Great place especially after hours

Love Waffle House. This location has great employees. They greet you upon entering. Everyone acts like they enjoy their work. Plus they call out the orders in the WH tradition.

I've been in Burleson for 1 year and I finally went to a Waffle House! I don't do bread, but the thin pecan waffles were delicious and grits & eggs!!

It was great and they were fast at getting the order out and not messing it up and very polite and respectful and good moms l memory with there orders especially when waiting for certain orders. I'd go back and the food was cook right and not burned

Even though this Waffle House is Dated, the service is top notch. On this day it was the Second Waffle House we visited. The 1st one was on Crowley Rd. It was Dirty. The Waiter attempted to wipe our Table down with a dish Rag that was just sitting on the adjacent table. Not very Sanitary for sure.

My friend and I stopped before we left out for Austin and everyone was so nice! Especially Becky she was an Angel! Absolutely loved the vibe there. We love you Becky! <3 -Bee and Kayden

Want to go somewhere for a fast and delicious sit down breakfast? You definitely want to come here. Came 2 days in a row and my meal was perfect (and I'm very picky). I can't say enough about the team at this location best Waffle House ever been to and I've been to a lot!!

The breakfast was excellent, ham and cheese omelette, hash browns, grilled wheat toast with a ice cold glass of milk!! Service was also GREAT!!!!

I am not from Texas. I had guests staying with me for my sons wedding. Went to waffle House in Burleson for breakfast. It was a great experience. EVERY employee was exceptionally polite, friendly and gave outstanding service. We had breakfast there 3 of the 5 days my guests were here. Shame on me for not taking all their names for this post. I highly recommend this Waffle House for anyone looking for a great breakfast with great service. Thank you to the entire staff!

Lil Beth is amazing! My husband has an addiction to waffle house. This is the first time to this location. We had our food in less than 10min, she constantly checked on us. Greeted everyone that came through the door. The whole staff was great!

I was at this Waffle House today and the service was so smooth and great taste. I am glad that they cater for my Vegan-vegetarian needs so they did for my wife. Mr. Charles, the Unit Manager lead with a good leadership skills, and the whole team present at 11:00 am today work in a perfect harmony.

I mean it’s a Waffle House. A greasy spoon with great service, as long as you treat everyone with respect and don’t try to deliberately instigate something. They always have me craving their original waffles. So freakin good.

Very nice, both my wife and I tried the Waffle house, for the second time (we're from California), we both ordered something we had never ordered before, and both of us instantly found a new favorite. Our server was very kind, local, and gave us advise on the local 'lay-of-the-land'. I had heard jokes about the 'Awful House', I agree, it's AWFULLY GOOD !

You don't go to Waffle House for fancy food, you go for quick diner food that's also comforting in a way. This location serves all that up in addition to being one of the cleanest WH restaurants I've been in. Last time I went, there was a line cook there named Vanessa (I think) who cooked everything we ordered just as we wanted it and said she'd been there for 20 years. She's a gold star in that kitchen.

This is the first Waffle House that has a clean bathroom and the table and lobby is cleaned, employees are very nice and friendly… food was great and made just right…. The staff had a good teamwork keep up the good work 😊

I'm all about giving credit where credit is due. My family and I ate here on 3/17/17 and our service and food was perfect. The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely attentive. The cook came over and spoke to my twins and was very nice. We had never been to this location before but we will go back. Keep up the great work!

Kristy the cook is just amazing, I like my has browns cooked all the way and while I was explaining this to the server she over heard and made sure she got them 100% correct! I am just so pleased. Food is good almost always. There was a group of people who must have been at a bar as they were very loudn but they were having a good time. One guy asleep at the counter, not sure what that was about.

Our first time at this location. Not only was this restaurant VERY CLEAN, the staff was quick to take our order and it seemed in no time we were eating! The food was good!! Can't wait to return! 👍

After camping in the primitive area of Dinosaur Valley State Park, this welcomed us back to civilization. Lotsa great coffee with tasty, hearty breakfast of "southern hibachi" grilled up fresh and served any way I wanted with a smile. Shorter wait than I'd expected too!

The staff here are very friendly and attentive, plus they make pretty great food! The restaurant itself is also well maintained and always clean. Definitely the best WH in Burleson!

