Hubby and I had the opportunity to dine at Sizzler-Blythe on Friday afternoon 5/27/2022. It was the beginning of a three day Memorial Weekend. He ordered the steak and jumbo shrimp plate with a side salad. I ordered the steak and shrimp skewer plate. All of our food was delicious and the service was great.We enjoyed every bite! We are so thankful that our Sizzler is open and serving up good food again!!!

Stopped here for lunch as part of a bus tour stop. I was impressed how easily they handled 42 unexpected guests. Most people did the all you can eat salad bar which included tacos clam chowder soup and lots of tasty salads. Brought back memories from 50 years ago when they were common in Australia. Only minus was the toilets definitely need an urgent upgrade.

Ate here last night for dinner. Got here kinda late so sorry to the staff for that but we had to take care of our broken down car. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Salad bar was stocked and tasty. The jumbo shrimp was REAL good. We were all impressed with it.

Find the time portal and stop in the Sizzler. You are immediately transported back to the 1970's in the best way. Order at the counter and be sure to order the salad bar. Very rare to see these days, but they still have a very large salad bar with the taco station and desserts. I have a prime rib burger, and it was really good.

Great prices and great service. Blythe Sizzler has a wonderful salad bar. Just a little tight on the seating at the center tables, soda and ice cream machine are a little nosy if you have to sit by them.

This was my first time going to a Sizzler in the 21st century, but this one was nice. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The steak was a bit tough but tasty. The salad bar was decent with fresh hot foods.

My husband is a truck driver love coming hear parking lot is huge and so we get lunch and a nap after really amazing working and food is amazing keep it up

This is a typical Sizzler location. I always enjoy their senior unlimited soup and salad. As usual, the salads were fresh, and the selection was quite good. My standout was the waitress. She was busy and alone, it looked like. But she made sure everything was in order and customers serviced.

The restaurant was very clean the temperature was cool almost cold. They have a beautiful salad bar very well stocked with fresh veggies, greens, fruits and jello lots of options. The tri tip steaks were perfectly cooked along with the sides.

On this stretch highway from Arizona to California there are limited choices for food. Read the reviews and decided why not try it. If you are a senior great prices. If not, can be pricey. Just lookup coupons at retail me not.com. BOGO to 1/2 half off. Then my price was better then senior pricing lol. The steaks were great, salad bar could use few more hot choices the staff was friendly. Ice cream bar = 5 stars. Closest DQ is Parker. Great place for a full a dinner or a full lunch. Oh yeah they serve alcohol!

Miserable day on interstate 10, so we needed a break and a retro meal at Sizzlers. Seriously, it's one of the best Ribeyes I have had at any cost. Gotta love the ole school salad bar, and my bowl was stacked super high with Krab salad and regular salad with fresh pineapple chunks and banana pudding. The garlic cheese bread was excellent, and the ice cream bar definitely didn't disappoint . It's time to expand Sizzler again everywhere.

OMG yes! There is not much to eat in Blythe that's open late, but if you can catch Sizzler before they close, I recommend it. The service was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my Classic Trio dinner (sirloin, shrimp, and Malibu chicken) and my beer after a long day at work. So good. Did I mention how nice my server was? I'm definitely coming back. I gotta try the ribs next time. Hopefully they don't sell out again. I guess it's that good.

An excellent choice for lunch. The soup & salad bar is great, as is the Malibu chicken. And a funny thing is that it is cheaper to eat here than McDonalds.

Clean. Friendly. I had the salad bar. I was very disappointed. The spinach was wilted. Most of the lettuce was browned. My friend quickly reported this to the manager and it was replaced. Very nice staff - salad bar was great! Tri steak was awful. I don't think this cut of beef works as a steak - too tough. Smoked on the grill Santa Maria style BBQ does this cut of beef best. Ordered the tri tip and just left it - too tough to eat. On the other hand son ordered the rib eye and it was EXCELLENT! Only complaint with it was it was a tad overcooked - ordered med and it was med to well done. Great place to stop and when traveling I-10.

