Food was freshly made. Octopus salad was delicious. Nice atmosphere.
I usually order for delivery but the food is always fresh and flavorful. The beef empanadas with plantain and cheese are my absolute favorite and the green sauce tastes great on everything!

Delicious!!! Came for brunch- Pozole, tortilla soup, chilaquiles, chorizo empanada, and breakfast burrito were all phenomenal.

Outstanding food. Guacamole comes with sauces too which are delicious and housemade. The fish tacos are fresh and tasty. Margaritas excellent. Worth the stroll to South Slope. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I have been here three times. Dinner is great but their brunch is what takes the cake. Way worth it and reasonably priced. Service is amazing.
It was our first time here and came highly recommended by friends. Stopped in for lunch. Sat outside at El Nopal. I had two of the Passionfruit Mezcalitas with the Tajin rim that were delicious. We all had the plantain chips and guacamole. I ordered the Steak Quesadillas that were delicious and browned nicely on the outside. The portion filled me up for a lunch. Service was great, attentive and quick. Would definitely come back.
We always order in and finally had the chance to dine in. The tacos are delicious! We had chorizo, pastor and steak if they were delicious delivering home, having them there it was a different experience they were on point! Michelada was super good totally recommending that! The staff was friendly! I’m coming back!

El nopal is a mixed bag of good. First and foremost the food is good. Surprisingly it’s hard to find good Mexican in park slope for $10-15, and el nopal does that well. The inside is interesting tho, not in a bad way but a little dated. Service is fine. Actual tables and chairs could be a bit better. But food is solid. Location is fine if you’re in walking distance
Great taco/burrito joint. So glad we stumbled into this place. Such good food for a bargain! I ordered the ranchero burrito and my lady ordered the chicken burrito bowl. Plenty of food...for my girlfriend. I loved my burrito so much I ate all of it....almost took a bite of her hand when she tried to take some... Bottomline, come try this place.
Drinks are strong, food seems Fresh and portions solid but missing flavor! They have a good happy hour and two cute outdoor tables.
