The El Pollo Loco in Baldwin Park has some of the best tasting tacos and tostada's in the city. Good local Mexican cooks in the kitchen that can really throw down some bomb chicken

This Pollo loco is one of my favorites why because customer service is always pleasant. It can be a bit slow but they always get your order right and fresh.if something is wrong they will go Extra to fix it .

Recently our family ordered 12 pcs for family. Order met all of our expectations very well. Another time burrito wasn't perfect I talked to LUPE MANAGER she is really nice to make sure your order is what you wanted. Other workers are friendly. I recommend this EL POLLO LOCO ITS GOOD FOOD.

This El Pollo Loco stands above the rest. Great customer service in addition to a properly basted and grilled chicken. It was refreshing to know that the "Original" El Pollo Loco still exists. (Great service and great grilled chicken flavor)

This particular El Poyo Loco is awesome. The chicken & The rest of their entres taste much better than other ones even nearest to me especially their chicken, so tasty juicer. You get that charbroiled taste. Their costumer service is always great . They haven't messed up my orders through drive through. I give 5 stars. 💫

This location is always busy..because they have good cooks yes my friends there is a difference. Went to another location up on the hill in West ..yikes awful cooks I couldn't believe it had to toss it on the trash wouldn't give it to my dog or even a stray dog to eat This location you'll never have a problem with Quality and will Always be Satisfied

I just recently tired the chicken and shrimp tostada on their menu today and I was very impressed! Portion size was good and all the ingredients were well balanced. I went through the drive through and service was pretty quick overall. Will be coming back again in the near future

Well first off, I love el pollo always have I mean it's Mexican for chicken and damn well cooked too I gave it this rating cuz 1. It was clean and airy. 2. Food presentation was well packaged but, they lost a point for not hearing one of our orders correctly. Other than that 3. Very fast pace, but to the point where you feel like you can’t even ask for a condiment. Fresh food though.

El pollo loco is always a safe bet for me. It seems to be consistent with the quality and taste. I don't usually eat fast food, but you can't go wrong with them.

Not the best El Pollo location ive been to, but its ok. Love their bowls, sides, taco al carbon, and just about everything else. Their chicken is pretty good for those who are health concious. Thier mac & cheese is great when youre in the mood for that. Cant go wrong with their food!

Placed a 24-piece order with various extra sides, and they forgot our Pico de Gallo. Such an important part of the meal was missing. We did not request contactless delivery, but they left before we could confirm that our order was complete.

The place has really good food and fast service. The people working there are nice and efficient. I haven't had a single bad experience going to El Pollo Loco. It's also very clean and is not that small. The menu isn't that varied but you get good, quick food at a reasonable price.

food is great but make sure you get what you ordered and dont get ripped off, i ordered 2 chicken avocado burritos , and i got beans and cabbage burrito absolutely no chicken on either, i did go back the next day and got my burritos done correctly. besides that it could be a 5 star place

Rude. They argued with my mom about her order when it was their fault for taking down the order incorrectly. My mom was patient and explained to the rude associate they missed an item. She clearly said what she wanted. Why did they argue and didn’t just begin a separate order? She wasn’t looking to get anything free. She just wanted her order after a long day of massage therapy sessions. She was willing to pay and wanted her food. But the associate ARGUED. I’ve been in customer service for 15 years. You don’t argue with customers. You repeat their order back to them. You don’t take it personally and focus on whatever is missing and find immediate solutions and tell them: “I apologize for the mistake. Let me get you your food in a separate order.”

Once again the visit proves a already expected level of deficiency added with a level of discrimination. (Fact) the staff takes this tasks as a gift for them vs community services and health department applications. Especially focused on the cook, whose machismo displays the lack of preparation for a public environment activity. This establishment needs a big overhaul to suit better the community that they serve, rather than self satisfaction for their own egos. I would like to know what Ms Veronica Rosas has to say...and if open for dialogue. We certainly are now entertaining bringing this to the attorneys. (Class A seems feasible)

I mean its El Pollo Loco, so same food as all the other in regards to taste and quality. The three star goes to the cleanliness and food prep practices of the staff, needs improvement.

