Love their TO-GO section. The food is hot with good presentation still in mind. The staff exudes a sense of urgency with a smile. Never have I had to ask for condiments or napkins. Its all packaged neatly.

This place was very accommodating. The service was amazing, the was an issue with seating as I am over 400+Lbs and needed 2 chairs to sit comfy, however Jose saw me walking toward the restaurant and knew what to do right away. honestly one of the best ihops i’ve been to in a while. the service was fast and quick but also very reliable. we were introduced by the manager personally herself, leslie, and she was very helpful and confident in her work. the servers were working to the bone and being on top of all their tables. all are very good multitaskers. the food was very delicious and came out quick.

Pleasant dining experience. Our waiter was working a few tables at the same time but my drink was never empty. Food also came out fast and was delicious, credit to the cooking staff 👌👍

I come to this IHOP location every time I visit a friend who lives locally. Staff are always friendly, food comes quick and tastes great, washrooms are always clean. I can't fault it. Bonus points this time because we had my friends 1 year daughter with us and the staff were lovely with her. Customer service was great and food was awesome Our wait time was expected but wasn't bad for the crowd awaiting to be seated Will definitely go back

Andres was an excellent waiter and made the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable, as well as making sure the food was to our liking, asking if we needed refills, all while also providing great service to other tables. Very attentive, very polite, and definitely had a sense of humor when dealing with me and my family. Bathrooms were also very clean

It was my first time into this IHOP location. Juan greeted us well and showed us the way to the table. The whole experience was amazing. Juan the waiter, wad very attentive and made sure me and my partner were well taken care of. Very professional. Food was amazing!!

I don't usually go to this location because I'm closer to the one on Bellflower, but it's pretty late and that one closed at 10pm so I came to this location and I am so so glad that I did. Everything about my experience just made my heart so so happy. The food was super yummy and vegetarian friendly. I got the 2x2x2, but since I don't eat meat, I substituted the meat and eggs for hashbrowns and an extra pancake. I came during happy hour, so I got an EXTRA extra pancake for free. My food came quickly. My pancakes were warm and soft, and my hashbrowns were hot and crispy. I even got fancy and added grilled onions and peppers on top. Delicious. The atmosphere was great, too. Since it was late it wasn't super crowded, which is good for me because I was dining alone and I tend to get overstimulated if there is too much going on around me while I'm by myself. I also really enjoyed the music that was playing. Whoever has aux in this location needs a raise, honestly. And last but not least. My ✨️waiter✨️ I got Juan as my waiter, and I have truthfully never had such a sweet and polite waiter in my life. He did everything I asked him with enthusiasm, haste, and a smile on his face. Sometimes, when I'm dining, I constantly worry that I am burdening or frustrating my waiter, especially since I have dietary restrictions, so sometimes my orders can seem high maintenance. That being said I get afraid to ask for anything from them because I don't want to upset them so I very much appreciate when I get a waiter who never makes me feel like I am a burden. If you are reading this Juan, you made my entire night. Thank you for your phenomenal service and your kind heart. I will definitely be coming back to this location more often. If you get Juan as your server, TIP HIM. He deserves it. ❤️❤️

Service was great! Food was warm and delicious! Walked in at 9am for breakfast and this location was pretty busy. Nothing the amazing servers couldn't handle. I had the "split decision" breakfast with the pancakes and French toast. The presentation was beautiful and looked amazing. Kudos to the kitchen. My server Jessica was attentive and very helpful. Overall, my experience was great and I will be back!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly for almost a year and we absolutely love it. Our favorite waiter, Andres, is always so bright and welcoming, and his service is top notch. The food quality is delicious and consistent, and the kitchen delivers our modifications perfectly. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the place is clean; the music is always enjoyable but not too loud; whether it’s busy or slow, we always get served quickly and our food is truly always perfect. We don’t know the name of manager who sometimes helps us, but he’s also really pleasant and delivers the kind of service that makes us keep coming back. We’ve really come to love this location and I imagine we’re going to keep coming back.

This was the most enjoyable visit to IHOP in a while. I will definitely come back to this one. Very attentive and pleasant. I live in the city of Orange and I will make the effort to come back since the staff and management took the time to serve with a smile.

Bacon was oily and black but not crispy, hasbrowns were not crispy either Server was pleasant. Was with a old high-school friend so atmosphere was what we made it...FUN

Nice clean, lots of caffeine. Tia and I had breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, and sausage.

