Party of 6 adults. Every dish amazing. Great service, waitress wonderful. Very busy. Pricey but worth it. Like most businesses their web page not maintained well. Actual prices higher than web site. Will go back, large portions. However did not appreciate a processing fee. I paid the $200 in cash. So I had to deduct fee from tip, bad business, no excuse to charge this for cash payment.

My husband and I come to Lascas every Birthday and our Anniversary. We have never had a bad experience. We like the table by the kitchen. It is great for 2 and we love the smell of the food cooking. The waitresses and waiters are so pleasant and usually come and check on us to see if we need anything. The food..WOW..outstanding..We always get the Prime Rib and Australian lobster tail. Always take half home because we fill up on bread and the sauce they bring with it. Finonimal! (Sp) . The restaurant is clean and inviting. The bar drinks are very good and made to order..I highly recommend this restaurant....

I am so glad we stopped here tonight. This is a really great restaurant. They were full but has full dinners at the bar. It was amazing. My French onion soup was delicious. The seafood looked amazing and my veal was really tender. The bar had a Harvey Wallbanger for me and our dessert of Coconut Cream pie was very tasty. Not too sweet or heavy. The staff at the bar were truly amazing. We will certainly come back. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place as the best in Auburn and in the top 10 of CNY restaurants.

Always a staple for date night, never had a bad experience. We even pushed it when out 9 year old wanted to have a "fancy" birthday dinner. They did wonderful even cut the cake we brought and everything. Amazing service and very reliable food!

We made reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. The hostess was very nice and our server was over to ask for drink orders very quickly. The food was excellent, the portions were huge(boxes were needed by 5 out of 6 of us) and our server was fun but professional all evening. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back!!!!

A local’s Italian restaurant with excellent authentic food with large portions. The service was excellent as well. I had Chicken Marsala and my wife had Chicken Piccata. Both of us took a portion of our dinners home. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

New Year's Eve was very busy, but it was worth the wait. The food was cooked to perfection. The desserts were a delight. The young ladies manning the counter did a wonderful job with the amount of people served. Highly recommend!

Our server Justin was fantastic, friendly, and attentive without being interruptive. He had all the tables to himself in a side room, including a large party of 8, and was running everything like a well-oiled ship. As for Lasca's, the food was delicious as always, and the portions were huge. Be prepared to get some boxed to have for lunch the next day!

I was there for a bowling banquet last Friday night. The prime rib was awesome. The warm tomatoe dip for the bread was decadent. I loaded up on the bread and had left over prime rib.

It was a bit loud, but it was a Friday night. If you're looking for an intimate restaurant, this is not your place. If you're looking for a delicious meal, absolutely this is a must go!!

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday a few weeks back and I was impressed by far. I do not mind spending money on good food, and the quality and portions were well worth it. The king crab legs were huge! I live over two hours away and I will be driving back just to go here

Food was very good. A little pricey but the portions were very very generous. I upgraded my side salad to a spring mix with roasted pears and candied pecans... It was huge and really tasty, almost a meal in itself. The spicy tomato oil that came with the bread was also quite good. Everyone was pleased with their entrees and had leftovers to take home.

Called a head asked about making reservations. Was told didn't need any but the person take one for to make sure I had we had a table. The waitress was named Paula was was nice. Explained the specials and was every good with the menu. The was good portions. Come out in a timely manner. The other waiter in the room was very nice and friendly. I will be back. This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in NYS. Flavors are amazing, portion sizes are crazy big(almost impossible to finish a plate) large menu. Prime Rib friday and veal roasted garlic are MUST TRY's. Bread dip is awesome too!

What a wonderful dinner at Lasca’s tonight! A very busy place for sure, but managed with experience & obviously a tenured staff. We were visiting the area & had made reservations for 7:30. However, based on schedules we were at the restaurant well before our scheduled reservation. No problem there, as they graciously advised a table was available (although obviously busy, as all tables appeared full). Our waitress Loni was absolutely superb! Experienced (worked there for 20 yrs), personable, & we just can’t say enough good things about her!! Food was outstanding & portions were huge! A great experience & we’ll certainly be back when in the area!

