I was in town for several days and every time we drove down Carpinteria Avenue, we noticed this particular corner eatery patio was packed throughout the day and night. Adults and kiddos out there eating and drinking. I made a mental note to myself to check 'em out. That I did ... I went there for lunch. They share a shopfront with Dang's burgers. Walk into the building and smack to the left is the Dang's burger ordering counter. To the right is Sunburst Wine Bar. The bar has a bar counter and chairs. The interior look is modern, unpretentious casual. Bright with lots of natural light. But if you're looking for a TV, they don't have any. The vibe is chill, unpretentious, welcoming, and family friendly. Family friendly bar?!? No, kids aren't allowed at the counter but are allowed on the outside patio and well as leashed dogs. The patio seating is tables and bench seating. The bar menu has draft beers, local wines. and canned drinks. They have flights. While partaking in a drink at the bar, you can even eat your Dang's food at the bar as well. The bartender was engaging with a great attitude.
Great vibe, generous outdoor and limited indoor seating. Connected to Dang Burgers. Good selection of beers/wine. Came here with our 3 month old and had a great time.

A good spot for a drink, with a well curated wine and beer list. No food, only snacks. I would go back with an order of something and enjoy their deck. The beverages didn’t include the origin of the wines or beers, adding that is my one suggestion.
The best smash burgers i have tried to be honest, 100% recommended, the place is nice, good environment, great service. It's perfect to enjoy in the summer with a couple of friends
Watched this place get built at Teddys happy hour over the last few months. Finally walked in to nice welcoming staff, crisp design, and great wine selection! This place is new, so stay tuned, im sure they'll be adding things. If this place locked down some epic apps, small plates, and crafted wine accompanying dishes, forgeta boutit! #3rdcornerob
Stopped in here for dinner on a road trip from LA. Loved the food, wine and vibe. Such a good find.
We like to stop by while walking our dog and grab a beer here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they have great live music!!
Neat little new spot with a great outdoor patio to hang out on while you enjoy some wine and beer. Mostly wine, some good beers on tap, also bottles available.

Great place for best beer and wine in the Carpenteria area. It has plenty of outdoor seating space. It’s open all days in a week and price is reasonable and well positioned to accommodate you need. As name suggests it’s Bar only place and no food served but you have few options for quick bite - grab and go kept in the freezer. I have not tried though. Beer is great and ambient is good. I would love them to introduce some type of food like pizza etc but anyway we have plenty of such options surrounding anyone can search for
Sunburst now has Dang Burgers made to order 11:30 am noon Wednesday to Monday (closed on Tuesday). These smash burgers are the bomb, and great alone or with your favorite beverage. Updated food and liquor license welcomes all ages since November 13th 2023. Great for families with children!
So happy to have this sweet addition to our Carp scene. A great wine and beer tap selection and a very nice bottle shop featuring local sips. I love that we can bring the dog, sit on the patio and people watch. I'm looking forward to when they extend their hours. I think they could open as early as 11 on weekends and definitely stay open until 9 or 10 during the summer months. I have to say I've even found myself trying to stop by on a Monday or Tuesday only to find them closed.
I’m so happy this wine bar opened! It’s just what our little town needed. The staff is awesome and all around good vibes! They sometimes have live music on the weekends. Not sure why the review below gave this place 1 star the permit situation is out of their control! Definitely 5 🤩stars!!

Walked over with my husband and 4 month old baby. Unfortunately they wouldn’t let us sit because permits only cover 21 and over….. so if you’re looking for a nice glass of wine and have a babe in tow head to Corktree 👍
Garbage service. Ordered our food and waited outside for 40+ minutes before going back inside to ask about our order only to be told that it never got entered... So yeah, waste of time, go eat somewhere else.
