Great vegan options and nice, big portions! Would be nice to have a vegan option for the kids meal and please take the milk product out of the batter for cauliflower bites and fried pickles! Very sweet and friendly servers here too.
Excellent costumer service, the one who served us was the best, Mohith kudos Mate!
Best bison burguer I’ve ever tried. Definitely worth it
Mohith was awesome! Smash burger and secret sauce absolutely slaps!!
Waiter Mowdhi (sorry for possible misspelling) Went above and beyond to make sure my meal was dairy and soy free due to a dietary restriction highly appreciated very patient and diligent.
Excellent burgers! Perfect for when you just want a good burger.
We came in on a whim when a nearby burger spot was unexpectedly closed. We loved the food!!! And I was extra thrilled to find they have vegan cheese and vegan dips- which gluten free options as well. We’ve added this spot to our must go to spots when visiting Brooklyn!
Thank you Moe and staff! You were great and super attentive! Will be coming back the food was perfect
The lamb burger is a must, add some BBQ sauce to it and you're in heaven. The service was great too.
Fantastic food all around! Just missed the lunch special, which ends at 4:00pm, and is a great deal at $17... Had the beef burger, fries, onion rings, and tater tots. All were great and I will be back! Only a few customers when I was there but probably because the time of day. Had multiple tvs playing sports 👍
Burger Village is hands-down our favorite casual spot to eat. The food is consistently delicious and always cooked perfectly. The service has been terrific on every visit. The staff are genuinely polite, warm, and welcoming, which really sets the place apart. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it makes for such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliably great meal with outstanding service.
Mohith gave incredible service, going over all the vegan options & customizations - he made our experience at Burger Village tops!! The falafel is A+ too!!
We came here super late at night and they were still open and serving dinner! We had one black beans burger and one bison. Both were great and not too greasy or heavy. You can personalise everything about the burger, and they have so many options! Great place for vegetarians, too. Will definitely come back!
Best burgers I've found in Park Slope. Awesome toppings ... Fresh and organic. The shakes are on point!! EDIT: A year later and I love Burger Village more every time I go. The people are great and the food is awesome. The green bowl salad (add grilled chicken, turkey bacon and grilled jalapeños) is my favorite salad in Park Slope.
Mandy was an exceptionally sweet and kind server. She tried very hard to satisfy us.
My sever was just the epitome of outstanding service. Considerate, attentive, and kind aayusha was just wonderful and made my experience here a treat😇
Great place for dinner! Tons of customizable options. Great food & great service. Mohith was kind and helpful - thank you!
I must say , food was on point from salad 🥗 to chicken sandwich and cant forget the loaded fires 🔥 our waiter mohith was very excellent made us feel welcome from beginning to end !!!
Discovered this place a week ago and have been there twice already. The way they set up the ingredients is really clever and unique. They serve >10 types of patties from animal protein and vegetable protein; have different sets of toppings and two types of breads so you can basically have whatever you want. Sides are separate. If not from nyc, it may be pricier than usual for a burger but for here it’s the average price for a restaurant. Had the bison burger with retro era on multigrain bread and then bison burger - again - and retro era with extra of avocado. Side of seasoned French fries. Will go again and again here! IG: @tutieats
Everything was excellent but it's not cheap. 2 burgers and 1 side was $60 with tax and tip
Amazing experience here. Mohith was extremely respectful & accommodating with requests. Definitely coming back.
Burger Village is one of our go-to spots for a casual, delicious burger. The food is always great, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. We especially love seeing Lizzy - she’s always warm and cheerful, and it’s a pleasure to be greeted by her every time we visit. Whether it’s just the two of us or the whole family, this place hits the spot every time.
This burger spot has all kinds of burgers. I'm really surprised with the menu. Ordered the food, and it came really qiuck being they was busy. Burgers was great and cooked how I liked. French fries were great and freshly made. The place is well lite and nicely decorated. This is a 5 star spot that you definitely must try.
I LOVE that you can order in certain combos! What a glorious idea! I wish all restaurants did this! I had the bison burger “my deer” style and seasoned fries and I cannot wait to try some more of their foods! Yuuuuummmmmm! I had to get it to go and the food was still delicious after an hour! WHAT A GREAT FIND!
