Home cooked feel, (Beware - Red Sauce is burning hot!!!) Really good food. Staff is very friendly.
Love this place, great job ne cooking! Great service and reasonably priced menu! Highly recommend this place.
This place makes really good burritos. I would call in an order if you want it to go because they get really busy.
Authentic AF. I think their abuelita is back there throwing down. Everything homemade. Buche order it, you won't regret it.
One the best breakfast in town. It is made when you order. Definitely recommend
Great food but service is super slow. They need to hire more help. Food was delicious.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This restaurant is legit. The food was delicious and the waitress was attentive. Definitely will eat there again when I'm in town.
I put this place on google a few years back, best Mexican restaurant in big Spring Texas, food always great service exceptional and priced are decent! I order ahead and pick up, I have eaten at the place andas I thoroughly enjoy my time at the restaurant
O M G This place right here has outstanding food. Sometimes the drive-thru takes longer than usual but o.m.g :)
Had the huevos rancheros with bacon and tortillas. Very tasty salsa on eggs, beans and potatoes were 👍 whole made tortillas also fantastic! I highly recommend, stop and taste this awsome mexican food 😋
They are so polite and pleasant at this place. I have never had to wait and always get exactly what I ask for. Love it.
Great customer service, super nice, haha and so sweet that she complimented my non-existent Spanish skills, and has excellent food! 1 million out of 10 experience.
One Of My Favorite Places To Eat Here In Big Spring… Yummmmm I COULD JUST TASTE THE Chile Verde Burrito OhhhhMyGosh I don’t have a picture because I can’t ever get to my phone before I inhale it.
It looked very Mexican, very authentic... I thoroughly enjoyed the red Chilaquiles. The breakfast burrito (bacon and egg, at potato and cheese) was great and all reasonably priced.
Ive been here a few times probably some of the best mexican food you will find in west texas that's at a fair price. Nothing fancy just really good food. Tacos and the tortas wont disappoint
Awesome burritos! I need to try more of their menu!
Love love love this restaurant! Amazing food great customer service!
I was hesitant on eating here because the comments at first, but I like to always see for myself. First off I want to say the young lady who took my order was very polite. Now I can’t speak Spanish and she could barely speak English but she tried really hard to understand us and vise verse. The wait wasn’t that long in the drive thru, but we did spend $32 on 4 burritos and a coke in a glass bottle. Let me say that these burritos were by far the BEST breakfast burritos we have had in a long time. The homemade tortillas were so warm and fresh. They will definitely be getting our business again!!
First time trying this restaurant. Food was really good! Friendly service. Will definitely be back to try again.
Burritos are great. Love their chicken enchiladas verdes. If you're ordering to go, I recommend you call ahead. They do tend to take a bit long on the orders. But other than that, I eat there when on my work rotation.
Passing through Big Spring and stopped for a bite. Nice little place, clean restrooms. The food was very good authentic Mexican, but for us, the star of the show was the homemade salsa that came with our chips. So good, we took a quart home and are rationing it out to make it last. Just a little kick and great flavor. Shame we are 6 hours from Big Spring, so won’t get back anytime soon, but it is a great memory.
absolutely amaizing food my go too is the chilli Verde con papas and it never disappoints highly advise stopping in this hidden gem
What was a quick stop on our drive home turned in a pretty tasty experience. Very authentic flavor and a must try. The Tortas and lunch burritos of many flavors are very delicious. Definitely recommend this place!
The best burrito I’ve had in my life. El mejor burrito comí en mi vida. I saw the reviews that it is slow but the flavor is incredible. Quality sometimes takes a little more time.
Chilaquiles are delicious. We've tried both red and green and each are just as good. Chips and salsa is served only after 11 am, which I thought was unusual, nonetheless, I will continue to go for the awesome chilaquiles.
Stop by here every time I'm in town for work. Looks deceiving from the outside and you walk in. Bro, the carnitas and barbacoa tacos are straight up Mexican Sazon. Tasty at a great price.
Great burritos. Reasonably priced. Just down from the TA truck stop.
I don't really like any restaurants in Big Spring, but this place is actually good. The menudo is wonderful, the staff is kind and the barbacoa was delicious!!!! I'll be dreaming about that soup until I return.
So Delicious. Everything, flour tortillas included, is scratch made. Very sweet staff. Give them a little time to get to you as they are doing TO GO, drive thru AND sit down orders. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend.
