They put out a surprisingly fresh and tasty sandwich here. The small location is easy to miss and quite humble, but it’s very convenient, being right between downtown Athens and the Normal Town district, and across from Piedmont Hospital. They had a very good sanitation rating and were very friendly. There’s not a lot of parking there, but it probably doesn’t get very crowded anyway. I think it was pretty wheelchair accessible.

You guys are AWESOME. I had a horrible experience with DoorDash and used my credits to order from you. The sandwich you made at a VERY odd hour was perfect and MUCH needed. Thank you so much for working like you do and when you do. Keep up the good work!

Today on December 6 2024 this evening, I encountered the most impeccable customer service from a young lady named Lindsey! She was very professional even before she serviced me. She acknowledged me. She made sure she kept communication with other customers and Everything was fresh. If something was missing, she accommodated me and gave me more options because of her service I would definitely visit this subway again!

This location is the best in town. It is always stocked with fresh food. Plus they have a covered patio! MOST of the staff is friendly, but not all. Late at night they sometimes only have one person working, so the line can easily get backed up.

This subway on Prince Ave is good not great. It has a nice outside area to sit if you do not mind some car traffic noise. The place is very clean and spacious, however, the service is very slow and rude. My pickup order was an hour late. The worker was on her phone while she was already backed up with orders.

Large restaurant plenty of seating inside and outside. Very clean, pleasant staff, food is typical Subway. The problem is the parking lot. Outdoor seating splits lot in two so you are going in and out the same narrow drive. Try coming in the side street and parking beside the building rather than in front of it. Less congestion. Homeless person came in asking for meal. Might want to consider safety issues if you are a woman alone. Staff didn't intervene.

Door were lock @11:45pm due to another shift not getting things together for night shift which was told to me... Alot of business was loss due to this and as a Company that wants to be open for several more years, this can't happen. Team work makes the dream work... Mind you, the store suppose to or have a sign that says 3am...

I ordered a tuna sub and footlong pretzel online and managed to pick it up in 30 minutes. I checked in the bag before leaving and was missing my pretzel. Judging from these reviews this is common. However my sub was fine and built as I ordered it.

So I gave 2 stars bc the workers were very nice, but the experience wasn’t. Neither of the workers were wearing a mask, or if they had one it was pulled down and they were talking to customers over the food as they were making. I also did a mobile order and waited until it said it would be ready before coming in and it hadn’t even been made yet. So I had to wait another 20 min after already waiting 15 before coming in. The workers were nice, but I don’t see myself coming back to this location anytime soon.

Poor girl working by herself. Store is open 24/7. Didn't necessarily seem like a safe work environment for a college kids. The line got backed up real quick once we got there. She seemed a little distracted but I waived that off. The lettuce was on its way out- getting Brown. Plus- the store appeared clean and was bigger than most subways. To the owner- SHE NEEDED HELP!

Multiple times I have tried to give this location another chance. The past 4 times I have made a stop at this location they are not open on time and are missing half of the sub stuff they need, from bread to lettuce and tomatoes. This is by far the worst location I have ever visited and won’t be back. Management of this location is the worst I’ve ever seen.

I go there often they changed the meatballs to be mostly bread taste like garbage I always go with a guest I dropped close to $30 on that poor quality food let me go back there again if you're smart you won't go there either

Ordered online just to be told they’ve run out of ingredients to make my sandwiches. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just cancel the order or call me when they realized they didn’t have the stuff instead of waiting for me to get there. I get asked 5 times if I wanted another sandwich and I kept telling them I just wanted a refund. But no manger or supervisor is there just great now I have to go through my bank to get my money back. Should have just ordered from fire house.

This Subway me and my husband went to and the women here was so messed up on Drugs They couldn't even fix my food right this is how my husband wrap looked. Never gonna go to this Subway Again

Rude customer service & if I was buying a sandwich for myself I would have went elsewhere. (Sharonda/Shalonda) unsure of her name because she had no name tag. She made it obvious she did not want to be there. I’m unsure why people get jobs working with the public with these type of demeanor. I spoke with the manager who was very pleasant I think her name was Cola, however I forgot the name of the person that made my sandwich. She needs more training if she is going to be in the front dealing with customers.

We placed a mobile order for 3 subs, picked them up and went home for dinner. After opening our subs, we noticed that half of the vegetables we requested were missing, there was no cheese, and our footlongs were made with only enough meat to cover a 6-inch, if that. We went back to get a refund and we’re told there was no manager in store to give us a refund and to come back the next morning. Jeff was extremely rude, you would think he was the one paying for our subs. Never again!!

I received terrible service by the woman who waited on us on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at approximately 5PM. I knew I should have left when I ordered a footlong chicken MexiCali, and that woman got out a 6 inch piece of bread. The only thing worse than the service by that woman was the taste of the cold, soggy sandwich. I want my money back! Usually, this Subway has very good service, however, the service I received was below par. The only saving grace of that Subway is folks don't usually last too long there, so maybe she'll be gone when I decide to return in the Christmas season of 2023.

Ordered online and went in and only had 1 type of bread so I asked for a refund and only told me to come back tomorrow for a refund. I have work in the morning I can’t do that. She was very rude.