Burger Village is the first burger joint I've ever visited that has a menu that can satisfy both meat-eaters and vegans alike. This location used to be Cheeburger Cheeburger, a strictly meat-only establishment. I'm sure that due to this new restaurant being in Park Slope full of educated people with vastly different nutritional lifestyles, serving burgers with meat and non-meat options was a smart move to corner both markets. My son ordered a beef burger; I ordered the Impossible Burger, a vegan burger that tasted amazingly meat-like. For the vegans out there, there were five vegan burger options to choose from. Pretty much everything in this place is organic including the bottles of ketchup and mustard that were standing at each table. There are eight different salads to choose from, but we didn't order any salads during our visit. The fresh-cut fries that my son ordered were delicious. There was a good vibe in this place full of happy workers. By the time the dessert menu came, I was too stuffed to order. I would definitely come back to this place to order the same food again, or maybe try another vegan burger option from their menu even though I can still salivate for another Impossible Burger.
The Burger options are great and if you go there for lunch time. There's a $15 Burger meal that you can add things to bucks, and you can also get a beer for that lunch package. It's I really enjoy coming here. Because the food is cooked very quickly and the seasoned fries are really good for the same price. And The Onion rings are humongous and I like getting The Onion rings here. The milkshakes are also really good and really thick. And it's supposed to be all organic, so check it out.
Sammy G was great, very knowledgeable and accommodating for my gluten free needs! The entire staff was very kind and swift service. Arnold Palmer hit 😮💨🖤
Mohith was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, his recommendations were top-notch and he truly elevated our whole experience. We ordered the smash burgers and had zero regrets. They were flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. We also had the seasoned fries, onion rings, and fried pickles, and everything came out hot, crispy, and delicious. For drinks, we tried the “Holy Water,” the coconut/pineapple margarita, and even a custom drink Mohith made for us that wasn’t on the menu and it was incredible! You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and cares about making sure guests have a great time. The vibe of the place is just as good as the food, great music, very clean, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you again, Mohith, for your amazing suggestions and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!
The food was fresh and made perfectly. All the staff was very kind, friendly and attentive. My only complaint is I paid $2 extra for a lettuce wrap on my burger and it wasn’t truly wrapped, it was just placed on the burger like a regular bun.
Love this neighborhood local spot! Our server Mohith was awesome and very thorough. We’ll be back again soon for the smash burger!
When I stepped in, I was mainly treated by a smiling face, the person looked truly happy to work here. I was seated immediately, after looking over the menu, a person took my order. There’s a large option of vegetarian items as well as interesting animal burgers there is bison, turkey, elk, salmon, lamb. I had the village veggie burger for $12. It was excellent. I had a spicy vegan topping, which was four dollars. Additionally, I had the french fries which were hand cut in season for six hours and a lettuce wrap instead of a bun for an additional two dollars. They have gluten-free options for buns if you want it. The place is very children friendly and I would like to say that 100% of the children were extremely well behaved.
Amazing service! Mohith was an excellent bartender! We had delicious drinks and amazing gluten free dishes! I highly recommend the gluten free chicken tenders and garlic aioli dip! The smash burger was great as well! Don't forget to round it out with gluten free sweet tots! We will be back! Highly recommend!
Angie the bartender was such a joy to spend my lunch with. She was so professional and sweet. A great person to be on your team!! Give that girl a raise . She representes so well!! Oh and Food was great too! A definite return visit is in order !
I travel all over the 5 boroughs to try new food spots. This is honestly one of the best burger spots if not the best burger I’ve had in Brooklyn! If you stop by make sure to ask for Abhi favorite! He has amazing recommendations and is very attentive as well. I’d definitely be coming back here anytime I’m craving a good burger, great atmosphere, and great staff. My only regret is not taking pictures, the food was too enticing when it hit the table😂
Brilliant atmosphere. Extremely attentive staff. Gave us recommendations that were KILLER! would definitely recommend this location for local families in the Brooklyn Area. Mohith and his staff have created a great environment on. Ten tap system at the 5 top bar. Bison burger was PHENOMENAL. My wife’s smash burger was a hit! She finished before me! We will be back as my wife works close by in the medical field.
