standard ov food is excellent it has improved significantly over the past 2years ...plenty ov Tv's to watch racing/dogs or other sports..can get a bit loud on occasions during peak times...overall well done will be back

Lovely visit with my wife and kids, wanted a quick but homely British meal and that’s what we got. Brilliant Sunday roast enjoyed by all and great value! Highly recommend.

Had a roast dinner here which was really good. My aunt is vegetarian and they catered well for her, they even went to the shop to get some cranberry sauce. The staff are lovely. Great service and I will definitely come here again.

In Beni for 4 days and ate here for breakfast each day. Really good food service and prices. Very quick service and had a fantastic 8oz Rump on Sunday. Good English mugs of tea. Location is near the main strip. Good selection of alcohol on sale at good prices. Staff always very friendly and quick to serve. Food is very good. Various breakfast choices all cooked to a high standard and plenty of it. They also do a Sunday Roast which was very good and if you like the odd bet even better you can bet at the bar and watch the numerous races they show. Aircon inside if it's too hot sat out. Worth a visit.

We've eaten there since we went for the first time to Benidorm. The food is excelent with British choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is really friendly. We had English breakfast (they have 3 sizes of English breakfast and scottish breakfast as well), steak pie, baked potatoes and scampi. I would always recommend this place.

It was very welcoming me, my husband and our 2 friends went inside to get out of the rain, we had a couple of pints and a bet really enjoyed the day, we didn't have food as we had already eaten but the food looked really good and we could see massive portions, we are going back and we will be trying the food it looked good.

Just popped in after someone said they sell food and had there signature burger. Tasted amazing and great presentation. The seasoned fries are something to experience. Will definatly become a regular place to eat

Only found this place because it was one of the few open at 9AM, and I was starving. The breakfast and the service were both top notch though so I returned a few times, (the early start was a one-off!) I'll definitely return next year.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon here. Staff very friendly and they put the football we wanted to see on a big screen for us. Many big screens showing racing as you are also able to place gets here. Food looked good. Beer was cheap. A great place.

Having tried most roast Sunday lunches in Benidorm, I must say the Winning Post is up there with the very best. The staff are brilliant and the blonde chef cooks to a very high standard.

I've been enjoying a long weekend in Benidorm with a friend. Last night we went to music gig and today I fancied a full English breakfast even though it was mid-afternoon. We walked from our hotel looking for a place offering a proper full English and we walked over 4,000 steps until we found one! We found the Winningpost and a friendly lady greeted us with the news that they served all-day breakfasts and there were several options too! I chose the large full-English which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, a plum tomato, baked beans and 2 slices of toast, plus a glass of orange juice and a mug of tea. It was well worth the 4,000+ steps that it took us to get there! Great food. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

So had the honour of going to benidorm for the weekend with my wonderful partner we ate here every breakfast and we also went in on night for a meal food is outstanding. And Tracey who served us morning and night is a exceptional person was always making sure we was happy and always kept drinks topped up when we were running low such polite people and very clean also the workers in here alongside Tracey never stop to make your day great thanks again guys Craig and lisa we will be again soon x

I go to Benidorm every year with my family of 8, and we love coming here. The food is amazing and the staff are very welcoming, they recognise us every time we go even if its just once a year we go.

Lovely food that was nicely presented. A good range of foods on the menu that will suit all tastes. Great value for money. Attentive hosts that obviously enjoy what their jobs. Would definitely recommend

Top bar, loads of screens for live sport and unlike many other places you can hear commentary as well. Beer is good and top class british service here.

I’ve been coming to Benidorm for donkeys years and have had the full English breakfast at literally dozens of places. Having just eaten the large English breakfast at winning post I can hand on heart say the sausages here are the best I’ve had in Benidorm. Recommended 👍

It is my new place to eat, the food is absolutely amazing, the choice is amazing and sorry i didn't get her name but the blonde lady who served us was amazing too. The place is large,so plenty of chairs and tables, and also a good size outside patio area, food is reasonably priced with a varied menu, breakfast, snacks, main meals all cooked to a good standard, a large bar selling all popular spirit brands as well as fosters ,Carling and local beers, with decent offers on a 5 bucket deal, with Heineken, buds, San miguel etc, so all round a decent pub especially if you like your sports with 4 big screen TVs, and a couple of smaller sizes too