We had a party of 15 on 9/26/2024 (in the back room). We had one waitress for our entire party. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, but I just want to compliment her on her outstanding service! Not only was she very attentive, she had a great, friendly personality and knew what we needed before we even asked. Our group had a wonderful experience and delicious meals!

We had a reservation for 6. Of course I was late by ten minutes. They held our table. Our service was exceptional. I was surprised by the prices, roughly 30 for pasta dishes. The potions were huge, making up for the price. All in all well worth it. 159 for 3 with dinner, a few drinks, dessert and coffee. Quality food, unsurpassed service.

Lasca's is the my husband and I's go-to for dinner dates and if we're too lazy to try something new. Their food never disappoints!

Hostess was polite as usual. Had a drink at the bar before being seated for dinner and bar tender was nice and we were served within minutes of sitting down. Our waitress Lonnie was absolutely outstanding and very personable. Food was delicious as always and came out in no time. Excellent and consistent food and service every time we come for dinner!

We had a wonderful meal with extended family to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious, including the soup, prime rib, and Italian dishes. But, our waiter may have been the BEST waiter I’ve ever had! His name is Carl and he was caring, attentive, and funny. It was a great time!

This was a great place for a double birthday dinner. We had reservations for 8 and we're seated at a great table which didn't seem crowded despite the full dining room. The server, Paula, was friendly, professional and fast. Chicken parm was a large portion and the bread with dip was delicious. There were pricey items on the menu, but no one walked away unhappy. I'll go back again!. Parking wasn't well lit so the lot was a mess at night.

Updated review & Lasca's is still great after all these years! Had a wonderful birthday dinner the other day. So attentive, plentiful & delicious! Not every restaurant these days provides warm fresh bread & a beautiful salad. The filet & scallops were just the best smothered in mushrooms & excellent bernaise on the side. The chicken & shrimp dijon is one of their best dishes. I dont care for mustard but the sauce is so flavorful. Even sang happy birthday to me with a candle in their excellent dessert of the night!! Yum!

The whole experience from calling for reservations to paying the bill was amazing. When I called two days before we wanted to eat there for a specific time the person on the phone was very helpful and fit us in for the time we wanted instead of the 8pm time she originally quoted. We only waited 5 minutes. Service was friendly and on top of everything. Made suggestions since it was our 1st time. Our water glasses were never empty and never had to ask for a refill on ice tea. The food is Awsome, huge portions and tasted fresh. Had a lot of leftovers, next time definitely will share. The waitress boxed up our leftovers, which is a nice touch, since we always make a mess lol. Will be back many times and bring out of town guests next time!

I stopped in at 5:15PM on a Wednesday and the parking lot was almost full. Always a good sign. I was eating alone so I was guided to the bar to have a seat. The bar was full with people getting drinks before they were seated. The special was a prime rib that smelled and looked amazing but I needed something lighter so I had Lobster Ravioli with Grilled Shrimp with some bread on the side. The bread is from the oven, nice warm and prefect for dipping in their specialty sauce. The service was extremely quick for the number of people in the restaurant. The meal was excellent. The aroma led to the great flavors of the ravioli and the shrimp. The shrimp had an amazing smoky flavor to them. The sauce was good for more bread dipping. I am quite certain this was my best meal in Auburn during my 16 weeks working in the city. The picture is from their website.

The food is amazing! Never have had a bad meal. Our server, Loni was the best! Very attentive and you could tell she loves her job. The atmosphere was good but did not give it five stars because it could use some updating to the inside. Do yourself a favor and go to Lascas’s for dinner! There were four of us and three of us had the crab legs. They are so good and come half cracked so you do not need to do the work. Takeout from there is amazing also. We are always getting their salads and their dressing to go.

Lasca's Restaurant really hit the nail on the head. We went to dinner to celebrate and occasion. I highly recommend getting a reservation several hours to a day ahead of time as they are typically very busy. We ordered the USDA prime Queen cut prime rib with lobster tail and the special cajin mahi mahi over linguine with Alfredo and shrimp. Both entrees were superb with plenty of leftovers to come home. The lobster was also perfectly cooked and was a large portion. I highly recommend Lasca's for a nice Italian steakhouse menu and feel.