One of my favorite burger places! The freshest, tastiest burgers — and organic, too! I feel satisfied every time I eat here. And one more thing! They have the sweetest server in the whole city: Mohith! When you’re here, make sure to ask for him — he’ll take great care of you. Burger Village, don’t ever lose this guy! He truly makes the place special.
Mohith was great in explaining the menu and making us feel welcome for our first visit :D the food was great and I super appreciate that he pointed us toward the warmer part of the restaurant when we came in (it was really cold tonight). The portions especially for the salad were more than generous and we loved the burgers. Overall A+ experience!
Food was solid but our bartender mohith was such a vibe! So much contagious enthusiasm and passion in his beer recommendations, made me a special cocktail, and even made me a new one when I didn’t like mine, even though he followed my requests to a T. A+ customer service. This restaurant made a strong decision in hiring him!
I love everything about this place - grass-fed burgers are exquisite, fries, dips, all yummy. Super friendly staff. The 4 stars on atmosphere is for the TVs (which I can’t stand at restaurants).
Had a great experience at Burger Village in Deer Park! My server, Mandi, was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The service overall was fast and smooth, and the food came out quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
The people are pleasant and the service was fast. I think we were served the perfect meal of burgers and fries today. The buns were solid despite the absolutely juicy meat and sauces, and the patties were clearly cooked with care. Medium and medium rare just as we asked. And oh my goodness, the fries and onion rings (frings) were crispier than any other frings I've had in the last few years. To be honest, if you want the full potential of goodness, try out the burgers made with different meats like the elk or bison burgers. If you're a beef lover, you might really enjoy how the difference. I'm tempted to call beef plain with how my elk burger tasted.
My wife found this place, and it was a delightful culinary adventure! Their burgers takes the classic burger experience to a whole new level with exotic and creative offerings. The menu boasts an impressive selection of burgers made with unique meat options. I tried the "Bison burger" which featured a juicy patty paired with "Wild terrific pacific". The combination of flavors was absolutely fantastic and unlike anything I've ever had. My wife ordered "Elk burger" paired with "Petite" and it's was also very yummy! The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who are more than happy to recommend their favorite items. If you're looking to try something new and exciting, this place you should definitely give a try. Their exotic burgers are a must-try, and I can't wait to go back and explore more of their innovative creations.
So I just want to say you have to visit this restaurant or take out. Because the food there is amazing. I have to give a special thanks to Katrina for going above and beyond for me. I must say the loaded fries was awesome I ask for no guacamole but it was given to me however it was very tasty. Chicken tenders were great but think they should be called chicken bites. No shade. The staff is very attentive. The food was great and well seasoned. Only thing the mango habenero chicken could be seasoned more. However very positive vibe and atmosphere and won't leave you disappointed. I shall be back and you try if you havent tried the location in park slope. Again just my opinion as a brooklynnite.
Sleeper. I can’t imagine any of the burgers missing. The entire menu is delicious, and the staff is incredibly hospitable, friendly and patient while explaining the menu. There’s a flat price for each burger and for a few dollars extra you can deck it out with a smattering of predetermined accompanying toppings known as a “signature pair”… recommended. Black bean burger, a home run. Elk burger medium rare, a home run. All beef dog was also a smash hit. All Pattie’s and soups are made in house. Aromatic. High quality salt and pepper grinders on each table. The napkins are four-ply. This place is underrated.
Had take out before, but dined with another couple and our kids just the other day. The place was busy, but well staffed and organized. The waiter was enthusiastic and patient, we had five boys 8-14 ordering as well and it was great. You have a “package” burger or you put one together with what you want. It’s a good casual place for a fun evening with family.
The burgers are very good. Don't order the crispy chicken sandwich though, it is impressively bad
The nuggets were cooked to perfection 🤤not overdone or dry inside , just right ! Whoever the chef was on tonight 8pm-on point! My only request for delivery is to please make the container (maybe close shut with staples or strong tape ) secure , or brown paper bag stapled so there’s more peace of mind that from restaurant to home there was no mishandling of the food..
Our server Aayusha was awesome! She was very helpful in explaining the menu. We will definitely be back for another smash burger.
