Honestly don’t understand the reviews here. It was fantastic. Wait was a SMIDGE longer than normal but that’s it. I had the ceviche. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the chips (too rough) but my girlfriend had the rancheros huevos and was good too. The bacon was AMAZING. Drinks reasonably priced and good.

We came here for late breakfast (12pm) and were amazed! It’s a hidden place that has the best food and drinks we have had here in Cancun. The service is extremely special. The decor is not that attractive but it didn’t matter. Try this place! It’s so worth!

We enjoyed breakfast so much yesterday that we returned this morning. I initially rated the service as a 5 because our waiter was very considerate and the food arrived quickly. But, both times my husband requested jalapeños on his omelet. Both times the waiter repeated the order. Neither time did it have jalapeños. So don’t expect modifications to be honored.

I ordered the chicken tacos. They were delicious! The service was wonderful. Our server was very kind. The restaurant is beautiful! It was also air conditioned, which was really nice. 10/10

Absolutely Fantastic! Don’t miss out on this place! It really is fantastic! We had a variety of foods! Pancakes and bacon and eggs! And.. a Hawaiian burger that was so so great! Service perfection . Comfortable and friendly . I’ve been to a zillion restaurants in my life.. I’m 63 today! And this is a winner!

Our experience here was great! We were looking for a place in the hotel zone that served breakfast food (eggs, pancakes, etc) and this place did not disappoint! First, you walk in and are pleasantly greeted by all the floral decor. You can tell they put thought and effort info the design. We were seated promptly. Our sever was very sweet, not pushy. Ordered coffee (bonus / they have almond milk!) and omelette - one ham/cheese, one vegetarian. Flavors of the food fantastic!! We were pleasantly surprised! Do note on the receipt, they automatically add in a suggested tip - glad i saw that to not double tip!

Great food and great service. Located in the Hotel District across from Cocoa Bongo, Senior Frogs, and The City. We will definitely be back!

The food had been absolutely delicious a total recommendation for a last dinner, the atmosphere is charming and makes you want to be in your best dress. The service is very friendly as they get to you as quickly as they can and make you feel welcome. If there’s ever a day I come back to Cancun I will be returning here

We bumped into this gem by accident and turned out to be an amazing spot! First thing you will notice is the beautiful decorations, very colorful! The hostess was very kind and the waiter Daniel was very attentive with a great sense of humor! Then there's Paco, the General Manager. He was so on top of every detail. The music at this place was the absolute best! Finally, the food was out of this world. Will definitely come back to El Agradecido on our next trip!

Very pretty breakfast/brunch spot. Ask about prices beforehand. The menu they up sale doesn't have prices. It was $33 dollars for birria tacos. Overall, the service was great, and the atmosphere is terrific.

Hidden beautiful Place. Unfortunately they were out of 3 of my chosen drink; Shrimp ceviche was good but not impressive. 20% extra charge for using credit card.

Food and service were good. Food took a while despite having less than 5 customers including myself. Told me their card machine wasn't working when it was time to pay. 😕

Very disappointed. On the menu they had 5 white wines and on the moment, they didn't have any to serve. A Sea food place without white wine? Pity. Lobsters aren't fresh, the waiter have showed me frozen ones, always double check the price per Kilo, they will trick you I eat oysters for many years and probably the worst ones I have ever eaten. Not fresh, not cleaned properly and very small. The starters they serve aren't good at all. The restaurant has a nice design inside, shame the food quality doesn't match. Pay attention, this establishment will make you sign a form in the end, where they will take 3% more on the top of the bill because you paying by card, not sure if this is even legal!!! Once again, it is a shame that a restaurant with such a design have such a bad quality food. In the whole Cancun area, this was the last place I would recommend to anyone.

Short version? Be warned⚠️ Poor service, rotten oysters, random charges, and THIEVES. We came in as a group of 6 paying separately. The server gave us bottled water, and disappeared for 20 minutes before we received glasses of ice. We order, we received our orders separately and 10–15 minutes apart. We sat so long without our food, drinks, silverware, plates, other servers came to ask what we needed. It took OVER 2 HOURS for us to get all of our order of oysters, shrimp pasta, Turkey burrito and ceviche! The oysters were rotten, they brought sauces saying we needed to enhance the taste. Cmon!! We know what oysters are supposed to be like. THEN, tried to double charge our orders, and added a 30% gratuity after we got the manager involved. THE WORST PART? They tried to copy down the credit card number AND ccv code 😳 while we paid. I’m glad others had an enjoyable experience. Very disappointing for us.

I want to start by saying this should be illegal to steal American dollars and try and short change a person in pesos!!! It’s really pathetic how money hungry the culture at this restaurant is!!!! I had a pleasant dining experience until it was time to pay my bill… My total was $22.50 USD AND paid with $100 dollar bill usd. DANIEL then brings me back 1200 pesos…. Like really just steal $20 dollars from me ????? I hate dishonesty and don’t respect the business or the employees . This was a TERRIBLE experience!!!! I hate I even gave this new restaurant an opportunity. I pray they won’t be in business long because they are ALL THIEVES!!!!! If I could have given 0 stars I would have . Go to hell DANIEL
