Recensioni di Bagel Boy Brooklyn
Great food been a staple to the Sheepshead Bay area for decades. I have gone to them since I was a baby before they were at this location. If I remember correct they were on Ocean Avenue in the 90's.
Bagel Boy at 8002 3rd Avenue is nothing short of a bagel‑centric marvel—an establishment that somehow manages to defy the laws of texture and physics simultaneously. Their bagels are puffy and fluffy, yet dense, chewy, and satisfyingly weighty, as though engineered by a team of carbohydrate physicists determined to perfect the Platonic ideal of a bagel. The Egg‑Everything bagel, in particular, should come with a disclaimer: “May induce sudden optimism.” One bite and your entire day recalibrates itself toward hope, productivity, and the general belief that life, in fact, is good. The flavor selection borders on encyclopedic, and the cream cheese options feel infinite enough to require a tasting syllabus. Their sandwiches—excuse me, sammiches—are inventive, clever, and genuinely delicious, the kind of creations that make you briefly consider writing a thank‑you note to the chef. In short: Bagel Boy is a neighborhood treasure. Go once, and you’ll understand. Go twice, and you’ll start rearranging your morning routine around it. Disappointment simply isn’t on the menu.
I don't live in Brooklyn but when I do I always go to bagel boys for everything bagel. Today I I'm extremely disappointed. Is there a cream cheese shortage? Everywhere I go they are cheap with cream cheese . Are specifically asked to not be cheap!!! 🤦♀️ But I can't give a bad rating because the angels are amazing.
One of the best bagels in Brooklyn! Stopped by Bagel Boy for breakfast, and it totally lived up to the hype. The bagels are fresh, soft inside with the perfect crunch on the outside — just the way real New York bagels should be. The staff is friendly and fast, even when the line is long, and the place has that classic Brooklyn energy — busy but cozy. And I have to say — their coffee is excellent, rich and full of flavor, a perfect match with a warm bagel in the morning. Highly recommend this spot — great food, great service, great vibe!
Great spot early morning for coffee and a bagel. You can be in and out in 2 minutes. Awesome bagel. Coffee was too sweet, wanted 1 sugar but got 2. Still coming back for sure. All the utility workers trucks are outside, they know this is a good spots for a bagel! The cops know it too, saw someone getting a ticket for being double parked. Coming back for sure
Truly a staple to the neighborhood growing up and all around Brooklyn New York bagel boy has always had top-notch service quality and hospitality excellent excellent bagels eating a whole wheat everything bagel with egg on it I just say to myself this is probably the best tasting bagel I ever had in my life from traveling and going all around the world happy to see they are still in business, striving, especially through crazy economic times in society, hats off easily to this establishment and business
If you want fresh bagels, this is the place. It's one of the best bagel places you could go in Bay Ridge, very friendly and always improving. Fresh and the coffee is good.
The store is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They have multiple locations. They have a nice selection of bagels. The whole wheat everything bagel was very good. The tuna salad was well-prepared. Many options for breakfast. Salads can be made to order. Variety of cold cuts and cheeses. Large choice of drink options. Well staffed and friendly worker who assisted me with my order.
Nice bagel. I had an egg everything toasted but with butter. Threw the guys brain through a loop when I asked for butter on the BLT. Very busy place, with a constant line inside and it took me a few minutes to find meter parking. You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite. Young man at counter was very helpful and focused.
The sesame bagel with egg cheese tomato is my jam. The bagels are soft and you can get it quickly. Im sure all the spreads are lovely too. This place is an institution in Brooklyn.
As the busiest bagel store boasting Bay Ridge’s biggest bagels, they are basically continually baking. No fear of a staleness, but bulky bagels bring big crowds and soon after sunup on Saturday and Sunday, despite having a full staff hard at work, sometimes there is a lengthy waiting line. Their homemade style cakes are never labeled but always appear as if wrapped in plastic by an unsupervised five year old. Priced at $2.25 each they are tasty, but sometimes sold somewhat stale as the scotch tape used to seal the bag is inherently ineffective.
Ordered: BEC on a roll, and a toasted everything with butter. BEC: The cheese was unmelted, the bacon was flavorless, and the eggs tasted old. The sandwich wasn't even warm. Bagel: The bagel was really good, but they barely toasted it (was more white and mushy than brown and crispy) it tasted cold, and there was more butter on the paper than the bagel. This place used to be good. Oh well.
I called to place an order over the phone because I didn’t have much time but they said they don’t take orders over the phone(I never heard of that but ok) so I walk in, there’s a lady waiting and I stand behind her. They see us standing but don’t acknowledge us at ALL, I wait a bit but they’re just walking around completely ignoring that we’re there, I left. I can’t understand how you can treat your customers like that and it’s not the first time they ignore their costumers like that.I really don’t think I’ll go back there, they’re not too friendly
Ordered a toasted raisin bagel with cream cheese (overpriced $3.95+ tax but decided to get it anyways) and as shown in the photos there were 2 raisins and the color of the bagel is more on the white side than brown. My last time buying anything from there. Also, don't know if anyone have the same feeling as myself, but the people working there, gives off rude unwelcoming, don't come here vibes. The customer service needs to improve.
