My recent visit to Com tam pa phi food truck in Austin was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the enticing aroma of freshly cooked Vietnamese cuisine. The atmosphere was inviting, with friendly staff ready to assist. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the Korean BBQ ribs. Each bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly marinated to perfection. Additionally, the sliced grilled pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, leaving me craving for more. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also served hot and fresh, further enhancing the dining experience. Legit Vietnamese food and broken rice plate!! The eggrolls are a must and highly recommend. The eggrolls were perfectly golden brown and the pork and shrimp filling was delicious! We liked them so much we went back and ordered a second batch.

The lady that greeted me was very friendly and patient. She explained several of the me I items and made recommendations. I fell in love with the fried pepper crawfish!!!! It paired well with the steamed rice. Don’t sleep on this place! I highly recommend them.

The softshell crab was amazing, would definitely get again! Service was fast and super friendly.

Came here for the first time, and I’ve got to say, the food looks really appetizing! I ordered the C7 (Cơm sườn bì chả trứng), and it was honestly worth every penny. The portion was generous, the flavors were on point, and all this for just $14~16 , such a great deal. Definitely worth the money, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

Food is very tasty and authentic! Service is prompt and courteous. It’s hard to find a place here in Austin that sells broken rice dish with actual broken rice grain. Most places use just regular rice. The meat was marinated in a Southern Vietnam way, kind of sweet but plenty of unami. The pork skin tasted nice and fresh. My husband and I ordered 2 plates of broken rice and ended up paying around $30. You do get a pretty decent portion for the price. 5 stars and will for sure return!

I came here after seeing some great reviews about their com tam (rice with grilled pork combination) and it surely did not disappoint. Delicious com tam is rather hard to find anywhere. At Pa Phi, the portions were large as I only ate about 3/4 of it. Moreover, it was very tasty and I felt like the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely plan to return to try other items on their diverse menu.

This was definitely a hidden gem and I was gonna add this business to google but apparently somebody already did! Good for them ! The fried rice is perfect the orange chicken is super fresh so is the beef and broccoli best good in the area for sure !!!!!

Phi is the owner, is friendly welcoming and offers a variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes We ordered the following; Crawfish fried rice Eggrolls BUN THIT NUONG CHA GIO (GRILLED PORK AND SPRING ROLLS WITH NOODLES Gỏi Cuốn a.k.a. Vietnamese Spring Rolls! There’s plenty of seating and shade/shelter to eat at this food truck. Food comes out hot and fresh. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Best Vietnamese rice plate dish in north Austin ! What to order: Com tam thit nuong (broken rice &grilled pork) comes with pickled daikon and carrots, lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. Bun thit nuong (vermicelli noodles &grilled pork) comes with lettuce Egg rolls Spring rolls. I got the one with shrimp and pork, which was 10/10. Will be back to try the spring roll with grilled pork. Food truck is new and adding more to their menu! Parking is limited during rush hour. Shares a parking lot with the other food trucks. They have 3 tables inside. Most people order to go.

My order was done on time. The foam packing trays have their corners missing, so the steam escapes, and your fried food stays crunchy longer. Had my silverware in the bag as requested. Friendly staff. I didn't stick around long but it was a well lit area and wasn't too hot on a summer sunday night. The food was worth the money. Half a tray of crawfish on a bed of lettuce mostly, topped with some grilled onions & jalapenos. Really well seasoned without any one element being overpowering. There were some cold mixed veggies in the tray and those were nice to add to bites to lighten up the rich crawfish. Highly recommend this dish as a safe bet for the money you spend.

Com ga is delicious! Not many viet places have it here in Austin. There’s also seating here if you want to enjoy it fresh. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

I had the C7 (Com Suon Bi Cha Trung) with grilled pork instead of grilled pork chop. The grilled pork is seasoned very well. They are very flavorful. The pickled vegetables are very fresh and plentiful. The Vietnamese eggrolls are hot and crispy, and I like the dipping fish sauce. I went on a Saturday during lunch time, and they are very busy. I highly recommend them.

Very authentic bun thit nuong cha gio. My only complaint is somehow, the noodles are a bit oily. The fish sauce isn’t as sweet as others. The pork was seasoned very well, like your normal Vietnamese grilled pork. Service was quick. We waited about 10 minutes to get our order after paying.

It was really good at first about 6-7 months ago. Now its really not. When they mean chicken and broccoli they mean broccoli and broccoli and a little chunks of chicken. We used to go there on a weekly. Untill we found another place, but as usual as it is here in Austin. Start off super well 10/10 then super bad 4/10