If possible I would leave a 4.5 Star Review. The bar is very central and next door to the original Yorkshire Pride. The advantage to The Winning Post however, is the ability to be able to enjoy Drinking, Eating, Gambling, Listening to 90's Music, as well as watch the world go by, in particular Hungover Brits and those driving Mobility Scooters whilst those still under the influence. We were lucky, as both of our servers were very attentive(even vying for our service) and efficient. One observation is that non-eaters do not qualify for Table Service, so my Friend Stephan(Steve) ordered a Sausage Bap, just so he didn't have to get up to buy a drink - He's a likkle lazy to be honest. That said, it is also not uncommon for him to expect to be waited on hand and foot. There is also a 'Slot Machine', which we slipped in a quick €50 into and walked away with a cool €109, albeit all in €1 Coins. The Brandy wasn't strong in % Proof, but was very pleasant all the same. After a few scoops, the 'Munchies' set in for the both of us and Curry, Chips and Baps were ordered - Again, these did not disappoint at all. A trip to the Restrooms post, revealed cleanliness, hand wash and 2 Ply bog paper, albeit in a tighter than desired cubicle. After a couple of hours it was time to move on, so we requested the bill. Super surprised to be fair, as we'd give it a good 'crack' and still had change from a Nifty Fifty, in reality most/all of it was paid from the One Armed Bandit winnings(in coins). Our betting on the Dogs and Horses wasn't super successful and there is definitely a mood shift of the Staff when making a bet versus collecting any winnings. Overall a good bar and worth a try. Definitely a 4.5 Star - In our opinion.....

Was there early on Saturday morning, not many people in, quickly served with a lovely breakfast , couldn't finish it , found the staff efficient and helpful, went past later and the place was packed with people eating and drinking, would recommend.

I have only been here the once. I liked it . I was staying in the old town and on a wander. The prices are good and so is the food.

Love the food here and great place for a bet. Just one let down was the constant stream of beggars, hat and rose sellers, and the ever obnoxious bongo man. Surely the staff can have more control on who comes on the terrace. Apparently it is a management decision to not stop them. Not the place to relax and have a quiet meal, hence only three stars.

Went for Sunday lunch as advertised on board outside a staff member abruptly told us they haven't served them for about 5 weeks ordered other food off menu and waited 40mins for it and it wasn't even busy at the time we were there .we used to visit alot when we come to benidorm but won't be going back

We ordered Sunday lunch, which arrived within a couple of minutes!!!! Pre plated and microwaved, it was red hot, over down Yorkshire puddings, frozen peas and carrots, and hairy crackling!!!

I have enjoyed a few meals here over the winter, but today will be my last. I managed to get Debbie's attention after sitting at a dirty table for about 10 minutes, only to get a half-hearted excuse and curtly being asked "So what is it you want?" It crossed my mind to say "It doesn't matter" and leave, but I ordered a roast beef dinner which duly arrived a few minutes later on my dirty table which was never cleaned during my visit. There were no other clean tables for me to sit at, so I had no choice but to sit at a dirty table (which was never cleaned at all). The food was delicious, but I even had trouble trying to pay for it afterwards. Cheryl and other staff members simply ignored me as I was standing at the bar trying to get their attention and showed no desire to take my money (which pays their wages). Eventually Adina took my money. She is the only shining light in what is a chaotic, dysfunctional and unprofessional set-up. I have seen better run market stalls. Nobody has a clue what they are doing or any desire to provide decent customer service. Dirty tables and poor staff attitudes are ruining the great work of the kitchen. I would be fuming if I was the owner, and I certainly wouldn't defend the indefensible. To put it into perspective, this is simply a betting shop that sells food. Expecting clean tables and reasonable customer service isn't a big ask. On a separate note, I don't expect to see staff being reprimanded in front of customers either. I recently overheard the owner reprimanding a waitress for speaking Polish, saying that you work in an English café so you speak English here. If I was her, I would be looking for another job. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. There are much better places than this.

Chicken curry and jacket potato ordered. Came in a deep dish with a thin curry sauce covering it with two small pieces of chicken on the top. Potato was black inside . Side salad unpleasant with coleslaw that tasted off. Disgusting. Complete waste of money. I left most of it it was inedible.

Sat down at 12:45. Not really that busy. 1310 still no drinks order. Walked out and went elsewhere. Staff obviously can’t be bothered. No wonder they are stuck working in a bar as a career

Don't bother. Ordered meatballs, first mouthful has a piece of plastic in it, sent it back, next lot of meatballs cold. Not just warm, cold like had come out of the fridge. Ended up asking for a baked spud & curry, was OK at best. Which ended up being served after my party had already eaten their meals. So really surprised I was charged for my meal, not even an offer of a discount or drink, NOTHING. Disgrace

First time visiting. Went to the bar to order drinks and was greeted with a man who ignored us while looking on his phone. Went in there yesterday for food and drink. Been going there years for food and a bet. Got greeted by a elderly gentleman with a hat on behind the bar. They love taking bets and money but when you win they hate paying you out. The race had weighed in and they still made me wait a further 10min before paying me out . It's not a friendly place at all. Good luck getting a smile our of someone. Maybe you will if your bet loses.

Disgusting, Salad was okay but it was out of a bag, burger had a cheap taste, chips had a strange powder addition. Husband had pie a mash, he said it was the worst mash he’s ever had in his 79 years. We’ve had meals here before and they were like home made… don’t know where the hell these were made, couldn’t eat them. Very disappointing.
