Went for Sunday Gravy and it didn't disappoint. Just like daddy use to make. Only thing that could have made it better would be a piece of braciole. We had Toya for our server. She made sure our water & tea glasses stayed full. She checked in to make sure everything was ok. We are looking forward to trying some of the early bird specials as well.

The early dining menu is hidden, exceptional value if you can get there 4-5:30p! Check out a wide selection on their website. Early Dining is a momentus value! These days, especially so!!!

OMG salmon Oscar I'd delicious, very tasty. Mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes! Side salad was delicious with blue cheese dressing. Bourbon old-fashioned was good too.

This is a favorite spot of ours. Great food, service (shout out to Olivia), music, and ambiance. We were too full to even order dessert. The braised short ribs and Cowboy ribeye were terrific 👌🏽.

Yum! Came in for the first time to have a weekend ladies lunch date and had a fabulous time. Restaurant was clean, and the front staff was very friendly. Our waitress, Sarah, was so sweet, attentive, and very accommodating of our questions and shenanigans while there. The appetizers came out fast and delish, lunch dishes came out promptly after. Overall great place and will be back again soon

Holly was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, she took such great care of me and my two boys. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our entire meal. Her timing was perfect, her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed. Service from start to finish was flawless—Holly truly went above and beyond. Thank you for such a great experience!

Visiting a friend in the area and she suggested going there for dinner. Arrived shortly after 5:00. Pleasantly surprised that they had an early bird menu still available. Fresh, warm bread with garlic butter was complimentary. Nice selection of dinners for $20 and a couple for $25 (filet.) She got the chicken marsala with chicken noodle soup and I got pork schnitzel with Caesar Salad; both came with mashed potatoes. He's disappeared so I'm thinking it was good.i know my pork schnitzel was. There were tables and booths as well as covered outdoor seating plus a fairly large bar. Decor was contemporary and tasteful. Very comfortable- volume level was good, lighting slightly dim for a more intimate feel. If we were local, it would be a favorite spot. Just visited again today. This time it was October Fest so I ordered Yaeger Schnitzel (chicken.) Very good. And the carrot cake is outrageous! Must try dessert.

This place is a classy throw back to an era gone by. The decor is understated, but elegant. The menu is diverse and offers a nice variety for meat and seafood lovers. We came here on a friend's recommendation while on a short vacay, looking for a nice place to eat. Everything we had was delicious. The cocktail special, which was a coffee martini, was outstanding. The service was friendly, and our food was served in a prompt manner, but not in a rush. We had the crab cake and fried green tomatoes, both awesome, and for our entrees we had chicken francese and the stuffed cod (I appreciated them accommodating my request to substitute vegetables instead of rice). The entrees were delicious and well portioned. To finish off the meal, we had the butterfinger crunch cake that was simply amazing, and a perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant l, and would definitely return again. Great job all around!!

What a great experience dining at Frankie Bones. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Our server Dorretta was fantastic. We started with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. They were cooked and presented perfectly. I started with a Cool Wedge Salad. Perfect size. My wife had the Early Dinner Prime Rib. She enjoyed it. I had the Pork Schnitzel. It was served piping hot and was delicious. All in all a fabous evening spent at Frankie's. We've added Frankie Bones to one of our must visits when we are in town. You won't be dissapointed.

My husband and I highly recommend this newly found restaurant in Bluffton, SC, near Hilton Head, SC and not far from Savannah, GA. The Food had great presentation, temperature, portions, and flavor!!! We enjoyed every bit until we couldn't eat anymore. We are thankful to have some food left to eat and live another day in indulgence. (See pictures of Calamari, Shrimp & Cod with fries, Ribs and shrimp with baked mash potatoes, NY cheesecake and key lime pie.) We now have another getaway spot for just the two of us on date nights!