I do not recommend. 1st time: (06/18) in the morning my footlong took 1hour and 18 mins to made from online. And it wasn’t even made right. Had this hot as so auch I don’t want on it cause I had a bad headache. 2nd time: (06/18) ordered at 11pm. Got there at 1106pm. Doors was locked. The times on the door say they close at 3AM. Another person waiting told me they were on lunch. So no one was operating. Multiple people came to the door to get food and they just left and did not wait like the rest of us. I would’ve left as well but I already paid online and didn’t want to have to deal with this place ever again. I waited for about 30 mins. Left came back. I then went in and my order wasn’t even made at all. I then waited for him to finish another customers order then start on mine. And all 3 of my simple footlongs had the same mistake on it. All of them were on regular bread when I put flatbread. I do not recommend. 1 star

Tonight...it's not about speed. It's about efficiency. Finish with a preceding order before you start on someone else's especially when customers are clearly not together. But yes, you were bizarrely slow! 30 minutes after working 13 hrs? How would you broach the subject of someone performing poorly on your shared time? And you shaking your head when I was practicing safe distancing in these deadly times provides another fault. How are there good reviews? Must be from day shift because this isn't the 1st time this location has failed evenings. Lucky for you, I will never return and I'll be sure to tell my coworkers.

Service is horrible at Night Never Enough workers in the store to help and assist customers they're always out of some type of food product weather is lettuce pickles olives they're always out. Rude workers and workers stop severing when they want not during store houres thats posted on the front door. If Tabatha is still this store manager she needs to do better.

What a joke of a restaurant. I got a huge nasty chunk of mold in my drink. Brought it to the attention of the staff and they whisked it away so no one could see it. No apology. They didn't clean the drink machine. No refund. When I called Subway corporate to make a complaint, they sent it over to the owner. After several days of not getting a response, I called back. I was informed that the owner LIED and stated that he called and apologized to me. Making a mistake is one think. Failing to correct it and lying about it is disgusting. I'll never be back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else go either.

When I came into this subway I wanted to order a sandwich but I ended up leaving because the two women working and making food were NOT wearing masks and both were sniffling and coughing, one woman wipes her nose with her arm, during a pandemic you should not be at work, let alone preparing food while sick and not wearing a mask. Update: Friday September 17, came in to order two foot-longs and the staff was rude and unconsidered and even gave me attitude. I was telling the sand which artist what I wanted and he got mad and aggravated at me that I wasn’t telling him fast enough. I do not recommend this subway

Absolutely awful experience multiple times here. One single employee will always provide lies that he is unable to make a sub when its late at night because he wants to be outside smoking a cigarette with his friends. If you need food late at night then good luck.

When making my sandwich the spinach contained a moth. The lady ignored the moth and continued making the sandwich. This is after order Uber pick up they failed to call me and tell me they don’t even have my food items. So after being understanding about that and then having to wait in line for my sandwich…a moth sandwich. They failed to cancel my Uber eats pick up order so I’m out 20 bucks. You guys are disgusting. They did not take out the spinach. They continued to serve it.

Didn’t even get a chance to order my food. The black lady with crisscross eyes was so rude about helping me pick out my bread that I just had to leave. Would not recommend giving them any business at all.

This place can never stay consistent , always out of something! Can't really see how you go at night, thinking you gonna get a sub and the doors locked, always something . Credit card machine down only accepting cash. And the employees always complaining. Just leave if you unhappy. Better yet please just close, the store so another, restaurant can be at that location, that wants to make money and make customers happy.

1 star is generous. Do not come here if: 1) you’re in a hurry or want to run in a grab a “quick bite”. Even if you ordered ahead online, I assure you it has not even been started until well after you’ve arrived. 2) you want to get what you actually ordered. They will do as they please, never how you ordered it. EVEN IF BY SOME MIRACLE THEY'RE ACTUALLY STOCKED OF EVERYTHING THEY SALE - it still won’t be correct Hands down the worst subway I’ve ever been to. This one is the closest to my house (less than 5 min) so I have frequented it on many occasions. trust me. Save yourself the time and money

save yourself the money and do not go here. i walked in and the atmosphere was awful already. i started to order my sub before really looking at the food if i would’ve looked first i would have walked out without anything. the cheese looked absolutely disgusting. the containers look like they have never been cleaned. they didn’t have any lettuce out but i asked for it anyways and the worker gave me a horrible look like he couldn’t believe i wanted lettuce. so extremely rude and i paid $10 for my sub and will be throwing it straight in the trash can. i am genuinely scared to eat this after seeing the food and how disgusting everything was. i will NEVER go back to this location.

She was very rude. the sub was sitting up on the corner with bread and meat. I heard him ask her but she never said anything when he said do you have the pick up order. not finished or covered when I arrived. there was customers she was helping at the register. When I say the lady flipped on the young man for making my pick up order. but she never answered him when he asked about the sub with the meat and bread on it. I was shocked that she would scold at him in front of customers. It was a nice gesture that he ask what the order was and name . Bc i was standing there for a while and no one said anything while I was waiting in line. Honestly, if I could have hugged that young man, I would have. It's hard to find good employees and no one deserves to be belittled. I wish he knew his rights as an employee. He could have report that treated that I witness to the EEOC. The place was very clean that I can say. It was also smelling good in there. But what I witness was horrible, no one should be talked to in that manner in a workplace.But she still made the sub wrong. She forgot the oreango. forgot to cut it into 4 like it was noted on the order.