This is an old school Sizzler. The salad bar was about half the size of one we had just been to in Sacramento and much older. We had the salad bar and the lettuce and all items seemed to be fresh and tasted ok. Wasn't wild about the soup. The service was excellent but we were in there between lunch and dinner so it was not busy at all.

I didn’t take photos but I can tell you that this was the best place in Blythe to eat. The salad bar was good and there was a large selection of food, including chicken wings, taco bar, meatballs and ice cream. Prices cannot be beat. We felt safe and by the time we left the restaurant was full.

I've read the previous reviews. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was good. I had the salad bar, wife had the Malibu chicken. Nothing bad about either. Location isn't great, but we were comfortable there. Older building, but clean inside. Cost was $28. Probably a little more than Denny's, but less than other places, and we both left full. There's pretty much nothing in Blythe but fast food and Mexican restaurants. We'll be stopping here again. Edit RE the owners response below: Did I miss something? I gave this establishment a 4 star review and didn't actually list any complaint.

Better than expected for sure. We had the ribeye and it was cooked nicely. We enjoyed the salad bar per usual.

The food tastes great, honestly better than at any other Sizzler I've been to. However, the food and drinks take a long time to come out. The service is still friendly, and the place is lively and feels safe.

We had an unfortunate incident with our vehicle that landed us here at Sizzler in Blythe. However, the food and the service was great. It overshadowed the ungood situation and we had a great lunch experience. From the lovely lady that took our order, to our server, and the other guests at the restaurant. All was well. The food was fresh. And the hot food was hot and delicious. I have always loved the clam chowder here and this time was no different. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Not many sizzlers left, I didn't think the salad bar was all that fresh so we opted to skip it, but the steaks were excellent.

Parking is plentiful, entry is easy. Order at the counter then have a seat. They will bring your order farily quick. Drinks are self serv. If you get salad or the salad bar, grab it yourself. They have one trip or unlimited. There are many good choices and some you don't need to tell your doctor about. Food was ok. The plates were cleared and replaced (for unlimited salad bar) in a timely fashion. Ice cream bowls and cones by the soda fountain. Grab some before you go. I will return. I may just do the unlimited salad bar.

My daughter and I had lunch there today. The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Their salad bar was amazing. It was the cleaned salad bar I think I've ever seen and so well stocked with fresh products and a huge variety of items. I would recommend this Sizzler any day. Funny thing was, I'm from the south and all of the Sizzlers there have been closed for years. I never expected to find this little gem. Something that really stood out was that I had ordered the veggie medley with my steak and it took a little longer to get my meal. Sizzles used to be great. We were all dissatisfied. The Malibu chicken was a breaded pattie with ham and cheese. Temp was warm. There is a severe lack of selection. We had a reservation as a group of us were going. The hostess was never told. Would never go back.

The big ribeye was pretty good. A little too much fat on it, but still good. The shrimp was kinda wierd, like it was bits of shrimp pressed together and breaded, but it had a tail on it. Had a weird texture when eating. Ordering is also kind of weird, and the menu is kind of confusing. And you have to stand there looking at it, and walk up to the counter, and order like a McDonald’s. (I know there sizzlers deal, just saying confusing for me.) Beer selection is lacking. $40 even (before tip) for big steak, shrimp, baked potato, one trip to the salad bar, and iced tea. Atmosphere was very boring, like no one wanted to be there.

My wife's order was taken incorrectly, but we did not realize until the food arrived. I ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp. The steak was on the overdone side and not a lot of shrimp. The rest of our food was decent. I got the lone servers' attention and asked for more shrimp, which I never received, gave up, and left after about 45 minutes of waiting. Seems like the server is overwhelmed with tables.

I ordered an main dish and salad bar from the senior menu. The soup was cold and the other hot foods looked like they had been sitting, almost empty containers, well past code. Fortunately we were traveling and I will not be eating there again. My advice is don't eat at Sizzler in Blythe, CA.