There were only a couple of people working, and they were a bit slow. I've been there a lot of times, but my wife doesn't want to go back. Not what it used to be.

Went out with a few friends only 2 cooks who do a phenomenal job. Minus one negative person complaining about something small everything was a good vibe! Had good laughs and hope to come back very soon!

There’s just something about walking into a Waffle House that feels like stepping into Grandma’s kitchen warm, familiar, and the perfect place to sip some coffee, drop the tea, and get the 411. We stop at many Waffle Houses during our roadtrips and I'll say THIS location is great. I was sincerely impressed by all of the staff. While we waited for food all of the staff was observed cleaning, restocking and working like busy bees. This place was immaculate and efficient. Our waitress was perfect and wish I could recall her name for a shout out. This will be our I35 Waffle House from now on. Great job!!

5:35 a.m. It had rained through the night, the kind of slow, steady drizzle that never really stopped, just changed moods. The pavement still shimmered under the streetlights as I pulled into the Waffle House I used to visit with my dad when I was growing up. It had finally finished remodeling, and in some strange way, I felt like I had too. I unknowingly walked to the newly finished side, right past the yellow floor wet sign everyone else seemed to understand but me. The kind waitress didn’t say a word. She moved carefully toward me, balancing her steps over the slick tiles, her shoes squeaking just slightly against the damp floor. When I asked for a cup of water, she smiled and said, “No, you’re too young for that.” Her voice carried that kind of warmth only found before sunrise. She took my order, and a few minutes later, she was navigating the puddles again, one careful step at a time, carrying my plate with both hands like it was something sacred. I felt guilty for sitting on this side of the restaurant, but she never complained or sighed. Just smiled and kept moving. I think I finally understood why my dad always brought me here. It wasn’t just the food, it was the kindness. The quiet kind that doesn’t need to announce itself, the kind that fills the room like steam off the griddle. I finished my meal, paid, and stepped outside. The rain had stopped, but the ground still gleamed under the yellow glow of the sign. As I neared my car, I noticed something on the ground, a discarded slice of gas station pizza, its box slumped near a puddle but completely dry. Whoever left it had been here before me, maybe hours earlier, making the same choice I just had. They had come across the golden light of Waffle House and decided to start over by dropping their past mistakes, literally. Sure, littering isn’t cool, but redemption has to start somewhere. Sometimes that’s all it takes, a wet floor, a kind waitress, and a sign that things can still be warm again. Praise the Wet Floor Sign.

It’s Waffle House, food is good obviously not the best out there but everyone knows that. This review is more for the service review. Our waitress Percy was very efficient in serving us. We had a little of a wait for our food but she made sure to update us and kept our coffees topped off the whole time. There is nothing wrong with asking your customers questions, me personally I like to just be treated good and left alone while enjoying my food. Percy had the perfect balance with that.. super courteous & efficient! Good job Percy! :)

I was a weary traveler and had not been at the Burleson Waffle House in 8 years since my husband passed away. Braden and Alyssa were the only employees. I forgot how good the coffee was. I ordered a senior waffle with bacon and coffee. The employees were awesome and friendly. I ordered breakfast for supper about 6pm. I can't wait to go back again! Thank you Braden and Alyssa!

This is by far my favorite Waffle House in the area. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly here, makes you feel right at home. Food is always hot and fresh too. The cooks at this one are my favorites. I came in for Christmas Day and again yesterday… doesn’t matter how busy they are, they will take good care of you. I grew up eating Waffle House in Ga in the 70’s and I can still say is one of my favorites… good quality food makes the difference. My single burger with grilled onion and Mayo was probably the best burger I’ve eaten yet. The hash browns and chilli are always spot on! Thanks guys for outstanding food and service. This place has such a great staff and is clean (needs some updating, though). We came in during a big cleaning session and they were staffed well enough for some to continue to clean (not where they were prepping and cooking) and others to cook for and serve us. Thanks Cornelius, Beth, April, Nelda, and Brice (and one other whose name I did not catch).

