Mountain Mike's is always delicious. In the last 4 years, getting pizza probably 2xs a month, never had bad experience. Helpful and pleasant staff and always honest about wait times.

I loved my experience with Mountain mikes, i ordered delivery from them and couldn't be happier. For me,its really hard to get anyone to deliver where i live and the one or 2 that do, charge outrageous fees, then come 2 hours late. But not Mountain Mikes, the first time i orderd, it got here right on time and still warm. The place even called me to let me know about the toll fee and asked if i wanted to continue with the order instead of just canceling on me with no warning. When it arrived the driver was so sweet, and the food was just as i asked for it to be, not skimpy on the toppings or anything, just a mountain of goodness as advertised. Great experience with them, they do pizza and delivery right

OMG! I have lived in Berkeley for 19 years and love many things about this city but pizza has never been one of them until now... I have heard of Mountain Mike's Pizza and passed by it but was hesistant to try it bc of the location but i was craving pizza like they used to make 20 years ago and gave in and tried ordering through the app but there were problems with the app so i tried ordering online but it would not accept the $5 discount coupon for a large pizza so i called in my order and the service from the time ordered until it was delivered was awesome. The nice gentleman honored the $5 discount coupon and i paid over the phone and told it would arrive within 45 minutes and the nice guy who delivered the large McKinley pizza did arrive on time and the pizza was something else... The McKinley pizza i ordered was still hot and the crust did not taste like cardboard and the bountiful variety of fresh ingredients made the whole experience incredible; this is how fresh pizza is suppose to be. The pizza was oozing with cheese and there was an unique taste in the tomato sauce that made this pizza stand out from other places; yummy! Yes, the prices are expensive but you are getting a better quality of pizza. I will be ordering from this location again in the future. I highly reccomend you try Mountain Mike's Pizza on San Pablo Avenue (Berkeley).

Uber to pick me up from inside this place , the pizza was not just gooood but addictive fresh and crispy just how I like it , I dont eat pork so they made me a special one to accommodate me , I will diffenatly be back and highly recommend it, Today is dec 7th and I came again with one of my friends I ordered a pineapple pizza and didn't know it had pork In it it was my fault but the owner was generous enough to let me keep the one we got and made me another one without pork , I mean I cant tell you enough how consistent this place is with services and taste plus we had the chance to watch the game

The owners of the franchise are so nice and the pizza was made to perfection. Specifically the Chicken Club and the Sizzlin' Classic Bacon with creamy garlic sauce that were recommended by Kamal. The salad bar is a good deal as well. Everything you want in a pizza place. It was very comforting especially on a bad day. It's no wonder they won an award for Best Franchise just recently!

Excellent pizza with an extremely authentic family style service. This Mountain Mike’s is family owned and run. As such, just like in all families, there are some members that you know would never be able to stay employed anywhere else. I appreciate and admire the loyalty and love behind the decision to keep the more disagreeable members employed placing the value of family over profits. People over profits; isn’t that what so many of us claim to champion? We need our mom and pops businesses to thrive as it’s each of our individual and collective choices that can keep the American Dream’s of our community alive. With that in mind, if you ever had an off experience with this business, I strongly encourage you to give them another chance. I know I have, and, the pizza is even more delicious now that I’m able to see this business through more discerning eyes.

Me and my wife were passing just riding down when she mentioned she saw that it had a lunch buffet special, so we decided to go in, and it was great they had pizza and salad. It was great for the price. When you get there, you can order whatever kind of pizza you want any combination, and they will do it fresh, and they will put it out for everyone to enjoy. It's really great. There weren't any people there at that time. The service was great and friendly. Really enjoyed it.

Friendly service with a feel of the old authentic 80s pizza hut. Ingredients were freshly made and pizza was straight from the oven. Kids loved it, we loved it.

Our home away from home for years. Absolutely the most family oriented, quality service, people we know. They have been there for us through good times and bad. I value their food. But I value their friendship and the kindness they show my child, so much more. I hope they will be with us for many more years.

Nice clean place. Still has that new car smell, just has that pizza smell as well! Nice and courteous staff. Pizza was to be expected from Mountain Mikes. Been to several stores in the past. I recommend!

Great pizza for good price. Pepperoni curls and crisps at the edges. Mountain Mike pizza is consistently like that. Good variety. Buffet is about $2 higher in Berkeley than Walnut Creek.

Love their specialty pizzas. They have a pretty good all you can eat price about $11 for pizza and salad +$2 for drinks. Love their Snowy Alps, Robbers Roost and Garlic Tuscan pizza. Their thin and crispy and their style of pepperoni is also really good their not to big so when cooked the cup up like little pepperoni cups.

I have to agree that this pizza is really good. The staff was friendly and the pizza was ready quickly (we ordered online and then picked it up). Though the sizing may seem small, the pizza is filling in a good way (a small pizza is plenty to feed two people).