Before you read- I strongly suggest calling hours before for a reservation, even if it’s for 2 people. This was my first time at Lasca’s and I can’t wait to go back! We started off with calamari, which is finally an appetizer that could easily feed 4 people. (Trust me, we usually order 3 appetizers to satisfy everyone). We both got the queen cut prime rib (one with lobster and the other with Alaskan king crab) It was delicious! It was worth every penny. I was blown away with the size of the lobster and the amount of crab legs. The queen cut could have pulled off being king cut, it was massive! Ask for Tracey P, she was such an amazing staff member, super friendly and bubbly. 10 star service!

Spontaneous trip to Auburn ended in a great surprise! I ordered the special. I believe it was beef tenderloin with a Roquefort cream sauce, roasted potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Usually as a chef i'm disappointed when I eat out but not this time! Such a pleasant surprise. Wait staff were pleasant. My meal was a good sized portion, fresh, hot, and delicious. I will be visiting again.

Our waitress Amanda was outstanding and really set a positive tone. 👏. However the place was crowded and even though our party were all vaccinated it was a little awkward wondering if everyone was. The portions are large, one order of scallops had 15 on the dish, never seen that before, usually get 4 at most. Other orders were the Delmonico steak, good but did have a fair amount of grizzled parts. Last item Chicken Lasca was really good. It's a nice place, could use more ambience, very dark rooms.

Food is always amazing. However if there is a manager here they have no skills to manage a restaurant. An insanely loud group who was very obnoxious and not a word was said to them. When I complained I was told it was a regular. So great food terrible atmosphere. Update 4/9/23 amazing meal was great again. Only complaint would be the bathroom, if anyone has been in it you already know so tiny using a urinal, staff member came out of the stall, 2 urinals but so close to the urinal when he washed his hand, thank tou for that it touched me a few times, really get rid of one of ancient things no one will use the 2 urinals abd the stall and wash the hands at the same time the room is far toooooo small to have 4 people in there, it's insane please updated it.

Old and hasn't been remodeled in at least 20 years. Slow service for a Thursday night. 1 hour too get appetizer and salad. Very pricey. Your birthday cake is nothing but whipped cream with flavoring . 135 for Alaskan King Crab 🦀 nope didn't get.

They host "free dinners" family style if you sit and listen to a sales pitch, which are usually not that great because it's free, but the food they provided was amazing. The beef and chicken had wonderful flavor.

The food at Lascas is almost always top-notch! The wait staff is almost always top-notch! The hostess staff and take counter staff ehh it's 50/50. They are often super rude. Although I think the worst hostess either left or were let go? You can definitely tell the owner cares about the place, maybe sometimes in this market you have to deal with the employees you can find? Either way, the odds are very good that you're going to have a great experience! I highly recommend!

Good solid food huge portions, I got the chicken marsala got 4 big chicken breast halves you could actually feed 3 people. However I didn't think to take photos. I got it over angel hair pasta & got at least a pound of that . Service was good but the atmosphere was okay. I recommend it if you have a really big appetite. Not sure how they stay in business with portion sizes

Didn't have a reservation so we weren't able to be seated but we ordered from take-out. 3 king size prime rib and chicken parm. Everything was fantastic and was ready in 45min on a busy Saturday night. Meals came with bread, butter and salad. Salad dressings have to be homemade because they were so good! Definitely will be eating here again.

The food was very good and the server was friendly. On the "needs improvement" side, the sound level made it very difficult for us to talk to each other. In addition, despite having reservations, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. And finally, the kitchen needs to let the servers know when they've run out of a menu item. One member of our party wasn't told that they had run out of her menu choice until the rest of us started getting our orders delivered to the table. Not pleasant to sit there watching everyone else enjoy their meal while you are just placing your order.

We really enjoyed our filet mignon dinners. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Service was great, too. Also, highly recommend the desserts, not that you'd likely have room, but they'll pack them to go!