The ambiance is just not like it used to be when they first opened. I like chicken very much and there aren't many ways to cook or prepare chicken that I haven't tried or have not liked. Chicken cooked over an open fire being one of my favorites. All the chickens seem to be the same size? On a few occasions the chicken was dried out, maybe warming too long. Most of the time the chicken is prepared correctly and tastes like it should.

Got there 30 mins before closing time and staff said the grill was not working anymore. My food didn't taste any good due to that.

I guess management changed. They always ignore my order. When i go ask how much longer for my order they check the screen and my order is no where to be found 🤦‍♀️. They need to be more organized.

Fast and friendly service but the tables are not that clean. But the worse part is that they use tap water for the beverages and ice which gives the drinks a really bad taste 👎🏼👎🏼. Cheap owner of you ask me, he needs to buy a water filter which I think he can afford since this place looks very busy.

I've now been here twice and I've been disappointed each time. The first time, the drive thru took 10 minutes to get through. They also didn't give me any tortillas (despite having asked me which kind I wanted). The drive thru cashier was apologetic about the wait but I was already out of the drive thru when I realized there were no tortillas. I didn't feel like waiting in that long line again. Today, the drive thru cashier (different woman) was very rude to me and when I asked for extra cups of dressing for my two salads, I wasn't asked how many I needed. She only charged me for one and didn't ask if only one was alright. It might not seem like a huge deal but I've had much better experiences at other locations. I might give this location one more chance to prove me wrong but if I have another negative experience, I won't be returning.

This why I should've gone inside. I ordered an extra side if rice and beans and trusted her when she said everything was in the bag. THEY WERE IN FACT MISSING. I don't live in this city just drove by to get lunch. So obviously I don't want to drive back. That's $7 down the drain. Not happy

Update: it's as if they don't even try to make the orders right or look good. This is how this place serves their double chicken tostada (see picture). I will go to another pollo loco for comparison soon. Also, make sure you receive everything they charge you for before leaving the window. This place is a hit or miss. I've had equally good experiences and bad ones. This is also the only pollo loco I've personally been to that charges extra for the creamy cilantro dressing.

I went to drive through 16-piece family meal mix I subbed wings for legs and that was supposed to get four chicken breasts to my surprise when I got home all I had was dark meat I paid extra for mix how to drive all the way back and when I got there to complain I spoke to the manager and she knew what I was going to complain about and the cook also telling me you were missing for breaths we tried to catch you but you were gone knowing well that that wasn't true since they had given me the 16 piece of chicken they were trying to cheat me out of my four chicken breasts then drove all the way back home and started to serve the chicken was horrible it was dry add burnt by the time everything was said and done the food was cold had to put it in the microwave it was just not a good experience

Not good drive thru was horrible almost 25 minutes waiting also, the noise from speaker annoying. Not recommend.

Homeless people keep asking for money and food and if you say no they just stare.. can't enjoy food here. Service is slow, all workers take the same break. Be waiting for your food for a while .

I ordered a original pollo bowl, but was disappointed, my bowl mostly had beans, and rice, hardly any chicken. I don't recommend the pollo bowl.

It took a very long time for me to get my taco salad I noticed that there you do not change your gloves the lady went in the back up more lattice opened up the bag and then continue cleaning and also cook in people's food

The customer service here stinks. The girls at the drive-thru window are always rude. Today I received the wrong sauce and not the amount of containers I asked for.

...drive thru....1st time they forgot the sauce after I specifically asked if it was in the bag.....2nd time....(today) they dont have ranch or bar b que dressing...i get to the window after ordering chicken tender meal..they give me a roasted chicken meal...I get that corrected and get home...my sprite is pure soda water.. next time will drive to west covina...never go to the baldwin park location

Extremely disappointed with the staff. Not only did they forgot to include some items that i paid extra for in my order, but the hostility caused by the rudeness of the cashier was suprising. I didn't want to drive back into line because ui felt uncomfortable doing so.