Great burritos but get ready to wait 30 minutes in their drive thru.
We’re traveling east and stopped in Big Springs for the night. Looked up local restaurants. Was a little skeptical at first. But the food was so good. Everything we ordered was delicious. I wanted to leave a review because it’s very well deserved.
I had an enchilada plate de res with red enchilada sauce. It was very good. Their service was good. Chips and salsa on the house. I ordered a side order of tortillas. They were home made. Only thing I did not like is they serve only bottled water. No refills on water. The enchilada plate was $8.99. The food reminded me of the Mexican restaurants in Laredo. The water is only $1. It was good for the money I spent.
I'm not going to lie I didn't have high hopes when we pulled up but was very surprised the food was great they know how to cook the Eggs and the sauce was not too spicy just right and the rice my wife order was really tender and soft good flavor staff was very friendly but forgetful but that's ok
Food is pretty good honestly. It's a little pricey but usually really tasty.
Pretty good! Food was good, service was ok. They were busy and had lot's ok customers. Over all good!
Good value on the breakfast burritos. Potato and egg and chicharrón with green salsa were both good.
Have only had a few bad burritos from there. Even when I ordered the Stew Meat and get fatty chunks the meat is good and flavorful. 9/10
Finally! A place with Chilaquiles! I'd eat here at least 3 times a week if I lived closer. Laid back atmosphere, reasonably priced, good menu.
Very good menudo. Some of the best I ever had. Food is somewhat slow coming out. But it's hot and fresh.
We had a pretty good experience here. The lady was pretty nice and the burritos were pretty good size and had some good flavor.
Food is amazing ... they always mess up my door dash order tho 😭
I go here when in BS. Last time 6 months ago. Definitely see difference in amount in burritos. Still good flavor. Needs more staff for how busy they are. Recommend calling ahead otherwise be ready to wait.
The burritos are off the chain good. The service was lacking and probably busier than they were staffed for mid-morning. I'd do it all again for the food, though.
Food is good and service is not bad. Helps if you speak Spanish. Menudo is delicious not too spicy. My husband likes their Migas, the plate comes with beans and potatoes. I recommend this place for good Mexican food.
Overall great experience, I have been 10+ times with only one order mistake -- i think likely just a language gap. My favorite breakfast burritos in town. Sometimes slow, sometimes staff are a little short, but again I think it is just the language barrier.
The food was pretty good. The salsa was delicious and fresh. My husband got tacos and they were phenomenal and definitely worth the price. I got the menudo. It was good but a little spicy for my taste. I'll definitely return. Gave four stars because of the wait time. We didn't get chips and salsa until 15 minutes after our order was taken and the food took even longer to arrive.
Went by three different spots trying to find a breakfast burrito on this side of town on a Saturday morning, this was the only one open and it did not disappoint. Ordered a hamburger meat with potatoes. Not really complaining but… I guess it’s been awhile since I paid for a breakfast burrito, this one was $6. Don’t ever remember paying that much for one, but also beats having to make it myself and glad it was open, and the food was really good so the 6 bucks was well worth it this morning. Watch out for that RED SAUCE!! The lady at the window told me it was HOT and I was like yeah I’m good, yeah naw it was good but super hot! Overall, great experience and I will definitely return.
Honest Review The Agua de Jamaica was refreshing just needed a little more sugar, but once I added some, it was perfect. My husband ordered the barbacoa quesadilla, and he really liked it. It was big and filling. He also had the al pastor burrito, but since we’re used to Houston-style burritos, we expected it to come with beans, rice, lettuce, avocado, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Instead, it only had the meat he chose. It felt more like a large flour taco than a traditional burrito it really should be labeled differently on the menu. I ordered the green chile plate and asked what kind of meat it came with. The waitress said pork, so I expected asado de puerco en salsa verde. But what I got tasted more like brisket or roasted beef with a green sauce. It didn’t taste like pork, and the salsa verde didn’t taste like traditional green tomatillo sauce either. I was disappointed with the entrée, but the beans and rice were really good. I also asked if the tortillas were homemade, and the waitress said yes. I ordered corn tortillas, but they were clearly packaged and not made in-house. The chips and salsa were tasty, but the salsa was a bit too spicy for me (even though I’m Mexican, my stomach can’t handle a lot of spice lately). My husband also tried the chile con queso, but it was very clumpy and not enjoyable. One thing they definitely need to improve is the menu descriptions. Many dishes don’t say what kind of meat they come with, which makes it hard to know what you’re ordering. We also got three paletas frías (Mexican frozen popsicles) and a bag of Mexican Cheetos, and the total came out to around $39 not too bad for everything we ordered.