Food was excellent as always. Generous portions are served, so you'll never leave hungry. Our waitress was chaotic and frazzled at best. While I understand the demands of a short-staffed environment, that doesn't excuse away dropping the remains of (someone at thevtable) French onion soup on me, my coat and brand new leather Coach bag and not even offering an apology or a napkin. We were there for a significant celebration or otherwise, I would have canceled the entree order and left, especially in light of needing to pay for dry cleaning and a destroyed bag.

There’s a lot of Italian options in Central New York, and they all have a unique style and taste. While the flavor of everything we ate at Lasca’s was delicious, it was a bit too rich and salty for my tastes. Staff was great and it’s certainly a popular place. I know many others rave about it. If you like your Italian on the lighter side, this may not be exactly to your liking, but for all others - dig in and enjoy!

Had large party (~15 people). Food was great, staff was pleasant and attentive. Although at the end of dinner (about 30-45 minutes before close) we were finishing up eating / waiting for check, and the staff turned off half the lights in the back room. This put about 1/3 of our table in the dark. Not sure why they did this but at least it was toward the end of dinner. Maybe next time just wait till the party leaves?

First time here for our fifth year anniversary, very busy so everything took a while, the bread and tomato oil were delicious, calamari was slightly undercooked but good. Ordered the steak and scallops special, steak had an overpowering smoke smell on it that was hard to get past, and a thick slab of rubbery inedible bacon wrapped around it. I was charged a 10 fee to make the baked potato loaded which was just a thick dry slab of cheeses few crumbles of bacon. The “sautéed” mushrooms were wet and cold no cook on them

Judging by the ample parking available on a Friday night, I should have known something had changed at Lasca's. We ordered three meals: chicken marsala, fried seafood platter, and chicken piccata. The first two were decent, but the chicken piccata was very dry and lacked any lemon, butter, or garlic flavors. The staff offered to remake it, which I at first declined, but they persisted. When it came back out, it was watery and overly garlicky without any sign of lemon or depth of flavor. We had to send it back again and decline a remake. When the bill came out, the manager explained that they didn't charge for the chicken piccata, even though they usually do when they have to make it twice. We reminded her that she insisted on remaking it, and that we would have been fine without having it. We also paid extra for the mixed green salads, which were tasteless and bland. The prices showing on the final check were on average 15% higher than what was listted on the menu. The waitress referred me to the fine print that says "prices are subject to change without notice" and stated that they cannot afford to reprint menus when prices change. The service was also lackluster, and after our food was delivered to the table the server never came back by to check if we needed anything else. We ended up having to go to the bar to get our own drinks. The server for a nearby table saw what was going on and came over to apologized profusely, almost breaking into tears over what this restaurant has become. Lasca's used to be one of the best restaurants in Auburn, and we would visit there at least a few times each year. Apparently, times have changed. I strongly recommend going someplace else.

My first time here since relocating to Auburn from the west coast. Perhaps my expectations were too high to start? Our server was friendly and mostly attentive. Restaurant itself seemed nice but untouched in decades. Dust filling the baseboard heaters that surround the perimeter of the dining rooms. Dust caked on the ceiling fans too. Dining tables and chairs seemingly original and rickety, not to mention uncomfortable. Menu options were extensive though very meat/seafood heavy with few to no options for vegetarians. I'm not a vegetarian but now I know this won't be a good option for those of my friends and family who are. The menu doesn't look like it's changed since they opened in the 80s and it's much too long. This alone doesn't equate to fine dining. My partner and I both ordered a seafood platter that came with jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, and some sort of white fish (I don't remember if it was haddock or skrod) and though the quality of ingredients seemed fresh, EVERYTHING was overcooked, rubbery, and completely devoid of flavor. I was just so sad. What a waste of good ingredients. This place will likely die with the owners if they don't make updates all around. Something about this place feels trapped in the 80s though I suppose one can say that of most places in Auburn.

It was the first time at this restaurant. It was a special night for my birthday. We were seated near the doors to kitchen and at my back was table for food or dirty dishes. My husband is a chef and agreed the food was cooked perfectly! However the service was below par! I ordered another custom beer and it was our on table without opening the can or another glass. We were given someone else meal and then took to them which was beyond wrong! The waitress was more focused on bigger tables for larger tips. All night I watched servers in and out getting stuff to prep tables. Who wants that for a special night? The only thing that saved the night was the chefs! Beyond disappointed. We should have went to get burgers for a 1/4 of cost with way better service and not sitting at last resort table. Like my husband said “everyone deserves the same experience “ when dining out no matter the size of the party.

