Great atmosphere, warm environment and ample space. If you’re in the area and need some time to pass, this is the place. The staff are friendly and have good recommendations.

Nice new coffee shop at Berkeley. Free wifi, water, plenty of charging places, restroom available... almost a perfect place for studying/working. I ordered Yemeni coffee and Pistachio chocolate Turkish delight. They tasted very good. I'll definitely come back.

Feels really fancy and shiny, love the gold and black color scheme. Rose cake and latte was great. Everything was prepared quickly, and looked extra glitzy. A comfortable place to hang out or study.

Great coffee shop that recently opened near the Cal Berkeley campus - with a focus on Yemeni coffee and pastries I’m grading on a slight curve since the place recently opened - and I think any restaurant needs at least 6 months to hit their stride. Place has a lot of promise though. Coffee beverages I tried were all great - though I lived for a while in the same region, so am partial to similar ways of preparing coffee. The pastries were generally very good - we only scratched the surface on the options available there. The honey comb bread stuffed with cheese was great - and definitely worth a try. The baklava was also solid. I was a little disappointed with the knafeh. Not bad, but I’ve had better. Maybe it would have been better warm. The croissant was a little too dense, but edible. The service was a little backed up, there was only one person working there. The person there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Just wish she had help! Atmosphere is nice. Outdoor seating would be nice, since I have a dog. But the place is a block from the UC campus, so it’s easy to find a spot outside there. I’ll definitely return!

This is by far the best coffee house I've ever been to. The staff are wonderful, and the environment is so welcoming! The hospitality is actually insane. I got the Rose Delah Late and the Spinach Savory Pie, and both were the best that I've ever had! Authentic Arabic Coffee.

Beautiful cafe near Cal Berkeley campus. After riding our bikes for a few hours. We just wanted an afternoon coffee and pastry. We loved the Yemen Chai and coffee and Bee bite pastry here! The Yemen Chai called Adani? ..we actually drank this earlier the same morning at Farmers Market near Lake Merritt and loved it there too. No coincidences!! I realized that day I need this Yemen Chai in my life daily..I think it's my new favorite hot beverage. I love the flavor, unique spice & it's not as sweet as Indian Chai (I always prefer less sweet) But the Bee bites pastry.. it has a cheese inside and lightness to it..but hunee...the honey on this pastry..was the best honey I've ever tasted..they said the honey is from Yemen as well..so amazing!! Definitely returning!! 💙 🙋🏻‍♀️💙 I will check out all their locations besides Berkeley they said they have one in Oakland and 2 in SF. ☺️

First time trying and was recommended the mangarabian smoothie and it was easily the best drink I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend it to anyone coming in. Fresh mango and quality taste. You can tell they emphasize details with the interior of the store and the beautiful, Arab style cups. The employees were extremely helpful as well and super nice. Best service I’ve had!

The honey bee bites , with a concept of arsenal cells cells as theirsignature dessert if it's served with honey, but it will be salée (salty) brunch if it's served without honey. I wanted to fee Especially if one wants to tryo out l its components , enjoying every ingredient in its own, it was a good call, you can sense the créme fondue that fills each sesame cell. This was the first time I try it, and hopefully not the last signature , It is served hot; But for a drink I recommend hot Sanaani to go along with the meal. (Or Turkish coffee).

Middle eastern vibe. Yemeni latte had hints of cinnamon. Turkish coffee came in a fancy plate and cup. Bakalava was perfect as it was not too sweet. Would come again.

Just visited the Delah Coffee House today, and I tried a Yemeni Latte with a beef stuffed bread. It was really good and I enjoyed it. Mohamed the barista working at the time showed very good service and was great with conversation. I will definitely come again.

I really enjoyed the unique ambience and atmosphere of this Turkish cafe. The pastries were delicious as well and there was a wide selection to choose from. The rose milk cake had a strong floral flavor and was refreshing. The hazelnut turkish delight was very rich and creamy. It is also open late which provides a perfect spot for some late night studying or hangouts.