The food here is very good and well cooked. The pancakes are very delicious. I love the fact that they have different kinds of toppings for your pancakes. I love coming here to eat between 1pm and 4pm in the weekdays because the restaurant is typically not busy at all. & who doesnt want to have breakfast at 1pm? Lol

Area is always clean and bright, Server was extra nice. I got my French toast (loved it) so filling. My niece got some type of cupcake pancakes( looked very pretty) not my cup of tea. Lol!!! I was pleasantly surprised by this location. It was very clean and the server was very friendly. The food was what I expected, not mind blowing but decent. The only negative was that they had a lady walking around trying to sell balloons/balls or something like that. My child instantly want us to get him one (which I did not). I did not like that part of my experience.

Food was hot coming out.. bur it's cold inside while your eating. We was there waiting g to be seated and the young lady didn't even acknowledge us. We had to seat ourselves

I been noticing all the changes implemented by corporate and it saddens me to know eventually I won't be able to go to an IHOP without hurting my wallet. I liked growing up with IHOP because of its simple menu and affordability but I don't even think Happy Hour was available when I went and it was my go to option because of the price and sizes. Staff was lovely and it was clean all around.

The waitress was nice, her service was good, however the kitchen send me a really bad avocado with my omelette and it was one of the reasons I got it. My kids loved their pancakes. Incase you practice social distancing the Tables are to close to each one.

Been going to IHOP for years, they're just not the same anymore. There used to be bigger portions, and I've noticed the quality of some stuff went down as well. Their prices went up, they used to have a variety of syrups and sauces available at the table or with certain sides, they have smaller portions, and some of their drinks such as their Splashberry which is now I think called a Splasher I think, completely changed and decreased in quality and I'm pretty sure it's no refill too...so I would just recommend a lemonade instead of that drink because that's basically what it's become with the decrease in quality. But idk maybe these were just some challenges/issues that happened when I came and it probably depends on what day, time of day, and how crowded it is. I also think one of my favorite servers who I've known for years, no longer works there so(which doesn't have to do with the restaurant itself but still thought I'd mention that but I am not factoring it into my review)

Food is good but service could be better. Manager or server that was working there failed to acknowledge us and the people waiting with us. I didn't expect him to come right away if he was busy but he could have at least said, "be right there," or something.

No hostess? Nobody to greeting you as soon you walk in? You have to wait 15 minutes or more until one of the 2 busy waitress for the entire Restaurant notice you and decides to assign you a table?

Understaffed. This leads to poor service and left me never wanting to return to this particular location. As a rule, IHOPs are consistently good. The manager of this location should re-evaluate his revenue time patterns to better match his staffing.

Lord, I have no idea how the waitress and waiters can work in such a hostile environment. The manager started yelling at our waiter hector over us asking for cream for our coffee if our family would have known that hector was going to be yelled at over his manager being lazy and pathetic we would have drank our coffee without the cream! Slow cleaning tables on a busy breakfast. To many durty tables while the wait list is so long. Looks like managers doesn't care about costumers been happy and get a better service. They need to care more for costumer service.

My friend and I walked in at 9 pm. restaurant was open till 10pm, it took a couple of minutes for the man to come by and sit us, no hello or nothing he said "Are you together"? We said yes , he took us to a table, dropped the menus, and said he'll be back. He came back and said, "You ready?" My friend said," Yes, I'd like some scramble eggs" he said what do you want a combo or what? Then I said "What do you have?" he replied "there is the menu" by this time we were ready to walk out I opted for not eating, my frien ended up ordering the combo breakfast, server brought the bill we paid and sat ther talking, 5 minutes before 10pm server comes by taps at the table and said "you have to leave" simply rude, we got out of there, wondering what is going on over there.

Today, it was a terrible smell coming from the rest room area. It was actually identified as coming from an unsanitary women's restroom. There were only a couple customers, or patrons inside, while several employees sat around. Please pay closer attention to the environment, and unsanitary conditions surrounding the areas.

Ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelette Breakfast. The salsa, sour ream and grilled serrano peppers was missing. I have made three attempts over a 30 minute period to call location and get a recording and cutoff. After 3rd attempt, I called using a different phone number and they answered. This was my first time ordering the Chicken Fajita Omelette Breakfast. Manager did ultimately provide a 20% discount for the inconvenience.

The food was cold we talked to the mngr she said they were fully staffed at the kitchen, that she would talk to her staff. She should not need to if she's fully staffed. No sorry, no thank you, no discount. I don't know how they have a 4.1 hope the reviews are real here. Or maybe it was a better time in the past.

