In our cozy Berkeley restaurant at 2334 Telegraph Ave, we've crafted an inviting atmosphere that's equal parts lively and laid-back. I have had a few bad ban mi’s and I’ve been skeptical since. This place might have changed my mind. The chicken and ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. My ONLY complaint is that the bread was a little stale. Everything else hmm how do you say “bussed”? Give them a try!
I am very impressed with this place! Food quality is good and it’s very healthy! Also, for vegetarians, this place has good options. I strongly recommend it.
Freshrolls and Bowls are my most favorite places where I have eaten at Berkeley location twice a week and sometimes at 4th street in SF and they both serve an amazing fresh food and homemade drinks. I had two of their bowls and four fresh rolls this week and still want to come back for more , the bowls and rolls are filled with all fresh vegetables , look so pretty colorful and topping with the delicious well marinated grilled chicken or pork, the rolls are made so tight and with an crunchy crispy goodness in them to deliver an perfect harmony taste. Their homemade limeade is impressive with a taste of fresh ginger and basil combined to deliver a refreshing delicious beverage, and also their Mint Lychee Jasmine Tea and Vietnamese Iced Coffee are also give an unforgettable experience. Anyway , I would recommend this place a thousand times and thank you Freshrolls and Bowls.

Staff are nice and the bowl is good. It’s a popular restaurant here so it might be flooded with students around lunch time, and the waiting time might be longer during peak hours. Only things is that the tips is mandatory as there’s no other option when you order through the pad. Also, since they’re generous with their sauce, if you don’t like too much sauce, choose “sauce on the side” option and not mix in. 😂 # Shrimpocado Bowl

Delicious and relatively healthy food at a great price point for students. I usually get a chicken Freshroll Sandwich, and haven’t been disappointed with quality, portions, or taste once. Love that I found this place earlier in the semester.
Very nutritious and highly recommend if you forget your meal prep. Great portions and has options to get extra protein and sauces on the side if you’re really trying to eliminate sodium. Fresh ingredients and has great service overall.

I really like Freshroll (always fast and delicious, it’s been my go to for a quick lunch) but today I found a metallic wire in my bowl :(
The roll was $5 and was okay. The garlic noodles were extremely salty, and when I presented that to the server, she went to the back and tried some herself and just told me “this is just how it usually tastes”? No offer to refund me or to exchange it for another item. Very cheap tasting food (not in a good way).

Their tagline should be “Very expensive, mediocre fast food” and “we hope you like wilted lettuce and Nestle bottled water.” I love Vietnamese food. Having spent time eating through restaurants in Hanoi, Da Nang, and other Vietnamese cities … this is just sad. Bonus: since they charge an extra 5%* on top of the $15-17, so you’re actually spending more than at a restaurant for an inferior product. Please support an actual restaurant. *good luck trying to find the 5% on the website or menu.
