sucks.

Yea the pepperoni pizza was so oily. I didn’t finish the pizza . The garlic knots were okay. Liked the quantity.

I like pizza, good pizza, bad pizza, I just like pizza. For the first time I didn’t like my pizza, it was squished to 1 side like the delivery guy held the box vertically, the pizza was undercooked and chewy, and just wasn’t what I expected. I know pizza in a box steaming away doesn’t help, I can’t blame them for that part, but not 1 single bite was crispy, just a sloppy mess. Sorry, but this is not worth it, go to subway or something instead. 2 stars, will only eat again by accident.

Moderate at best. Super fast service but the Food was not what we anticipated with the reviews. We had this food delivered to us via door dash and was very quick. That’s why we give them stars. I’m sure these are great people but we did not like the food. Below is what we ordered and what we think…, (Sicilian pie) ❌ - crust is hard, doesn’t taste like a pizza. It’s just very bready with low taste. (Buffalo wings)❌- the sauce was almost tasteless and the wings were over cooked… (Baked ziti) ❌- Bland flavor not much taste to it! Quick service and neatly packed ✅

I give it a 1 star rating because one of single employee. I don't know his name but it's an older Hispanic man who is EXTREMELY RUDE. This is not a first time experience either. Everytime we come he is rude, and rushes all customers through their order, whether the place is crowded or empty. Leaves such a bad taste in your mouth when you approach a business with manners and politeness and you are attacked with such a disgusting attitude. I walked out without getting my food because it's not wor This will be the last time I give this business my money. I really hate to do this because their pizza is great, but when I stopped in today, none of the people preparing and serving the food had their masks on correctly. One had his mask below his nose, another who was making pizza had his mask below his nose and mouth, and another guy came out to put a pizza in the oven with no mask on at all. Sadly, I cannot get food here anymore because I can’t trust the people who MAKE THE FOOD to wear proper PPE. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Foods probably good. I wouldn't know because these clowns refuse to delivery to my apartment. Most head scratching part is my apartment is litterally a 7 minute drive. Not sure how a store can be so unwilling to serve there customers. Guy on phone seemed happy to deny me an order. Husband ordered from there multiple times over the years but for some reason typed our address and said no. We don't deliver there and hung up. I asked a worker if they had outlets because my phone was dead and I had an emergency to deal with. They responded “no” and I decided to check the bathroom, which did not have any locks on it (safety concern). I went into the bathroom the first time to charge my phone and use the restroom, but someone knocked so I figured I should leave out of respect. Then, I went in a second time when nobody was using it to charge my phone (I only wanted to charge it for 5 minutes). After 30 seconds of being in the restroom, the same worker repeatedly knocked on the door, even after I told him someone was in there. After about 3 rounds of knocking I opened the door, and the worker said “are you good,” to which I responded “yes I’m just charging my phone.” The worker then said “you can’t do that I have customers waiting to use the restroom” and I apologized and left. When I was leaving, the worker said “I told you that already,” which he did not express to me originally. All he had said were there were no outlets, he never told me about a policy where customers weren’t allowed to charge our phones. The customer waiting for the restroom did not even knock; the worker knocked for her, which was very strange. After I had left, the worker kept giving dirty looks to our group. I was polite and left when I was asked to, so I’m not sure where the hostility is coming from.

I use to love this place but there prices are flat out ridiculous, I bought one plain slice of pizza for myself and i ordered chicken Alfredo for my son, just for the Alfredo alone was $27.00 👎🏾 and wasn’t good at all, not long ago I paid $16.00 for this, the total came out to $31 that is plain out ridiculous, I will never give this business again total rip off, I could’ve bout groceries

Made an order online, the restaurant accepted the order so I would be charged, then closed the restaurant early and never sent out the order. Since it was a local app, I can't get my refund processed until after the holidays are over. Never again.

Horrible I placed an order on Uber eats penne à vodka with grilled chicken They forgot to add my grilled chicken in pasta and pasta was extremely dry !! And my garlic nots were burnt !! When I called the restaurant to make them aware of the issue he apologize for forgetting my chicken in my pasta and suggested I call Uber for a refund For the chickenbut stating that there’s no way my garlic knots are burnt as you can see from the picture they are Burnt this was the most horrible experience .. i’ve walked in and ordered food for them and it was good so I decided to order some more obviously if your not right in front of their face to check your order the service is horrible and guy whom answered phone was rude !

This is now the third time when a pizza has been delivered that looks like it was carried on its side. All of the cheese has slid off of the pizza and is in a clump in each of the corners. I will not be ordering again. Three strikes and you're out.