The BLT was perfect 🥓 bacon was on point. The pasta with clams in white sauce. Chicken pecan salad with strawberries, blueberries, apples, and 5 pieces of chicken strips, The pecan and salad dressing was so tasty. The rum in ginger ale and pineapple juice was well-balanced.

Our server Adriana was very attentive. The food was served quickly. It was hot and delicious. Being able to make reservations is something that I love about Frankie Bones. Keep up the great work! We had the escargot, strawberry and walnut salad, and the fig and prosciutto on cauliflower crust pizza.

Had a great Sunday Brunch at Frankie Bones with family! There is a large selection of alcoholic beverages, and a great selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options to meet everyone's needs. I got a reuben sandwich and was very happy with it. The outdoor seating was very nice too.

I ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were out of this world, good! I am super picky about them. I also had the caprese chicken pita. Absolutely delish! perfect amount of pesto and balsamic glaze ratio. Good portions sizes, very friendly staff!

My Son & I had a great experience at The Fabulous Frankie Bones in Bluffton, S.C. I opted for the tender, delicious Filet Mignon, with Crabmeat Oscar.....Bryan chose the delicious Broiled Seafood Trio, Shrimp, Scallops & Cod. Our Salads with fresh greens wonderful. For dessert, I went with the Limoncello-Mascarpone Layer Cake & Bry had the Creme Brulee. Our taste buds screamed with delight! The amazing server that took care of our every need, for this Fabulous meal was Brittany. Thank you Brittany!!!! Frankie Bones Restaurant & Lounge

I'm already a fan of the Hilton Head location and was excited to try their newest location in Bluffton. I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed! My 2 friends and I sat in a booth that was not only safe distancing but a high-back booth not crammed together like some places. We ordered delicious martinis to start. My rainbow trout was cooked perfectly and served with delicious rice pilaf. I loved the lemon butter sauce that accompanied my fish! The asparagus was perfectly prepared, as well. Our server was fun and checked on us often. We loved her pouring our chocolate martinis at the table! Yummy! We moved outside and enjoyed more martinis until after the last person left. They didn't rush us and we left knowing that we found a new gem in Bluffton!

Really good food and a fun atmosphere. Been here a couple times and have never had a bad experience. Escargot was reallyyyyy good, first time I've ever had it. Entrees are very good, as well.

We had Veal Piccata and Trifecta Pasta and the Burrata salad special. Everything was great. A little too much sauce on the pasta though. We will be back.

Frankie Bones was excellent! The food was great and the background music was fun. The appetizers were huge and lunch was scrumptious ☺️. And the atmosphere was very inviting. We had an awesome time and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Last evening was our 3rd visit to this wonderful restaurant. We drive from Savannah and will continue to do so. As we are Seniors, we use the Early Diner options. Great value, excellent service (Alyssia!) Prime rib, liver and onions, canolli, on and on.

My favorite steak in Bluffton with the 16oz coffee rub ribeye. Calamari is always a great way to start the meal off and Sunday brunches are great.

The service was great Kayla I think.. The food was good but I feel it has fell off over last three years. Steaks went from great to average a bit upsetting considering the price and description with a flare they give. We were seated next to the bar and could barely hear one another due to regulars and there obscenity’s while trying to enjoy a meal at well over 200.00 plus

My mom took us out to celebrate our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. We went for early dining. What a great dinner experience! We were warmly greeted and cared for so graciously by Cooper ( his beginning days of dinner service) and his kind and professional trainer. The food was cooked so perfectly and the presentation was beautiful! We celebrated my mom’s 90 birthday here, we’ve gone for brunch and lunch. This venue is a local treasure! Please keep up the great quality, the friendliness and the affordability!