Good, solid pizza, if not quite Zachary's-tier. The real home run is the pizza buffet they have during the week. ~8 bucks gets you all you can shovel into your mouth, and they'll make bespoke additional pizzas at your request.

Pretty decent mountain size garlic sauce veggie alps pizza. I just wish the slaves had more flavor. The store owners were kind enough to remind me of order pickup since I had totally forgotten about it.

Ordered a sandwich, called a dome it was very thinly sliced Italian sausage with cheese that was suppose to have lettuce and tomatoes, sounded good but was the worst sandwich for 8 dollars and change over 10 bucks for essentially a cheese and thinly sliced grill cheese with some lettuce and tomato thrown on the side. Most definitely would Not recommend to anyone. Three thumbs down!

Pizza was good however the store was not prepared the day I went for their buffet at noon. It took almost 30 minutes for them to roll out one pizza and it was not enough for their guests which led to more waiting. their dining room although very accommodating for guests The high tables are very wobbly and almost made me spill my drink. I would definitely recommend getting delivery from this location however if you plan to dine in try a different Location

They hit me for 15 bucks for a tiny sandwich and a 2 liter. The sandwich had good bread but was half the size expected, the cheese was melted and bread toasted well, but instead of completing it, they buried in a coffin and put crappy hothouse iceberg lettuce and pale tomatoes on the side, not inside. They did remember the garlic! With no dressing or condiments or anything aside from a single mustard packet and mayo packet, I put the veggies into it and tried it out. Not as the menu seemed to describe, and not the portions I thought I was buying, but adequate. I could have made chicken Tikka masala from chicken skewers and tomato soup, and microwaved a turkey and cheese sandwich from 711 and gotten the 2 liter for that price though. I'll stick to pizzas here from now on.

Pizzas are great. I noticed a big difference in app orders, prepared with less ingredients compared with regular orders. Owner lady always avoids give you purchase receipts also showing unfriendly to applying promotions or app rewards.

I used to love MMs . But then I came here for the buffet and enjoyed a chipped tooth off of their frozen slices. Two half pizzas were made and 3 more people came in and the employee made only 1..the employee said she wasn't making anymore. the customer service is terrible. PS the carrots were brown . I wasnt sure if it was a salad bar or the compost pile.

I got to this pizza place to pick up the order. They didn't notice or care that the order was suppose to get ready 5 minutes ago. They started working on my order after I told them about my order. The lady asked me to wait 10 mins. I told them it was suppose to be ready 5 mins ago. Then she started talking bad about me in Punjabi language, which I understand, when I was walking out of door. I do NOT recommend this restaurant, if you want your food on time.

The most unprofessional experience I have ever ever encountered. The pizza guy had the nerve to bang on my door and ring the doorbell multiple times after I specifically told him my 10 month old old baby is sleeping and to leave it at the front door. After I answered the door and told him this. He began to lecture me and said he’d been waiting for an hour. There are screenshots showing that it was exactly 15min since the first call. Instead of just leaving it at the door, this crazy rude mad chose to bang and ring the doorbell??? Absolutely unacceptable considering a smal pizza ran about $45 with my $10 tip! A waste of money and my poor baby’s nap ruined! All cause he wanted to tell me off!!! RUDE! Never ever going to be a patron of this location again AVOID THIS RESTAURANT

Ordered 2 pizzas to go. I noticed a funny smell from the one of the pizzas on the ride home from pick up. I didn't think much about it at the time, unfortunately. After eating it, my daughter and I both had upset stomachs. She was vomiting. I think the bacon was bad. It smelled weird. Never again will I go to that MM in Berkeley. What a waste of 40.00. I'll stick with the one in San Pablo.

Went for the lunch buffet. Be prepared to pay about $10 (12.75 with drink) since they force a $2 gratuity fee for apparently all transactions. Also, they don't make pizza for lunch unless you're already there, so don't expect a quick lunch. You will be waiting a solid 30 minutes before eating. What a way to screw over your paying customers. Spend your money elsewhere.

Well I ordered a pizza and side of bread new to the area and heard it was decent a little pricey but I’m like ok whatever however I love where you have to cross the bridge omg a 7 dollar toll in which since a business expense gets written off so they called me and was like we need you to pay the toll in cash and I’m like I don’t have cash and if it was so important to them they should have wrapped it up in there fees but apparently they rather be money hungry then possibly earn a customer. So I don’t get pizza and I’ll just use doordash that doesn’t charge me to cross the bridge.

They asked me did I want a discount on pizza I said yes got when I got home noticed no cheese on my pizza and no cheese on my knot knot 🪢 😔 I am very frustrated I feel like the tool advantage of me because I had a small child with me when I heat the pizza up when I got home the pizza became hard as a rock i spent 33 dollars 💰

As a customer I feel completely disrespected and humiliated. For a $30 pizza this is not the customer service I should receive