We have been to the restaurant several times. This past Friday my wife and I decided to go again and I must say we were not impressed my wife ordered Chicken Alfredo and she stated it was not good at all. I ordered chicken parm with angel hair and the chicken parm seemed liked the breading was not done properly so it just did not taste great at all. Then it was freezing in the restaurant, to the point we had to put our jackets on. We just finally got our meals wrapped up and took them with us. Not to mention I think they may have jack the prices since we were there a few months ago. I went on their website to email them but I see they don't have a place for and comments contacts etc.

This review refers to takeout only~something is definitely different. Maybe new bakers, new chefs. The cream pie fillings are runny, not set up. Especially the coconut. Hardly no filling, all whip topping. Wasn't like this a year ago. Please, somebody who cooks here, taste those tater tots in the chicken finger dinner. What are those? Also, why on a Saturday at noon are your coolers pretty much empty? They should be stocked Friday evening and ready for next day's business starting at noon. Something is different.

Lasca’s food is great, so I don’t want to diminish that at all. But here’s my experience with them: was supposed to have wedding rehearsal dinner there. We booked probably 3-4 months ago, but my parents went there for dinner with my bride’s parents last week and when my dad went to pay the deposit, someone there surprised him by saying they are never open on the day we were scheduled for. So we’ve been on the calendar for months, and no one ever bothered to tell us that they aren’t even open that day, and never are? Now we are 3 weeks from the wedding and scrambling to find a replacement. They didn’t even do anything to make up for their mistake. It was only the hostess who called one other local place for my dad to make sure that spot was open. Bad look for Lasca’s.

Food tasted old. Meaning bland and felt like it sat around for a while. Definitely a less expensive Filet, wherever they source from. Very bland and boring. Service was great. Smells like a wet basement both times we’ve gone. I can’t be the only one that smells that.

Grabbed a Lascas dinner for the oven and was met with this little guy in my food. Was underneath the packaging. Pretty disgusted.

Very disappointed, came for Mother’s Day. Waited super long for our food, first dish was our salad found a hair in it, then after they brought plates for our main course. The plate was filthy. Then once the main food gets here after a while both types of meat we got were cold. I’m not coming back here.

The online menue is inaccurate with pricing and the manager acted like it was my fault for not knowing the Google listing is wrong while charging me 1/3 more than what was listed. I wouldn't have waited an hour to be overcharged and made to feel like I'm the problem, as i told her I wanted my money back and would not return. She said that was OK, and to have a nice day. I realize it's hard to find good help, but this was the Friday night manager. Never again.

Maybe we ordered the least liked items? Highly priced seafood medley was just an ok fried fish platter. The highly priced fettuccini Alfredo was honestly lower grade than Michelina’s frozen microwave meal, never experienced that before from an Italian restaurant… the pasta was just not it. Overcooked, ultra thin, and mushy. And the sauce… does it exist? It was mainly thin runny oil and butter vs the traditional creamy. A day later you can just see all the butter and oil separating out. If management sees this I hope they at least fix up the Alfredo. We are from out of town but think the locals deserve way better than that from one of the “best” and priciest around. I hate negatively reviewing local places, and usually don’t even if I didn’t like it, but thought it was a bit egregious in this case due to the pricing. Also, calling in to ask for hours, since it’s holiday time, sounded like we inconvenienced the worker to the max. We called 12/27/24 at around noon.

When you spend $113 for king cut prime rib clams, greens, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, 2 French onion soups, and a side salad you expect some good food. So so disappointing as the best thing was the side salad. Asked for medium rare and got medium , it was tough as well no stars, French onion soup was disgusting as it was ALL breaded chunks a 2 slices of onion with ZERO taste zero stars, Brussels we disappointing, clams and cabbage and greens were average. I can’t spend that kind of money for that food and service was 15 minutes late again. SORRY
