Had not been to KFC in a long time. Great tasting original (box to go). Three sides and biscuits. Really enjoyed the chicken.

We got our food immediately the food here is delicious the tenders are a little bit like soggyish but the workers are very nice and it's a very pretty place I really do enjoy dining here and you can ask them to make your food straight up and they'll make it in minutes.

Food is always fresh! There is an employee there who mainly works the cashier and she is really nice and always gets our order done correctly everytime. Dining area is always clean and so are the restrooms! Excellent KFC

The service was fast. The order was correct. The food was hot and fresh. There is another KFC closer to our house, but we will go out of the way to come to the one on Boca Chica. The chicken is always so much better. My only complaint would be that the drink station was sticky, some of the tables were dirty and the floors needed to be swept under a few tables.

I came in today with my mom, and dad for a nice meal, and had the pleasure to order with Ms Anna she took my order with a smile, and was kind to ask us if we needed anything else. She got my order 100% correct, and checked up on us in a nice and timely manner. She makes me want to come back for the good food, and service.

This KFC (off Boca Chica in Brownsville) is a lot better than the Brownsville location off Alton Gloor. The staff is nice and actually helpful. The food tasted fresh and not reheated. This KFC had a variety of package meals available 😋. Watch out with their spicy bowls. Excellent combination in the bowl but they aren't kidding. Spicy bowls are made for picante experts. I couldn't handle it.

I order a four piece chicken original with 4 biscuits mash potatoes and coleslaw and ice tea they gave me no.coleslaw and the mash potatoes were really bad tasting and no ice tea.

I have never ever eaten at KFC because as a child I ate chicken from this KFC on Boca Chica and I got sick. Once a restaurants' food gets me sick, i never go back. So, for decades i never ate KFC. Then I became a vegetarian. So, imagine my joy at finding that there was now a Vegan nugget available from a fast food restaurant. I did my research and its trustworthy as vegan and it tastes pretty good with the sauce. HOWEVER, the service has been disappointing these 4 times I have visited this specific establishment. They NEVER offer me the sauce. I have to remember to ask for it. Taco Bell always offers and asks. I assumed all places did that. Today, I went to order the 6 pc with my mom so she could try them out for herself and when we got home, we were very surprised to find that it didn't come with fries. Okay. So i didn't specify the meal, but neither did they ask me if i wanted a meal. I feel a bit let down that they don't offer and ask because as a new customer I just assumed they would offer or that the meal is implied unless i correct them. Even McDonalds asks if you want the meal. All places ask! So why not KFC? For this reason, i take away 2 stars. I had ONLY 6 piece vegan nuggets. No fries.

The ceiling had mold and the tables and seats weren't clean, the windows were dirty but they were quick on food, i honestly would only order the food thru drive thru or pick up the food but i wouldn't dine in anymore

i love this place but today is another story. the chicken breast was old because the color was really dark and the biscuit was hard and the tea was super sweet. but the cashier was super nice, she helped with my tea and she put up with me. even my mom noticed the quality was not up to par and was blaming the cashier, and i had to explain to her that quality is the sole responsibility of the cook and the person in charge.

Service was slow the lobby was not maintained soda fountain was a mess no paper products in either bathrooms (also stink very badly).

It's KFC. Portions keep getting smaller and prices get bigger. Chicken sandwich is half the meat now. Chicken tenders were small.

Lunch rush at 12pm and only one register open. Line out the door - half our to counter. Once there, staff was rude. Bad experience overall.

Grill chicken was super dry like it was sitting on the oven for too long. Dining area was dirty napkins,forks and crumbs. Order was not complete.

After a long day at work. Picked up a breast meal to go. Got home and it was a thigh. The breading seemed to have been under the heat lamp or something for a very long time. The biscuit was hard and the fries seemed old. This is the first time I have a bad experience at KFC. Had to eat it since I was hungry and tired. Didn't want to go get something else. The Pepsi was good at least. The service good as well.

The floor is so dirty you stick to it. There is water dripping from the ceiling and the ceiling tiles are all full of mold! Management is zero friendly and courteous.

I called to just get a price on a stand alone side (Lg Coleslaw) and kept getting the price to upgrade a side in a combo. She ended up giving me a slight attitude but whatever, I got the info I was looking for. I drive up there and get the side I ordered and a wing and wedges combo. Wait time for the food was 10 minutes as they had me pull up to wait for the food. When the food finally got to the car I was shocked at how tint the wing have gotten... THIS is crazy.... see attached photo. My coleslaw was good though. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I ordered the wings that are 8 for $4.99 The wings had been sitting there for quite some time. There should be a time limit as to when the food should not be sold anymore. The wings were dried. Hopefully management can pay attention to food sitting for too long and being sold to customers. I've had the wings from here before and they were good but because I requested them to be freshly made.

Came here for my lunch hour and waited 30 mins to get my lunch and the food wasnt even hot and they were short handed and messed up my food, never coming here again

Passed by drive thru 10 mn before closing and they told me I could not order because they had already counted the boxes.