Was in Big Spring for the day and wanted to try a local place. The pictures of the place look kind of sketchy but sketchy exteriors usually have the best food. They must not get many new customers because when I came in and stood at the counter, they were like "Hello?" like they didn't know why I was there. LOL! Once seated, I was well taken care of. They serve bottled water, which is nice. I had the carnitas soft tacos with rice and beans. It was very tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Their chips and salsa, however, were AWESOME!! I bought extra to take home and will definitely revisit next time I'm in town.
Order the barbacoa and it was dry, there was a language barrier as my daughter doesn't speak Spanish nor the lady taking her order didn't speak English and didn't know the menu when we asked questions Food not great but not bad either I'll continue to get something from there when I'm in town
Service was very slow and the food was average. I ordered a egg, bacon and cheese burrito and there was very little bacon.
Extremely slow service, but my shrimp cocktail was GREAT!!
If you want to be served fast, but want to be quiet this is a restaurant to go. Service is not the best, so order everything on the first order.
Man tipped his self $5 instead of asking... We was going to give him $15 but when he tipped his self lol that was wrong but funny never go when that old man there... Food is great though.
Not bad food. Although they did get my order wrong. I don't know that I go back there again
Got the chicharron burrito. It was extremely slimy.. not sure why.. Place is very dingy.. and needs a good cleaning
Stopped by the drive-thru this morning for a couple of burritos 🌯 . I have one question, do they wait for the chickens 🐔 to lay the eggs 🥚. Finally got our order and the eggs in both burritos were way over fried. Disappointed, had heard a lot of good things about this place. Might give it another try later
Good food but very bad service over the phone and in person. The workers are very rude and have no hospitality.
A little overpriced, tortillas were cold. I liked my torta de asada but I would not eat there again.
Stopped by on our way home to Corpus Christi. Bad experience, from waitress being rude to our paying. Charged more than prices on menu. Over priced.
Portions of plate are small and price is tooo expensive. It had very few customers and waitress nor owner did not check on table to see it was or if we needed anything.I am from San Angelo and will be working on a building a couple of blocks away for 2 weeks.Thought it would be convenient for crew to eat there at lunch. But will drive in search of another place to eat.
Food was decent but service was ridiculously slow. I ordered 2 burritos and 3 cars that came after me got their food before I did. Next time they are the only option I’ll just get fast food
Horchata was great, but that's all I liked. My husband liked his Asado Torta but stated it tasted like hamburger meat. He asked for a small side of guacamole for his Torta and was told they only sell them by the bowl for $6, no sides. My red enchiladas tasted like spicy tomato sauce and the rice tasted like the metal pan. They don't make or use homemade tortillas and they claim "authentic Mexican food". Their children run around the restaurant, climbing on booths behind me, looking over our shoulders while we try to eat. Overall, probably won't be going back.
The food is good, but I don't know what happened to them. There was a change of staff, but the service is terrible, the attention too, the time to serve the table is too long and they bring you the food and never come back, and you ask them for something and they get angry or make an angry face. How sad that a place that was good is no longer good.
Sorry guys but. Yall need to keep clean. All the. tables all the time. Are. Nasty batroom. And the. Waitress are. Mad..and. Looks. Like she ain't like to work..at all....
no menudo on the weekend.... horrible service from the waitress no chips no salsa while u wait.
Tio lencho is 10x better and what's the point of a drive thru if it just turns into a parking lot
Only one star because the food is delicious but very expensive ! Also our waitress was very rude like we were doing her a favor by eating there ! Never asked if we needed drink refills and when I paid never said thank you instead just turned around and walked away ! Now I see why Albertos and the Spanish Inn have more customers ! Doesnt deserve a 4.1 rating more like 3.5 ,Never coming back here !
The waiting is ridiculous they don't tell you it'll be 10-15 minutes after you pay go down the street across the street and get something it's not worth it believe me it's not worth it. Cockroach infested little building.
Don't go here. It takes absolutely forever to get your food. They charge you more than what the prices on their window say.
