They came to Vegandale festival in Miami Florida !!! I’ve been wanting to taste African food, gave their vegan cuisine a try and it was amazing!! There was a variety of different dishes…. And!!! They gave the MOST food for the that price !!! When I go to NY I’m definitely going to see them again
Haven't had jollof rice in years and this closely resembles the one that my Nigerian friend's mom used to make! Not as spicy as I would like, but will definitely order again.
Great food and service. This food truck was parked in front of the Nigerian Consulate building on 44th/2nd Avenue. The rice tasted really good.
Got chicken and rice, it was really flavorful and not messy. It was maybe $6 on the too good to go app, so good deal. The picture that I posted is of oxtail I think, also looked pretty good.

Divine flavored catered our wedding and the food + service was fantastic! I’ve been going to Divine for years and the excellent quality of the food has not changed, which is why I knew I had to have them cater my wedding. There were no issues with delivery of the food—everything arrived on time—and they worked very well with the other food caterer at the wedding. My friends still talk about the Suya they served during the cocktail hour to this day and my family in Nigeria would not stop raving about how delicious everything was. I should also add that my wife and some of her side of the family are vegan/vegetarian and Divine was able to accommodate them so they could have a taste of our lovely Naija cuisine! Consider them for your next event !
Wow, I am absolutely blown away by the service and attention to detail. And the food is absolutely delicious. Divine catered a party for me recently and executed seamlessly. They even delivered the food on time. I would absolutely recommend and they have a customer in me for life.
I have used Divine Flavored Catering for many years now and I must say that each experience has been a great and satisfying one. The food taste so good and my party guests always ask me where I catered my food from, and also complement the quality of the food. The service is also very good. Thinking back, if I ever had any issues with the service provided, management always went above and beyond to fix the issue promptly and even compensate for any inconvenience experienced. This is what business is all about, always keeping your customers happy. I truly believe that Divine Flavored Catering’s African food and service is #1 in the USA.
Divine Flavored catered our wedding in July at Leonard's Palazzo in New York and they did an absolutely fantastic job! The presentation, wide array and quality of the food was impeccable. Nigerian food is unique and it's not very easy to find authentic (and flavorful) options in New York, but Divine exceeded our expectations. The food tasted great and all of our guests (both local and first-timers) enjoyed it very much. It was a key part of the success of our wedding day and we highly recommend Divine for all your catering needs!!
The chicken egusi here is one of the best takeout meals I’ve ever had. Could not recommend this dish more, and have to thank this restaurant for introducing me to it. Will be back and highly recommend their varied menu, plenty of options for everyone.
One of the best Nigerian food take out spot in NYC. I've used their catering service as well as ordered off Door dash and Uber Eats. They are very professional and things usually work out well. I 100% recommend. Out of the 15+ times I've used them, I've only been disappointed perhaps once or twice (i.e. when I had to wait an additional hour to pick up my catering), which isn't a bad record for a restaurant. Their food quality is consistent. I love how they wrap their food in aluminum foil, which ensures that it is warm when it gets to you.
I've used Divine Flavored for over 15 years to cater entrees and appetizers for my wedding, an introduction, birthday parties and more. They are professional and reliable and the food is always delicious. I continue to recommend Divine to my friends and family as the best Nigeria caterer in the northeast region.
I have been ordering from Divine Flavored for over 10 years! The food is solid quality - my favorite dish is their moi moi, we also like their jollof rice, assorted beef and soups, definitely check out the entire menu…and the service is personable. You can’t go wrong with Divine Flavored.
This is one of the best and most affordable places you can get true African food. It's not the best for dine-in. I think they major in take aways and food truck. The owner and workers are very respectful and satisfaction is guaranteed .
We used this caterer for a graduation party of about 200 guest. They gave us outstanding customer service. There were so many back and forth and last minute changes but they remained very professional and helpful. We confirmed the menu literally a day before the event and they still had everything ready on time and the food was fresh. The food was AMAZING. The salmon was delicious, the jellof rice and fried rice were on point, the Nigerian salad was tasty. Our guest kept complimenting on the food and had a lot to take home!