Travelled from 2.5 hours away to do some house hunting. by the time we got to the area we were super hungry. Found Frankie Bones in the area and figured we'd give it a try. The menu has a wide variety of options, anyone should be able to find something. We ended up with a Reuben and Prime dip sandwich. Both sandwiches were on point, amazing. the Prime dip was probably one of the most tender i've ever had. And usually when places have skinny fries they're over cooked, lack flavor or are greasy. These were none of that, probably some of the best skinny fries we've ever had as well. Thanks for the great lunch! we'll be back

Plenty of parking and easy access. Upon arrival we were concerned with the parking lot being packed. This place is really popular, we were lucky getting a up close parking space near the entrance, our timing was perfect as many of the early dinner diners were leaving. Couldn't have planned it better. Our table, a booth, was immediately aavailable and our server had our drinks on the table with warm bread and butter before we placed our dinner selection. Exceptional world-class customer service, hats off to the chef and kitchen staff. We will have to return again, maybe lunch. Nice menu.

Saturday November 1st, I had my mother a surprise 80th birthday party at noon in the back room. We had 35 people. Holly and Jackie were right on time with the entire party time. My mother asked for 80 candles on her cake, they lit all the candles which looked like a bonfire, but it worked great. Holly and Jackie were so courteous and polite even with the chaos of my family. Kevin was very helpful as well, super nice. I thank Frankie Bones and their entire staff for making the day a hit for my mother. Holly, Jackie and Kevin i appreciate all you did for making the day perfect in every way. Faye

Neighborhood holiday party at noon on a Thursday—4 delicious meal choices and were all excellent. Service was timely and friendly. All were served hot and in a timely fashion. Thank you, Frankie Bones, for making our holiday bright!

Update: We came today for brunch and it was less of a positive experience than last time. I didn't realize that during brunch, you cannot order off the regular lunch menu (we were there at 1pm), which was on me but was disappointing. The server spent more time chatting at the station than checking on her tables. We ran out of drinks multiple times and had to grab other servers to get helped. The hash brown casserole was undercooked and cold. The potato spring rolls were good. The slider buns needed to be toasted. The fried shrimp was more like tempura today compared to our previous visit. They forgot hub's toast, said they'd bring it, and then we had to ask again for it. We also overheard guests celebrating turning 21 by ordering a drink and they had to ask the waitress to check the ID! Just seemed like an ok day for food and not a great day for service. Overall it was a great spot for the prices. We ate lunch on a Tuesday and it was not very busy. It had kind of a restaurant smell, not food but like maybe the carpets needed a good shampooing. The boys loved their salmon burger and their shrimp. My prime dip sandwich was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The sweet potato fries and the shoestring fries were both excellent. Our waitress was incredibly kind and got everything exactly right. I loved that the kids menu was extensive and not just like three items. We will definitely go back! Note: I'm pretty sure Google showed that it was 20 to $30 per person, but I don't think that's terribly accurate unless you're just ordering the most expensive things, or you're ordering an appetizer and entree per person. None of our food was more than $17 per entree. The prices were extremely reasonable.

This was a nice place for Sunday brunch. I had a 3 egg breakfast with sausage and bacon. The only reason I rated the food down a star was the toast was stale. My medium egg order had runny whites. Service was good. We sat at the bar. Nice place. We will definitely go back. Update: 03/08/2025 We came for lunch. I had the parlay with speggitte and meatball with the Greek salad. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I left the stars the same because the salad was over the top with dressing.

We stopped by for appetizers, drinks and desert Friday night. Place is big, nice and clean, we were seated right away. Stellar waitress, great suggestions and great sence of humor, we enjoyed her company. Drinks were very good, that coffee martini was delicious. Canoli on the other hand were just meh... Definitely will be back for a dinner some night!

I’ll get the few criticisms out of the way: the sweet tea was not sweet, the service was pretty dang slow, and the whipped sweet potatoes didn’t have much pizazz to it (needed sugar/pecans). However, I was so happy with how great the Crab Cake dinner and Cannoli dessert was! And the server was nice but she acted like she was in a hurry every time she came to the table. Overall, pretty pleased and ready to go back to try something new.