We don't have Waffle House in San Antonio so visit many whenever we travel. This was not one of the best. But I would visit again. A little dirty for not being a busy time. I think maybe they were training the waitress so I would try it again for benefit of the doubt

It was very busy. Our waitress did the best she could...they seemed a little understaffed... but considering everyone has HELP WANTED signs out .. this isnt surprising. She got our food to us before our drinks. ... was busy taking orders. It was all good.

Exactly the sort of experience you'd expect from any Waffle House. Food was tasty and served up quickly by engaging staff members. To be sure, it's not fine dining, but if you love Waffle House you're almost certain to come away happy during a visit to this location.

Out of the 3 Waffle Houses on i-35 this is the best. It's food is better and it's the cleanest. The staff is super quick and friendly they all seem to like their job. I love the hash browns here the will make the scattered extra Crispy for me and they come out Crispy imagine that! Lol

What I like about waffle house is the food and the fact that i can see what they cooking , yes is not the cleanest place , yes is small , but food taste good , if I want better service i can go somewhere else and pay 4 times more , im not saying service is bad but ... is Waffle House and is delicious!!

four stars because most of the time it's wonderful. But on May 20th 2022 9:45 a.m. good God I don't know what happened but the waitress moved fast enough to remove her tip from the dirty table and then did not clean the table while we were waiting. Then after 10 minutes of watching that table not being cleaned, we moved to the counter and asked two waitresses could you please wipe the counter. The one that was moving like a snail told me "can you just give me a sec" . We had been there for 13 minutes waiting for a clean spot. And then we walked out. We ate at IHOP. Prior review March 2022 We just ate at Waffle House on E Renfro and had another superb breakfast. Waitresses are always friendly and have sweet smiles and the cook gets your order perfect. Support these older small businesses! And they have a jukebox!

The Waffle House is always like stepping back in time to days of simple American style food, service and ambiance. Sitting at the counter overlooking the grill, watching the playful banter among the staff and getting a quick hot all American breakfast -eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns along with continually filled hot coffee..Oh! So good!

Standard Waffle House experience, no issues. The server was very helpful in allowing us to do a substitution and even give an extra plate for some sharing of a combo meal.

My boyfriend and I went in foe a quick bite. Everything was great. My only complaint is how cold ALL waffle houses are. Makes my food cold too quick. But it was clean and our waitress was not overbearing and made sure we were all good!

I love WH, today the waitress was sorta not there, Alexis if you pretty much don't acknowledge customer until they leave, you can keep your "bye hon, have a nice day" to yourself. All the others were nice. Food was good as always

Normally I have great experiences here. The other day I came in and apparently they had gone through a mass firing. There was only one person working so they were only able to do to go orders. I look forward to coming back when they're fully staffed and I can dine in.

I have been to this location before, and I make it a point to order my bacon medium. My eggs were ordered over easy, but they came out fried just passed it. My bacon was not medium. The server was trying to tell me about Waffle House standards at this location, but I had been here before so I could not grasp the point.

We ate there today, opted for that instead of someplace else... should have stuck with first instinct. Coffee pots were so nasty with build up that even the fresh brewed coffee tasted like shoe leather. Our bacon was burnt... black, but still served, like they thought it was acceptable. The hash browns were under cooked and really wet. I had gravy on my hash browns... the gravy was served from a plastic container and plopped on in a glob. My bf asked me not to complain out loud, so I didn't, but he was so disgusted with the coffee that he wanted to call corporate. We were never given menus, we just found some at another seating area. The waiter was polite because he set up our silverware. He must have known the coffee was bad because he never offered us refills. The cook staff had R and B baby making music playing on their external speaker over the grill loud enough for the whole restaurant to be uncomfortable. Thankfully we were just passing through and won't return. Over the years I've learned that Waffle Houses are hit or miss... this one was a miss.

The only reason I'm giving three stars is because of the cook and waitress. Food was awesome, and the cook came out to make sure we enjoyed it. Our waitress Jacklyn was attentive and wonderful to talk to. But, the exterior/interior is dreadful. The ceiling is brown from nicotine tar and it's just outdated. Not to mention, the roaches. Good food, wonderful staff....just horrid setting.

Asked for cheese and onions on hashbrowns, got neither. Never had a wrong order in the 25yrs I've been eating at WH. First time for everything.