There is no one in the drive thru so I decided to walk inside to order. The lady tells me it will be a minute before they take my order. There is no one else ordering but they are working on the customer before me order. Then someone pulls up to the drive thru and she attend the drive thru person order. I thought I was next, on top of that they started working on the drive thru person order before even taking my order. Which means they have me waiting 5 mins before taking my order and took the person who was here AFTER me that was in the drive thru

Terrible experience, could not communicate with cashier, the tacos were dry and the tortillas were falling apart. Was given no utensils or salsa. Also I let them know the horchata machine was not working properly. It was never taken care of. I will never come here again.

They didn’t give my food just because the receipt didn’t print. They charged my cards no manager in duty the cook came to take over the manager position. Sad management.

I really hate that when you walk into this place they ask for your name. I dont know why they do this, its not excellent customer service when you provide your name, even spell it, and the cashier takes it upon herself to just change your name completely! She doesn't know me like that. In my Opinion, they should stop asking for names, its horrible customer service and very disrespectful to get their customers named wrong, especially when its spelled out for them.

I went to the Pollo loco to try their loaded nachos. They were not what I was expecting. There is nothing double loaded about these nachos I had better nachos at Taco Bell. I'm really disappointed with Pollo loco with their small nachos and overpriced nachos. Their chicken is really good just this experience was not to my liking.

Service is getting worse. It is very disappointing. They got wrong order twice. I told them I need three pieces chicken but they prepared two pieces. They sounded like " you said so". They didn't know what to do. They should ask me what I want. Finally, I had to pay extra to get one more piece. They asked "thigh is okay?" and I said "leg please". After I got exchanged order, I found extra thigh. Why they don't listen to me? When I got home, I found sauce was split and chicken looked horrible. The plate with chicken had very small piece of bones from nowhere. I felt they gave me some leftover from someone's plate. I feel like I am done with El pollo loco in this location

Ordering here was always good with no issues, but recently the last 4 times I go and Place an order, it always comes out wrong, and when I tell them there was a mix-up, I get a "my bad" with an attitude as if its my fault that they didn't get the order right, and its even worse on the drive-thru where I came back after they got my order wrong and they told me "it is what it is, you got something you ordered" and never came back to the window, I find it funny its always the customers fault because they cant get the order right

Went in for a thigh and drumstick. Was charged $8.04. Both pieces were dry and overcooked. Took the thigh apart and got 1/4 cup of meat the rest was bones and skin. I cannot believe that the cook chopped these tiny pieces of meat. All I could see in the kitchen was 4 people chatting and not paying attention to what they were doing. One was preparing a burrito and there was so much liquid in the spoon it looked like she was serving bean soup. Not paying attention and talking the whole it I was there. Outrageous that I paid for microscope dried up chicken. Don't know how this location stays in business. Also when going through the drive thru there is always something missing from the order or something was prepared wrong. Not sure if I will return because I cannot recommend this type of service.

So... I ordered a classic tostada... I started eating the tostada and pulled this huge piece of paper OUT OF MY MOUTH! I nearly threw up! I went back and got my money back. I asked them where did that paper come from and the woman said its the paper they wrap their avocado in... Here's the kicker. my food didn't have avocado in it. 🤢🤮🤮

I just came from pollo loco and first off the girl taking our order was rude.Like okay you’re miserable at work we’ve all been there but you need to suck it up and have some customer service training or something. I ordered a guacamole chicken burrito. But literally the first five bites were just guacamole cabbage and tortillas. I opened that horribly made burrito literally had maybe 7 tiny pieces of chicken. And I didn’t get a receipt back thinking it was in the bag I didn’t ask. This place sucks.

I always go to El pollo loco because the food is good however every time I stop to this location I always hear two people talking in the microphone talking te orders. I always get a classic tortilla soup and every other pollo loco they give you extra chip I think is a nice tip this location did not i had to go inside from the drive through and ask . They did not give me the chip and they got defensive . I say I was going to write you guys due to the inconsistent of the service the lady say go right ahead and so other . What a terrible service.i live in the community and it agrivate me that the local people treats you that way. If I were the manager I will have given the chips and informed that they do not give chip with soup. Also they need to be more friendly smile not been too serious like if people owns them. I own my own business and if i train my employees to be top nutch . I motivate them to already smile to client and be positive leave outside problem out the business. Hope this letter find you well.