I didn't give 5 stars because handicapped parking is horrible. There is one spot on the side of the building. Older adults would have a hard time finding handicapped parking. Other then that, the food and service was awesome.

I ordered the broiled seafood trio. I had three scallops, and shrimp. I requested more shrimp to make up for the cod. The shrimp were small and did not taste very good, but it might be that I shouldn't have ordered them to be broiled because the fried shrimp that my husband and children had were great. The scallops were just a little over a size of a quarter and I've had better. They weren't terrible, but not amazing. My son loves the spaghetti and meatballs; their meatballs are particularly good. If the place were a little cheaper, I would feel better about it. But, my three tiny scallops, and 6-8 small shrimp, and pile of rice we're not worth $30. Our waiter was fantastic.

Good staff and decor. Seems pricey what they offer. Salad was good, linguine was was good. The pizza should only be on the kids menu, it was small and fast food like.

J

Have mixed feedback on the food. My wife had a goat cheese salad that she can’t stop talking about and I tasted and was excellent. I had a broiled seafood platter and it was pretty bland. Not a lot of seasoning . Maybe a bit under broiled to not get some Maillard reaction. just very run of the mill shrimp and fish, almost like it was blanched in butter rather than broiled. Didn’t taste bad but was not something I would want again.

The food was good but I was disappointed in the inflexibility. Also the presentation was pretty inconvenient. I was served 3 small dishes instead of at least 2 of them on the same plate. They say they can accommodate GF yet when I asked for a GF roll of bread for my half sandwich, it was not available. Other than that, the booth was exactly what we requested in reservations, our server Juliana was TOP NOTCH, and the cannoli provided to our 2 birthday peeps was excellent.

We were in tonight for a quick drink and small dinner. The food was very good and the service at the bar was great. When I got the bill and realized I was charged $3 for ice in each of my bourbons, that's when my opinion of the evening changed. Who charges for ICE?

I want to start by saying I have always wanted to try this place, heard good things and always seemed busy. So over the weekend my husband and I tried it, let me say I was not impressed. So let’s dive into why: The atmosphere is nice not designed for families with small kids but great for date night or girls night with cocktails. We placed an order over the phone for pick up. When I arrived there were 4 ladies at the front desk only 1 greeted me and said she will get your check out (the girl helping a gentlemen with his order) the 2 others were probably waiting for a table for their section. So once the girl was done helping the other customer she did not look at me I had to speak up to get help even though the 3 other girls were standing there as well chatting away. Food: the price suggestion is not wrong but if I am going to spend $100 on 2 meals I expect service with a smile. I get home and my order was WRONG! I order chicken parmesan and ask for NO tomato sauce at all. And I get home to see tomato sauce, you may think but tomato sauce is always on this dish and that is correct but if you are mom and had children there are certain things you can no longer handle anymore and for me TOMATO Sauce is one. The fried mozzarella tasted fake and a little slimy. I do not recommend them at all. The ribeye was soaked in so much butter to make it appeared to be tendered. Plus I asked for a twice baked potato instead we received red mash potatoes. But at least now I know that this place is not for me.

Was there for birthday celebration. Turned into wishing for service. Lilly was less than attentive. Informed manager food was great and service "sucked" Mgr said he'll look into it. Other servers in the area were a 3 to 1 with their service for patrons. Wanted 3 or more Godiva chocolate martinis, but didn't happen. Who knows maybe bad night for Lilly, but not excuse for bad service. Would go back for the food and atmosphere, and hopefully an enjoyable experience. Manager was even assisting with customers. He realized there was an issue that needed to be addressed.

This was my birthday, we always had great food here, tonight, just mediocre. I got the spaghettini and clams.. tasted like pasta in chicken broth.. no garlic taste no olive oil. I had to wait to even ask for some grated parmesean. My husband got chicken piasano, the sauce was a thick gravy. Everything was ordinary, not wonderful as before. Did you change things? Calamari was excellent though, drinks were good.