This is the third visit to this particular location and the third time being disappointed in the staff. It took 15 minutes just to take our order and it wasn't even busy. They continued to try to pawn our table off. They lack any urgency. The only positive was the food was actually cooked to our request.

Generally the food is greasy short order quick. Generally the service you have a 50-50 chance of getting a great server or a really rude one. One thing I'll say a million times as you have to be a really smart person to work here this is not a job for just some Play No dummy like this takes a lot of memory.

Food was good. Waitress talked the entire time LOUDLY to other patrons and cowokers. All were well informed how difficult 3 small children was on her. We could not have a conversation over her nonstop, loud talking. Beyond annoying. All other staff victims of her life lived out loud on stage.

Never had a bad meal or experience at waffle house untill most recently. Apparently it is 'hit and miss' at this location on whether or not you can sit and dine or it's 'take out only'. Two of the last three times here it was To Go only.

Visited this location last week and the only good things were the waffle and Waitress. We sat down and saw around 10 cockroaches (one crawled across my boyfriends plate...vomit) during the 30 minutes we were there. SO unsanitary. I used to love Waffle House but this one has made me lose faith in them all.

They don't clean their tables nor silverware. My dad and I went there for father's day and they were very rude. My kids asked if I would bring something home for them. So I was going to take a picture of the picture but one of the cooks said that I couldn't do that due to policy. I said that their menu is on the internet. My dad gets there and we were trying to find a table due to them not cleaning them.( when I got there,there were only 2 people and they were seated at the same booth. After we found two seats, we unroll the sliver ware and there was old food on the forks. We walked out and went to IHOP.

I ordered a sausage melt and had to tell the kid what was on it. He ignored me and made it with an egg and didn't understand why I refused it.

This is by far the worst waffle house I experienced. First the brought my food out ,they told me my waffle was on the way ,we never got refills for our coffe.after I finished my breakfast and got up to pay and asked about my waffle ,the waitress said she was sorry that they had burned the first one,so i said why they didnt make another thats when she told the cook to make another ,NEVER COMING BACK HERE AND WILL ALL THE PEOPLE I KNOW ABOUT MY HORRIBLE,ABD TO TOP OFF DIDNT EVEN OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR THE WAFFLE,,,,,,,PEOPLE STAY AWAY ,AND HER NOAME WAS MICHELLE

Absolutely horrible service. this rating is based only on the service, I didn't stay for the food. The tattoo covered waitress asked me of I needed a minute to order and I said yes. After waiting 15 minutes for her to come take my order, I walked out. She took the orders of both people sitting on either side of me. I guess they just didn't like how I looked or something. Went to Cracker Barrell instead. Better service and they were happy to take my money.

Greasy front door, booth seat, table, and even menu itself! Waitresses talked out loud about personal issues the whole time we were there. Waffles were not tasty - service included one offer for more coffee. I have NEVER visited a restaurant (Waffle House, Burleson TX) this bad … and I’m old so that’s saying something. That one star is much higher than the experience I had.

I get it that the weather is horrid today and no one wants to have to go into work but the service or lack there of is an understatement. Our electricity has been out all day due to the snow, so we decided to go look for a place to get a hot meal. I have a 2.5 y/o and he was hungry. We see that waffle house is open so we pull in. Mind you I have not been to this location in years due to the horrible service I had on multiple occasions but we thought we would give it a try. First thing as we walk up an older lady yells out the door that they are doing take out only. Ok so we go back to the car. I try to call in an order using the number that is posted on the window, and get a message that this location is not taking call in orders. So, my husband decides to go in and order our food to go. Let's just say they let it be known that they did not want to have to deal with customers today. He walked out with three very small cheeseburgers with absolutely nothing on them but a bun, meat and cheese. They told him they were out of everything else , no fries, no lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, hashbrowns ,NOTHING! And then charged him $15 for those sliders they called burgers. SMH. I will never go back to this location!

We have been here going on 20minutes, got a drink, nobody has taken our order for food. People coming in the door are being told it's a 45 minute wait. LeAnn, I believe is her name, talking on her phone, personal call. Restaurant half empty. Very rude when spoken to ( LeAnn).tried to load pictures showing the restaurant was over half empty. Very poor service.

