Definitely the best Mexican dinner during our vacation. I had a huge plate of fajitas, creating little tacos with meat and peppers, truly delicious. For an appetizer, we shared some phenomenal nachos with meat and cheese. Plus a drink, we spent about $10 each—very little! Recommended.

Buena cochinita… tienen 4 salsas diferentes y tortillas hechas a mano… lo terrible es el servicio de las dos chicas que atienden las mesas… despotas y groseras… prácticamente te avientan la comida… si fuera el dueño yo las correría… no están a la altura de la comida

I'd heard so much about this place; it's famous for having the best cochinita pibil in Quintana Roo, so we went with high expectations… but honestly, it fell short. I tried two options: a cochinita pibil torta and a roast beef torta. I don't know if it was because of the time of day, but it seemed like we got the latter, because the cochinita had an overwhelmingly strong achiote flavor, so much so that it overpowered the rest of the ingredients, and we didn't get that characteristic tangy touch. The bread didn't help much either: it wasn't a classic baguette (French bread), but a telera-style roll that fell apart very easily. With the salsas, the tortas disintegrated very quickly. The roast beef was a little better than the cochinita, but again, the bread didn't hold up at all. The service was also lacking. There were only two tables in the place, and even then, we had to keep calling the waiter to get his attention because he was barely paying attention. In total we ordered 5 tortas, 3 tacos, and 4 colas. I hope they improve both the bread and the seasoning of the cochinita pibil, as well as the service, because we arrived expecting to love it, and we were disappointed.

La verdad es que le falta mucho sabor. Antes eran muy buenas ahora ya no. El servicio es más o menos si te atienden pero son poco atentos.

Highly overrated, the cochinita pibil was kind of chewy, the taco stand doesn't have limes, they treat you like they're doing you a favor, the pickled onions have no flavor, we went because it was highly recommended and it was a disappointment.

Bad, a glass of water has more flavor than the cochinita here, plus the terrible service where it feels like they're giving you the food for free, and what about the weather? They didn't have any soft drinks. The barbecue was delicious. I came for the great rating, but I think it's overrated. I won't be back.