This was the worst dining experience we have had in a long, long time! Upon arriving, the posted menu noted that Beer and wine weren't currently available. (New owners waiting on license) Next, we were told that told that the grill was not working, so no steaks or burgers were available. As we were with a group of fellow RVers, we decided to tough it out and do the Unlimited Salad Bar. That was a mistake!! The salad bar was not being attended to, and many options were missing. The soup options were lukewarm, and my Clam Chowder didn't have a single clam piece in it! Our server tried very hard but failed because she was stretched across half the restaurant. It would be a public service if the owners simply closed their doors!!

Salad bar is good. The hamburger was so salty it was uneatable. Not sure it was real meat either. Hamburger and fries were cool when they finally made it to the table. Service was slow, but very friendly

Paid for a 2/3 pound of meat on a burger and got THIS! I could taste the last meal cooked on the grill they used to cook my burger too. Yuck!!

Update! Been there twice since the review about being closed early. Both times I had the steak and shrimp for $22... I had to return the steak both times for being charred so bad it tasted burnt! The cook needs to be taught how to cook steak! ‐------------------------------------- Went there at 8:10 pm and the door was locked. Called and was told they decided to close at 8pm. Went across the street and spent $40 for groceries.... wanted a steak tho...

Husband ordered medium tri tip, absolutely rare. Witnessed a Waitress addind water to the A-1 sauce and giving it a good shake. Does she know that ruins the flavor? The toast was not toasted completely leaving it kinda soggy. I Ordered a buffet salad, lettuce beginning to show signs of wilting with brownish edges, and chicken wings very over cooked. Waitress was nice and helpful however the food left me wishing for fast food.

The service was good, otherwise, not a huge fan. Hadn't been to a Sizzler recently so I was not familiar with the current experience and I didn't care for it. The salad was nice but the rest of the food at the salad bar was just bad. The soups were inedible and the pasta was gross. My entree was the Malibu Chicken, which turned out to be a very sad version of chicken cordon bleu. The rice pilaf was not bad. Lastly, don't buy the wine, the red was bad and the white was absolutely terrible.

Service was horrible place was not even full and said would be an hour wait. Never had the opportunity to try the food.

Unbelievable experience last night where a dozen of customers are desperately trying to get inside during business hours but all the doors are locked. Going around the building, the entrance door has a sign broken, the exit door is locked, and the other entrance is also condemned. Few customers are eating while the staff is busy talking among themselves. We knocked the doors and the windows but they just ignore us. Obviously they don't want our business so 3 cars with clients left out of desperation. I have never seen this before...

Your going to waste your money trust me. The last 5 times I have given them a try they screwed up my 30 dollar steak. I just won't order stakes anymore only salad bar and they put minimal amount of effort in to that. The waitress the one with her gums pierced with tattoos on her hands she was awful. We purchased the all you can eat salad bar, but when I asked the waitress for another plate, she refused. My husband ordered unlimited crispy shrimp and had to ask twice for another serving. With the cost of this meal, the service should have been impeccable! We will NEVER dine in that restaurant again!!

Took dad out for an early Father's Dad dinner. Total waste of $100. Our waitress was nice and attentive even considering that towards the end of our meal we noticed she was the only waitress serving the very full restaurant. We all ordered steaks and baked potatoes. Every baked potato was cold and none of our butter ever melted. Steaks we not seasoned at all and mine was under cooked. If only ownership and management would understand that consistency is key. Stop cutting corners it's going to kill yet, another business in this dying town.

Disappointed. I'd give 0 or negative stars if I could. The hot foods in the salad bar were not worth $15.99 even if unlimited trips. Potato wedge/chunks were cold, taco meat was worse than TacoBell, nacho cheese too thick/not hot. Soups were even worse. Garden and other salads were standard. Floor service was unorganized and it was like they'd never had a dinner rush before. Never got rolls/bread like server said she'd bring and had to hunt them down for new plates for repeat trips. Salad bar stocker picked up lettuce from tray rest that a customer had not gotten on their plate??, put it in the new lettuce/salad bucket she had to restock then dumped it and the new salad in the bowl for others to use. Also had a hamburger that was good but nothing spectacular. Soft serve ice cream dessert bar was limited but good. I wouldn't eat here again and wouldn't recommend the salad bar to anyone.