We were literally turned away from another empty location so we came to this one and there was an employee standing at the door telling people they were full capacity when they only had 6-8 people at the bar. I’m so confused. How have I gone to two locations in one night and they both refused us service because they were “too full”?? After we left, other places had closed so we didn’t get to have any food this evening. We would have tipped well too so I don’t understand why the two Waffle House locations in Burleson don’t like making money 🤷‍♀️

The waitress was very poor service she was too busy flirting with the other customers she never pay attention to the ones that took care of their drinks. Bolster boost and the counter are not made for people with large statues and it wasn't fun when the waitress laughed at me didn't think it was very funny

It started off pretty good BUT then the guy making my waffle dropped it whereit was hanging off of the waffle maker THEN picked it up with his bare hand and put it on the plate and tried to give it to me. I said umm no, I don't want that one you touched it with your hands. The manager asked if I wanted to take it home because they had forgotten to make our waffles to begin with. I explained what he did. She made him redo it. My daughter and I had already heard the manager and another employee argue about losing the thing to take the waffles off of the waffle maker like 2 little children. This was the worse waffle house visit I've ever had. Very disappointed. And I love Waffle Hose

DO NOT EAT HERE! I never leave reviews but after my experience at this waffle house I had to. Waited about 15 mins to be acknowledged. Another 10mins for my drink. The wait is not bad because I understand this place is not fast food. The waitress was very kind. The wait on the food was not extremely long. However, my order was incorrect. The kind waitress insisted on remakeing my order. I didn't want the kitchen to get back up even worse so I dove in. Food was hot and tasted great. Till about my fourth bite when I felt a long hair tangled up in my hash browns. I stopped eating and examined my food further. More hair. Told the waitress and she witnessed my remove even more long strains of hair. She showed the manager and I over heard him say "maybe it's the customers". I have short hair plus wearing a ball cap. None of the staff was wearing hair nets. BOTTOM LINE DO NOT EAT HERE.

Got here and was told they could serve us because don’t have lids for to go.I asked the waitress could I get my order without lid for my wife and was told no rudely with no sympathy what whatsoever. This is the second time this has happened within a month. Waffle House has really lower their standards on customer service to the point of hat they simply don’t care about their customers at this location. Wow considering I sat at the table for 15 minutes with no on here while the workers literally said he can wait while they ate themselves and smoked cigarettes. Just wow. Done

How is waffle house gonna claim 24hrs i proceeded to run through a rain storm and go inside just to be told that they were closing down what kinda bs is that why are your doors open at 2pm if your closed

Normally I love waffle house, but today was the the worst service I have ever had. I am very low maintenance and I don't ask for much when eating out. It wasn't busy whatsoever. Took 10 minutes to order drinks, she walked away and did not return for another 10 minutes so my 7 and 5 year old went to other tables to find sugar and creamer for my coffee. She finally returns we order, waited a very long time, she brings part of my order and part of my son's, we needed salt and pepper, can't get her attention, 5 minutes pass and I send the kids to other tables to get some. Then we see her coming with 3 waffles then watch her stop and give a waffle to some people that had only been there 5 minutes. I tell her we ordered 3 waffles and baffled she says "huh they should have had 3" I said yes you just gave it to those people. She walks away we wait 8 more minutes and I send the kids to get us cold syrup off another table. Then finally the last waffle arrives but I already shared my waffle with my son and we are all pretty frustrated at this point, especially since we also asked for a butter knife we never got and 3 people had to share 1 knife. I truly never complain about stuff because I have waited tables but today was truly frustrating.

Lines are out the door, and the store is so small that everyone literally eats and braeths rite smak next to one another! We wound up going to Dennys, and the wait time was zero, and the food was 👍. First time attempting to go to 🧇 house and the last time.

Foods alright, but it would have been better if the older lady in the thick framed glasses /ponytail wasn't always getting an attitude and nagging at the cooks. This waffle house has a lot of workers, with lots of attitude ..

I ordered through Doordash. Breakfast sampler. No utensils, no syrup, no butter. Y'all are lazy and just trash. It's 1030pm...what am I supposed to do now? Eat with the straw for my drink?