The portion sizes are disappointingly small for 34$. There was more pounded yam than there was meat and I asked for the mixed meat. For that I got 3 cow feet without bones and 3-4 quarter coin sized pieces of tripe and two dry small chunks of goat meat. There was also barely any Egusi. When I order from places like Festac NYC I get a full bowl of Eguasi with lots of juice and that is 6.00 then I can get mix meat for 12.00 and when I get my bowl of mixed meat it is full with a LARGE slab of tripe the size of my palm, cow foot, bone included, pieces of fish and 1 chunk of goat. Also a large helping of pounded yam. The takeout package that Divine catering has reminds me of a rather small school lunch. The pros is that you can change your spicy level though, which is nice. The cow foot had a good texture and the tripe was tender and easy to chew. There was an off smell though, different than what I am accustomed to when eating Egusi.

I was so excited to see thats there's a african restaurant near by, however as am on DD. I realized the Egusi cost is $23 and it doesn't have MEAT AND ITS $27? TO ADD MEAT? also the Pounded Yam is $5.99? how? This is wickedness and greed, There are other AFRICAN RESTAURANT thats offer the same food for less. Im not ordering Catering so why is it so expensive? Please explain to me. Disappointed customer.

Ordered on grubhub, rated it 3 stars before getting all the way through. Jollof was not good, reviewed that as I had already tasted a bit of efo and it was decent enough. I close the app and continue to finish my meal. Midway through the efo riro it got very bitter all of a sudden. I really can't finish it. I know I can't get the rest of my money back, and I don't have any lunch but just don't want anyone else making a similar expensive mistake. I got efo riro and casava Jollof with the beef suya and plaintain. Efo was bland Jollof and plantains tasted lukewarm, poorly reheated, and day old Suya was cold, too salty and did not come with sauce The jollof rice was also very small for it's price, $18 for such a small portion. This was over $50, and I want to enjoy the food I buy. Edit : I keep going back to try the food to see if I was too harsh but it just keeps on getting worse. Leaves a really bad bitter taste in my mouth.
I wish there was a zero star that would have been the best in this situation. I was at the Nigerian embassy in New York and saw this guy in the food truck. I decided to order Jollof rice and chicken, the guy who attended to me played on my intelligence knowing fully well I was in a hurry to catch my ride. He gave me a box of food that has already gone bad, something you can’t even feed to a dog. I got to the airport and couldn’t even eat the food but trash it immediately because it’s really bad. You guys can do better please. I have a picture of the food here. The chicken is so burnt and it isn’t fresh either.

Everyone that step in your store will definitely want to leave quickly due to so many reasons and you still brag about having so many food leftover. Having a lot of Foods leftover is a sign that you need to improve and do better. Feed your workers and help people around you first. you walked a bit far distance to ask for A dollar balance and yet claimed that you are doing well whereas you aren't doing well even to people around you.Foods served from inside and not from small buffet. Disregard foods photos on their website because the foods inside the restaurant are opposite . As an African. This is not African soups for fufu that i know. The fufu here is for those who don't know anything about African food. Real Africans don't go there and that's why it is always empty. The owner is always right and not the customers, very greedy ,very selfish and too arrogant and don't care about customer's feelings, no fresh soup and he keeps soups inside and still call it buffet restaurant. lack good manners.People who have visited Africa will not come here for the second time to buy fufu.customers are required to pay first before seeing what they are buying for which is totally prohibited in all the African countries and is not complete buffet restaurant because some of the soups are kept inside and you have to wait atleast 20 minutes for them to prepare it. This review is to help the owner to do well in his business and to let him know that these are the reasons why people don't come to patronize him. Worst service experience at this location. Customers are not treated well here. 2 smaller size of pounded yam and no boneless chicken or no boneless beef soup of any choice is cost atleast 29 to 30 dollars and not what is in the menu meaning that this the most expensive African restaurant in NYC and yet with poor taste, food and poor service and also being very aggressive, rude and disrespectful. the owner of this restaurant shouldn't ask why Africans including Nigerians don't come to patronize him. You can't cut in green and red pepper , carrots with onions in ogbono soup. If you can't hire a cooker to cook for you. Atleast know how to talk to customers and stop denying customers their rights to ask you questions about your food that they want to buy.
I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. The food simply did not taste good. The rice was overcooked and burnt, leaving a bitter aftertaste. What added to my disappointment was the portion size, which was incredibly small for the amount I spent. I expected a more satisfying experience for the price, but unfortunately, this meal fell far short of my expectations. 10 out 10 I will not eating here again and will not recommend to anyone.
