The food is amazing! Never have had a bad meal. Our server, Loni was the best! Very attentive and you could tell she loves her job. The atmosphere was good but did not give it five stars because it could use some updating to the inside. Do yourself a favor and go to Lascas’s for dinner! There were four of us and three of us had the crab legs. They are so good and come half cracked so you do not need to do the work. Takeout from there is amazing also. We are always getting their salads and their dressing to go.

Lasca's Restaurant really hit the nail on the head. We went to dinner to celebrate and occasion. I highly recommend getting a reservation several hours to a day ahead of time as they are typically very busy. We ordered the USDA prime Queen cut prime rib with lobster tail and the special cajin mahi mahi over linguine with Alfredo and shrimp. Both entrees were superb with plenty of leftovers to come home. The lobster was also perfectly cooked and was a large portion. I highly recommend Lasca's for a nice Italian steakhouse menu and feel.

Before you read- I strongly suggest calling hours before for a reservation, even if it’s for 2 people. This was my first time at Lasca’s and I can’t wait to go back! We started off with calamari, which is finally an appetizer that could easily feed 4 people. (Trust me, we usually order 3 appetizers to satisfy everyone). We both got the queen cut prime rib (one with lobster and the other with Alaskan king crab) It was delicious! It was worth every penny. I was blown away with the size of the lobster and the amount of crab legs. The queen cut could have pulled off being king cut, it was massive! Ask for Tracey P, she was such an amazing staff member, super friendly and bubbly. 10 star service!

My last visit was in the late 1980s. I so loved this place. I took my husband for his birthday tonight after all these years and it was amazing!!!! The service Casey was so good she was like an old friend! The food king crab and steak was beyond our expectations!! The appetizers were so good that we could have had triple for dinner. My husband has a serious extensive background in food service and he was so happy with it all!

The food was amazing the service was on point. Portions are huge if your ever in elmira you just must go. Only open after 5pm for dinner. *edit so we went back and ordered take out and on my the food was just as yummy

Spontaneous trip to Auburn ended in a great surprise! I ordered the special. I believe it was beef tenderloin with a Roquefort cream sauce, roasted potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Usually as a chef i'm disappointed when I eat out but not this time! Such a pleasant surprise. Wait staff were pleasant. My meal was a good sized portion, fresh, hot, and delicious. I will be visiting again.

There’s a lot of Italian options in Central New York, and they all have a unique style and taste. While the flavor of everything we ate at Lasca’s was delicious, it was a bit too rich and salty for my tastes. Staff was great and it’s certainly a popular place. I know many others rave about it. If you like your Italian on the lighter side, this may not be exactly to your liking, but for all others - dig in and enjoy!

First time here for our fifth year anniversary, very busy so everything took a while, the bread and tomato oil were delicious, calamari was slightly undercooked but good. Ordered the steak and scallops special, steak had an overpowering smoke smell on it that was hard to get past, and a thick slab of rubbery inedible bacon wrapped around it. I was charged a 10 fee to make the baked potato loaded which was just a thick dry slab of cheeses few crumbles of bacon. The “sautéed” mushrooms were wet and cold no cook on them
