We were at Carpinteria for almost a week from NYC and came across this really cute restaurant where we had breakfast. We ordered corned beef with potatoes hash and biscuits & gravy with chorizo. I have to say, this was one of the best tasting breakfasts we had in a long while. When the biscuits & gravy showed up, I thought that there is no way I'll be able to finish it. However, somehow they've managed to make them so light we both were able to finish everything and felt really good after. Service was very efficient and food came out quick. Definitely a great place, highly recommend!

The Worker Bee Café in Carpinteria, CA, is a charming little restaurant that is definitely worth checking out. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with outstanding customer service that will make you feel right at home. The food is equally impressive, with a menu that offers a range of delicious options. For breakfast, I highly recommend ribeye and eggs. The steak was cooked well and had a rich, savory flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy eggs. The country potatoes were crispy and seasoned just right, adding a nice crunch to the dish. The eggs benedict with toast was another standout dish. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce had a nice tangy flavor that complemented the dish. The toast was also perfectly toasted, with a nice crunch that added a nice texture to the dish. The waffle and berries are a must-try dish. My daughter always orders this dish and they do a great job here at the Worker Bee Café. The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. The fresh berries added a nice tartness that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the waffle. And let's not forget about the mimosas. The full-glass mimosa was a great way to start the day, with a refreshing and delicious flavor that paired perfectly with the breakfast dishes. My wife and I love the mimosas here. It's one of the reasons we keep coming back. Overall, the Worker Bee Café is a great spot for breakfast. The customer service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the outdoor seating in the back adds a nice touch of charm to the dining experience.

One of my usual stops in Carp. Kombucha on tap, plus gluten free options! Pictured are the GF raisin french toast and waffle. Left full and happy! Gets very busy. UPDATE Jan 1, 2022 As usual, great service, great food. So happy with the gluten free options.

Delightful patio seating. Food was great, we had the corned beef hash and chicken fried steak Benedict. Both were delicious! We truly enjoyed our conversation with the owner Ricky! Staff was extremely friendly.

Great food! Had breakfast in the back patio with our kids and dog. A little pricey but the quality is fantastic. Service was okay, missed a couple of things but not a big deal after a Kombutcha.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Worker Bee. I came with no expectations because my buddy rated them a 3 star out if 5 star for a breakfast burrito. The food was delicious, decaf coffee was great and their bacon is crunch and tasty. I definitely recommend them and if I am ever in town I will be back.

My husband and I are in vacation and I found this spot. This place is excellent. The service is great, the father and son duo Rick and Rick are very personable and very helpful. This family owned business will be there for a long time if they continue to serve excellent food and give great service. We ate there twice for breakfast and brought friends with us the second we came this week. This place is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

This is a very cute place and we will go back. My husband ordered the Steak, Eggs, and gluten free English Muffins. The steak was ok. I got the spinach omelette and it was chocked full of spinach. I like my hash browns crispier than these were but I'm sure others love them. The service is excellent and they have several gluten free options. Next time, I want to try the jalapeno bacon.

I have been going to this place since I was a small kid and I continue to return time and time again despite now residing in Texas. The atmosphere is calm and quirky. I order the eggs Benedict and it's always a hit... I do wish the ham was a thinner slice. We also tried the special which was ribeye steak & eggs which wasn't as great as we would've liked for the price. Speaking of pricing, it has definitely gotten more and more expensive with each visit. I think some items were definitely overpriced but again, I'll keep coming here purely for the kind people, the good food, and the nostalgia. I love to see a Carpinteria staple still standing strong.

Initial thoughts upon visiting: Good menu selection, good beer selection, very friendly staff. Prices aren't bad for Carpinteria. Some things seem a little overpriced, while other items are actually cheap. I ordered shrimp and grits. Dare I say it? Thiers is better than the place in Santa Barbara that specializes in Cajun brunch. Hard to believe, but it's true! Tasty shrimp, good quality homemade grits, spinach. Only thing missing is the andouille. My companion had a breakfast burrito with corned beef. It was very large and deemed "Delicious." We took home one of their large, pricy cinnamon rolls because they were supposed to be great. They aren't. Meh. Overall: We like it. Thumbs up.

Had high hopes for this cute restaurant however we were disappointed with the outdated menu and the mediocre fare. Do not come here is you are vegetarian or vegan, they use one small grill for everything and everything tastes like meat and old oil. Ordered: 2 eggs any style with hash browns and biscuit Eggs were ordered over easy and came came over hard Hash Brown's tasted of rancid/old oil and were cooked on the same grill as meat products, though there was no meat in the hash browns Biscuit was fluffy if a bit tasteless The water was served in a plastic cup, the water tasted like bacon and eggs, so probably the cup wasn't cleaned properly Requested another water, no greasy bacon taste, but tasted like plastic The ketchup on the table was a bit fermenty and probably sitting out too long Breakfast burrito was oily and meaty