The Yemeni coffee was really good. The pastry was stale and underwhelming. I’d say all items are overpriced. You guys need to step up your pastry game, I was disappointed. $7 for a stale piece of baked dough. “The cheese” inside was all dried up. We sat by the window and it’s great to people watch.

the first two drinks we wanted to order were not available. one of the two pastries we had was not thoroughly heated up. it was wet and cold underneath so it had a freezer smell to it because it was displayed in a cooler. other than that, the two drinks we got were refreshing. the other pastry was really tasty. the service was wonderful. wish they would use less disposable ware, however. the atmosphere was comfortable since the place was roomy and management didn't pack it with too many seats. nice wall murals and beautiful details on the ceiling. check out their bathroom. it is painted gold.

There’s only ever one person on staff and I’ve never gotten the sense that person knows much about making coffee. The espresso is fine but the drinks themselves are sort of haphazardly thrown together. As for the atmosphere, many students enjoy studying here for long periods of time and there’s enough comfortable seating to accommodate that. However, the trash is regularly overflowing and every time I’ve been here the bathroom is mysteriously “out of service.” This spot is probably your best option for coffee on Euclid, but better spots abound in nearby Downtown Berkeley and Telegraph. Given that my drink was already $8.50 without modifications, the pre-set 30% tip on the card terminal also just added insult to injury.

I tried the Jubani coffee, Adeni tea, and a Danish pastry. Unfortunately, the pastry was really disappointing — I couldn’t even eat it, as it seemed carelessly prepared. The Jubani coffee tasted more like water than coffee, with no real flavor. I don't believe it was made properly or with care. The same goes for the tea.Unfortunately, there were also hygiene issues :( I hope they offer more thoughtfully prepared and flavorful servings in the future.🙏

Why am I rating this place lower than other stars I gave it?? I want to support this Yemeni coffee shop & tbh haven’t tried the food here. Service and atmosphere is usually good. HOWEVER, $9 for a goddamn coffee?? I’m sorry, that’s actually insane. And they charge you .75 cents extra for ice?? ICE?!! 😭 I hadn’t come here in a long time bc of how overpriced it is & I’ll probably stay away again for awhile. I just took off the lid to my Yemeni latte & more than an inch of it isn’t even there?? For a $9 coffee??? You’re joking. I’m not sure if any higher ups banking in profits tell baristas to not fill the latte up more or what but damn this is ridiculous. It’s unfortunate that I can’t keep supporting this place as much as I’d like to. The prices are just insane for what you get.

Been here twice over 2 years. The atmosphere is not as nice as it once was; I came here early in the morning and the tables, floors, and chairs were clearly unclean. The coffee was good, but totaled out to be $8.80 after tax which I find to be extremely inflated for what it is. On one Wednesday I tried to go here, the cafe was closed with no notice even though Google and Yelp said they were open.

Honestly this place has really disappointed me. I used to LOVE coming - the atmosphere was good, music was fun, and the food/drinks were decent. The last few times I’ve come in the past year have been overall not great. The food and drinks are SO EXPENSIVE. A (mid tasting) drink will run you at least 8-9$ no modifications, which is more expensive than a normal coffee shop, and the pastries? SOOOO expensive for the tiniest stale pastries. Literally the size of my palm, dried out, and not much flavor for 8-10$ not to mention the autopopulated 30% tip that adds more to the price. Even fancy artisan pastry shops don’t overcharge this much and their food is larger portions and tastier. I swear they don’t list the price obviously so we order the food and don’t realize the cost till it’s charged. A regular coffee and pastry shouldn’t run you more than 15$ max, here it’ll run you a minimum for 20$, I’d rather go buy a whole meal somewhere else. The atmosphere is cold and barren. The decor has not been taken care for, the couches have a weird moldy smell to them (and splattered w paint?) and the floor is always sticky for some reason. Two visits ago the person working turned half the lights off at 8pm (well before they closed) and turned the music off, my friend and I who were the only people there took it as a sign to leave. I LOVE Yemeni cafes, and delah was one of my favorites in the bay (I was so excited when this one opened, I used to go to the sf one all the time), I’m just so disappointed by it now I don’t think I’ll be coming back anymore.

Got a coffee, honey bread and a spinach pastry and everything was bad. The coffee was watery but still okay. What was really bad was honey bread and spinach pastry. The honey bread smelled so off and tasted bad, almost as if it went bad. The spinach was inedible and smelled horrific. I went up to the girl and returned the bread and she did not even bother to give me a refund or anything. Extremely disrespectful and the food quality has gone down badly.