This place takes forever to take your order and it even takes at least 30 minutes for u to get your order don't go to the drive thru u will be waiting forever it seems like they don't want to pay for extra help when they need it the inside is packed so they want to get them out instead of the drive thru this will be the last time I ever come here again
El menudo no esta bien labado y servicio muy lento!!!!would not recommend these place only if you can't find anything else let's be serious they need a lot of things done differently here look around!!!! Smell the menudo it still smells bad seriously!!!
Horrible customer service!!! Passing through town and did not like this place. #1 rule customers are always right! Horrible experience never have i ever had such a horrible experience at a restraunt . Never visiting again.
Food isn't very good. The place was dirty and the waitress did as little as possible. This was our first day in Big Spring. We will definitely find some other place for Mexican food.
Two of my coworkers got the same meal but different prices then when confronted the girls say que? An act stupid but definitely knew English taking our orders. all my co-workers say Everytime they come here the prices are different that's not cool Raza. Update the menu prices and stick to them!
Ridiculous price to pay for two burritos charging extra for cilantro and onions? No wonder this restaurant is lonely, no inventory on drinks, owner should get rid of a few kitchen employees, (no need to have that many employees if there’s no customers) so you can have money for groceries/inventory.
Absolutely the worst tacos I've ever had!!! $68 for 12 tacos is absurd!!! STAY AWAY from this place. It's a waste of time and definitely a waste of money!!!
This place is is not good and doesn’t deserve a 4.1 my kids food was dry couldn’t hardly eat it and it’s way overpriced what I paid there I could of went to chili’s or chipotle or something that Is way better and I think they over charged us and the waitress brought chips and forgot the salsa and the the other waitress was playing with her hair while getting food and didn’t wash her hands I would not eat here if I was you it’s not worth it the only thing that was good was chips and salsa. Better be glad I left a $5 tip and not 0.50 cents. But I am just blessed I got too eat that’s all that matters that’s why we didn’t complain too them just paid and left. And for all that’s saying it’s the best in big springs than y’all must have some bad restaurants in this town cause this was not good I’m sorry but just being honest I cook better Mexican food than them 🙄😒
I don’t know what’s wrong with Texas besides all their Mexican food, sucking… but when you order a burrito, you expect meat , rice ,beans and salsa… you even specifically ask for the burrito to contain all that and they still manage to screw it up. I even speak Spanish. I ordered in Spanish. If you’re still half asleep, don’t be taking peoples orders. I threw it out the window I was so pissed.
The girl that work there was very rude and gave people that ordered after us their food first we were there over 15 min and when we asked she just looked and us and shut the door.very unprofessional with customers..
I’ve only tried their breakfast burritos a few times I guess every time hoping they would be better where the store is it’s very convenient but their bacon and egg taste old or something, the employees are not very kind, their lunch looks good, but I definitely won’t be back.
I went Saturday through the window and a black man who smelled drunk took my order, how disgusting that there are people working like this and his attitude is very terrible. The food is good but the service that dark man gave me was terrible.
Not an actual burrito , burritos were cold took 15 min to get them after I orderd and only orderd 2 the girl at the drive thru window very rude and ugly attitude no customer service what's so ever .
$26 for 3 burritos when I go there all the time made absolutely no sense to me. Will not be going back
I ordered on DoorDash the green chili plate, my meat and beans were cold like straight out of the fridge and had a bay leaf in it still, my boyfriends quesadilla was dry and thrown in the to go box with no care, this place needs to be shut down, I’ve had nothing but problems with them and this is the last straw, I will contact a health inspector since they want to serve meat that is cold
Bland! Dry! Even the limes were dry. Absolutely no flavor, should provide salt and pepper packets. They give nice size portions but tiny sauces. The sour cream was Daisy, it wasn't authentic. They had the audacity to add $3 for the sour cream after I'd already paid for the order. I would never order again! I do not recommend.
The worst tacos I've ever had. Flavorless & some meat was hard some was very fatty. The pictures online show you get multiple red & green sauces. I only received 2 red sauces. Red sauce was good & was the only thing that added flavor. Limes were dry & I barely received onion & cilantro. Waste of $20 added a picture of the hard meat. It was like eating dog food.
I will never be going back to this place again. The customer service is horrible!!! The waitress was so rude and had us waiting a long time to get seated as she went to the back to get on her phone and talk to her coworker. so disappointed 👎