Ordered a pick up. Asked if food was ready. Told me to wait. Food was not ready. Had to wait 25 minutes for a pick up.

Bathroom was really gross and I waited 20 minutes for them to tell me that they ran out of chicken. Got a refund and went to tropical smoothie.

After 30 min of placing an online order, they tell me I need to wait another 20 because they don't have chicken prepared. Second time this happens. Bad customer service and cook sneezing on the food.

Came here to the kfc on boca Chica Blvd. Because my daughter's wanted kfc and when we go to order I asked for a 12 pc crispy all dark they say they dont have it but they could do half crispy half original. Then they tell me they don't have enough to cover a 12 PC and it would take 35-40 minutes. Never have I been to a chicken establishment that doesn't have enough chicken to cover a 12 PC family meal. Come on kfc your in the chicken business this type of thing should not be happening.

Came to the drive through and tried ordering chicken. There was a 30 mins await, the family was fine waiting because I’m pregnant and really craving it. After we waited the 30 mins in the parking lot we went back in line to be told it was going to be AN OTHER 15 mins and they only had dark meat. Although I understand it’s not the employees fault they don’t have certain things available, communication with the customer should be clear and they shouldn’t just give a time if not everything is available. Very unfortunate experience. Heading to the other one across town to hopefully have better luck.

Rude service, ordered a family of 4 dinner noticed on the receipt that the server made it a 2 piece dinner tried to get his attention but he walked off attempted to get someone else's attention but was ignored 3 times. The “men” who work here just suck. They’re so rude a simple question about a jalapeño had this guy telling me very rudely that “it’s not free!” First off I know they’re not free no one asked if they were free. I asked if they had any and if my sandwich came with one. Really hope something gets done because I love the chicken here but definitely not worth dealing with these people. I'm not sure how this place is rated 4.2 stars when the customer service is terrible. I waited over 35min after receiving the first part of my order to receive my wings and fries. When I politely brought this to the attention of the cashier and manager standing next to her they told me it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. I reiterated that they had said 5 minutes 20 minutes ago. The workers then proceeded to snarkly reply and roll her eyes at me. I was not being rude to them yet their behavior towards me was so poor. Terrible!

I don’t know what happened at KFC but the chicken tenders are a crime now. They used to be massive, crunchy, and actually worth eating. Now they look like limp little chunks of poop that someone left out in the sun too long. The breading barely clings on like it’s ashamed to be there. And the mashed potatoes? Honestly, they looked like something stolen straight out of an ancient Roman banquet, probably served cold to some emperor’s dog. The texture was prehistoric. I think I saw Pompeii in there. KFC really pulled off the impossible. They turned one of the best fast food items into something that feels like punishment. The only thing that worked was the soda machine, which is about as impressive as saying my chair didn’t collapse while I ate. One star. And that’s me being generous because technically it was food.

There is something fishy at this location. I have ordered specifically white meat (2 visits within a year) that I ordered only to be given legs and thighs. I bought a bucket and no joke, it was 4 legs and 4 thighs when I asked for mixed. And the orders are customized, so everything else is right, just not that, which is very odd, very scammy to me, like if people dont notice. There is no redemption for this place as the service and food quality is consistently bad each time. My mistake was still reading the reviews and still going as it's very close but nah, I'd rather drive to the Alton gloor location which is much better in terms of food quality and service. This last visit was terrible as well, scammed again out of white meat and served those nasty fried burnt nuggets. Highly do not recommend until management has changed.

First of all the service sucks employees are rude & the food use to be good now the original chicken looks like if it was crispy & the chicken has no taste & it’s all burn. It's a crying shame how this place used to be good the management here is horrible we have a tendency me and my family to order chicken fresh we like the taste of freshly Hot Chicken unfortunately for us the manager refused to do that for us and said that the food was already fresh and made the food was cold and the sauce packets that I asked for were expired and tasted horrible coleslaw tastes like chemicals and the mashed potatoes and gravy was just horrible this was last year and I have never come back I just can't believe that this place used to be good it ruined KFC for me management needs to change and they really need to prep their food better

I'm very disappointed because I Picked up through the drive through chicken tender and they are awful. They don't even looked crispy they look naked. This was on Brownsville Texas on Boca Chica .I find it unfair when they do charge a lot for the 16 PC combo. Didn't wanted to let them know since my 13 year old told me "Don't say anything mom because they will give you something else and maybe they spit on it " Which made me rethink and since I was in a hurry to a doctor's appointment I couldn't go back and ask for my money.Besides I will just not go again but I fell disappointed because I really used to enjoy eating there month's ago.

2/23/22 9 pm. As soon as I placed my order, like 7 mts later, my Doordash delivery person calls me and tells me that KFC is asking if I prefer crispy chicken instead of the original because it was gonna take time to cook. It was obvious they didnt want to make more chicken. My kids wanted original chicken since we hadnt had kfc for more than 5 years. Chicken looked gross. The original breading that we craved looked disgusting, sloppy. Biscuits were cold and dry. NEVER again!