This place has consistently good burgers and fries. The staff is polite, professional, courtesies, helpful, and informed. Great selection of patties, both vegan and meat, and really good toppings. The brioche bun is really good. Huge portions of fries! And, they wrote the names of the sauces by hand, such a cute touch! The restaurants clean, just remodeled, and nice big windows with lots of natural light. Solidly good experience.
Kids burger is tiny. Turkey burger dry. Sautéed onions on burger barely cooked.
The bison burger and the frings(onion rings and French fries) took a million years to arrive to our table. The onion rings were soggy and the overall taste of everything was underwhelming. I needed to season pretty much everything myself. The burger itself was decent and very filling but the overall experience was lackluster.
I’m writing this review for the Burger Village location because this has become a recurring issue. Every time I place an online order for pickup, there is someone at the front counter with an attitude. Customer service should not feel uncomfortable or dismissive, especially when customers are simply picking up food they’ve already paid for. Yesterday was particularly frustrating. I ordered a root beer float, but when my sister went to pick up the order, she was told they no longer carry it. Instead of proactively issuing a refund, she was asked if I wanted something else. I agreed, and they substituted it with a fountain soda — which is not equivalent in value. The root beer float cost $10.00, and a fountain soda clearly does not. I was told I would receive a phone call from the manager regarding a refund for the price difference. I never received that call. This location really needs to improve communication, professionalism at the front counter, and follow-through on customer concerns. It shouldn’t be this difficult to resolve a simple refund issue.
First… the good news. Our beef burgers were juicy, cooked to the degree we ordered, and plentiful with the meat. The burgers are the tastiest. However…(and now the bad news). The fries tasted like leftovers. Fresh, never frozen fries are supposed to taste fresh and never frozen. Our order was placed and received and eaten during the noon hour, when the kitchen is expected to be “cooking”. (Pardon the humor). And the fries fell flat taste-wise, texture-wise, and temperature-wise. This is the second time we have had this experience,. The previous time I chalked it up to an anomaly; …with a repeat, I don’t know! OMT, the wait staff seemed disorganized. The service was not bad, but it was “so-so”. I actually like Burger Village. And, I want them to thrive. Please get back to your “top notch” kitchen skills and fully attentive service.
We have eaten here before on many occasions without any issues. Today, we ordered 2 burgers and the burgers had brioche buns that seemed like they were past the sell-by date. Onion rings also tasted like they were fried in reused oil.
Too expensive for a burger place. Not happy with the food and the atmosphere. Food for teenagers having an afternoon meeting.
The food is mid for the pricing the charge extra for EVERYTHING, the front desk lady would ask you if she can help you when going to the bathroom which was a bit weird. The wait time is super long for food so if you are hangry don’t come. Over all freezing temperature making you want to immediately leave. Overall wouldn’t recommend or come again.
I would like to start by stating our waitress was great, very nice and attentive so it has nothing to do with service. However, the food was extremely disappointing given the price. The appetizer wings were a bit over salted in my opinion. Our chicken sandwich’s along with drinks felt very mediocre. It wasn’t enough to complain or send food back but seeing the bill and knowing my husband and I didn’t even enjoy or finish our food was pretty bothersome.
I ventured into Burger Village on 3rd and 7th Ave, expecting some real Brooklyn vibes, but man, was I wrong. Those loaded nachos, priced at $11, were a total joke – no protein and tasted like they were straight out of a bag. And get this, if you wanted to add a burger patty, they had the nerve to charge a whopping $7 extra, making the total a ridiculous $18 for stale nachos! Service-wise, it was okay, but let's talk about the prices. Outrageous doesn't even begin to cover it. I ended up forking over $19.34, after adding a 20% tip to the bill. Can you believe it? And for what? Mediocre nachos and a mug of watered down sprite with lime. Burger Village needs a reality check if they think they can get away with gouging prices like that in Brooklyn. They won't last long if they keep this up.
