This is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant. They only buy from here and I understand why. The food is good and worth the price.(Not a place to sit and eat though) I’m vegetarian and they have General Tso’s tofu, which is very rare at Chinese restaurants, actually I’ve only seen it here. I usually get it with vegetable lo mein instead of rice but for 10 that is amazing and it comes with a lot of food. You can’t just trust any Chinese restaurant but here you can trust them.

Had issues placing a delivery order on GrubHub (at the fault of GH's computer UI) and the owner went above and beyond to make sure that I received my delivery order, despite the persistent issue! It was very kind and I can tell that they care. After only having placed one order from Hong Kong Cafe before this experience: I can now say they have a loyal customer out of me, not to mention their food is always delicious!

I had the vegetable fried rice and spring rolls. The food was exceptionally fresh and very delicious. The young lady and gentleman were amiable and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this establishment. Please do not let the exterior appearance deter you from trying their delicious food.

I had their Lunch Special Boneless Spareribs tips with pork fried rice. I loved it! I’ll definitely go back to try other lunch specials. The fried rice was delicious but not greasy. The boneless spareribs tips were perfection, not too greasy but very flavorful. I called my order in and picked it up in 10 minutes. This is also one of the only A rated Chinese restaurants in this area so I’m beyond impressed by the food and quality.

Hong Kong Cafe is a wonderfully run family business with great vibes for the community. They have never missed with the food! Everyone is really friendly and feel like a part of the neighborhood. Take-out only so dont expect to dine in. 11/10 spot

great food, great value, the lady is the nicest person ever, absolute staple neighborhood spot, i basically tell all my friends about this place. the go-to for chinese takeout that has solid veggies, ample meat, and fast and friendly service. anytime im feeling down i order the singaporean rice noodle, that dish is incredible.

Man this place is a gem. The staff are genuinely super nice and friendly on top of that the food is always top tier! I never have any complaints whatsoever whether I go there in person or order via app or over the phone! If I can give 100 stars I would! Just wishes the place was a bit bigger and had somewhere the customers can sit and eat. Other than that I would definitely 1000% recommend

Best NYC Chinese takeout in the area. I usually call ahead and pick up. The woman typically working is always so sweet and kind. She works hard! The food is flavorful and hits the Chinese takeout craving.

Got takeout for dinner. I had veggie fried rice, a spring roll and vegetable rice noodles (Mei fun) which all had nice flavor.

The people that work there are SO incredibly friendly! The food was hit and miss. The string beans with garlic sauce were the best dish we had. The general Taos was also pretty good. I won’t be ordering the cheese wontons or egg roll again. Also the sweet and sour wasn’t very good.

I have attempted to order through Seamless twice. Both times, I had to cancel after nothing came after an hour. The store called me after canceling to ask if I would re-order, but after an hour, I chose not to. I would recommend removing yourself from the platform if you can not fufull orders.

Unfortunately, pretty disappointing. The Mongolian beef was very good, but the fried dumplings didn’t travel well and the kung pao chicken was almost unrecognizable. We’re going to stick to our regular neighborhood place from now on.

I have attempted to order through Seamless twice. Both times, I had to cancel after nothing came after an hour. The store called me after canceling to ask if I would re-order, but after an hour, I chose not to. I would recommend removing yourself from the platform if you can not fufull orders.

Food can be good But have been waiting almost two hours. Said weather is bad and is not even snowing. As much food is good waiting for delivery is too long.