Service was horrible. Food was pretty good but cold. It took a while for them to take or order or even ask if we wanted drinks. My cousin had to walk up to the host after sitting for about 20 min. When they brought out drinks my cousin water was doubled cupped and it had food at the bottom of the cup. After ordering and getting our food not one person asked if we needed anything else. After a while a waiter came to ask if we needed to go boxes. That was it. Like unbelievable. We started to leave before ordering,(should’ve followed our first mind)

I went there today. It was so quiet. Which was a plus. But the service wasn't that good at all. There was only one server. As you see other workers just walking around. They took so long just to even get service that manager took our drink order first. Then waited to speak to server. Finally ordered food. The food took so long to come out. The server brought the food. Never brought me any butter or jelly for my toast. My toast wasn't as good as when i have been to other ihops. My bacon Temptation omelette was dry and my plate looked empty. Overall it was completely horrible but definitely didn't live up to Ihop reputation from my experience today at this one.

We used to go here at least 3 times a month and always had the same waitress, she knew us she saw me pregnant with my son and saw my Foster daughter since she was 22 days old she's 13 now , one of the days I took my goddaughters daughter during the week EVERYONE was new. I asked what happened? no one wanted to say anything. I was very sad. Since then we don't go that much anymore maybe once every 4 months or so, today was one of those days NOT happy with the food. My husband food was too sweet the onion and the stake, my food as you can see NO bell pepers my daughter chicken sandwich she didn't care for the taste. We had never had this happen before. So I think we won't be coming here again. We might try the one in lakewood and see what happens.

2 hr wait for a party of 9 between walking in the door to gettting the food. Ridiculous! Food was ok, server was good but come on! They can't even make an over medium egg without burning it. You could tell they were busy but not too that extreme. Maybe the people sitting customers should use some common sense or the manager should look at the list and make some decisions on behalf of the restaurant. I don't plan to bring my family here again. Website wouldn’t let me order online. Called 4 times was placed on hold; gave my order twice just to be put on hold again without asking for name or giving total just to find out when I get to the location they did not submit my order.

The service was the worst at this location. Ive come here 3 times tryung to give it the benifit of the doubt. But each time it was the worst. The place was pretty empty every time but it can take upwards 30 min to get any service. Waiters arent that pleasant and they never come to check on you. They just bring the check at the end. I cannot reccomend this ihop. I love ihop but this whole place needs new staff or better training or whatever us wrong with these people. At least the food was good.

The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Customer Service, from beginning to end. At the entrance, there was no host greeting, there was only one waitress for many different tables. I had to get his attention to my table because he didn't notice customers going in, and out. Took a long time to get to the table and give out the menu and bring the food. Ordered pick up the French toasts family combo. It states serving are for four people was very unhappy with food it was barely enough eggs for two serving and I asked to substitute my sausage for extra bacon and it was not given the extra bacon. Food was really cold and I’m just down the street.

On Valentines Day, February 14th 2021. The IHOP didn't inform anyone that they were only taking online orders. We've been waiting for 2 hours. IHOP Management didn't inform anyone that they were not taking in people to be seated. Management had poor customer service and communication. If they weren't sitting anyone, why did they take our name then?

The place is dead. Do not come here unless u are OK waiting for the one lazy waiter who makes you wait 2 hours before having you pay. Ridiculous. Can't wait to see this place go out of business. Just left out of IHOP, me & My husband were patiently sitting waiting for about 5 min, not seated at all. A new customer come in they get seated RIGHT AWAY. SO WE LEAVE. I ordered a online curbside pick up order that cost me about $50. I replied online that I was on my way. When I got there there was no designated curbside parking I responded online that I was now there and parked in a parking stall. I waited about 25 min past our ready time and no one came out. I decided to get off and my food was sitting behind that register apparently the had forgotten to make my shake and didn't realize until asked for my food. I ended up waiting another 15min for my shake. They finally handed me my shake and not my food. By the time I got everything the Food was as cold as the Shake. Worst part it was my nephews 17 birthday so I was treating him.

I could say it's been the worst experience ever food was cold, waiting time took forever keep in mind o ordered my food to go there was not a lot of people coming in so I don't understand why they took so long to give me my order and on top of it food was cold also portions were so so so small and presentation was horrible. Aortic chicken fried steak. Looks like they took a steak out of the fridge microwaved it and slapped on some sauce and just put it on a plate. Not good at all. Service was good but that's about it.

