Cute local gay bar we decided to visit the past few nights while in town from Texas. Not many reviews or photos so decided to add a bit here. First night bartenders were fine, tonight's bartender leaves something to be desired in regards to manners so maybe something to be desired there like the other reviews say. The space looks really fantastic inside, great design and love all the LGBT references. The acoustics are a bit harsh and it gets very loud with just a few people, but it's a bar so what do you expect?
I come here often to watch the bills games. I enjoy the atmosphere of the 26 and they have the best bartenders you could ask for. I would highly recommend this place. They also offer alcohol free drinks which is great for anyone who doesn't drink. I got an alcohol free cranberry lemon drink is excellent.
I love the atmosphere here! It’s so chill! it’s just a one visit from Seattle! cool!

Phenomenal place filled with amazing people, it feels like a family there, a big weird, all over the place family, in the best possible way. A safe place for any queen person to be (providing they are 21+, it IS a bar) also they make great drinks, very well trained staff
Great drinks, great atmosphere, great staff, great clientele — we stopped in here for a drink while visiting the area and had such a wonderful time. Everyone there — staff and patrons alike — was so friendly and fun. The music was fabulous, too. Play the picture game at the bar — hilarious! Thanks for letting some cishet folks have such a fantastic evening. 💜
The best queer bar in Buffalo! I’ve met some of my best friends here. I like that there’s usually a good mix of a crowd, you won’t ever be lonely. They often have great DJs spinning a wide range of tracks. You can dance and then escape to the patio during the summer for a smoke break and good banter. Themed nights are always fun! We need more spaces like 26 in Buffalo.
We often head here for trivia or other special events! Great little bar that always has something going on!
It's been a minute since Buffalo has had a proper gay bar establishment, but Twentysix Allen is it! The bartenders are prompt and attentive, and the drinks are strong. The music is on point and brings me back to the days of the 2000s and 2010s, with newer stuff mixed in. The perfect balance! 👏👏👏
As a straight female, I’ve never felt nothing but respect and love from all the bartenders. I used to go here before it was remodeled and enjoyed it. Now that it has gotten a face lift and amazing owners, I knew it was destined for greatness. I’ll never forget walking in there for the first time after they remodeled… the bathrooms had to be my favorite part. As a supporter of LGBTQIA+ I love the fact that it is a gender neutral space that has privacy if that is what you prefer. This place has given the community an area to let loose and be yourself no matter what. I highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t.

Great neighborhood bar in Allentown welcoming to all who are kind to one another. Full service bar with bagged chips for food and sometimes hot pizza

A very busy spot. Popped in here after a lacrosse game at the Key Bank Centre. Very busy spot atmosphere was great. We arrived a bit late in the night and the place was already packed (not bad, just a very popular place). Most drinks were well priced. Merch for sale (shirts, sweater, hats, torques). Definitely going to back here.
A Fabulous place for drinks and community. Safe, fun, good music and awesome bartenders who Care.

Lively place where everyone is welcome. The only food choice is pizza which is in one of thoes 4 layer pizza towers, so it's ready all the time , no waiting. Great bar service, it was karaoke night, there are 3 dart boards and a pool table. kind of loud inside. there is an outside patio area on the side of the building.
Cute place. Drinks were okay, nothing fancy. The dance floor was alright, bathrooms were well kept. Interesting crowd. Bartenders are very nice

This was a nice bar. It was pretty crowded not much room to move around. I do wish they had tables/chairs to sit we stood the entire time. Besides that the bar tender and people were nice.
My friends and I are regulars at 26, we love the community, the bartenders, the energy. The loyalty is REAL. I had friends come from out of town, showing them naturally our favorite late night spot. It was their first time there & I felt horrible they had an uncomfortable experience. While waiting for the bathroom (not realizing there was a new sign), the bouncer with short pink hair yelled at them to GET OUT. She continued to watch them and made more aggressive moves throughout the night, making them feel so unwelcome they left early.. I couldn’t even believe it! I’ve heard similar stories about this bouncer before, and it really doesn’t reflect the spirit 26 is known for. I write this with Love for 26. I understand the new sign is a technical legality, but how it’s being addressed/ handled isn’t good for anybody involved.
Liked the service, better than the other gay bars here. The place is a bit loud. But I only go on weekends if in town. May be quieter other times. I do have one gripe tho. I'm a big dude. So I come out on weekends to watch and drink and have fun usually alone. But yesterday I was out here and there was a girl patron screaming at another person across the street while he was walking away and she was in the middle of the street doing this! Then was mocking his weight to another person by a car in front. I'm not a fan of that and it was uncomfortable. I come here for the vibe that we're all loved, I'm harmless and a big guy, I know my place. But that hurt me and it wasn't even about me. Please control you patrons more. I'm sorry for the essay, I usually don't even write a review past a few words or just a rating. But this is one of the only fun places here since Marcella's is closed and UG is 🤮.

New in town visiting for my birthday. Walking in the place looks great, but I sat at the bar for 15-20 minutes and there wasn't a bartender around anywhere. So I left.

I don’t usually write reviews but I love this bar, this has been the only bar I really enjoy and feel safe in. But my experience with the bigger female bouncer I think her name was Michelle, was extremely uncomfortable, me and my friend were in line smoking, as we were putting my lighter back in my bag she got upset and accused us of being sneaky and didn’t let us in. We were super confused, called our uber to go somewhere else and she told Us to get off the street. I’m super confused I used to live going here but i would not go back after this situation. Bouncer was on a complete power trip, it’s a same because the rest of the staff is SOOO sweet, the other bouncer literally said he didn’t know what her problem was.
I usually love going here, but they hired a new bouncer (Michelle) who seems obsessed with me…she literally follows me around the bar and watches me until she thinks I do something wrong. The last time I went she didn’t kick me out but followed me the whole time. My friends even noticed. Last night I was kicked out because a guy put his foot out and accidentally tripped me causing me to fall. I had a beer in my hand and didn’t spill a drop, but was told I was drunk and had to leave. I’ve never been kicked out of any bar before this.
Maybe because it’s a gay bar they promote “openness” when it comes to the bathroom situation. No one wants to see a guy openly going to the bathroom. There are NO DOORS for the males. It’s literally an open space with urinals. It’s gross and disturbing. I was so awkward waiting to use the bathroom WITH A DOOR and there was a guy using the urinal next to me. I had to face the wall as I was waiting. Is there just no more privacy anymore???
Did not see a sign that said “ one at a time” called them, explaining to the bar bouncer that I left my bag…in the bathroom. After being abruptly kicked out from the bar. They rudely said I needed to come back tomorrow to look for my bag. My whole life was in that bag and they did not care. They were mad because I brought more than one person into that room to help me pee during an emergency…
Visited the 26 today. Went to the bathroom and unfortunately did not see the sign saying one person at the time. someone banged on the door multiple times and I asked the issue and was told to leave the bathroom as well as my friends with me. I agreed to leave as well as my friends and was told to leave the bar because my friend did not pull her pants up fast enough, I was very confused and asked what I could do to make the situation resolved. Was told I could do nothing except leave. Never had a bad experience here until then. After being forced out fast, my friend left her purse there. We called to see if they had it and they did not care and told us to come later tonight or tomorrow to see if it turned up instead of looking. Will never be returning and feel very violated being forced out of a bathroom that we were using for its use while my friend was literally half naked. I would give a -0 star rating if I could.