$20 pick up order, one piece of fish and a bunch of stale fries. I wasn’t in the car that long not their best work. Kind of even looks like a half a piece of fish that ended up on somebody else’s plate because it’s missing so much batter on one end.

As a first-time customer, we were very disappointed in the customer service at Frankie Bones, Blufton. Frankie Bones came highly recommended by a friend to my father in-law. So, it was only natural he chose this location to celebrate with family & friends after getting married. The location was perfect, and the private room was very elegant. He had reserved for 25 people and when we arrived the table was ready, and they sat us with no hesitation. The waiters came, introduced themselves and started taking appetizer (the spinach dip, green tomatoes and mozzarella sticks were great) and drink orders. Right before the food came out, is when things began to take a turn for the worst. The ceiling started leaking on the table and after notifying the manager, she cleaned the table up and offered to leave a dish towel for my sister in-law to continue wiping the table off as it leaked. Not only was this gesture unprofessional but unsanitary as well, to have to do as a customer while eating. I ordered the NY Brick Steak & Crab-stuffed Shrimp. When my food arrived to the table, I noticed something red sticking out of my mashed potatoes. I figured it was a plastic skewer, the kind that normally comes in a steak, so I immediately pulled it out, ready to dive-in, only to realize that it was a plastic bread tie. I couldn’t believe my eyes!! I couldn’t for the life of me understand why a plastic bread tie would have been in my mashed potatoes. Thankfully I didn’t start eating it yet or most importantly, give any to my 9mos old baby. I immediately called the waiter over and he sent the manager to the table. The manager arrived at the table very defensive and not at all apologetic, he began saying he did not know where the bread tie came from or how it got on the plate but he was for sure it did not come out of the kitchen that way. I reassured him that I do not walk around and put bread ties in my food. He then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted the food replated or whether I wanted a new plate. I could not believe my ears, as someone whose worked in customer service for 10yrs, I would have never thought to ask a customer if they wanted the same food with something foreign in it on a new plate. I asked for a completely new steak on a new plate. He stated that he did not appreciate the implication that the bread tie came from his kitchen but could not explain where else it could have come from. He brought the food back with an attitude, asked me to cut into my steak to ensure it was right then said he took it off my bill as if that was my primary intention. I’ve definitely had better tasting $30 steaks. After everyone’s food came out, no one ever came over to inquire whether things were good with our meal and/or if we needed anything. However, that same male manager visited each table to inquire about everyone else’s meal but never once approached our table. Frankie Bones, Blufton, SC has extremely poor customer service and they discriminate against their guest. We will not be returning to this location!!P

The food has gotten progressively worse. Steaks are severely overcooked. They obviously don't know anything but we'll done. They food is bland. They just no longer care. Service is terrible and drinks are so overpriced.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience @ Frankie Bones in Bluffton was disappointing and needs to be shared. Our waitress provided very limited service—she took our drink orders, brought them to the table, and never returned to offer refills. Three out of five people in our party ordered the buffet, which required no service from her at all. No additional items were ordered, and nothing extra was offered throughout the meal. Despite this, she was left a $19 tip (about 15%) by my elderly father, which he felt was appropriate for the service received. To our surprise and discomfort, the waitress actually returned to our table after we had paid to ask for a larger tip. This was unprofessional and left a very negative impression. My husband slipped her a $20 as we were leaving thinking my father had left her nothing by the way the waitress behaved. She ended up receiving $35 for us occupying a table for 1 hr total. Again, no refills offered or extra items ordered. Tipping is meant to reflect the level of service received, and in this case, the service did not justify being asked for more. It’s unfortunate, because the food itself was great, but this interaction left our entire group feeling uncomfortable and not willing to return to a restaurant we had past loved. I will not name the waitress, but I would like to compliment Sandra, our hostess and Ethan our food runner for their excellent service and professionalism, I hope the waitress shares part of the over 30% tip she ended up receiving with them.
