The woman here is super nice and helpful. The food is always good, and they even have options for vegans. They are my go to place, even though there are three places closer. Highly recommended.

I use to live in New York and eat at this place all the time. They are like family, always pleasant people. When my mom passed away they looked out for us. Everytime my family come to New York we have to eat here at least onces.

Honestly, the lady is soooo nice. Always says “I appreciate you”. Food is bomb and fast. Delivery peeps are dope too. Very NYC energy that we need.

Prices alright. Place is clean. Never cheap with the ducksauce. And thus far yummy food with fruit treats like watermelon or pineapple free with tour meal.

I’m vegan & it’s hard finding authentic Chinese food without fish sauce & a ton on egg products! I called so many places & they didn’t understand me or knew what I was talking about. She took her time, she knew about the food, she was knowledgeable on vegan/vegetarian food, & pointed out some amazing tasty dishes & it still had authentic NYC Chinese! Just recently started working in this neighborhood and decided to give this place a try as my go-to place for Chinese food. Placed the order ahead and upon arrival I found out that they got my order mixed up a little. However, the lady out front fixed it in the jiffy. She was polite and very helpful. Pork lo mein is delicious and full of flavor!!! This is now definitely a go-to place for lunch

From the outside the place looked a bit sus, but we went ahead and ordered takeout. We weren't disappointed and came back the next night. I wouldn't say the food is exceptional, but it is fresh, well made, tasty and reasonable - which is why you takeout Chinese food in the first place, right? The lady at the counter was friendly and the menu is quite exhaustive. I preferred the General Tsao chicken over the Kung Pao. Don't judge this book by its cover.......

The service here is amazing. The staff are so kind and thoughtful. When I'm having a horrible day, the staff always tend to make me smile when I leave. If you want good quality food and excellent service, then I 100% recommend this restaurant.

I've ordered from Hong Kong cafe on several occasions, and every time it has been a pleasure. The food is tasty (for American Chinese take out), the staff is super friendly which is very refreshing, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend to anyone in the area in search of a good neighborhood Chinese spot!

The lady at the counter, (multicolored streaks in her hair) is VERY friendly and accommodating. We have not been disappointed thus far with service and food. Delivery is fast too.

One of the best kept secrets, 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' restaurants in Brooklyn! The pork spare ribs are Magnificent and I always enjoy the egg rolls. No dining in, just grab & go.

Great classic NYC Chinese food. Chicken wings were extra crispy upon request, great spare rib tips and the mei fun and pork fried rice were light and not greasy. Veggies and broccoli were still crisp and not over cooked.

Unfortunately, pretty disappointing. The Mongolian beef was very good, but the fried dumplings didn’t travel well and the kung pao chicken was almost unrecognizable. We’re going to stick to our regular neighborhood place from now on.

They really skimped on my meal. Most places, or at least some, would have the courtesy to add more rice if they’re cutting back on the meat, but this place barely gave me any rice, meat, or vegetables.