Terrible customer service, out of all people General manager is rude and seems to favor certain guests. I dined in but had a terrible experience after waiting for almost two hours people who seemed to be arriving way after i signed in were getting seated immediately and this was brought up to his attention and I was just completely ignored and his only rresponse was its a busy day and you have other ppl ahead of you. Although I noticed people who were just arriving were getting seated before me. I felt discriminated against me and my family. We were only 5 guests. We decided to leave after waiting for so long and being treated that rudely.

We waited over 20 minutes for our order. My grandson almost chocked cause the chicken strips were burned to a crisp at the end. The middle of the chicken strip was still raw not even fully cooked. I dont recommend the deviled eggs either by the time I got them they were cold. I came to the IHOP in lb thinking it would be better than the one in compton. But in all honesty the one in Compton is wayyyyyyy better.

We waited for over 35 minutes for food that never came. When people that were seated after us had their food and two other tables noticed also. But it was a blessing in disguise we found a great food truck that we will definitely visit again

Very disorganized. I ordered curbside take out and when I got there no clear signs on where to go for curbside pick up. I called in and was asked several times what I wanted to order and I had to repeat myself multiple times in here to pick up. After 10 mins of confusion, I finally had someone bring me my food, which was not very good. My omelete had all the ingredients on the outside of them omelete and nothing but egg on the inside. Pancakes were not fully cooked and feel apart with uncooked inside. It was a horrible experience.

I have never had any problems at this location until the last few times I visited it. 1) It took the server to come get our order 15min after we were seat it, servers walk by through us Noone came to even offer something to drink. 2)After 30mim to get our food to my surprised there was a hair.! I only got 10%senior discount. Although I was offer a choice to get it redone or order something else it was pointless because that means I would of waited another 30min.3) all the other times we visit server have forgotten about us or even care to ask if we needed it something it will take us 2times to remind them what we had ask.. This will definitely be our last time visiting this place. Not sure what happened but it's not the same.

I have came to this Ihop ever since I was a kid and never had any issues. It was a great place to take my family out to eat. I ordered a breakfast that included ham, the ham wasn’t even half a ham it was literally a very small piece where i can take one bite and it was gone. I asked the server if this is all they give now and he look embarrassed for me having to ask this question especially when the people next to us agreed on me questioning the portion size. I was very disappointed at how much I am paying and it felt like i didn’t even get a full meal, my bacon was burnt and so was my sausage. The food quality was so bad and disappointing at this location. I have gone to the ihop in lakewood and paramount and never had this issue with these other locations. Its just this location that has gone bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut down.

Usually have no problems but when they start complaining about their job to you on how they messed up then overall I don't go there for you to complain while your working about your job. I don't know you. We are not friends. I am a customer so do your damn job right and maybe you won't have nothing to complain about. Everything was fine until the female with lots of eye makeup opened up her mouth about her job. Wow and especially when she wanted us to feel sorry and give her a bigger tip than she deserved. The manager should not have his particular female employee take orders. I have had other hostesses that were female and none of them complained like she did telling us how she got in trouble and because she didn't know how to discount correctly. Very disappointing. I don't work there but I know how it is done correctly. Why was she telling us this??? Seriously really we go there to eat not hear about your mess ups.

After a long wait of approximately 25 minutes, we were seated only to wait another 20 just to place the order. Management does not Even know how to manage employees as there seems to be no structure here. Employees do not acknowledge you and act as if they were doing you a favor. Customer service has plunged to the bottom of the barrell as price go higher! Avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you want to be mistreated, ignored and not taken care of... Tha bad: Waiting times just to be seated. The good: Nothing at all The ugly: Customer service is horrible and manager is no where to be seen . Portions and quality do not justify the prices. Be prepared to wait about 45 minutes between the time you are greeted to the time they take the order. This is overall a negative experience!

I will not recommend this place. The customer service that I had was horrible. My waitress was the worst out of words. Her attitude was horrible. Very disappointed today. We go there on a regular basis before work. A high school graduating class came in after we arrived and the one waitress took our order then left our food on the counter until it got cold while they delivered meals to the students who came in after us.

I had 2 Crepes and one coffee same as my wife and when the time to paid I almost fell to the ground... Look at the 2 "Crepes" at the photo and look at the price on the receipt... I would have left if it wasn’t because the kids wanted to taste the Wanka pancakes 🤦🏽‍♀️. Food took 20min (+) They brought us the wrong order. Waiter appears until we were ready to check out.
