Everyone I called required 3 days notice for orders. This restaurant can handle last minute orders, not same day. I called the night before and they showed out! Best $100 spent. Queens tried charging me $150 for one tray and it feeds 10 people there’s fed 35. The competitors charge more and feed less as well. Everyone complimented the chicken. So lucky to have found them. I had Uber pick it up and they ran it out. Absolutely recommend!

I am vegan and happy to see that there are a decent amount of options for me to eat here. The food is always delicious, the workers friendly, and the establishment clean and consistent. I also had them cater for a party of 80 people and got nothing but good feedback from my crowd! Happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood.

New favorite place!!! I've been searching all over to find a place with collard greens as good as my grandmother's. I finally found it! I was a bit hesitant seeing how I've been disappointed in the past but their collard greens were absolute perfection! All of their food was amazing. I also had the jerk chicken which was perfectly seasoned and so tender it came right off the bone. With that I threw in some spinach rice, curry potatoes, and mac cheese. They had a great selection of food and every single dish was delicious. I love that they have a buffet style set up so you can try a little bit of everything. After all the food I got I was surprised that my total only came to $8.90! Definitely a new neighborhood treasure! Great prices and REAL home cooked soul food just like grandma use to make.

I got the bbq chicken Mac and cheese turkey wing and greens red rice. Love the rice the greens the rest guys was over whelming gave it a 2 because of taste.

Food is delicious but can get pricey if u load your tray up. They charge by the pound and it is 8 bucks a pound....not cheap. Atmosphere is simple...nothing fancy. It is quiet and clean though and that is what counts.Man at register was nice.

Overall, really good food. Especially enjoyed the cabbage and collard greens. Mac and cheese was good also. I like that you are asked to wear gloves before fixing your plate. The one point I will take away is in regards to the sweet potatoes. IMO, they weren't sweet enough and cut way too thick. It was too the point where they were not thoroughly cooked all the way through. I know they charge by weight but it is totally unnecessary to slice them so big. I would definitely come again if in the area but was disappointed in the sweet potatoes.

First of all I don’t care what you say I did not get 2 pounds of food. I don’t know why I’m paying $16 for this very small plate of food in my opinion so I hope the food is good. But I’m not happy with Jacking up prices.

The food looked very dry! I asked the employee if they had yams. She told me yes. She showed me 3 in the pan. I asked her if she was going to bring out more? She looked at me and said take that and walked away. The salmon was hard. I immediately walked out. Maybe that’s why it was empty. I would not recommend this place 👎👎

I ordered turkey, wings, string beans and okra. That’s the smallest turkey wing I ever seen in my life and it wasn’t fresh and the turkey was so bruised up. also the okra was so undercooked. I couldn’t even chew it. Highly disappointed