First off, our server was GREAT — kind, professional and fast. No complaints about service! The problem was the food. I asked for my burger medium rare, but it came overcooked. This I can understand, if you’ve got a thin, fast-food-style patty. But this was an inch-and-a-half thick wad of beef, its center as parched, lifeless and gritty as the sands of a desert dune. With a burger patty this thick, no amount of sauces around the thing could penetrate deep enough into its bone-dry center to elevate the experience of eating it to something even merely palatable. This is, in fact, why burgers are consumed medium rare in the first place — to enjoy the moisture it retains when it’s prepared by someone who knows that an enjoyable meal infrequently involves elements that could be mistaken for a dressed charcoal briquette. I arrived hungry — near starvation, as it had literally been close to twenty hours since I’d last eaten. But I still couldn’t finish the last few bites, and had to eat more when I got home. I have had a lot of disappointing $16 hamburgers, but this one wins hands down as the single most disappointing expensive burger I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know how you can ruin beef that thoroughly, but kudos to this restaurant: they have figured out a way.
I just ate here. The restaurant is medium size, yet they only have one waitress working. The manager is there, but he doesn’t help the poor waitress, he just cleans at inappropriate times, including sweeping underneath my table while I was in the middle of eating. Luckily my feet were up on the bench and he didn’t sweep my feet, but it was still weird. While I was waiting for my check, the waitress accidentally overcharged another customer. The manager basically refused to refund the guys money, and the waitress paid the patron out of her own wallet, which is against the law for the business to do. I hope this girl quits. This restaurant needs to be shut down.
This place has gone down in service. I used to always dine in or order out from here for years, since 2017. Unfortunately, recently Service has plummeted. I ordered from Uber eats & the restaurants canceled my order because they were confused & then proceeded to tell me i had to wait 2 business days for a refund, so i couldn’t even reorder. Horrible service. This occurred on 08/13/2025.
Ordered take out twice. The price given to me on the phone was not the same that I was charged. (I was charged more). They conveniently forget to tell you that they charge a delivery fee. I ordered chicken tenders and what I got were chicken nuggets for $10 that were so hard I couldn't eat them.
I have been coming here for several years. At first, I struggled to eat their burgers like burgers are supposed to be eaten ... by picking it up with your hands. They were always a mess. For the past couple of visits, I've had to immediately resort to using a knife, fork, and spoon to eat a burger. Yes, it's that disgusting.
For a restaurant that prides itself on food quality—grass-fed, antibiotic-free, organic—they need to get back to basics when it comes to food handling and customer service. I’ve been a longtime customer of Burger Village across multiple locations, but after today’s experience, I will never return or recommend this place again. While my family and I usually dine in, today was our first time ordering takeout—and it will be our last. On my second bite, I found a piece of dark hair in my burger. Disgusted, I immediately spit it out, and my husband and son refused to eat theirs. To make matters worse, the fries were burnt and inedible. I called to speak with a manager, and at first, the district manager was helpful and willing to issue a refund. However, shortly after, the store manager called me, accused me of lying, and berated me like a child. At that point, I told him to forget the refund. In all my years, I’ve never had to call a restaurant to complain, and I certainly wouldn’t have if this weren’t warranted. Instead, they’ve lost a loyal customer. As a business owner myself, I would never treat a customer this way. It’s shameful, and if this location continues down this path—with declining food quality and outright hostility toward customers, there will be plenty of more negative reviews like mine. UPDATE -- After I posted my review, the restaurant responded, saying they were sorry they "missed the mark" and asking me to reach out directly. I assume this is just their way of pretending to take responsibility while trying to shift focus away from an honest negative review. First of all, why would I reach out to the same place where I was already berated and disrespected? If you don’t know how to treat your loyal customers right the first time, that’s on your company. The location where I had this horrific experience was the Park Slope location. The manager there is highly disrespectful and clearly doesn’t care about his patrons.
Ordered DoorDash from this place - wanted a turkey burger no bun, so they made me shell out an extra $2.40 for a couple pieces of romaine with the burger ($18.40 now) - you’d figure a burger at that price point would come with fries or salad right? Nope - side salad was a whopping $8.40 and it’s the most pitiful, limp little thing I’ve ever seen. Turkey burger was dry and tasteless. Complete and total ripoff - thank god I had a credit because if I’d paid $40+ for this order it would have been one of the worst food delivery experiences of all time. Look at this salad!! $8.40 with the burger? Kidding me???!!
Food arrived over an hour late and was ice cold. I just called the restaurant and they told me "it's cold outside so that's why the food is cold." Refused to apologize or compensate us. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Update: Restaurant called me back, and gave a half-baked apology and then tried to say there's nothing they can do. Making the situation much worse. -5 star service!