Took the wife out for steak on her birthday..... no steak! No fish! No burgers! Only thing available was the salad bar! Rather pissed that we had to settle for a salad bar for her birthday out in a small town with limited options.

Ordered lunch they only had 4 choices to drink coffee cranberry juice orange juice or milk. I asked for soda they said they didn’t have. I then asked for water they said they didn’t have. Got my food and items were missing from my plate server never came to check to see how I was doing. Instead the two of them were talking on the other side of the room. I never leave reviews but this was definitely unacceptable customer service. Hopefully they were just having a bad day.

The salad bar was good, but that's about it. My steak had a weid texture to it. It's hard to explain, but it wasn't right. Other than that, it's like eating at a fast food place. You pay before you sit down, you refill your own drinks, all they do is bring your food to your table.

Love the environment, the hospitality and the service. Food was sub-par quality for the price. Steaks were overcooked, shrimp was gummy and rice was a slab that could be completely picked up with finger tips.

We left without eating. The staff was out the back of the restaurant smoking pot. Not something I want the staff who is preparing my meal to do on shift.

Ordered medium rare steak. Got it about medium to medium well. All of the food on the buffet was old and dried out. Paid 40 bucks to eat, basically, a McDonald's meal.

Very disappointing Sizzler. Service was good and salad bar is fine, but for a place known for steaks it is very disappointing. My family ordered three different steaks - kids meal steak, tri-trip, and the ribeye. All 3 were chewy and bad. I'm sure they were all rush defrosted in the microwave when ordered. I keep giving this restaurant a chance at it's one of the few sit down restaurants, but seriously, don't order the steaks. I guess they figure everyone pays when they order and everyone's a traveler so they don't care about quality of the steaks. I brought home pretty much the whole steaks as we couldn't eat them and even my dog didn't want it.

This is by far the worst Sizzler's location I've ever encountered! First thing I noticed after I walked in was how dated everything was inside from the interior/exterior, salad bar and dining area. However, my ordering experience was pleasant I will say. I ordered to go the 🥩 n 🦞 plate with the intent to add a salad bar. To my dismay the salad bar sucked! The 🥬 🥬 was welted and browning by the hour I'm sure. Freshness had left the building in a nutshell. So, I passed in order to get soup instead. Can you believe they didn't have clam chowder!! 😭 😡🤬 I was done and there I sat waiting for the sever to tend to me which she never did. She had to have walked past my table 5 times without eye contact. So, I moved to the table near the order station still no acknowledgement 15 minutes later. I watched her walk out twice with plates for other guest. One of which one her 2nd run looked like mine. I witness her conversating with a seated guest about the plate then turning away passing me along the way. I got up walked to her prep station and said, "that's my plate!" Slightly annoyed 😠 never apologized just gave me the stank face. Btw my steak was tough as hell!

New ownership it seems, we wont go back. Burgers were way too greasy to eat. No soft drinks available. Salad bar was empty. Waitress was nice, not her fault. They gave us our money back for the drinks because they only had diet coke and Dr. Pepper. Zero stars for food quality. All prices went up. No thanks, better options in town.

Salad bar was awfully, bowl for soup was dirty and my plate was dirty also.

I ordered ribs, it comes only few pieces super dry, about 24h old and overloaded with awful BBQ sauce 🤮 that looked like diarrhea. Spaghetti was dry and no flavor. $17 for salad is very fancy ☝️ safe your money and to better place.

Worst Sizzler I've ever been to. Don't waste your money. The salad bar was tiny and the only hot options were chicken nuggets, tacos and soup. We both got the 8oz sirloin. It was the worst "steak" that I've had. It was greasy like a hamburger. So much so that I wouldn't even call it steak.
