We visited a few days ago and had a great experience. The service was wonderful and everything was quick. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and the pricing was appropriate for the area 🇲🇽🩷.
This was a great place to escape from the resort food. Tania provided exceptional service and the mariachi band was delightful. The cochinita pibil was melt in your mouth tender & flavorful. My friend loved her tampiquena flank steak. Margaritas were delicious.

What a gem! Excellent atmosphere to kick back and relax. The food was fantastic and well priced. The staff genuinely like eachother, joking around and working together. Service was excellent and Neri made it extra awesome even giving me a tequila lesson!
Burritos are great… we couldn’t do another night in the all inclusive buffet wanted some taste apart from salt.. dropped in here on a walk past.. had a steak and a chicken burrito and they was first class.. staff great too.. very friendly and very happy to help with any questions.. plan to visit again before we leave.. reasonable prices too
Andrea was amazing. She made great food and drink recommendations, chatty and a great person. The pork was flavorful and tender, the rice was fluffy. We had a slight panic moment with a phone left in our uber. Andrea offered to help us translate with our driver and we were able to get the phone back.
Love the atmosphere at this restaurant. it feels like going to a small museum going to the restroom, so much to see on the way there. According to my nephew this was the best fish he had in while in Cancun and my octopus was pretty good, the only problem I had was that the skin was pretty slimy and chewy between the tentacles. Service was really good too, waitress checked on us often
LOVE THEIR FOOD. I was here for a conference and it's right around the corner from the Cancún Conference center. I love the salmon in peanut sauce, I've had their Angus burrito and guacamole. All Excellent. I feel I found a gem while all the other restaurants are busy. I keep coming back to this one. Love the texture of the salsas and the spice levels. Nice website. Great staff.
Had dinner on a Friday night with my two teenage grandkids. Excellent food, wonderful service, the waiters and other staff were very personable and friendly, and the three piece band was very good, at a very nice volume which didn't overwhelm conversation. The next night, the grands suggested going back! Both nights we spent about $18 each, including wine and a shared dessert one night, which I thought was very reasonable.
I really enjoyed my dinner here. The service was very friendly and fast but not bothersome. The chips and salsa they bring as a complimentary snack were delicious. You could tell that the 3 salsas were handmade and interesting. One had pepitas as an ingredient and like nothing I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a Margarita which was perfect, tangy and not too sweet. The ceviche was delicious, octopus, shrimp and mahi …the lime juice and salt were well balanced. All for a good price ($50 CAD) - 2 margaritas and ceviche which left me very full and feeling happy!
Very good restaurant. Delicious food (guacamole, lime soup, green enchiladas) in which my wife and I really enjoyed. Excellent service, Tanya was very nice and friendly. Nice atmosphere, we took some photos with sombreros for guests’ pictures.
Special thanks to the waiter Neli❣️ This place is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely incredible and it was cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back!
This place has vegan food and desserts! Wonderful. We had the tofu burger, pumpkin, crêpes, and carrot tacos. For dessert we had “Bonuelos” on beans. Everything tasted great and there were SO MANY other options we wanted to try! We had a birthday and they brought out a sombrero and sang to us. It was such a surprise and everyone was cheerful. We came on a Monday night and there was live music mariachi. 10/10
It’s taken me a year to write this review, but I finally made it through the photos from my welcome dinner and wedding day! I can’t say enough good things about Casa Tequila. I got married on Cancun and needed a venue for my welcome dinner for 55 guests, and they delivered perfectly. The food was deliciously authentic Mexican, accommodating dietary restrictions and ensuring safety for my foreign guests. They crafted a special three-course menu that everyone loved. The service was phenomenal, with everyone raving about the massive margaritas and the incredible seafood. Plus, the regular à la carte menu was available for those wanting something extra. And the desserts? Absolutely chef’s kiss! A special shoutout to the manager, Manuel Garcia, who was incredibly helpful and attentive to all my last-minute changes. I can’t wait to return and relive those beautiful memories. Casa Tequila will forever hold a special place in my heart! **I designed some paper menus and asked for the restaurant’s logo.
Went there for dinner as a group of 4 people. Paid around 2300 MXP for Guacamole, Enchiladas, Pulpo grillado, tacos with chicken and fajitas with margaritas! The waiter Carlos was super nice and they were all very helpful!! The food was delicious and super filling!
We really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was amazing, setting as well. During our meal a band was playing Mexican songs - we loved it. We recieved an appetizer, with homemade salsas and fresh nachos. I had a burrito and my bf ordered fajitas. Everything was nicely seasoned, meat was juicy. I highly recommend this place.
Best restaurant in our entire vacation to Cancun. Located right in the middle of the super busy hotel zone corner, this is a wonderful place to grab lunch/dinner. Very nice environment within the restaurant, mostly outdoor seating which can be very nice during pleasant weather. Food is really really good, superbly delicious and tastes unique. Try as many items as you can and really relish the options available. Plenty of vegetarian / vegan options available too so no worries if you have dietary restrictions. Staff is very pleasant and generous, helped us try many different items and gave us a good taste of authentic Mexican food. Occasionally there are musicians that visit and you can get a private performance which uplifts the entire experience. Highly recommend coming to this place!

5 of us went to eat for dinner and it was good but could be so much better. Margaritas were good. Two of us had the Tortilla soup and the presentation was good but it was not served with extras like more cheese, tortillas, hot sauce, crema limes etc. We used my husband's limes for his so-so Shrimp Tacos and squeezed those into the soup and asked for more tortillas and actual hot sauce which was not on the table. After putting all of that in it was quite good. My son said his Shrimp Tacos were boring just 3 shrimp in a tortilla with pico on the side. The other husband said his Coconut Shrimp were really good. Tortillas were served with 3 sauces that were good but none of them were hot which is odd. Server was very good and the ambiance was great but not sure that we will return? We need more hits with the food and drink before we will return to a restaurant.

I wasn’t impressed with the shrimp tacos — the strong lemon flavor and the shrimp were rubbery and tough, likely overcooked. On the bright side, the server was very nice, apologized, and didn’t charge me for the dish, which I appreciated. Overall, the staff was friendly, but it did take a while to get someone’s attention when I needed the check
Walked down from hotel zone and wanted a quick bite that didn’t cost 100 dollars, and found this place. The service was good, the drinks were strong and food tasted good. We tried margaritas, guacamole and vegan enchiladas. Will visit again.
